Chapter 10 – Workout with Piper

Jason's POV

We went on our usual path of our morning jog and somehow Piper has managed to make Thalia come with us. With light chatter here are there, we completed our jog. Then we got into Thalia's vehicle and she drove us to the gym with her. The gym is at the second floor, so we took the stairs. Thalia was ahead of us and I was behind Piper. The material of her shorts, which is already tight around his hips are now stretch into its full limit while she took each step. We stepped into the gym. As today is a weekday and it's only around 9 in the morning, gym was quite empty. There were two men in their 50s, walking in the treadmill talking to each other. "30, and that's enough for me,"

"Sure," she smiled. She leaned forward, resting her elbows against the rest. "Piper!" I warned. Because of the machine, which is in front of me, no one can see what's Piper doing and where is her hand.

"Ok then. Don't wait for me because it will take some time for me to finish. You can take my car and head back home," Thalia said.

"How are you getting back home?" I asked.

"I can ask Zoe to drop me back. She is my training partner. She will be here in about 30 minutes," Thalia said.

"Oh, and you can have a shower before you leave," Thalia said winking at us. "There are some fresh clothes on my duffle bag. Also, the car key is there," she added.

"You are prepared for everything," Piper laughed.

"For gym, yes I'm," Thalia said laughing.

I walked towards the treadmills with Piper while Thalia stayed at the lifting section. Piper and I hopped in to two treadmills beside each other and started to walk for a bit. After about 10 minutes, we stopped and headed into showers. We grabbed two towels from Thalia's bag. Piper grabbed my hand and dragged me into a shower stall. We stripped from our drenched clothes and washed ourselves. After that we dried ourselves and put on the fresh clothes Thalia has brought with her. They were just plane wight t-shirts and loose trousers. We went to the lifting area again and Thalia was doing her workout still. We talked to her a bit and left the gym, hopped into Thalia's vehicle, and I drove back towards our apartment. After we arrived, both of us went into Piper's apartment. She dropped our dirty clothes in the washroom and went to kitchen while I stayed in the living room turning the tv on.

"Jase, do you want anything to eat or drink?"

"Only a drink," I replied. She walked with two cans of pepsi and sat beside me in the couch. The Office was playing on the tv as usual.

"So where is Percy and Annabeth actually?" she asked from me.

"Oh, they went to Montauk," I chuckled.

"Why," she asked wondering why I chuckled.

"There is an Atlantice on Montauk. Percy has brought all of us to that place couple of times. But I think today he is taking Annabeth to their private beach villa or something. Percy's parent's personal property. Percy hasn't taken none of us there, saying the place personal," I said to Piper.

"Wow, lucky girl," Piper awed.

"Yeah, Percy is a romantic," I said smiling. "And he is crazy for her,"

"So is Annabeth. She is always serious, only concerning about her education and job-related stuff. But with Percy, she is different, relaxed, and enjoying his company," Piper said.

"Yeah, they are lucky. All of us are lucky," I said looking at her eyes lovingly. She leaned and kissed my lips.

"Any news about Reyna?" she asked.

"Oh yeah, she has messaged that she might be able to come back within two or three days,"

"Ohh it's great to hear that!" Piper squealed and hugged me. I smiled at her.

"You love her already," I said to her.

"Of course, she is family, all six of us,"

"Yeah. I'm really glad all of us ended up being together," I whispered brushing her hair.

"Thalia was quite upset today morning," she said.

"Why?"

"She had dreamed about Reyna. She misses her a lot. It's really hurting her. She poured her heart to me saying how much she loves her and how much she misses her and how much it's hurting to spend the day without her. It's very rare to see Thalia broken like that. I comforted her saying all of us are here for her,"

"Thanks for been there for her," I said to her.

"Always," she whispered. We stayed in silence for couple of minutes.

"Jason?" she asked.

"Hmm?"

"Why you and Thalia are not very close?" she asked.

"Because of our mother," I sighed. "She was an actress, popular one at that time. She caught the attention of my father. They dated for some time. My mother's ego skyrocketed when she was dating my father. She had lot of money from my father, and she became an alcoholic. However, within a year, Thalia was born. Father was not really happy to hear the news. He kept a safe distance between Thalia and mother. It's not because of Thalia, but because of my mother's behavior and attitude. She was addicted to alcohol,"

"Thalia has said some of those things to us," Piper said.

"Father wanted to give another chance for my mother. He thought that if he could be there for her and convince her, she will change back to a good person. So, they married and then I was born. But my mother didn't change. She was worst than before, drunk everyday fighting with father. She left no choice for my father so he divorced her. He took me with him, leaving Thalia with my mother. I got to know that my mother treated Thalia really bad. We could not do anything. Father married my stepmother. My mother went crazy hearing the news. Finally, we got to know that she was killed in an accident, while driving drunk. After that, father took care of Thalia, but kept a distance because my stepmother doesn't like the whole affair between my father and my mother. So, he helped Thalia from distance,"

"Both of you have been gone through a really bad childhood," she said looking at my eyes with concern.

