Chapter 12: Heroes Rising

"And I'm back. Woah." The voice told the cast of Fate Grand Order. "I gotta say, Christmas rocked! Not to mention my days off at work and presents! Hell yeah!"

"That's nice." While Ritsuka had no idea how the voice managed these things despite being with them, Da Vinci mentioned that maybe the voice perceived time differently than them. Though there was one thing he got curious about. Something his sister also seemed to notice.

"Presents? Day off...Do you have a job?" Guadako asks. A few of the other Servants were also curious, seeing as they thought the voice was some higher God-being, not the usual worker.

"Unfortunately, yes." The Voice moaned. "Here I can do whatever I want, but even a being like me has jobs elsewhere. Thankfully, I got a day off from my other work." Just what kind of job did he even have? "In the meantime, time to watch another world. One where super-powers actually exist!"

"Super powers." Ritsuka brightened up. "As in, real powers?"

"Like lasers and super strength!?" Guadako was also excited.

"Hell yeah baby!" The voice cheered, making the others realize he was rather excited for this world than others. "This dimension I'm showing you is considered one of the best ones out there. Right up there with Marvel and DC in some areas. Hahaha!"

"Now I'm interested even more." Cu grins. "You said super-human, didn't you? As in loads of strong powers."

"Sorta." The Voice answers. "See, in this world, eighty-percent of the population has super-powers called a Quirk."

"...Now that sounds epic." Ritsuka blinks.

"Eighty-percent." Mash could see in her imagination, many people flying, lifting cars, or moving super-fast."

"That must be a horrible era." Holmes then said out of nowhere.

"Eh?" Guadako gapes at the detective. "Why would having super-powers be a bad thing?" If anything, it sounded awesome. No more relying on Mystic Codes if you asked her.

"I think I understand where Holmes is coming from." Moriaty then says. "What he means is, its doubtful such power came without consequence."

"Indeed." Merlin nods to himself. "In the beginning of Magecraft, before secrecy, Magus used their power without hesitation. And not always for the betterment of man."

"Not wrong there." Medea thinks back to the Greek Times, where mad men and tyrants used and hoarded their power without care. "If anything, if such a thing happened in the modern era, then surely consequences will come."

"Correct." The Voice confirms. "There were problems in the early stages, and there are still problems now. But in the current time things have settled down." Until Tomura enacted his plan early with Gigantomachia destroying a bunch of cities and countless dead. But these guys didn't need to hear that. Because that's hella depressing. Such anticipation.

"Ahem. Regardless," The Voice continued on. "While there are still problems, naturally as one would expect, in a world of power to groups are formed." Pictures of two men showed up. One with a muscular build and a grinning smile and another with a dark mask and black suit. "Heroes...and Villains." Both Ritsuka and Guadako had stars in their eyes, with Mash looking rather interested. Having heard tales of these from Roman and these comics she heard about.

"A bit black and white," EMIYA Archer mutters before shrugging. "But I suppose it makes sense."

"I just wanna see who's worth fighting." Beowulf grinned. He then looked at the images above that the Voice showed. "What about them? ARe they good?"

"Definitely." The Voice chuckled. "While the vast majority of the people in this world have weak Quirks, there are a chosen few with training or plain damn Superpower Lottery that have a Quirk that is OP. Not gonna lie, a few of the heroes or villains here can actually challenge a few of you guys. Even win."

"Now that sounds like a worthy challenge." Gawain smiles. The Voice was in full agreement.

"In the meantime, right now I'll be showing you a scene of two young boys who are trying to be heroes, facing a dude so strong that low-tier Servants will probably lose against them." The Voice then reveals what he'll show them all.

"Trying to be heroes?" Arturia says. "You mean, training of sorts." Like when she chose the sword.

"In this world, there are places where one can train their power and later be good heroes to stop the bad guys." The Voice answers her. "I mean, what do you expect? For them to be vigilant and hope they keep surviving over and over till they get enough experience that they can challenge pros. Because reality says otherwise."

"Not wrong." Edison agrees with the voice. "It's like a person who wants to sell their product, but first has to carefully do it over and over to ensure perfection. Gaining the experience in the meantime."

