Akame stared into the distance she found herself doing that quite a lot lately, looking over her shoulder she saw Neo walking along the railing nearby with a smile, the News papers have yet to run but father had told them to watch for it and see if there is anything on Leonardo, they found his corpse mangled and strewn around his office, no one else was in the room so they assumed it was Tyrian given the destruction committed to the body
"Neo are you going to come with us to Argus?" Akame asked turning to her, Neo shrugged as she spun and began back the other way "You should make your mind up. I assume we'll be leaving soon." Akame added causing her to drop from the railing and pointed at Akame then at her and finally towards the ground, afterwards she interlocked her fingers "I cant stay, there are more people relying on me then just you." Akame said causing Neo to cross her arms and look at the ground "You don't need to worry about me. I can and will survive. I will return to you... should you choose to stay here." Neo began to glow pink before becoming Roman, then became Akame, a few seconds went by then she returned to herself
"I understand the difficulty you are facing..." Akame said "You are needed here, and I am needed elsewhere, we might have to... break things off."
"Well that's not right either!" Leones' voice came from the stairs as she walked down, walking past Neo she wrapped her arm around her and pulled her along with her "You cant hurt such a sweet lil... Ice cream... girl?" Leone awkwardly said actually looking at Neo for the first time, Neo nodded violently then hugged her, that Caused Akames' eye to twitch, she had no idea why she felt a sudden spike of burning anger in her stomach, walking over she pushed the two apart and spoke
"I am offering her a choice, not making an attempt to hurt her." Akame explained, stepping between the two, Leone hummed at her action
"Are you... jealous?" Leone asked causing Akame to blink a few times
"NO! No... I... no." Akame stumbled scrunching her eyebrow she had no idea why she was feeling this way
"What happened to the cool and stoic Akame I used to know?" Leone questioned wrapping her arms around both her and the ice cream girl, neither one made an attempt to get out, one due to her knowledge, the other because she saw the opportunity to get Akame to react

Qrow sighed, today was his day off... literally. Leone had made a gods damned scheduled he was on the clock Monday through Saturday and he had Sundays to himself... while he was happy about having a schedule he was pissed that it was about his sex life.
Entering Ozpins' room he looked around, Oscar rolled over and let out a hiss of pain
"Doin' okay kid?" he asked pulling up a chair and sitting down
"Yeah... I just... hurt all over." he said earning a chuckle from Qrow
"Yeah, I can tell. You were thrown into the deep end there, but you did pretty good for the hand we were dealt."
"That was mainly Ozpin." he said with a sigh
"Yeah, but you came and fought Leo, you were ready to fight by our sides... but Hazel... he was way out of all your leagues, I'd say we need more of a plan then... walk in and wing it when we take him down." he said causing him to look down a bit
"I... guess you're right... thanks." Oscar thanked with a smile
"No problem. I also wanted to see how you two were doin' so... how you doin'?" he asked earning a sigh from Oscar
"I don't know when I'll be able to walk without my cane." he said reaching over and pulled the object in question into his lap and stared at it
"That's fine. As long as we have the lamp we can wait awhile... just not too long, a couple of weeks at the very most, then we gotta move." Qrow said as he crossed his arms
"So... whats going on between you and... Leone? Was that her name?"
"Yeah, she's my... girlfriend for now."
