Chapter 10: What it takes to be a Hero

He did it. All his hard work paid off. After a day full of hardships Midoriya managed to pass the exam and get his provisional hero license. Most of his class did so as well. Satisfied with the results Midoriya returned to the dorms for the day, where he along with his classmates recovered from the hard day.

The next day, after going through their morning routines, the students of Class 1 A attended the assembly that kicked off the second semester. On the way they bumped into Class 1B , Monoma tried to cause a commotion, but Kendo managed to stop him before things got out of hand.

After the assembly ended the students returned to class, where Aizawa introduced them properly to the new semester.

"Okay. Starting today, we'll resume our regular classes and training schedule. I know a lot has happened recently, however you need to switch gears and focus on your school duties. We're lecturing today, but this semester you'll have even harsher training than before." Aizawa informed his students.

"He can't mean that right?" Ashido asked, the first semester had been challenging enough, how could it get more challenging?

Aizawa glared at her, using his quirk to intimidate the student and asked "Care to Share Ashido?"

Tsuyu then raised her hand and said "Uhm, excuse me sir, may I ask a question? What were those things the principal mentioned during the opening ceremony? I've never heard the term 'Hero Work Study' before." She had a firm grasp of what was going on, but she kept wondering what the term could mean and in what context it was being used.

"I was planning to talk more about those at a later date, but I guess telling you now is more logical. To put it simply, its work outside of class, like the internships you did at Pro hero agencies before, only closer to the real thing." Aizawa calmly answered, addressing the questions of his students.

"Wait, then why did we work so hard during the festival!" Ochako asked, screaming after a moment of pondering. She was moving her arms frantically. She worked her butt off during the sports festival, why did she do that if this was a possibility?

"She has a point. If we have work studies, those who weren't scouted at the sports festival still have career paths." Iida added.

"You'll be using your connections from the sports festival to secure a work study. It's basic networking." Aizawa Explained, he was once again answering the questions of his students in a calm fashion. He then started to explain how they work in a bit more detail, informing the students that it's parallel to classwork and that it hasn't been decided if the first years will be allowed to do them.

Once the explanation finished all his duties were done with, so he left the classroom, leaving Present Mic to teach his english class.

Days passed and Aizawa arranged for an introduction to hero work studies for his students. Aizawa stepped into the classroom, the moment he did all the students returned to their seats.

"Morning. I know many of you were very curious about what the work studies entail. So I've arranged for some people who've experienced them firsthand to come and explain them to you." He said. "I suggest you listen carefully, as they explain how work studies differ from internships."

The Big Three stepped into the room, with Aizawa explaining exactly who they were. The class marveled at the students that stood at the top of UA, mumbling amongst themselves about how cool these people in front of them were.

"Get to it, introduce yourselves briefly, let's start with Amajiki." Aizawa ordered, turning to the Big Three. He didn't want to waste any time, the sooner this was over, the better.

The members of the Big Three tried to introduce themselves, but Amajiki was too nervous and Nejire was too curious, both of them ended up throwing the whole conversation off track.

Mirio stepped up to the plate and got the explanation back on track. He suggested a demonstration instead, since he thought it was better to show the students than just telling them. So a fight between Class 1A and him was arranged.

The students changed into their gym clothes and headed to Gym Gamma, the place where the battle would take place.

Since they hadn't acquired their provisional Hero licenses, both Bakugo and Todoroki opted out of the practice fight, this time. This alone put the class at a disadvantage, since they were two of the classes powerhouses.

"Is he for real?" Sero asked, afraid to fight someone so much more powerful than them. In the meantime Mirio started stretching.

"Oh yeah, totes real." Mirio answered. It seemed like he didn't have a care in the world and was taking it easy, but mentally he was preparing for the demonstration.

Amajiki protested the situation, suggesting that they return to the explanation, but was mostly ignored. Nejire on the other hand cautioned restraint and asked him not to hurt the students too much.

"Right. No using One For All then." He thought to himself, while finishing up his stretches. "I should be able to KO them without much trouble, even if I don't use it. Might even get things done easier, since my control isn't fully there yet."

"Now who's gonna start this party?" Mirio asked, taunting the class after a bit of banter between them.

"I'll do it." Midoriya eagerly said, before Kirishima could volunteer. This was one of the highest ranked students in the school. He wanted to prove himself. Prove that he could stand against him.