"Indeed." Atalanta nods. "Not everyone can attack a bandit and hope they win while gaining that battle knowledge. Either one eventually becomes strong enough through such hardships, or dies."

"Enough chatter." Kid Gil then says. "Let's see some action."

"I'm agreeing with Gil here!" Ritsuka smiles, wanting to see this world of superpowers."Lets get on with the show."

"Hai!" Guadako is with them.

"Cool." The Voice gives a non-existent smile. "Then may I present to you, My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising!"

It was a devastation. Here on a simple island, where the people lived normal lives, it had all been ruined when a group came. A group of powerful villains, led by a man called Nine.

Where he brought chaos and horror for the simple people on the island. And were it not for a bunch of brave young students, who were trying to learn to become heroes, they'd have all been killed. Yet now, at this moment in time, the peace and people and even the young students of Class 1-A were facing a threat like no other. Against the man called Nine, who now faced two young teenage boys who glared at him as he walked calmly to them with an exposed chest and purple glowing veins and wings.

Power was what he was.

"Is he...human?" Da Vinci asked, rather unsure who this Nine is. Only that he isn't normal.

"He is indeed." The Voice answered. "And trust me, he ain't a guy you wanna mess with. Just watch for yourself and you'll see why."

"With pleasure." Ritsuka and Guadako say and begin munching on popcorn.

"It's no use." The man Nine then said to the two heroes, Bakugo and Izuku. "You simply don't have enough strength to defeat me. You would not survive the new world I will create."

"What new world?" The green haired youth Izuku asked, before he was soon assaulted by a stream of purple lasers.

"One ruled by power." Nine said as he then aimed his fingers at Bakugo and shot at him with another stream of lasers who just barely dodged. "The strong will lord over the weak in my utopia."

"Same old crap." Bakugo shot back, unamused. In return, two hydra dragon heads then bit into the two and dragged them off. Nine continuing his monologue at them as he held them in his mercy.

"Labels like 'Hero' and 'Villain' won't be necessary." In that moment a vision of Nine's utopia came into mind. One where destruction was at its peak. "Power will be the only factor that matters." Destruction across not just cities, but in the entire world. "That's how a true super human society should be structured."

"Tch." Cu huffed. "I thought that guy might be interesting since he seems strong...but his ideals aren't all that."

"Likewise." Atalanta agreed.

"I'm surprised." Achilles turned toward her. "I thought you were into the whole strong over the weak thing."

"I am." Atalanta confirmed. "The weak die and the strong live. But...I admit, while there is meaning in such a phrase, especially in the wild, if one placed such a thing on society," Atalanta then saw the cities in flames. "The world would be no different than the Incineration of Mankind. Only more bloody."

"She's right." Hans says as he crosses out Nine's name from his 'Interesting Person' list. No longer finding the man of interest. "Such a 'utopia' would only lead to backstabbing, social collapse, and morals being thrown out the window."

"This man's ideals would indeed lead to ruin." Beowulf scoffed. He was a strong man, a warrior. Heck, he's a Berserker and loved to fight...but, power was more than just muscle and fancy ability. He himself made a mighty kingdom and ruled it, and all without using his warriors power unless it was to deal with some monster.

So then, time to see how this ended.

Neither Izuku or Bakugo looked happy with that statement. Izuku then said, "Sounds like something a power-hungry madman would dream up."

"That's never gonna work, moron." Bakugo insulted. The two were then thrashed about as Nine then used his Quirk to slam them into the cliff. Lifting them up like trash like they were nothing.

"If you attempt to get in my way, then you'll have to be eliminated." Nine tells them as he gets ready to end them. While doing so, the two heroes-in-training tried thinking. Thinking of any way to get out of this situation.

'Gotta think.' Izuku thought. 'What would All Might do?'

It then showed flashes of his other friends and allies. Each of them lying on the ground hurt and injured.

'I'm not letting some lunatic beat me.' Bakugo vowed.

Some barley are even able to move at all. If they could.

'Think.' Izuku tried desperately to find a solution. 'Come on.'

All they've done to help Izuku and Bakugo, yet it seems like it was all for nothing.

