The Search for Ilyana

The next day has arrived for the Greil Mercenaries and everyone was starting to get over Commander Greil's death. Titania, meanwhile, was outside talking with a merchant convoy that followed them to Gallia. The merchant convoy was run by four people: Muston, Aimee, Daniel, and Jorge. Muston sold weapons like swords, lances, axes, magic and bows, Aimee sold items like vulneraries and elixirs as well as special herbs, Jorge bought weapons from people selling them to him, and Daniel forged weapons for the army, making him the master blacksmith of the Merchant Convoy. Titania wanted the Merchant Convoy to join up with the Greil Mercenaries so that everyone would have a place to store their goods, like food, water, and weapons.

"Thanks, young lady." Muston said. "We would be happy to join up with your mercenary company."

"Oh, yes." Aimee said. "After all, we need help finding someone."

"Really?" Titania asked. "Who in particular?"

"A girl named Ilyana. She travels with us everywhere we go." Daniel said. "We need to find out what happened to her before something happens out there! Daein soldiers, as you know, are all over the place."

"Please." Jorge said. "Will you help us?"

"Sure." Titania replied. "After all, whether its big or small, we can handle them all. Why? We are the Greil Mercenaries, and this is what we do for a living."

"Thank you, young one." Jorge said. He then faced the other members of the Merchant Convoy. "So, who's up for some peanut butter jelly sandwiches?"

Back with the other mercenaries, Ike was looking outside the window. He was watching as Daein soldiers were marching towards Gebal Castle. Knowing that the company would soon be in danger, he quickly gathered all of the Greil Mercenaries and waited for Titania to return. Then, she returned.

"Ike, I spoke with the merchant convoy. They agreed to store all of our goods during extreme battles." Titania said. Ike wasn't paying attention as he was busy counting soldiers. "Um… Ike?"

"Oh, um… sorry, Titania." Ike said. Daein soldiers are outside, and we must defeat them. Why? Did you need something?"

"The merchant convoy I spoke too agreed to hold on to all our goods during battle. I also wanted to tell you that we were requested help from this same people. We will be searching for a girl named Ilyana."

"Really? What does she look like?" Ike asked.

"We don't know. I was just told about her." Titania said.

"Then we have to find her." Ike said. "Come on. Greil Mercenaries, move out!"

The move out began, and everyone readied their weapons against the boys in gray and black. When one Daein soldier was defeated by Titania, she received an elixir, a nice medicine used to cure the mortal of wounds. A second Daein soldier was defeated by Ike, and he received a vulnerary. Then, Ike found a girl with light purple hair and white clothing. That was Ilyana, the mage traveling with the merchant convoy before she was kidnapped by Daein soldiers. Ike asked her if she needed any medicine.

"No, I'm not harmed." Ilyana said. She then asked if her merchant convoy was unharmed by the Daein soldiers.

"No. The ones we found are not harmed in any way, shape or form." Ike said. "But I do not know which merchants you are talking about. I found a girl named Aimee and a man named Muston. Are they the ones?" He later asked.

"Yes! That's them!" Ilyana exclaimed.

"In that case, come with us." Ike said. "We'd better get you inside Gebal Castle before Daein soldiers take it over." Ike said. Ilyana later went inside the castle without any of the Daein soldiers noticing.
