Prophecy: I know it's terrible, but cut me some slack, people! (I tried SO hard to make it better, how does Uncle Rick do it?!)

Eight shall descend into the pit of hell,

Half of unhuman power, reduced to mere mortals.

The broken hero, safely returned,

But at a price to pay worse than death.

~Kronos~

Kronos heard from his spy that the scum that wee his kids were coming to collect his prize.

Kronos wasn't too worried though. He'd played with Jackson enough. He'd let them have their precious hero back.

But Kronos wasn't going to let Jackson go without leaving his mark…

And boy, would he leave a mark.

~Percy~

He'd had enough.

Of the Voice, of the whispers, the torture, everything. Life, if that's what you could call it.

He was done with life.

Why couldn't it just end?

Death is too good for you.

Of course. Not even the torture he endured was good enough for scum like him.

As his Lord came into the room, he was wearing his trademark smirk.

This wouldn't be good.

*Line Break*

"We've caught wind of there being a rescue team coming to get you."

Percy perked slightly. Were they really coming, or was this just another of Kronos' schemes? Did they really care for him?

Tch. (Bakugo anyone? No? Just me? Okay) Of course they're not coming for you. They probably have another problem for you to solve. Because that's all you're good for.

Sigh. The Voice was probably right. It always was.

"So," Kronos continued, instantly capturing Percy's attention once again. "I thought I'd leave a little parting gift. Though I don't suppose we will be parted for long."

Percy was confused, but didn't have a chance to voice his concerns since Krios and Hyperion dragged him out of his cell and into the dreary corridor leading to the Cliff.

The Cliff was where al monsters gathered when there was a special meeting, overseen by Tartarus and run by Kronos.

On the way, Kronos started to monologue. Not that it was unusual. He just loved the sound of his own voice.

"Do you know what day it is, dear boy?"

No. Of course not.

(Don't call me dear)

Because you're such an idiot.

"It's the day of the Blood Moon. But I don't suppose you know what that is."

Percy shook his head slightly.

"Hmm." He looked disappointed, though Percy wasn't sure why.

"The day of the Blood Moon," he continued, "happens just once every millennium. It is when the Blood Moon of Tartarus appears. Against common knowledge, Tartarus does have a moon. But it is black. Pure black, so much so that it is transparent and therefore invisible. But on the day of the Blood Moon, it turns the colour of blood, hence the name. Do you know what also happens the day of the Blood Moon?" he smiled cruelly, the marred features of his face distorting.

"It is a day of rituals."

Percy was then led onto the cliff, only to be met with hisses and jeers from the huge crowd of monstrous beings.

"Do you see?" Kronos called to the crowd. "The hero! And he doesn't even remember his own name!" The monsters laughed as Kronos led Percy over to a slate of blood-red iron on the cliff. Kronos then strapped him to the slate and stabbed him with a knife, enough to draw quite a bit of blood. The blood dropped onto Percy's chest and glowed gold.

"φεγγάρι αίματος του Τάρταρου, με τη δύναμη που επενδύεται σε μένα, τον Κρόνο, τον Άρχοντα του Χρόνου και τον Βασιλιά των Τιτάνων, επενδύω στη σκοτεινή μου ψυχή σε αυτό το καθαρό σώμα και δίνω στον εαυτό μου τη δύναμη των κινήσεων και των σκέψεών του!" he chanted to the sky.

Percy's bloody chest continued to glow, before the blood faded and in its place sat a branding of a golden scythe.

The Symbol of Kronos.

~Sally~

Sally was worried.

What if they failed to get her baby back? or something happened? After all, they were up against Kronos and his army, and the gods would barely be able to use powers.

No.

She couldn't afford to think like that. She had to be positive. She had to believe that Percy would be free.

(But at a price to pay worse than death.)

A/N: So… um… *rubs back of neck awkwardly

I have an excuse reason, I promise!

See, the thing is, after I publish a chapter, I get really bad writers' block for a few days. Then it goes away and I can write.

Really sorry, please don't give up on this story :)

*Translation: Blood moon of Tartarus, with the power invested in me, Kronos, the Lord of Time and the King of the Titans, I hereby invest my dark soul in this pure body and give myself the power of his movements and thoughts! (at least, according to Google Translate)

Mika1303:Yaaaay! You updated! I'm so glad. I love this story so much and I was constantly thinking about it. Please update soon, I need to know more.

Yeah! I'm glad too. See the thing is, I start something with so much motivation then once I start, I lose it all. But I've still got a spark of inspiration, and it's comments like yours that make chapters come out quicker! So thank you! And I'm really going to try and write at least half an hour each day, so maybe, just maybe, I can get a chapter out once every week or so :)))!