"Planing on breaking things off?" that earned a laugh from Qrow that went on for a quite a while
"I couldn't even if I wanted to. No she'll probably wanna get married... fuck." he answered then seemed to realize the weight of his words
"That... seems to be-"
"But that's fine... as long as she wants to... I'm okay with this." he said earning a raised eyebrow from Oscar who clearly didn't believe his words
"Okay... maybe not... I'm scare Oz, after what happened with Summer... I would rather not think about someone putting so much faith in me again." Qrow said his worry showing, Oscar felt so far out of his depth right now, but he felt a strong connection with the man in front of him, so he was prepared to do what ever he could to help
"Well... I don't really know what to say, you love her and she loves you... I guess its for the best if you're willing to take that risk." Oscar said causing Qrow to sigh then he chuckle a little
"Yeah... if only it were that easy. I'll let you be kid... just makin' sure you're good." Qrow said as he stood and walked out of the room
"That was... strange." Oscar commented rubbing his eyes
"Qrows always been a bit weird." a new voice came from the doorway, looking over it was Leone, she was leaning on the door frame and smiling at him "Yo." she greeted walking in and sat down where Qrow did, staring at her he was trying to think of something to say without his voice cracking... nothing came to mind
"Eyes up here kid." she said causing his eye to jump to hers
"S- sorry! I mean your-" he began to try and explain but was quieted when Leone raised her hand
"I know how good I look, and thanks to your... active imagination I have quite the window into that head of yours." she commented resting her feet on the bed with a sigh "Anyways I wanted to talk about that dusty old ghost in your head." Leone said with a smile, Oscar suddenly felt a surge of dread when he remembered Akames'... cold disposition
"Okay... I'm ready."
"If you ever want someone to talk to 'bout how rough it's getting, just ask and Big sis'll help make everything better." she commented in a serious tone causing Oscar to do a double take "I know how rough it can be to suffer alone. If I can help you I will."
"Thanks... Leo-" he began but stopped when she held her hand up
"Wrong." she said as she pulled him into a hug, it was a warm and tight hug it felt like when his mother used to hug him... before he moved in with his aunt "Big. Sis." she whispered before releasing him "Anyways I'm gonna go talk with Ruby she also needs big sis' advice. Have fun." she said as she turned and walked out of the room
"Why does she dress like that?" Oscar asked
"I believe Qrow would know the answer... or she just wants attention. But it obvious that she got you to listen to her through such means." Ozpins' voice echoed in his head causing Oscar to blush
"Shut up! It's hard not to stare... I'm only fourteen!" he quickly said trying to wipe the blush off his face

with a sigh Leone dropped down on the couch next to Ruby who looked tired
"Heyyo." Leone greeted, her tone was a bit colder than she was trying to make it
"Hey... so... how do you know Qrow?"
"We murdered people like Esdeath in the empire." Leone answered crossing her arms under her chest "He was also my mate... and he still is, considering I wont let anyone else take him." she added with a grin "But I am willing to share him with others, so long as I get a piece too."
"You know what they say about having your cake and eating it too." Ruby commented earning a giggle from Leone
"Yeah, but I always get what I want. So you can bet that I can do both." she said with a grin "Now instead of talking about how much sex me and Qrow are gonna have before, during, and after we go to Atlas, I wanted to see how you were doin'."
"Fine."
"Alright... now stop lying." Leone said bluntly earning a sigh from Ruby
"Okay fine... I cant figure out who I am... I know who I am with Esdeath... and I've see what that person becomes and I don't want a world where I save no one but myself and Esdeath." Ruby answered
"Well look at it this way; you can either remain the same sadistic persona you were when Esdeath was pounding you every way to Sunday." Leone said causing Ruby to blush at the thought "Or you could forget who you were and start figuring out who you are. You wanna save people, then save people. You wanna be ruthless enough to protect the world from Salem then be as brutal as you need to be. It's easy if you do it for a while, but you need to figure out the difference between Ruby Rose; the girl who wants to be a huntress, and Ruby Rose the huntress." Leone explained causing Rubys' jaw to drop
"What do you see in Qrow?"
"At first; someone who could rail me and wasn't Lubbock or taken. Now; the man who I cheated death for, and I will get my dues."
"So you have no actual reason to like him?"