'I won't lose.' Bakugo tried affirming himself.

'Think!' Izuku shouted mentally at himself.

"The situation their in, certainly isn't good." Mash looked at the two on screen with worry.

"True enough." Chiron narrowed his eyes. "Still though, that man, Nine, was he always that strong." He then looked toward the Voice for answers.

"Kinda." The Voice responds. "Don't be mistaken, he was already absurdly powerful before. But after some...modification, he became stronger with even newer abilities he stole."

"Stole." EMIYA didn't like the sound of that.

"Yeah. Stole. Listen, I won't explain the finer details, just know that because of mad science, this dude got the power to steal other people's Quirks, their powers." Now that was a cause of alarm. Literally. The ability to steal abilities.

'Just imagine if someone had that kind of power.' Guadako gulped.

'Oh man. Hopefully those two can somehow escape from this.' Ritsuka thought. Nearby, the Servants who prayed to their respective Gods like Jeanne or Sanzang prayed for those two. Because they needed a miracle to escape this man's clutches.

As the two were near despair, feeling they had nothing, it was then they heard something.

"Mr. Deku. Bakugo" No, not something, someone! Looking down, the two then saw two kids. One of them being the very target for Nine. Both then looked at Bakugo and Izuku as they wished to tell them one thing with tears. With all their heart shouting, "We believe in you! Please don't give up!"

At that, many heroes of the Good Aligned then smiled. It seems things were about to change.

Smiling, Nine then saw the boy. "There you are."

"Why does he want that boy?" Atalanta growled.

"Because he has a Quirk to help Nine." The Voice tells her and the others. "Lets just say that he's so powerful, that his body can't handle the strain."

"Meaning he wishes to steal this boy's Quirk to remedy that." Nightingale guessed correctly.

"Well, not if those two youngsters have anything to say about it." Moriaty says.

Bakugo looked down, a bit of motivation in him. Yet still he didn't know what to do. "Kacchan." He then heard a voice, Izuku. Turning, he saw his rival slowly look and speak. "I've got a crazy idea. There's only one way we can stop him."

Bakugo's eyes widened. Knowing what Izuku meant.

It's then, the voice of All Might, one of the greatest heroes ever could then be heard as Izuku slowly held his hand toward Bakugo.

"I wasn't born with this power. It's a sacred torch that was passed on to me from someone else.' Bakugo watched as the hand got closer."I can transfer my Quirk to another." He then relented, knowing that for all his protest, he had to do this. With Izuku also pleading.

"Please, Kacchan."

"You were right." The voice of All Might continues saying. Where it then flashes to a villain in black with a disfigured face, and none other than the man himself, All Might facing him. "A hero has so much to protect in this world." His blue eyes glowing as even in his distorted form, All Might smiled. "Which is why...I will defeat you."

'Stupid ideals.' EMIYA Archer thought. Yet without knowing it, a small smile came onto his face. As a part of his mind went back to what started his path. One with hardship and horror...and what he once appreciated, even now.

"Deku." Bakugo weakly says as he then stretches his hand, to meet Izuku's own.

"A real hero," A flashback then shows All Might battling a monstrosity. His fists clashing as he kept on going, never once giving in. "will always find a way for justice to be served!"

Izuku then focused on his rival, his friend. A small cut in his finger thinking, 'A way to protect them.'

'A way to victory.' Bakugo thought at the same time.

Where then, the two then thought one last thing, as their fingers touched. 'There is no other choice!'

Then like that, they touched. Their hands then clamping on the other, where unknown to all, a transfer happened. One that would be their path to victory against Nine. One that acted immediately as the constructs that held them then broke apart with Nine noticing this.

"What." He then says as he watches the dust clear, and the two teens he had captured slowly standing. Baffled by how it even happened.

"After this," Bakugo then slowly says, standing. "Will you still be able to use your power?"

"I don't know." Izuku admits. "But..."

A memory then shows a distorted and harmed man, yet stood tall with a smile as he refused to give up.

"...All Might was able to protect us with its embers." Izuku slowly clenched his fist. "Even after he passed the Quirk onto me."

