December 11, 2013 | Central City, Missouri | POV: Xander Morue
Eight years. Eight years had passed since his trials, and Xander couldn't be happier. He was living the life. He was the CEO of Morue Enterprises, Queen Consolidated, Palmer Tech, and Stagg Industries. And had revolutionized the meaning of technology and medicine themselves. He had locations in America, Brazil, the UK, Italy, India, Japan, Russia, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, South Africa, etc, etc. To sum it up, the business was doing so well that Morue Enterprises had made billions off of his tech, medicines, branch companies, and his new space exploration program, making it one of the largest companies in the world.
He had released an array of tech, from Artificial Technology. His holotanks, which displayed 3-D images or A. I avatars. Holo-stills, which displayed holographic photos. Holo-videos, or holographic vids. Auditory dampeners for cars and motorcycles. Hover Trays for food, tools, etc. A replicator that could create anything from food, beverages, tools, etc. Industrial Replicators that could create necessary supplies, such as metals, woods, etc. Police Drones and Autonomous Vehicles. Cryo Chambers for personal use and hospital use alongside Cytoprethaline. Blueboxes for the consumers to use. And for hospitals, Xander had released his Flash Cloning tech, which created functional limbs and organs. His Medical Scanner tech. And for doctors, an X-Ray eye-implant that would allow them the ability to scan a patient.
And for his more...experimental projects - Xander had begun to dabble in space exploration and defense. He had begun the construction of a planetary shield that would protect the planet from threats such as aliens or asteroid impacts. Xander had even bought millions of acres of land to begin the construction of starships, which would be used for five things. Warships to defend the solar system, Destroyers to defend fleets and launch assaults, and Frigates to deploy ground forces. The other two were used for his newest project, terraforming, and colonization. Cruisers to transport supplies and goods, and Colony Ships to send colonists to other planets.
For the ships themselves, he had created many different technologies. Slipspace Drives, which would grant instantaneous travel from across the galaxy and maybe even the universe. Impulse Drives to fly the ships at low speeds. Tractor Beams to pull in and harvest materials or to grab onto and capture other vehicles or ships. And he had copied the concept of Quantum Torpedoes from Star Trek so the Warships and Destroyers would have offensive weapons, and the other ships would have defenses in case of attacks.
His three most popular inventions, however, made him the richest man in the entire world...by a lot. Firstly, his Quickware device, which acted as a wrist device that allowed individuals to have internet access with clear reception and unlimited data anywhere on Earth. The device was completely waterproof and was outfitted with a GPS. He had also turned it into a sort-of phone, which let whoever wore it to answer and deny calls, as well as access the internet. Secondly, his CIFI-Units, which connected straight to the users A. I as well as the internet, giving them immediate access to the news. It also worked like a phone, capable of answering and denying calls. And thirdly, the Ansible, which allowed instant communication from not only across the globe, but across the galaxy as well.
The first two devices had been bought in bulk by the millions by militaries across the world, and millions had paid top dollar for premium access to the already free Ansible. Morue Enterprises had even dabbled in other industries, the five more famous industries being Electronics, Construction and Trading, Motors, Heavy Industries, and Insurance. These five industries, probably any companies most important industries, had made Morue Enterprises exceedingly famous over the span of seven years.
He had worked closely with Ray Palmer, the Queen Family alongside the returned Oliver Queen, and had worked with the now-deceased Simon Stagg. Xander had kept the timeline intact, only changing a few major events and many major events to make the timeline perfect. He had manipulated time itself multiple times in situations, using his powers to make everything right. Xander had still joined the League in 2005, had married Talia and Nyssa, and had lived through his trials once again, before returning to 2009 where he'd left off. And since then, a lot had changed.
