Because I got such a sweet review from bunnyxstar, I just had to get this chapter up ASAP! I hope it's as much fun to read as it was to write. R&R!

A full moon lights up the bare, starless sky. Fog covers the ground! Barry is standing atop a bridge, looking down. Clear tear tracks trace down each cheek. Eyes glisten as he stares down at the harsh waves of the wild river. He licks his dry lips as he considers jumping to his death. Ending it all. Cutting the pain off!

Barry decides what he's gonna do! What he has to do to end the aching in his heart.

He closes his eyes and whispers, "goodbye."

Before he can take a full step off the ledge, he is startled backward by a thick New York accent! Eyes shoot open!

Harley asks, "Hey, you really thinking about jumping?"

Barry wipes the few stray tears away with his sleeve. "Just leave me alone." He, again, lifts one foot off the ledge. But before he falls, Harley grabs ahold of his hand and pulls him backward.

She demands, "Stop it! now!"

HARLEY:

(Sings)- Turn that frown-

Right around.

Barry glares, "why? Why should I? He Lied!"

Harley snarks, "yeah, so because he lied your gonna commit suicide?"

Barry cries, "this is... I can't win."

Harley giggles, "yeah you can; with me you can."

Harley spreads her arms.

(Sings)- We'll be in it together.

She hugs herself.

(Sings)- A joint endeavor.

Barry rolls his eyes. "Hard of hearing? Let me die?"

Harley giggles, "no. I refuse."

HARLEY:

Because I may be a villain,

(Sings)- But in this story, I'm not the bad guy.

I won't let you die.

She pulls him off the ledge, closer to herself. With pleading eyes, she sings,

(Sings)- Stop fighting this.

Let me help you.

They dismissed you.

Left you.

Didn't believe you.

They need to pay. We'll make them pay!

You an I!

Barry pulls his hand away, "how?"

Harley scoffs, grabbing his hand again "you kidding?" She spins herself into his chest, "with an ally like me, you can't lose."

She spins herself away, still holding onto his hand.

Barry smirks, "continue."

HARLEY:

(Sings)- You and I, together, make a good fucking team! (She lets his hand go and grabs his shirt collar)

You and I, together, can paint this fucking town (she lets go with on hand to use it yo 'paint a picture')

With those mother fuckers.

Fucking blood!

We'll dance to the sounds of their screams. (Roughly releasing his shirt, and then wraps one arm around his neck while the other hand fist bumps the sky.)

Barry quickly frowns, rolling his eyes. He pushes Harley off of him and turns his back to her. With his arms folded, he scolds, "Harley!"

Harley stomps her foot.

HARLEY: Ugh fine.

(Sings)- At least let me break their self-esteem

And, maybe put some AIDS in their bloodstream!

Barry spins back around, stomping his foot, and scolds (again) "HARLEY!"

She giggles and shrugs, "kidding! Geeze, why so sensitive?"

She smiles. She wraps one arm around Barry, pulling him closer.

HARLEY: But...

(Sings)- Though you do look pretty down!

(Gasp) like you need a new buddy!

(Mock voice- Here I am! Here I am!)

Don't you want this bestie?

(Mock voice- Yes I do! Yes I do!)

Boy, this is the way that I see it

Your nephew is the one that should be leavin'

(Whisper) the land of the living!

(Regular Volume) And you should stick around!

Barry extends one eyebrow up, "excuse me?"

Harley playfully pouts and then winks, "don't worry 'bout it!"

Harley jumps backward with a perfect flip, "so, Barry,"

(Sings)- don't end yourself (making a slit motion across her neck)

Defend yourself (holding up both fist and jabbing the air).

They are calling you a criminal, (jab him in the chest with her pointer finger)

You oughta become a criminal! (jab him harder in the chest with her pointer finger)

Not Suicidal

Hey, become homicidal

Because Wally is the one you should maim!

Together we'll exterminate, assassinate

Hell, they all should pay: decimate, eliminate, terminate

Barry, exhausted, says "no."

HARLEY:

The finer points can wait
But first, make my day. You just gotta say my name!

Barry begs, "just stop."

HARLEY:

Okay. Fine.

(Sings)- Then just go-ahead

And jump. End your life,

But that won't stop him. That won't make it right.

With you gone, who's gonna set the truth free.

Don't you see,

Here you got a solid plan B option?

I can bring that brat so much pain

And all you gotta do is say my name!

Boy, just say it three times in a row

Then you won't believe how far I'll go

Right now I'm on the bench, but coach

BARRY:

(Sings)- Harley?

HARLEY:

No.

(Sings)- Say it like you mean it! Three times in a row!