"What did you do?" Nine demands, as he becomes frustrated how the two boys even escaped. Purple energy flying out of his hands. The only answer he got were the two boys saying one thing.

"With double One For All…" Nine then sees the boys change. Their eyes becoming something else with determination, with their hair glowing as both then gave out their statements.

"...we'll save everyone!" Izuku yells.

"...we'll beat you and win!" Bakugo declares. Both of them radiate their own energy. Both young teens then stood against Nine who could only grit his teeth and roar in anger.

"Why won't you weaklings die already?!" Then using his original Quirk, Nine flies in the air and summons a tornado of flames with lightning striking all over, destroying the landscape. The children covering a young man's body who helped them while avoiding the dust and rocks thrown around, while Izuku and Bakugo then witness the massive storm brewing over their heads. Knowing this will the final stand.

"Final stand!" Gudako then shivers a bit. "They're facing a damn tornado! One that's somehow covered in flames."

"If it weren't for the fact that they might die, I would think that move is cool." Ritsuka admits.

"I...I expect something like this from a Servant," Mash then says, as she sees this man called Nine summon his tornado. "But from a regular man, even one with this Quirk…"

"Goes to show that there are some interesting people outside our world I guess." Cu chuckles. "I like it."

"Like!" Illya shakes. "There aren't many Servants that can even create a scary storm like that!"

"If the dude summoning it wasn't such a killjoy, I'd say it's golden!" Sakata Kintoki Berserker says. "Though I'm more impressed by those two guys. Not a lot of people who could face a storm with nothing but their fists instead of running."

"They are brave." Kojiro gives his approval. "I'm just waiting to see what they do to defeat this man."

"Trust me." The Voice then says. "What's about to happen next will knock your socks off."

"Challenge accepted." Billy grins.

"This is the end of your dream, Deku." Bakugo tells his rival as the storm grows bigger and the rain falls onto them. "You're gonna be Quirkless again."

"But that's fine. I have to do this." Izuku comments as the storm grows even bigger, as it envelopes beyond their area and everything around them starts falling apart with nothing being safe anymore. "I'm sure that All Might would agree, since you're the one I gave it to. You knew about our secret and kept it to yourself. We've always tried to be the same hero. So if it's you..."

In the distant past, it shows a younger Bakugo who smiles at the screen showing All Might. "All Mights awesome! He's crazy strong!"

Bakugo clenches his fist which soon begins glowing.

Izuku watches the same scene as a kid, and while sad still manages to say, "Even when things seem impossible, he never gives up."

Izuku's own fist begins glowing.

The storm is now so big, it envelops all with tornadoes and winds everywhere across the eye can see.

"No matter what bad guys are in front of him, in the end…"

"He always wins!" Bakugo roars.

"No matter what trouble is in his way, he always…"

"Saves everyone with a smile!" Izuku grins.

As for Nine, he has had enough and raises his hands in the air, calling upon his power to kill the two boys in front of him. The storm responds as he then calls upon a tornado to kill them and everyone on this flaming island shouting, "You'll never defeat me!"

In turn, Bakugo and Izuku join together with their hands ready and yell out one thing together. "Detroit Smash!"

Where as they throw their fists in the air with all their might, a great wind escapes from them. So strong, it destroys the ground around them and flies in the air in the form of some type of wind beam of colors. Where it soon meets the raging storm Nine had called head on and smashes against it.

Bakugo and Izuku roar together as their power then begins merging with the storm as if it were in a competition. Both powers of hero and villain struggling and spinning, producing a beautiful glow that just couldn't be described. As the two powers clash, at long last a victor emerges.

Nine's power lost, as an explosion of light decimated the storm above and every single tornado in the surrounding area. The wind at the center pushing the darkness away where the two young children then look up at the sky, where both their eyes are in awe. For in the center of the blast now reveals a beautiful blue sky, as if showing a new hope. Hope that frightens Nine as he stares at the wonderful blue in horror.

"...No way." Ritsuka has the same wonder in his eyes as the kids on screen.

"That's...that's amazing." Gudako smiles.

"Beautiful." Is all Mash says.