He had moved into his mansion on the outskirts of Central City in 2011, which looked over the city that he had come to love dearly. Talia had gone rogue two years prior, but he knew she had gone off to Gotham City in an attempt to kill Batman, only to stay there and have a child with the man that he knew was named Damien Wayne. Xander couldn't blame her, after all, he had refused to alter that part of the timeline for a reason. He stayed married to Nyssa and kept communication with the women of Themyscira before taking up the mantle of Ra's al Ghul in January of 2010 while Ra's went into stasis.
He held the position for two years until he handed the position back to his father figure and mentor. Xander had then moved back to Central City, where he remained for the next four years as he worked. Nyssa had opted to stay in Nanda Parbat with Sara Lance, training the young woman as well as to maintain their not-so-secret relationship. Xander had agreed, leaving that life behind as he ventured to Central City. He was now separated from his two wives, one of which went awol, while the other remained home. And he had only visited Themyscira twice including his second run-around through the trials, so he couldn't consider them girlfriends, merely lovers.
Over the years, he had released almost a trillion Dyson Panels from Morue Enterprises facilities on Mercury, draining power from the sun before returning a highly concentrated beam of Hydrogen at the star, fueling it as well as hopefully expanding its lifespan. He had first visited the moon in 2010, colonizing it as well as inhabiting it with Morue Enterprises workers to begin projects most wouldn't think of for thousands of years. His company had begun construction of space-ships, space-elevators, androids, flying cars, stellar engines, and so much more that would revolutionize the solar system.
Xander had taken a lot from his trials. The tech on the Monitor ships, the tech from Earth-1A's future, and the powers granted to him by the Speed Force and Beyonder. He had also taken a lot from his time in the Speed Force, looking over the past and future to discover things he wouldn't have even thought of. He would someday create an elevator to the moon, and would also create his own military, which he had already created plans for. He hadn't created a name yet, but the structure of the military was already written down and ingrained in memory. Grinning to himself, Xander sped down to his lab in a flash of gold, coming to a stop in front of a suit-pod, which held...a belt.
After a lot of work, Xander took a step back, and examined the, nicknamed 'Project Monitor'. He had decided to go with a black and gold color scheme, with the suit being mainly black with gold lining, patches, etc. Xander had constructed the suit out of nano-particle fibers, plasma fibers, Nano-Liquid Metal, and a new element he had created and weaved into a fiber, which he had named Vibronium. The armor was made out of six layers, starting with the undersuit layer, which immediately wrapped around the wearer. The second layer was the Infinitude Drive Belt that went around the wearer's waist, powered the suit, and housed the vast majority of the nanites. The third layer, originating from the Belt, was the Nano-Liquid Circuitry layer, which acted as a neurological connection between the suit and wearer, allowing the wearer to alter the suit. The fourth layer was the base-muscle layer, which held a lot of the suit's functions and allowed basic movements to the wearer. The fifth layer was the bulk-muscle and exo-structure layer, which allowed advanced movements to the wearer, and housed the Vibronium layer. And the sixth layer held the armor's skin, which could be manipulated by the wearer, and contained most of the suit's weapons and capabilities.
He didn't focus on weapons, only adding the basic energy blades, nano-katars, and automatic energy blasters, before adding some badass weapons he had developed, such as; A Unibeam attached to his emblem, which could blast through flesh and metal. A Micro-Missile Launcher, a missile launcher that fired fifteen tiny missiles capable of tearing down a building. The Omnibeam - an upgraded version of the Unibeam - a beam capable of reaching 25,232 degrees Fahrenheit through collecting energy, and could go through anything. And the Proton Cannon, a large device attached to the arm and shoulder, capable of disintegrating skyscrapers or small towns. The backlash, however, would immediately destroy the armor, meaning he could only use it one time per suit.