"It's better now. I wanted to meet Thalia. I wanted to meet my older sister and build a good relationship with her. I wanted to apologize to her for leaving her alone with my mother. But I couldn't do it. I felt really guilty, thinking that I got to stay with my father without any trouble while Thalia got abused by our drunk mother. That guilt kept me away from her," I said still feeling regret for my actions.

"Babe, it's not your fault. You have to understand that. Both of you were children. None of you could do anything about the behavior of your parents, of your mother. But now, you have a good chance," Piper said touching my cheek.

"You are with Thalia now. You do not need to feel guilty now. Thalia doesn't have anything against you. She has told us that she really like to meet you and connect with you again, building the sibling bond which both of you couldn't build in your childhood. So, talk with her, ok? She is a tough girl, but sometimes she needs us. She needs you,"

"Thanks Pipes, I will try," I said and kissed her lips with affection.

Piper is very passionate about relationships. She cares about all of us. Today morning, she was there for Thalia, and now, she is with me, easing my mind about the relationship between me and my sister. She listens to us patiently, and she has a way with words to say the best thing in every situation helping us in ways that only she can to. I'm more than lucky to have her in my life. All of us are lucky. I know she will be there for each and every one of us, taking care of us lovingly. I'm a lucky guy to have that kind of kind and understanding person as my girlfriend.

I put my arms around her body, hugging her tightly and leaned down on the sofa. She was on top of me, resting her head on my chest now. I ran my fingers through her brown hair affectionately.

"I love you Pipes," I whispered, kissing her head.

"Love you too Jase," she whispered to my chest.

Without opening my eyes, I tried to feel Piper. She was with me, wasn't she? But I cannot feel her now. So, I opened my eyes slowly. I looked around and I figured that we must have fallen asleep. I looked at my phone. It was 2 30 in the afternoon. There were some messages from Thalia asking about lunch. I stood up and slowly walked towards the dining room and found Thalia and Piper sitting there talking with each other.

"Hey sleepyhead," Piper greeted smiling at me.

"Who knew few hours at gym could worn you out that easily," Thalia teased. I just smiled at them.

"Or… Something else worn you out?" Thalia smirked rising and wiggling her eyebrows at me and Piper. Piper laughed out loud.

"You have to up your game little bro. Build up some stamina," she continued to tease.

"Yeah, I'm really worried about that stamina part with you Thalia," I muttered.

"Why? I'm in my peak physical condition. My stamina is top notch," she said proudly.

"Yeah, that's the exact reason I am worried about. With all your stamina and all the build up in these days, I think we might have to find a new apartment in another building when Reyna is back," I said laughing.

"That's a good comeback babe," Piper said between her loud laughs.

Thalia glared at me and then smirked. "You are correct. We will be fucking like rabbits when we finally meet. For days," she said proudly.

"Too much details sis," I groaned.

"Deal with it," she said sticking her tongue at me.

"Seriously, we will give you one of the apartments only for you two for few days. You need it," Piper said smiling at Thalia.

"You are kidding right?" Thalia asked not believing her.

"No, I'm not," Piper said.

Thalia looked at me for confirmation and I nodded smiling.

"Wow," Thalia said to herself. "I'm going to tell this to Reyna," she said leaving us in the dining room, probably looking for her phone to message or call Reyna.

"That is a good idea Jase," Piper said to me.

"It just came into my mind at that moment, and I'm happy for them," I said smiling. "Did you buy the lunch?"

"No, Thals did. She has messaged us asking about lunch but apparently both of us were asleep,"

"I saw the message when I woke up," I said.

"I woke up few minutes after she has arrived,"

"Have you eaten?"

"No, I waited for you to wake up," she said smiling. I pecked her lips.

"Thalia?"

"She already ate saying she is starving,"

"Let's eat then. Sorry I kept you waiting," I said to her sincerely.

She just pinched my cheek and we started to have our lunch silently. The rest of the day went without any noticeable incidence. I did some of my work in the evening while Piper designed some dresses for her next collection. Thalia had an online meeting with her agency. Around 6 in the evening, Percy messaged us saying that they are staying the night.

"Smooth move," Thalia said laughing when we got his message.

"He didn't plan to stay a night," I said to the girls.

"Perhaps Annabeth must have asked to stay," Piper said.

"I can't picture Annabeth behaving like that, like a lovesick teenage girl," Thalia said smiling.

"According to Percy, that beach villa is one of the most beautiful places for him. If it's true, then Annabeth might have fallen in love with the place," I said.

"Yeah, only with the place," Thalia chuckled sarcastically. We all laughed.

We had a small diner and Thalia went to her room first saying goodnight to us. Piper and I talked a bit in the living room for about another half and hour and then we too headed to Piper's room to have sleep. Earlier we decided not to leave Thalia alone in here. Cuddling my beautiful girlfriend, I drifted into sleep.