"What in the-they...they punched away that massive storm." Ishtar could do the same if she's being honest, but this was different. While not all of them could do it, certain Servants can brag they could do the same as those two boys using their powers as Heroic Spirits. Yet it felt different as these two, Izuku and Bakugo, were just humans.

Sure the voice stated that they had these powers called Quirks to help, but by no means did they believe that was impressive. After all, they could do many wonderful things that humans couldn't. As such, many were shocked or outright amazed at what they just witnessed.

"Just what are those two other than incredible!" Shakespeare gains even more inspiration. "Two boys against a storm, and in a clash of fists they win!"

"A bit cliché honestly." Hans shrugs it off. "...but I suppose clichés are fine now and then."

"I know the Voice mentioned that the humans of this realm had power…" Holmes trailed off, with Moriaty then chiming in.

"But not this much."

"To be fair," The Voice then speaks up. "The power the two currently possess is very unique even among other Quirks."

"What kind exactly?" EMIYA Archer asks, also just as amazed by what he saw. Not even his past self could do anything as impressive as punching a storm away.

"It's called One For All." The Voice tells them. "In a sense, it's eerily similar to magical crests, as unlike other Quirks it can pass itself down to another. However, each generation it passes onto allows it to cultivate, grow, becoming stronger for every hand that touches it."

"Thus allowing miracles of sorts to happen." Merlin smiles. "A power that can accomplish much in the right hands."

"It's more amazing than regular Crests." Because as far as Achilles can tell, magic Crests don't punch out a storm.

"And now watch as these two finish it all against one of the most dangerous men alive." The Voice loved that part of the world (film).

"No. They couldn't." Nine then looks back at the boys under the eternal yellow light, wondering how simple punches could do this to his power. "What is this power?"

As for Bakugo and Izuku, both were now heavily injured. Their arms they used to send that wind at the storm damaged and purple. Even then though, they both pushed through it to look at Nine with defiance in their eyes.

Growling, Nine then called upon more of his power as the purple veins on him enlarged. "I won't let you block my path. Never."

"This is it." Chloe gets a video recorder.

"The finale." Scathach wishes to see this to the very end.

"Now this is one story I don't mind seeing unfold." Merlin agrees.

Katsuki groans as he holds his damaged limb. Not used to it like Izuku who says, "Kacchan, let's go."

"I thought I told you not to give me orders." He shoots back as the both then run, run to finish this battle.

As for Nine, he has had enough of this. All of it. As he flies in the air with his wings glowing brighter, he only shouts one thing at them. "Don't get in my way!"

Then from behind, countless dragon heads come out to kill them all. All of them aimed at Bakugo who used his Quirk Explosion and the power of One For All to avoid them. Those that got near were disintegrated to ash as he kept charging without fear. Not letting a single one bite him and never stopped once. It wasn't long before the young hero destroyed them all with his own attack.

This allowed Izuku to strike back and try to kick the villain who dodged it on time. He then tried killing him with his fingertips by having them shoot deadly energy at him. Each one aimed to kill, forcing Izuku to dodge with all his might. Not letting up and ignoring the pain and fatigue to keep going to ensure not a single laser got to him.

Bakugo used this chance to attack as he propelled himself with an explosion. Where he then sent a massive attack at the villain that reduced the ground around them all. Nine is sent flying, grabbing his injured arm from the attack. Though Bakugo himself didn't fare better as he fell down into one of the massive holes he made and slid down in it.

However, while Izuku was busy charging his own power, Bakugo then got back up and began moving. Grabbing the earth around him and heating it up with his power. Walking as he melted the surrounding ground until he then launched a massive piece of rubble at Nine while everything else melted or blew up.

The rubble moved fast, and Nine quickly used one of his abilities to conjure a massive shield that protected him. The rubble was destroyed and sent a shockwave that sent Bakugo away. Yet the attack wasn't in vain, as Izuku came after using the time Bakugo bought him.

At full speed and surrounded by energy, with his full power Izuku rushed at Nine. Perfectly avoiding any obstacle from the ruined ground and then spun as fast as he could when he launched himself at Nine. The Villain quickly summoning his shield, and multiple ones at that. Izuku kept going though until he slammed into the barriers at such speed and power, that all of them broke and caused a great light to shine.