"He's like Akame, he knows how the world works and I am happy that he can almost... smile when he tries hard enough." Leone added but that got Ruby thinking, she could rarely remember when Qrow would smile with genuine happiness she remember that most of the time he was with Akame, and most recently when he was talking about Leone, she didn't even think he noticed
"So... how'd it feel getting your Teigu?" Leone asked changing the topic
"It felt... cold, the blood was cold, and I could feel it go into my stomach then... worm it's way through my body." Ruby said looking at her hands "I felt it burn it's way through my body until... my blood was replaced with it." she finished exhaling a mist then looked over to Leone "What did it feel like the first time you activated yours?"
"Hmm... have you ever lied out in the sun naked?"
"No... what does that have to do with anything?" Ruby asked scrunching her eyebrow trying to understand
"It felt warm and liberating. A huge shot of adrenaline before getting to do battle." Leone dumbed down as she clenched her fist "Hey Akame?" she called looking over her shoulder
"Yeah." her voice came from the kitchen
"Mind coming here for a minute?" she asked causing Akame to enter the room
"What do you need?"
"When you first... activated? Drew? How does Murasame activate?"
"It activates every time it leaves its sheath." Akame answered looking down at the blade "The first time I drew Murasame and I wasn't in... danger I felt... cold... too many options to... to..." Akame seemed to be at a lose for words
"Choose from?" Ruby asked earning a nod from Akame, she had felt the same way when she touched the lamp, it was cold and she felt that every choice could be followed should she just give in a little to the darkness... it was so very tempting... Very, very, tempting... it took a great amount of effort to resist the darkness but she knew that if she held strong she could... Blinking a few times she looked around, Akame and Leone were gone and she was standing alone in a frozen tundra surrounded by a burning and wrecked train
"YOU LIED TO ME!" she heard herself roar, quickly whipping around she watched as she threw Oscar to the ground
"I- I- I didn't lie! Ozpin did! He- he made me-" he was cut off as a sharp spear of ice that shot through his chest sending blood everywhere he had a horrified look on his face that quickly faded into calm as the light faded from her eyes
"She was right..." Ruby said covering her eyes "She was right, she was right, she was right... I hate it when I'm right." she said wandering off into the mist.
With a roar Qrow slammed his fist into Oscars jaw sending him into a nearby tree
"No one wanted me... I was cursed. I gave my life to you because you gave me a place in this world. I thought I was finally doing some good" Qrow said his body seemed to be shaking with rage
"But you ar-"
"Meeting you... was the worst luck of my life." Qrow finished, he couldn't even look at Oscar.
Grabbing him by the throat Akame stared him dead in the eyes, Oscar grabbed her arm and tried to force her to let go
"Akame! Please its me! Oscar!" he said as she leaved her blade with his throat
"Ozpin can hide behind you if he wants... but once your soul is gone he will have no choice but to come out... if it means anything... I am sorry for what you must endure because he was too cowardly to face his death." Akame said dragging the blade along his throat causing his fighting to stop and his body to fall limp for a few seconds before moving briefly then the blade pierced his heart
"Can we get out of the cold now?" Kurome asked wrapped in a tattered red cloak with a rose pendent, Ruby herself was standing nearby without her cape on, she looked tired
"Yeah... father lead the way." Akame said turning towards the mist as she and Kurome faded away.