The suit itself reminded him of Nix Uotan's suit. It was tight-fitting, with a black main color and gold outlines. The chest had a black emblem with a golden outline, a white background, and a golden lightning bolt. The lining on his suit, which was gold, was fitted with special nanites that emitted an anti-phasing pulse around the entire suit. The legs contained golden boots, and the arms both had golden Quickware's attached, giving him access to Morue Enterprise's satellites, as well as other devices. The torso moved up into a turtle-neck, which connected to the suit's mask. The mask had a mouthpiece unlike the Flash's and Reverse-Flash's cowl, and the eyes were covered by a golden Head's-Up Display, being similar in design to Godspeeds.
The mask contained two golden ear-pieces, each fitted with its own Jewel, or CIFI Unit. One was connected to the Ansible, alerting him of any news immediately, and the other was connected to Evelyn's A. I system, letting him talk to her remotely. The last piece was the cape attached to his shoulders, which draped down to his ankles. The cape, along with the rest of the suit, was fire and ice resistant, with a golden interior and a black exterior. The gloves of the suit also had a minority-report function that allowed him to interact with and manipulate any kind of holographic display.
Xander looked down at his watch, his eyes examining the time as a ripple in the Speed Force suddenly tore open. He could sense it. Feel it even. He got up from his seat, grabbing a black ring from a table nearby, which contained a golden lightning bolt in the center. Xander pressed it into the slot at the front of the pod, pressing a nub on the left side of the ring as the rings compartment popped open. The XV shrunk to the size of a pea, shooting into the rings compartment, which then slammed shut. Xander pulled the ring out of the pod's slot, examining the ring as a smile crossed his lips.
He looked back down at his watch and realized he was three minutes late. Shaking his head, Xander sped upstairs to the main level, took a shower, got dressed, and jumped into the best car within his garage. The car itself was a Koenigsegg Regera, one of the better supercars in 2016. It was one of his best creations. The car's chassis was made of three layers. An Amazonium, Vibranium, and his new Vibronium base layer. The car had a pure gold top layer, with portions of it painted matte black.
He had expanded the chassis to fit four people, with the rear middle seat holding the Flux Reactor. The seats were made of memory-foam seating, a 10-inch infrared information, and an entertainment system pad in the front. Rear and front cameras are used for parking, an upgraded sound system, ambient lighting, as well as 5G and WIFI connectivity. The four-car doors were all dihedral synchro-helix doors. The front doors moved out, forward, and turned 90 degrees to open. And the back doors moved out, back, and turned 90 degrees to open.
The car's specs were the best of any vehicle in 2026, with added specs he had created before the accelerator explosion. The wheels could turn 45 degrees to face the ground, each using a Boosted Gravity Propulsion Drive to lift the car into the air three feet into the ground in the 'Hover Mode'. Then in flight mode, three things would happen. Firstly, two wings would emerge from the lower chassis. Secondly, the 'Hover-Wheels' would increase power to lift the car higher into the air. And thirdly, much smaller Impulse Engines would turn on suddenly at the rear of the vehicle, sending the car soaring, before being controlled by the driver to move the car up, down, left, and right. And the more extreme changes he had made included the Infinitude Drive, connected directly to the Flux Reactor.
The Infinitude Drive was connected straight to the Forces he had connected with so long ago. Or more specifically the Speed Force, Forever Force, and Life Force. The Speed Force let the car literally go at superspeed, reaching top-speeds of Mach-5000, both on the ground and off it. The Forever Force let the car slip into the timestream like in Back to the Future and the Legends. And the car was fitted with vents on the rear that spit out Life Force dust, which not only could revive plants but would revive dead organisms above the ground. Like road-kill, hunted animals left behind, deceased homeless individuals, deceased individuals whether it be from suicide, homicide, or natural causes.
He started the car, clicking a small button on the rear of the wheel, turning on 'Hover Mode' as the car lifted roughly five feet into the air. He then clicked a second button, turning it into 'Flight Mode' as the impulse engines pushed the car forward and out of the garage. Xander steered the car over the home, before pressing down on the gas, sending the car into the city, which loudly awaited the particle accelerators activation, which would occur in twenty-six minutes.