The backlash sent both Nine and Izuku crashing into either the ground or cliff. Both feeling the after effect of their powers and in pain. Nine the most though as even when falling down toward the ocean with countless pieces of rubble, his body slowly began hitting his limit. His power overwhelming him, yet he ignored it and used what he had to propel himself forward intending to still fight.

The same being said for both Izuku and Bakugo who then jumped off a cliff and went to meet Nine head on. Seeing them Nine came at them with the two heroes doing the same.

For Izuku though, he could then feel it. His power lingering away. Since he gave it to Bakugo, he only had the 'leftover' power remaining which was now vanishing. The flaming embers slowly vanishing as he went to deal with Nine once and for all.

'This is it. The last one.' He thought. 'It's over now. This is my final smash.'

Bakugo got ready to use his power, with Izuku's foot ready to do the deed. Then as Nine came at them, Izuku slammed his foot in the villain's face. As Nine is sent away, Bakugo finished it by sending a massive Explosion that would cover a small chunk of the tiny island they were on, making certain the villain won't come back.

As the sun shined through the storm, Izuku slowly closed his eyes. Feeling the embers of One For All vanish away. 'Goodbye, One For All. Thank you.'

The two boys then fell to the earth below, with their job...done.

"Wait...what!" Gudako then yells as the screen glows back. "So that kid, Izuku...he saves the day and loses his power! How is that fair!"

"It isn't." EMIYA Archer then looks at her. "However he accepted the sacrifice when it came to that human, Nine. While I don't know all the details of this Quirk, it was clearly a necessary loss to defeat that man."

"Yeah...but…" Ritsuka wasn't sure how to feel about this. The fight had been epic, yet it felt like when he and his sister went back to Chaldea, the Servants they met in Singularities then went. 'But at least we can summon them again.'

"Oh. don't worry about the kid's power." The Voice then says. "The Quirk he has is very strange if I'm being honest, and thanks to some miracle he regained it."

"Wait, really?" Mash looks at the invisible Voice.

"Yeah, really." The Voice complies. "Like I said, the Quirk One For All is very unique, even among other powers. It does more than just stockpile power that can be passed onto. In some ways, it's alive."

"Alive." Da Vinci narrows her eyes while smiling. "Now that does sound interesting. I don't suppose you can give more details."

"Nope." Da Vinci pouted at that. "Regardless, I hope you were all impressed with the fight."

"It was definitely incredible in many ways." Arturia enjoyed how the two boys found the will to keep moving, even when they're bodies were injured gravley.

"Gotta admit, for humans they did pretty well." Jeanne (Alter) acknowledges the humans from that dimension. A lot better than the whiners and magus in this world. "Still though, while amazing, can the humans of this world really take on Servants."

"Considering how they have powers that can summon dragons, punch a storm, and move faster than a jet, I'd say yes." Achilles says.

"It's a so-so if I'm being honest." The Voice answers. "To be fair, you guys-aside from the Masters, because you guys are weak without Servants or Mystic Codes," Ritsuka and Gudako frowned yet couldn't deny that. They'd be screwed if they faced Nine, even with codes. "Would be capable of crushing a vast majority of the Quirk Wielders in that world. Like, 95%."

"Not sure if I should have expected that or been amazed." Beowulf rubs his chin.

"Hold up, he said 95%." Atalanta then reminds him. "It's safe to assume the 5% remaining can stop us."

"And beat you." The Voice confirms. "Only the best of the best of that world can defeat even you Servants. From the wielder of One For All to those like Overhaul, Endeavour, All For One Tomura, Gigantomachia, and so on. They are some of the few that can actually challenge and win against you fellows." Not that'd it be easy.

"As fun is that is, what's next now?" Merlin wanted to see who else they could see.

"The next one will be a world actually like the MHA world." The Voice tells them.

"You mean more humans with more powers?" Cu guesses.

"A bit less actually." The Voice explains. "Lets just say this world has fewer heroes, loads more villains, and the world's greatest and worst hero of them all. Who can end it all with One Punch."

I bet you know already which world we're seeing next.