"So... that is your grand plan." Esdeaths' voice laughed as she yanked Oscar into the air as he struggled to get her to release him "We have far more in common that I thought." she said smiling at him "We will accomplish great things... a world where me and my dear little Rose will dominate and destroy." Esdeath said with a laugh as she dropped him a collar of ice growing around his neck "And you will be a great asset to me." she added as he opened his mouth but ice grew over his mouth preventing him from speaking "So many great things." she said with a dark laugh dragging him off
Dropping to his knees Oscar covered his ears and began to weep Cinder walked into view but she was different, she had her arm and eye both intact
With a sigh she smiled down at him "The great Ozpin, on his knees, crying." she taunted grabbing him by the hair and pulled him up "I am powerful and you are a sniveling child. The world has changed, Oscar was your name yes?" she asked as Emerald and Mercury walked up both looked battle damaged "I think I have just the place for you... as my pet. Emerald, break his mind." Cinder ordered and took a few more steps then looked down at the snow "Beacon has fallen, Haven has fallen, soon Vacuo will fall... and finally Atlas." she said with a smile "And all in this world will bow to me as their new queen and Salem as their new god." she giggled then faded into mist the mist as they walked off Lamp in hand
Ruby fell covering a large wound on her gut with a growl reaching out to Crescent Rose it was struck with a ball of ice
"You may have beaten me at Beacon but NOW!" Cinder growled kicking the girl causing her to roll over a bit, dropping down onto the girl she froze the girls arms and wrapped her hands around Rubys' throat "Now I want to watch the light fade from your eyes, you destroyed me... hurt my face... now..." Cinder growled in her ear as Ruby began to struggle against her hands and gasp for air "Good girl, fight me, fight harder." Cinder whispered to her as Ruby gasped again this time in fear her eyes rolling back and she stopped struggling, with a smile Cinder pressed down harder until a sickening snap could be heard, rising to her feet she let out a sigh before walking off into the distance.
The white tundra changed to a dark train car, stumbling into the room and dropping to the ground Ruby covered her right eye and began to scream as blood seeped from between her fingers
"FUCK! FUUUCK!" She screamed as tears ran from her other eye, cold laughter came from nearby again entering the area was Cinder spinning a dagger between her fingers
"Please scream like that again, Tyrian and Mercury are having fun finishing off the rest of your little... friends. We have the place to ourselves." she said with a smirk as Ruby crawled away from her, grabbing her ankles she dragged Ruby back towards her, Ruby quickly panicked and tried to get away, suffering a kick to the gut Cinder rolled her onto her back and grabbed her by the throat with a mechanical hand
"How does it feel? Having your EYE STOLE!?" Cinder questioned dropping down on her then grabbed Rubys' right arm and rested it on her knee "But an EYE isn't ENOUGH!" she shouted snapping Rubys arm causing her to roar in pain
"Please stop!" she cried as Cinder rested her head in the crook of Rubys neck with a giggle
"Without me... you are nothing. Remember that." she said ignoring Ruby as she began to violate the girl.

Akame and Leone stared at Ruby who was staring off into space, her eyes had become solid black and she was opening and closing her mouth as though she was talking
"Does this happen often?" Leone asked causing Akame to shake her head
"Go get Ozpin, he may know something, I'll go get father." she ordered and the two began to move leaving the girl in the labyrinth of her mind

She had forgotten how long she had been seeing these scenes, hundreds of times she had watched a train crash, Ozpin get blamed for something by one of half a dozen people or all of them. About a third of the time he was killed, or crushed by guilt, or abandoned in the snow, then some showed Cinder kill her, rape her, or weirdly enough... the most recent ones started showing... crazier scenarios
Oscar was shoved to the ground by Cinder who cocked her arm back
"Cinder, leave him alone." Ruby ordered in an empty tone, the mark of demon's Extract was finally present on her chest, most of the others before she had no mark proving she had Esdeaths' blood in her
"BUT-... you saw what he did! He lied to us!" she shouted "I gave up EVERYTHING for the possibility that I could do something good!" she shouted Ruby smiled at her
"We will find a way to beat her. With or without him." Ruby said as she kissed Cinder on the forehead "Now come on, we have more work to do and sitting out in the cold is doing us no good." she said pulling her up.
Looking around the train passed by and nothing happened, it didn't crash this time... weird.