"Oh, you're the transforming Kid right?" Mirio asked, wanting to confirm. He heard some stories of Midoriya from his mentor, but hadn't actually been able to connect the stories to a person. "This is perfect. I've heard you have plenty of fire in ya." He said after seeing Midoriya nod.

Midoriya opened up the Omnitrix, selecting a transformation. Who should he go for? Brainy? ? Reverb? In the end he made his choice.

"View this as a learning experience. It's a good opportunity for you." Aizawa shouted, his students needed to get better and the faster they did it, the more benefits it'd present.

Midoriya hit the dial. A flash of light emanated from his body covering his surroundings, if only for a second. Once it was gone Midoriya emerged from it as a Vaxasaurian, as Humangasoaur.

"Oh nice. But are we just going to stand around doing nothing, or are we going to get this started?" Mirio asked, refreshing his taunt. Midoriya had finally shown his true form and he was ready to take him down.

Midoriya charged at Mirio, trying to tackle him with the shoulder, but Midoriya just slipped right through his opponent as if he weren't there. It was as if he were some sort of ghost. He hit the concrete wall behind Mirio.

"How fast is he?" Midoriya wondered, looking back, but Mirio hadn't even moved. He was just standing there as if nothing happened.

"Nice try." Mirio said, as long ranged attacks were fired at him.

Midoriya being in the line of fire jumped out of the way, with a stream of acid, a piece of tape and a laser all going through Mirio's face, almost hitting Midoriya. Luckily he was fast enough to react.

"Huh, so his quirk let's things pass through him." Midoriya thought, trying to come up with some sort of way to defeat his opponent. His mind drifted as he remembered that the Tentacle Villain, Vilgax, that captured him in his ghost form. Maybe there was a way to achieve the same results here.

When the smoke caused by the attacks hitting the mountain cleared, Mirio was gone. Moments later he appeared behind Jiro and the other long distance fighters. He stuck Jiro in the gut, with enough force to take her out of the fight due to the pain. He incapacitated her in one attack.

"Wait, how did he get over there?" Midoriya wondered, as he switched his approach to the situation. He hit the Omnitrix, transforming into his Cristalsapien form and shot a powerful energy blast at Mirio, but once again, it just went right through.

"Cool, so he can switch between multiple transformations." Mirio thought after evading the blast, more coming his way. Avoiding those attacks Mirio carefully took down the long distance fighters. Only Midoriya and the short distance fighters were left. He ran back into the ground, intet on taking down Midoriya.

Midoriya saw how Mirio vanished into the ground and started to predict his movements, figuring out where Mirio would pop up next. He hit the Omnitrix again turning into Icewing. As soon as Mirio popped out of the ground Midoriya used his freeze breath, to try and stop Mirio in his tracks.

"He wasn't surprised? He predicted this is where I'd be. Pretty smart." Mirio thought as he phased through the ice attack.

"Watch this! An ultimate move! Blinder thrust eyeball touch!" He shouted, making his hand intangible and moving towards Midoriya's face. Midoriya on instinct made himself intangible. He then realized who he was fighting and thought it might be possible that both of them might touch each other, so to be safe he put his arms in a blocking position. He was right. The attack made impact and Midoiya was sent back, reeling from the impact. It was clear that Mirio hadn't intended to attack with that first fist, because the blow was considerably weaker than expected.

"That was weird." Mirio commented to himself out loud. "I was sure I used my quirk there."

Midoriya wasn't a viable option to take down right now. Taking the others out first and saving Midoriya for last was likely the best course of action. Mirio phased back into the ground, appearing right behind Kirishima and striking him down.

"So he isn't warping." Midoriya thought. "His quirk allows him to go through matter. And it clashes with my own ability. Still, if he wants to defeat me, he's gonna have to touch me, so I can just go with a transformation that can't be touched."

Mirio took down Kirishima, although he was a bit harder to take down than expected. He then moved to the closest opponent, that being Ochako, trying to take her down. Midoriya once again hit the Omnitrix, turning into Acidic. He went after Mirio, trying to turn himself into Mirio's primary opponent. He was stalling, trying to get in his way and give his classmates time to form a strategy or something. Mirio just ignored Midoriya, going after all his classmates first.

Once they were all dealt with Mirio turned his attention back to Midoriya.

"So, what can this one do?" Mirio asked, curious. One was big and strong, the other could shoot energy. How many transformations did Midoriya have?

