Summary/disclaimer: time for another chapter of Anodite Attraction. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Ben Ten, Cartoon Network and a few others do.

Fintan looked at Verdona as both Pturbosaurians and Vaxasaurians gathered around the duo.

"I was wondering when you'd show back up." Fintan said while crossing his arms and letting out a sigh. He hated wearing the suit, but he knew it might hurt or even kill the inhabitants of the planet.

His powers were both a blessing to him… And a curse to the rest of the world. One he wished he didn't have to deal with at the moment.

"You're going to wear the suit?" Verdona asked before one of the Pturbosaurians stepped forward.

"We would like to offer you something for helping us." The Pturbosaurian stated as Fintan and Verdona turned to him.

"You really don't need to." Fintan said before cocking his head to the side. "Its just what good people do." Fintan said as the Pturbosaurian cracked a smile.

"You are going to need a ship, Prypiatosian." The bird like alien stated while looking at Verdona. "You are welcome to take one of the ships here. We do not use them for more then parts and shelter." The Pturbosaurian added as he hummed.

"Well, I guess we can't refuse that." Fintan said before Verdona leaned on his shoulder. Fintan looked at Verdona through the visor of the suit. "Seriously?" Fintan questioned Verdona who only hummed and smiled at her Prypiatosian ally.

"Can you give us a few minutes to talk?" Verdona questioned as the aliens nodded and took their leave. They would salvage what they could and destroy the rest. Fintan took what pride he could in ticking off the Techadons at such a juncture.

Verdona waited till the aliens were gone before tapping on the helmet of the suit. Fintan pulled open the top of the suit and climbed out.

"I hate this thing." Fintan said before cracking his back. Verdona watched as the energy being balanced atop the suit.

"Now you know how Anodites feel about their shells." Verdona stated as Fintan hummed and turned to the Anodite. "Least the ones who care enough to even make them. It's like wearing a costume. You don't feel yourself till it's peeled off." Verdona said as Fintan nodded.

"Should we go and find the ship?" Fintan questioned while Verdona swung her legs back and forth. She might have agreed with Fintan on how much the suit sucked… But she did like using it as a chair.

"No." Verdona said before Fintan turned to look at her in confusion. "I think we should talk before we go anywhere else." Verdona added as Fintan nodded.

"And what exactly is it you want to talk about?" Fintan questioned Verdona who simply smirked.

"You like traveling with me, don't you?" Verdona asked Fintan who shrugged.

"It's… Fun, yes." Fintan said before looking at Verdona. "Besides, you want to see the galaxy. I want to see the galaxy as well. I just don't want to have to spend every day in this blasted hunk of metal. It's like a prison you have to carry on your back." Fintan added while letting out a sigh.

Verdona held up her hands as a ball of mana slowly started to form in her palms.

"We are currently on Terradino." Verdona said while a tendril spread out from the ball. "I believe there is a moon nearby we could explore. It used to be an old space station till costs got too high. Least, that's what I heard from some of the Plumbers I've met while cruising through space." Verdona said as Fintan hummed.

"You want to go and check out an abandoned space station?" Fintan questioned Verdona who simply nodded while gesturing to the ball in her hands. "I'm starting to think 'dangerous' is written all over your ideas." Fintan muttered as Verdona rolled her eyes.

"If your too scared?" Verdona questioned as Fintan sighed. "Good boy." Verdona purred while Fintan rolled his eyes.

'This woman was going to be the death of me.' Fintan thought to himself which was once again beamed to Verdona who only smirked as her partner turned to the side with annoyance.

"Do you always have to read my thoughts?" Fintan asked, his voice meeker. He felt shy anytime Verdona managed to read his thoughts.

"Only the ones about me." Verdona said as Fintan shrugged. "Besides, the space station is a good place to relax." Verdona added as Fintan raised his eyebrow.

Fintan knew for a fact that he'd be dragged into even more crazy adventures. It was something that he was beginning to grow used to.

"Then let's go get the ship and go." Fintan said before letting out a yawn. "I'd like to get out of this suit soon. I hate getting in this can." Fintan muttered to Verdona as she giggled.

"You don't have to tell me twice." Verdona stated before flying off. Fintan sighed and started to walk after her. He rolled his eyes and continued to walk after her.