Xander stopped six blocks away from the Scientific and Technological Advanced Research Laboratories - or S.T.A.R Labs - slowly descending to the ground in front of a small building with the sign 'CC Jitters' on the side. He wasn't really a coffee person, but what concerned him the most were the people inside the building. He pushed open his doors, stepping out of his car to find a crowd of people had surrounded his car, all completely shocked by the pinnacle of technology that was his car, which he would admit cost about 36 billion dollars. "What the hell is that?", "Oh my god,", "Aren't you that guy-", "You're that Morue guy right?" were all questions asked at the same time. Xander, confused and almost annoyed, sealed his car and put up its shields before moving around it and into the coffee shop.
As soon as he entered the coffee shop, silence rang through as everyone stared at him, no doubt having noticed his entrance in a flying car, something only heard of in science-fiction. "Did you just get here in a flying car?" The female barista asked, utterly shocked, but sober enough to ask the question. Xander grinned, reaching into his pocket before drawing out a business card. He silently moved towards the counter, pressing it down before sliding it over to the still shocked barista. "Morue Enterprises, our flight tech should be out on the market in the next few months. When it does, it should be for a good price. And by that…I mean it'll be really good quality, but cheap," The barista, still shocked, gave him a small smile, before accepting the business card. "I'll take a Caffe Mocha,"
The barista nodded, hurrying off to make the order. Xander smiled, turning around only to bump into his two targets. One being a lanky brown-haired man, who appeared to be 5'11", 170 lbs, had brown eyes, was wearing a red jacket, red pants, black sneakers, and a white shirt. The other was a very attractive woman, who was 5'7", 130 lbs, had darker skin, brown eyes, brown hair, pink lips, and what seemed like really smooth skin. His memories from the Speed Force were a little foggy, but with his Omnipotence - which came with omniscience - he knew for a fact that these two were Barry Allen and Iris West, the former being the catalyst for his existence and the death of his parents...not yet anyway. "Is it true? What they're saying? That you got here in a flying car? Where did you get it from? Did you make it or buy it? If so, where and for how much?"
"Hush, Barry, calm down," Iris snapped, though she had a smile on her face that showed she was trying to keep Xander from becoming either annoyed or angry. She then turned to him, her smile expanding. "I'm sorry about him, he gets really excited when it comes to anything remotely based on science. My name's Iris, Iris West. This is my friend Barry Allen," Xander reached down, accepting her handshake only for him to twist her hand and bring it closer. He bent down, placing a kiss on her knuckles before backing away. He grinned at Iris' blush, before speaking. "Well met, Ms. West. And it's a pleasure to meet you too, Mr. Allen. And don't worry, I get that way all the time. More so when it comes to speaking with my VP...we don't agree that much on a lot of things,"
"VP? As in Vice President? Wait...you seem...oh my...you're Xander Morue, CEO of Morue Enterprise!" Barry exclaimed, grabbing Xander's hand before shaking it vigorously. "I am a huge fan of your work on biotechnology. Your work on Artificial Intelligence, medical technology, and your work on the Ansible is truly groundbreaking. I'm ashamed I didn't realize it until just now, but now it makes a lot more sense as to why you showed up in a flying car? Are you selling them? Where? And for how much?"
"Well, that one, in particular, is my own car, which I made out of rare materials for my own use. But our first fleet of flying cars should be out in our shops here in Central City in...three months. As for where we have a large store opening about...eleven blocks from here. And as for how much, our more basic models are starting at $15,000, our better models are starting at $50,000, and our best models are starting at $100,000. And of course, there'll be discounts for law enforcement, military, etc," Xander replied, motioning to Barry, who seemed surprised.