"You'll see." Midoriya answered, moving towards Mirio, to try and defeat him. If he had given actual information it would've put him at a disadvantage.

Seeing Midoriya approach and thinking him a simple opponent that looked to be made of liquid, Mirio just punched him. His arm went through Midoriya and he flinched as a burning sensation invaded his arm. He phased his arm and pulled it back.

"Is he made of Acid?" Mirio wondered, still feeling as if his arm was on fire. "Okay, I'll have to work around this. One for all is my only option."

Mirio activated his second quirk, focusing his energy on his arm, as he felt the power curse through him. He didn't want to use too much power or send his normal quirk out of control so he focused as much as he could. Not phasing, just running. He rushed at Midoriya ready to punch him. The windpresure would do the work for him.

Seconds before the blow could make impact the Omnitrix timed out and Midoirya found himself back in his human form, falling back down to the ground from a meter in the air.

It was an unexpected development. Mirio couldn't hit him now, the damage could be too severe. He let go of the power, activating his normal quirk instead. It was a close call.

He phased back into the ground and sprung back up in front of Midoriya, striking him in the gut, just as Midoriya was getting ready to fight in his human form.

"Good Job, transforming kid, you almost made me use my trump card." Mirio said, smiling at the boy as his whole class layed defeated around him. Still Midoriya had been complimented by his upperclassman, that was a positive.

After the fight ended Mirio explained his quirk and how weak it actually was. He told Class 1A how he managed to make it strong thanks to experience, which he acquired in his work study. The speech he gave ended up inspiring many of the students.

The demonstration ended, so Nejire, Amajiki and Mirio left, with Mirio thinking about introducing Midoriya to Sir Nighteye. With such a powerful and versatile quirk he had a lot of potential as a hero, especially if he could predict his opponents moves.

Days passed. Back in the Class 1A classroom Aizawa informed his students that the school had allowed them to do hero work studies if they so choose, but only if they did them under specific agencies with proven track records.

The day after the announcement was a day off, which Midoriya spent studying and training. In the afternoon he decided to hang out in the common area with his friends. He wondered where to do the work study. The plumbers were too unknown for UA to allow Midoriya to work with them, so he'd have to find an alternative solution.

As they hung out Aizawa walked into the room. He informed Tokoyami that he got an offer to do his workplace study with Hawks, an offer which Tokoyami promptly accepted.

"Also Kirishima apparently Amajiki from the Big Three wants to talk to you about something. Uraraka and Asui, you've got your own Big Three summons from Hado. And so do you Midoriya, Mirio wants to talk to you. You can all track them down some time tomorrow or whatever. That's all for now." Aizawa informed, before leaving the students to their own devices.

"Amajiki? That's crazy. I wonder what he wants." Kirishima said. He really had no idea, it made little sense to him.

"Yeah, what business would Mirio have to talk to me." Midoriya added, confused as to the situation himself.

"Considering the timing. It could be about the work study program." Tsuyu reasoned. If that was the case, then it could prove to be an interesting experience for all of them.

"No way. That'd be too good to be true. Right?" Ochako asked.

"I have to wait until tomorrow? Nope. I'm going over to the third dorms year right now." Kirishima said impatiently.

"I don't think I can wait either. Ribbit." Tsuyu commented. "Let's go with him."

"Yeah." Uraraka said.

"If you're all going, then I'll join you." Midoriya added, getting up from his seat and following his classmates. If Tsuyu was right then it'd be a good step forward in his journey.

"Cool man, but doesn't Togata live in a different dorm?" Kirishima asked.

"Yeah, he does. But most of the way is the same, plus going with friends is more enjoyable." Midoriya said with a smile.

The group set off to the third year dorms.

After a few minutes of walking Izuku noticed something, Ochako was wearing his jacket. "Umm... Uraraka, isn't it kind of hot out here? Why are you wearing my old jacket?"

"You see." Ochako started saying, forgetting about the other two that were with them. From her point of view it was just Midoriya and her. "It makes me feel good. Like you are always with me even if you're far away. I don't know why though." She did not regret saying that, but when the realization that Tsuyu and Kirishima were there and heard what she said hit her, she started blushing heavily. An action that Izuku was doing too.

"I think I know why. Ribbit." Tsuyu said, waiting for someone to ask her.

"Why Asu- I mean Tsuyu?" Izuku asked.