I. WANT. it.

Spoken. Unbroken.

Are you ready?

BARRY:

(Sings)- I think so.

With anticipation, Harley shouts "then go."

BARRY:

(Sings)- Harley...

Harley's eyes gleams, "yes..."

BARRY: (smirks)

(Sings)- Harley...

Harlehy almost begs for her third name drop.

Barry teases, "Haaaa..."

HARLEY:

(Sings)- Oh, this is going to be so awesome!

Instead ofc saying her whole name, he says, "Ha."

Confusing Harley, "huh?"

BARRY:

(Sings)- You're so smart. A pretty young, murderous gal, doing as you please!

Causing your enemies to become extinct!

Cease Existing.

Cease living.

But that's not me. It's not what I'm all about!

Listen, Harley,

I'll think about your offer!

And Harley,

I'll let you know,

But, honestly, I prefer my chances down below!

Being Betrayed by my friends and family.

Leaving me broken-hearted and disregarded doesn't mean that I'm an easy mark!

I've been swimming with piranhas

I don't need a shark.

Yes, life sucks

But not that much

Okay, Harley

Harley

Be a doll and spare me the lecture.

HARLEY:

(Sings)- But, I'm offering you a full-time Killer

BARRY:

(Sings)- Well? Are you even any good?

HARLEY:

(Sings)- You bet'cha

Trust me, sweety!

Once I get started, they'll all pay. Brought down to their knees.

I'll have them begging for mercy before they are deceased!

Barry growls, "I said that I don't want to kill anybody."

HARLEY:

Fine!

(Sings)- We'll let them live!

I'll be corroborative.

We'll compromise,

No one dies.

But without a doubt,

I'll still take them out!

BARRY:

(Sings)- Really it's a flattering offer

HARLEY:

(Sings)- Don't you wanna see the lil fucker suffer?

BARRY: (Sigh)

(Sings)- I think I'd rather

He quickly jumps up onto the ledge.

BARRY:

(Sings) - just jump off.

Harley grabs a hold of Barry's hand as she shouts, "no, don't."

BARRY: He pulls his hand free.

(Sings)- Bet it be easier!

Again Harley begs, "no! Stop!"

Barry shakes his head, "I'd be free!"

HARLEY:

(Sings)- Let me

Help you,

Please!

With my help.

You'll be free

But also alive!

BARRY: (shakes his head)

(Sings)- I may be suicidal

But Harley, you're a bad guy!

So go back to prison!

Because I don't need the help of a villain!

Alone, I can make my nephew pay

For this acquisition

Forcing me insane

And causing me so much pain!

I'll make him pay!

He's gonna scream my name!

Wally doesn't have to die

Just because of this Lie

that ruined my life

Forcing my friends and my wife

to leave me behind!

Leaving me with this deadly state of mind.

So Harley...

With a deadly stare, he speaks low "goodbye!"

Wally jolts awake. Heart pounding.

"What the hell was that?"

But then his phone rings, quickly answering his question as the ring tone "just say my name" plays.

Wally snatches his phone from his night side table and sees Dick's name. Wally glares as he slams his thumb down- ending the call. Wally then sees that was the 34th time Dick tried to call him. Wally shakes his head and mutters, "asshole."

Wally mutes his phone before closing his eyes to go back to sleep.

Dick notices that this time the ringing stop abruptly. Wally deliberately hung up that call. He feels defeated.

Bruce reminds, "Dick, I promised I'll talk to Wally tomorrow. It will be fine."

Dick whines, "I know, but that's so long away."

Bruce chuckles, "go to bed Dick, and stop bombing Wally's phone."

Dick moans as he makes his way up the stairs, "fine."

Dick plugs in his phone before he jumps into bed. He checks his call log just in case Wally called. No luck. He then decides to just scroll through his news feed. When he spots an old story about Barry Allen he clicks on it. The story is about an interview. With a link to the interview, Dick decides to be redirected to the video.

The news reporter asks, "the whole city believed that the teenage girl was another tragic suicide. But the police didn't believe in the suicide. How could you have known?"

The chief answers, "give credit where credit is due. I also thought that this girl was just another suicide. I even ordered for the man who found her murderer to end his wild goose chase. Our forensic scientist, Barry Allen, refused to give up. He told me that he knew that it couldn't be suicide and had to make sure the world knew. Let's praise him quickly. He has yet to go home. Yet to get the much-deserved sleep."

Dick watches Barry step forward. He then squints at the time stamp, "4:14 pm?"

Dick looks over the date, "that's the date that Wally told... But Wally said he waited until Barry left, but if he..." His eyes widen, "no way."