The train flipped and crashed sending everyone flying from the top of it
"Dammit." Ruby growled pushed a large piece of steel off of her and looked around "Guys?!" she called out she began to walk through the wreckage, there was no response "Anyone?" still nothing, she watched as Ruby searched the wreckage twice only finding the relic and a few broken weapons, she was alone... holding the lamp she spoke
"You win... tell me... where are they?" Ruby asked causing darkness to worm its way from the lamp onto her flesh turning it pure white as it crawled its way all across her body causing everything red to a dark shade of purple, her eyes turned black and the red tips of her hair began to glow purple
"They are dead... or perhaps alive?... it doesn't matter anymore... all that matters... is the thousand truths." she said her voice doubling as an inky blackness grew near her, the black darkness grew to be the same size as her, after it was large enough she stepped into it she vanished a few seconds later it hissed before snapping shut behind her. Ruby to blink a few times
"What the fuck was that?" she asked staring at the wall of the living room, looking around she watched as Leone and Oscar walked in from his room and Qrow and Akame were on either side of her
"What was what?" Qrow asked looking over at the wall, shaking her head Ruby spoke
"It was... something... weird." she answered
"You saw possibilities yes?" Ozpin asked causing Ruby to shake her head
"No... It didn't make any sense... we were on a train. In the middle of nowhere." Ruby said earning a nod from Ozpin
"Qrow how are get getting to Argus?" Ozpin asked turning towards him
"The Argus Limited. It's the fastest way to get there." he said causing Ruby to nod recognizing that they will be taking a train
"So what you saw were possible futures. For some reason you can still use the relics power without the relic... that is... concerning." he said scratching his chin "Did you happen to see something that... was... unnatural to the laws of reality?" he asked causing Ruby to shrug
"Not that I could tell... but quite a few times I saw... Cinder on our side." she said playing with her fingers
"Yes, the relic can show every possible future. From a stutter in a conversation you had when you were four, to you never being born. It can show you everything." he explained as he clearly struggled to keep standing, his body was exhausted so he sat down and sighed, looking to Ruby he held his hand out to her
"Give me your hand." he ordered Akame seemed to be a little suspicious of what was going on and rested her hand on Murasame, reaching out to him Ruby grabbed his hand causing golden lightning began to bounce around his hand each time it bounced onto Rubys' hand purple smoke began to seep from the location it hit, quickly letting go of her the two looked at their hands, grabbing her wrist Ruby hissed in pain, Ozpin just stared at his hand
"I'm... sorry. That must have been excruciating for you too." he said through gritted teeth
"What the hell was that?!" she questioned causing Ozpin to sigh
"The magic that I believe created the relics are opposing forces in reality. The curse that I have is the opposing source to what is currently effecting you. As it turns out the power that created the relic of Knowledge is also effecting you. Just as the power that cursed me most likely created some of the other relics." he explained folding his hands in a calm manner
"Well... does that mean I am cursed?" she asked not wanting to be in a similar state as Ozpin
"Perhaps, I am unsure if you are or not... the best I can offer is aid in trying to find the truth from you visions." he answered scratching his chin

Yang let out a sigh she and Blake were training quite frequently but there always seemed to be tension growing between them
"Yang?" Blake asked dodging back avoiding a powerful strike from the woman who hummed in response "Are you upset with me?" she asked as she rolled out of the way of a shoulder tackle from the woman
"Mad? Why would I be mad at you? For leaving me alone? No of course not." Yang snapped at her, causing Blake to look down a bit "But I know why you did what you did... it was what you thought was right... so I don't blame you, but it'll take a little while for me to stop being angry at you... so have a little patience and stop DODGING!" Yang shouted in frustration as Blake again dodged an attack from her

The evening came and went, later that Night while everyone was preparing to sleep Akame sat awake staring at the wall of her room her arm was throbbing with pain and wouldn't settle down with a sigh she stood only to feel a hand on her uninjured shoulder, looking over to Neo she spoke
"I'm just going for a quick walk..." Akame said causing the girl to release her, exiting the room Akame had her coat draped over her shoulders sitting on the couch she pulled the encrypted note from her coat, she had asked father what he knew about the cipher but even he didn't know anything, so she elected that it was unimportant and given the fact that assassin's stopped coming for her she felt no need to follow the trail that it left, but she needed to talk to someone about it and she knew just who to talk to