"I think she likes you." Tsuyu stated. Both Izuku and Ochako blushed so hard their faced looked as red as Kirishima's hair. If making them blush was the objective, then the mission had been a success.

Even though they were not very close to the 3rd year dorms Izuku decided to activate the omnitrix, turning into his Aerophibian form. The moment the flash of light dissipated he just flew away.

"I expected some reaction. Ribbit. But not this." Tsuyu commented. Ochako covered her face, making herself float on accident, while blushing heavily.

"You ok Ochako? Ochako?" Tsuyu asked, looking up only to see her friend floating away.

"I think you should help her down." Kirishima said, while trying to hold in the laughter. The situation was so pure and ended in such a comedic way he could hardly contain himself. Ashido would've loved to see this.

Once Midoriya arrived at the 3B dorm building he asked for Mirio, but he wasn't there. Instead of meeting his upperclassman there, Midoriya was directed to the teachers lounge. Apparently Mirio was speaking with All Might or something. Wanting to get this all sorted out as soon as possible Midoriya jogged to the main UA building.

"Hey, it's Transformers Kid." Mirio said after Midoriya entered the room.

"Young Midoriya it's you. I did not expect to see you. Come in." All Might said, seeing Midoriya at the other side of the door. Midoriya stiffly and nervously accepted the invitation. He may be in a different form, but that was still All Might, his favorite hero. He was inviting him to sit with him and have some tea.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but I was told that Mirio wanted to talk to me." Midoriya commented after taking a moment to combat the nervousness.

"Come, take a seat." All Might suggested, while pouring a cup of tea for Midoriya. Nervously Midoriya sat on the couch next to Mirio and accepted the cup of tea when All Might handed it to him.

Silence filled the room.

"Young Midoriya do you know why you're here?" All Might asked, breaking the silence.

"Uhm, I have some idea. I think it has something to do with the work study program, but what I don't understand is why you're here All Might." Midoriya answered.

"It's just a coincidence, but a fortunate one. Tell me, what do you know about ." All Might asked.

Midoriya's face lit up, as he started listing all the facts he knew about Nighteye and his agency.

"As expected you know a lot." All Might said, interrupting Midoriya somewhere along the line. "As I told you before, I see a lot of potential in you, so a couple weeks ago I mentioned you to him. He didn't give it much thought at the time, but when my prodigee Mirio mentioned you, he seemed to be interested."

It took a couple moments for Midoriya to put the pieces together in his head. "Wait, are you telling me that-?" Midoriya started asking.

"That Sir wants to meet with you and interview you for a position at his agency." Mirio completed, cutting off Midoriya.

"That's of course if you want to, Young Midoriya." All Might added, smiling at the boy.

"Yes, absolutely, it'd be a great opportunity to learn under your old sidekick All Might." Midoriya answered. He wasn't under All Might's direct tutelage, but this was close enough. Learning from someone who worked so closely with the symbol of peace could prove very beneficial for him.

"Well, let's focus on the interview first okay?" Mirio asked, while throwing Midoriya another smile.

"Sure." Midoriya said, with an overserious expression.

"Great, then talk to your teachers and tell me tomorrow when we can set this up." Mirio said. The Kid had a great quirk and a great brain to use it with, with Sir's direction he was sure that Midoriya would turn out great.

After finishing his tea with his upperclassman and favorite teacher, Midoriya returned to the dorms.

Days later Mirio took Midoriya to meet with Sir Nighteye. They rode a train for about an hour and then walked for a bit, arriving at the hero's agency in no time. Once there Mirio started to guide Midoriya through the building, taking him to Sir Nighteye's office.

"I'm only here to introduce you, it's the best I can do. I wish I could do more. From here on out there's one crucial thing for you to do. You have to make him laugh. Then he'll totally approve of you." Mirio informed on the way over.

"Hold on what do you mean?" Midoriya asked, confused. "Sir. Nighteye is a very serious person. He's demanding on both others and himself, I don't see how making him laugh will help much."

"That is true, he is very stern, but he really values humor for some reason. It's like Irony or something, I think." Mirio responded as they reached the office.

Midoriya opened the door to the office and both students walked in.

"Heyo, I brought that first year dude I mentioned a couple days ago." Mirio informed, walking into the room.

Upon seeing them enter Nighteye glared in Midoriya's direction with a piercing gaze. It was scary, it was intimidating, it was exactly what Izuku expected. It was like he'd seen on TV. Mirio's suggestion rang through his head. He had to make Nighteye laugh.

