Chapter 10
Rubble
The construction crew had come surprisingly, fast to the site of the damaged water tower. Rubble was helping with the rebuilding of the site. By driving one of the cranes the only problem was that a couple of people were blocking the road.
A lot of people.
A lot of angry people.
There was a riot going on.
He could not get all of the details. But from what he could gather. Rocky had broken down the tower and stopped all the fires.
But the public did not agree. they appeared to think that Rocky had done it with bad intentions even though Rocky had saved the town from fires.
He did not know what to believe.
He was angry and he accidentally hit a switch which caused the crane arm to swing to the side and crash into one of the buildings.
Five to be specific.
This angered the crowd, even more, they yelled with fury.
" Now they are trying to reach the rest of our town. "
He jumped out of the crane and ran.
He ran as fast as he could so down the empty alleyways and just when he thought he was safe an arm grabbed him and pulled him down a pothole and closed the top. And then it was dark.