The lower floors were near empty, entering the bar for what she hopped was the final time Akame walked up to the table lil miss Malachite was sitting at
"The target you wanted taken out is dead." Akame said and tossed the note on the table "And tell me what you know of this." with a hum miss Malachite looked at the note
"Well... looks to me like a council member wanted to meet with you... most are back stabbing creeps but it looks like you saved his sister. That's a favor that could be quite... lucrative if you called it in right." she said sliding the note back to Akame who stared blankly at her
"I have no need of favors from councilmen, what can you give me for it?" Akame asked earning a hum from the woman
"I could give you the same deal I gave Qrow. Anonymity while in Mistral, and... seven hundred fifty thousand Lien." she said earning a nod from Akame
"Eight hundred thousand, as well as anonymity." she said earning a sigh from the woman who stared at the note for a few moments
"Fine." she said with a nod holding her hand out to the girl which was taken
"I'll wire the money to Qrow. The next time he makes a payment he'll get the money." she said earning a hum from Akame
"If you cheat me on this. There will be nowhere to hide." Akame said turning away and leaving the building

Another week had passed and Oscar had seemed to begin to recover enough to walk around without difficulty but he did keep his cane handy, Akame had yet to open up to anyone, even Qrow she seemed to lock herself away, Neo tried to get her to talk but has made no progress thus far
Qrow walked up to Akame and the two stared at each other, Akame recognized the look in his eyes, she finally understood the final piece of the puzzle that was the man she saw as her father... it was regret, every time she looked into his eyes she wondered what it was, he carried so much regret so much more than anyone she had ever seen
"Can we talk for a minute kid?" Qrow asked causing her to nod

Walking along one of the many platforms that made up the city of Mistral, Akame quietly followed Qrow until they reached the very top of the city, where a small park, it was tiny enough that you could toss a stone from one end to the other without much effort and had one tree and a stone bench, but the view it provided was amazing, walking up to the rail Akame stared off into the distance past the mountains and towards the ocean towards Vale
"This was Summers' favorite spot in Mistral." Qrow said in a somber tone as he sat down on the bench, Akame turned to him and spoke
"How do you know so much about Summer?"
"We went on... almost every mission together, for almost a decade." he said earning a hum from Akame, she knew how near death missions could effect people
"How many times did you have to save each other?" Akame asked as he leaned on his knees with a hum
"It was... pretty uneven... thanks to my semblance... I ended up dragging her out of danger more than she saved me..." he answered earning a nod from Akame
"So how long were you two lovers?"
"About... what? Wait what do you mean?" Qrow quickly questioned earning a nod from Akame
"How long?" she asked again
"Look. What happened back then doesn't matter." Qrow quickly said drinking from his flask "What matters is how you are feeling after what happened I just wanted to know how you are feeling not... past... relations." he said quickly earning a nod from Akame
"I regret every step I have taken sense my sisters death, every breath I have taken, every blink I have made." she said looking down at her damaged arm "It feels like I have done everything wrong... and it seems the empire is no better than before." Akame said turning back to the vision of the sea
"Yeah that got to me too." he said playing with his flask
"Was it really for the best... what we did I mean." she pondered earning a hum from Qrow
"Maybe." he said "But we did what we thought was best." he sighed afterwards "That's all anyone can do." he added as he took a drink
"..." Akame looked like she wanted to say something but instead waited to see if he was going to say anything else
"I understand that you're feeling lost... I felt the same way back then." he said taking another drink "Raven told me 'Be strong because they weren't.' that was the lie she told herself... and for a while I did the same, every breath was a lie... until..." Qrow trailed off seemingly downtrodden by the story
"Summer?" Akame asked earning a nod from Qrow, they were silent for such a long time afterwards before anyone spoke "Is Taiyang Rubys' father?" Akame asked earning a nod from Qrow
"Why do you ask?" he questioned earning a hum from Akame
"She holds nothing similar to him in the slightest. She holds almost everything in common with you. The way she walks and talks included. For one reason or another is a spitting image of you when she is angry, and unlike Yang she doesn't have her fathers temper she has yours." Akame explained "Instead of exploding at the people around her she focuses her anger on the person she believes is causing it." she added earning another nod from Qrow "What about biologically?" she finally asked that caused Qrow to falter, Akame seemed completely obsessed with this, she wanted to know if Ruby was her Cousin... or her Step-Sister.