He couldn't come up with anything. He was never good at witty remarks or jokes, so he did the first thing he could think of. He made an All Might impresion. This fact enraged Nighteye, who was an avid fan of All Might. He was outraged that such an inaccurate impression was made, but Izuku clarified the situation explaining what incident the impression was based on. The level of All Might knowledge impresses Nighteye and they end up chatting about All Might for a little bit.

"Let me get this straight. You want to do a work study here, because you think doing so will make you stronger?" Nighteye asked, after the conversation changed from All Might to the hero work studies. "We'd need to draw up a contract and-"

"Yes of course. I've brought one." Midoriya said, interrupting Nighteye, while pulling the contract from his backpack.

"You will not interrupt me while I'm speaking to you." Nighteye said, with a stern expression. It was so annoying when people interrupted him.

"Sorry sir." Midoriya responded, bowing slightly to the hero.

"Once I stamp this document you'll officially be contracted with my agency for a work study." Nighteye informed. "You have to understand that this will be nothing like the week long internships that you students take on so casually. You must work here for a minimum of 4 months and will be paid wages. However your academic responsibilities will likely suffer due to absences you rack up. Which means your classmates will likely pull ahead of you."

"I understand that, but I won't let it stop me. This experience will surely help me more in the long run. There's so much I need to learn and get better at. I think the best way of doing that is in the field. This way I can start helping people and protecting them a lot sooner." Midoriya responded. He felt that some people were starting to pull ahead of him. Sure he had the most versatility power out of everyone, but students like Todoroki had the power and accuracy you could only get from years of training and practicing. Midoriya had too many transformations to get that level of skill quickly.

Nighteye grabbed his seal and slammed it, deliberately adjusting the trajectory, so that it wouldn't stamp the paper itself, but instead hit the table.

"Um, you missed Sir." Midoriya said.

"That's because I don't approve of this." Nighteye responded.

"I don't understand. I thought All MIght and Mirio recommended me to you and that I'd get the workplace study." Izuku said. Had he been too arrogant. He had made an assumption he shouldn't have. That was a mistake he couldn't afford to make.

"You think things will come so easy to you? Are you really so naive?" Nighteye asked. "You have to show your worth! Just words from All Might and Mirio, tell me nothing of you. Of who YOU are. This office already runs smoothly with two sidekicks and one work study student. What need do I have to add you to the agency? How and what can you contribute to society? How can you be useful to others? If you want this position, no if you want anybody to acknowledge you, then you must be able to answer these questions unequivocally. All Might showed his worth by using his power and humor. He brought hope to people who previously lived in fear. That's why people were so happy to acknowledge him. To show your worth, you must use actions, not words."

Nighteye left a moment for the words to sink in.

"Three Minutes." He continued. "You have 3 minutes to take this stamp from me. If you want to work as a hero under my guidance then stamp the contract yourself."

"Wait, what?" Midoriya asked, a confused expression plastered on his face. He wasn't sure of what was happening.

"I'm saying that I'm giving you a chance to show your worth. Make no mistake, this is only because All Might recommended you." Nighteye clarified. He then turned to his employee that were still in the room. "Mirio, leave now. Go ask Bubble Girl about the details of your next patrol."

"Yes, sir!" Mirio answered, leaving the room.

"During the three minutes. I'll take no offensive measures against you. You're welcome to attack me in any manner you desire. You needn't concern yourself with what happens to the room either. Just come at me with everything you've got and take the stamp." He said, further explaining the rules of the encounter.

"Nighteye's quirk is foresight, meaning he already knows every move I'm gonna do before I actually do it. The room doesn't seem big enough for Humungosaur, so he's out. My best bet is likely overwhelming him with numbers. Reverb is my best bet." Midoriya thought, opening up the omnitrix. The timer officially started and Midoriya transformed into a Sonorosian.

"So the transforming boy finally shows his true form." Nighteye commented, while activating his quirk. "I see you plan to overwhelm me with numbers. Too bad that won't work."

Midoriya split up a couple times, creating numerous copies of himself. He jumped at Nighteye over and over, trying to take the stamp, but using the 13 copies of himself didn't seem to work.

"Just jumping to grab it won't do the trick, I have to strategize." He thought, trying to grab onto Nighteye's leg with a couple copies. But Nighteye seeing the attack coming avoided the attempts at restraint as well.

"Not a bad strategy, but you'll fail no matter what you try." Nighteye taunted.

Midoriya prepared for a sonic attack, breathing in, but before he could unleash it, Nighteye moved out of the way, positioning the fight in such a way that Midoriya would hit himself.

"If I can't beat you with numbers, then I'll try another strategy." Midoriya said. He wasn't sure what to try, but had an idea of something he could do. He transformed into an arachnichimp.

"So you have more up your sleeve than just one transformation, still I doubt this form will fare any better against me than the previous one." Nighteye taunted, trying to keep his opponent off balance.

Midoriya kept a cool head and kept shooting webs at Nighteye, trying to capture him, but Nighteye kept evading, so he missed every time.

After a while of trying, Midoriya realized that the job as Spider-Monkey was done, so he switched into his Crystalsapien form.

"You've wasted a whole minute as the monkey, dirtying up my office without getting any closer to taking the stamp. I hope you'll do better as this one, since you only have a little over a minute left." Nighteye taunted again. So far he was unimpressed with how the boy was using his transformations. It was an amazing power, but it was used in such an amature way. The boy just kept attacking from the front.

As Crystal Midoriya started repeatedly shooting energy beams at Nighteye, but the hero just kept dodging them, seeing them coming from miles away. After dodging 7 blasts, he stepped on something, something gooey, something strange.

"Checkmate." Midoriya commented, smiling at himself. Now all he had to do was take the stamp.

"You may have me trapped, but that doesn't mean you've won." Nighteye responded

Midoriya transformed again turning into Reverb. He multiplied a couple times and overwhelmed Nighteye with numbers. Nighteye wasn't allowed to fight back and he could barely dodge, so it was easy to climb up his arm and grab the stamp.

Two seconds left on the clock, Midoriya finally managed to take the seal and stamped his permission slip.

"So he took advantage of the fact that I've only been looking a couple seconds ahead and set a trap for me. It seemed like all he was doing were direct attacks, but it was all an elaborate attempt to take the stamp." Nighteye thought inspecting his office. "Not only that. He managed to take the stamp, while avoiding all the All Might memorabilia. This kid has got talent indeed."

"The three minutes are up. Hope I'm not interrupting." Mirio said, coming into the room with Bubble girl, now wearing his hero costume.

"I'll take the boy Mirio." Nighteye said. "He may prove useful."

Nighteye turned to Midoriya and continued speaking "Welcome to the Nighteye agency. Prepare yourself for what's to come, the coming days won't be easy for you."

The way he said it was so intimidating, paralyzing Midoriya with fear for a second. He was only snapped back into reality because the Omnitrix timed out from the rapid transforming.

Having his form stamped, Midoriya went back to the dorms, having secured his hero work study.

Meanwhile lightyears away, on another planet, one called Galvan Prime.

"I've finally done it." Albedo said. Holding up his replica Omnitrix, marveling at it. He was so proud of his accomplishment. The first thinker said it was impossible for him to make one on his own, but he did it. He'd proven him wrong. He was smarter than Azmuth. "I have recreated the Omnimatrix. After weeks of work and adjusting the designs, I'll finally show Azmuth that he was wrong. That having a child be in control of it is a mistake, that someone with the sufficient intellect should be the one to operate the device."

"Although testing the device is a crucial step as well, so I suppose that's my next step." He said to himself, pondering the implications. He had run simulations, done millions of small adjustments and it was complete. There was no way that it could fail now. It took him a long time to make, but he finished it.

Albedo then attached the Omnitrix to himself and activated the dial, selecting a random transformation. A green flash of light enveloped him and the galvan emerged from it as an Aerophibian.

"Eureca, the device works. But the question still stands, will it only work as an aerophibian, or does it actually have the capacity of turning one into every Alien in the listed catalogues?" He asked himself, alone in the room.

He hits the dail again, turning into a Sonorosian, then he turned into a Methanosian, then a Necrofrigian.

"All the transformations seem to work, which means the device is correctly calibrated." He said, setting the Omnitrix to turn him into his default form and activating it once again.

Another flash of light emanated from his body, once the light dissipated he was left in a human form. He looked exactly like Izuku Midoriya.

"What is this?!" He exclaims, looking at his hands bewildered. Had he made a mistake, a miscalculation. No, his math was perfect. It had to be Azmuth's fault.

There was little to gain in dwelling on how it happened, the real question was how could he fix it?