"It wouldn't matter either way." he avoided causing Akames' eyes to narrow she could guess but she wanted a reason
"Why?" she asked neutrally causing Qrow to sigh
"Can we please drop this?"
"NO!" Akame roared quickly spinning towards him fury burning in her eyes "If there is any way I can atone for my actions then I must take it. There is nothing to drop! There is nothing to avoid! Now answer me!" she shouted shaking with rage, but the fury in her eyes melted to regret while tears of anger and sadness flowed from them, Qrow sighed and covered his eyes before drinking what was left in his flask
"Biologically... I would be considered her father." he said causing Akames' heart to flutter a bit "In actuality... no. By far I am far from a father. She spent most of her life with Tai, and that was for the best. So I stayed the uncle that would show up every few months, bring presents and bent the rules for them." he explained, Akame couldn't understand, he valued family so much yet he chose to be such a small part of his actual daughters' life... she continued to wonder until the thought of his semblance came to mind, he could never lead a life that was normal with such a weight on his shoulders
"How long have you dealt with the guilt of you semblance?" she asked earning a dark chuckle from him
"My whole life. I never had a place in the tribe being the 'cursed child', they wanted to cast me out for my... 'deformity' but Raven elcted to go with me if they did that... so I spent the beginning of my life indebted to Raven, at Beacon I was treated with the same contempt when Raven opened her mouth and told everyone, and in the wilds between Vale and Vacuo I'm known as the 'black bird' it's an old fairy tale 'the black bird that broke fate and cursed a village for centuries.'" he explained in a dark tone, Akame sighed as she leaned on the railing, his life was painful... with faint glimmers of happiness, such as her, Ruby, and Leone

Ruby let out a sigh as she stared off into the distance she felt annoyed and confused, rubbing her eyes she let out another sigh, soon after she sighed she felt herself get yanked into a warm embrace
"Yo." Leones' voice greeted, looking up she saw the woman smiling at her
"Hey... so-"
"Don't worry 'bout any of that shit right now. Just focus on me." Leone said placing her hand on the side of Rubys' head, with a shutter Ruby felt her memories move into order like a stack of papers getting straightened, her memories were together but there were muddled, she was surprised that Leone was able to bring everything back to the forefront of her mind, each memory from her past it from her childhood going to school with a cape too large for her to a few minutes ago
"What... was that?" Ruby asked feeling extremely tired
"I put things back into order, it seems like someone has been messing with that pretty little head of yours, you're gonna be dealing with a bit of exhaustion, oh and you'll be remembering everything... so you might get embarrassed about things that no one else involved remembers." Leone explained running her hand through Rubys' hair
"That's gonna suck." Ruby said earning a laugh from Leone
"Yeah. But now instead of moping around trying to figure out who you are, you can just remember. Then if you're planing on trying to emulate your past self you can have an easier time about it, or you can use it as a base then build your new personally on top of." Leone said pulling Ruby off towards the building "Now stop moping, we got plenty of drinking to do!"
"Wait what? I'm underage!" she quickly said earning a laugh from Leone
"Doesn't matter! You're never too young for some hooch." she laughed out as they entered the house, a place they had all become well accustom to, having spent a long time there, soon they would move on but for now, they could enjoy their short vacation before returning to the bloody war they were determined to win.
A/N I know that this wasn't up to snuff, but I realize now that I fell into the same trap that Miles and Kerry fell into. There was far far far too much to get through with just this, there were many story threads that I wanted to follow and many that I was forced to discard in favor for threads that I needed to follow. If I hadn't done such things each chapter would have been overly bloated with information that would have bogged everything down.