"How did you -"
"While I'm not a hired or formal detective, I can be pretty...observant. For instance, I noticed that when I bumped into you two, you immediately looked down at my shoes. Now normally, I would assume you were into my kicks, but then I followed your eyes. You followed my footsteps outside, and out the door. I would have then assumed you were a detective or just really observant as I am, but then I noticed a few baggies sticking out of your jacket, and put the pieces together. You're a crime scene investigator or CSI. My guess would be you're employed by the CCPD," Xander explained. "As for you, I would assume from the apron stuffed in your purse that you work here. However, I would say that you've dabbled a bit in reporting as well. I can tell based off of the pen located in your right pocket, as well as the notepad sticking out of your back pocket. Easy access to both pen and paper to take notes in the case of a random accident or something to write about later. However, I can tell you wanted to be a cop when you were younger. Not only are you in perfect physical shape, but you seemed to walk around with your right hand on the hem of your jeans, as if ready to draw a weapon that isn't there,"
"Damn. Are you really a detective, or are you a stalker?" Iris asked with a smile. Xander shook his head, accepting his mocha from the barista before turning back to the two with a smile. "Well, as much as I would love to be your stalker, Ms. West, I believe it would be rather inappropriate to be Mr. Allen's. Besides, I thought it was standard to have dinner first before accusing someone of being a stalker," Although many would argue that Iris West was destined to marry Barry Allen, Xander decided to have some fun with fate.
"I'll hold you to that," Iris replied with a grin. Xander nodded, looking down at his watch to see they had twelve minutes until the particle accelerated. He looked back up at them, finding a smiling Iris and it seemed Barry felt a little weird suddenly being the third wheel. "Where are you two going?" He asked, leading them towards the coffee shop's doors.
"We're going to S.T.A.R Labs. Where are you going?" Barry asked.
"I'm heading there myself. In fact...would you two like a ride?" Xander inquired, motioning out to the gold car that sat next to the sidewalk. Iris immediately called shotgun, before seemingly remembering her manners, thanking him before hurrying out of the shop. Barry shook his head, looking after her as Xander did the same. "Xander," Evelyn called out from his Jewel, startling him as he looked down at his Quickware. "I've been taking readings ever since you've walked in, and 's readings seem rather...off. I've been scanning Central City as well, and I've found a Life-Force identical to that of. The same is true for a few others,"
"Are you ok?" Barry asked, not having heard the information dump from Evelyn. Xander looked up from his Quickware, his eyes meeting Barry's as he nodded. "Yes. I'm fine, I just got some information from my personal A. I named Evelyn," Xander motioned outside, before adding. "What do you say we go out and join ?" Barry nodded, leading the way as Xander followed close behind. Xander could see Iris leaning against the passenger door, a wide smile on her face as he and Barry stepped out of the coffee shop.
Xander passed by a few onlookers, walking around the front of the car before pressing his hand against the hood. He unsealed his car, before motioning for Barry and Iris to step back. Once they had, he opened the door, watching as they moved out, forward or back, before spinning at a ninety-degree angle. Barry and Iris gawked at the doors for a moment, before climbing in, both taking the passenger seats. Xander climbed into the driver's seat, closing the doors before turning on the silent engine.
He turned the car into 'Flight Mode', before taking off into the air. Iris stared out of the window in amazement, while Barry examined the car's interior. "What is this thing made of? And what is it running off of to grant it flight?" Barry asked. Xander sighed, not really in the mood to discuss the makeup of his literal supercar. So, he turned on the holo-pedestal above the entertainment system, watching as the holo-image of Evelyn's face appeared. "Xander's car, named 'Project Pegasus', is made out of multiple materials. Nanoparticles, Pure Gold, Amazonium, Vibranium, and an element he created named Vibronium. Estimated at $36.468 billion, this car's functions are powered by a Pinch Fusion Reactor created by Xander himself. The car runs on a renewable energy source that provides roughly 17.923 gigawatts of power, while only using an estimated 1.3456 gigawatts,"
"That's a lot of energy," Iris and Barry spoke at the same time.
"Indeed," Evelyn replied. Xander nodded, deactivating the holo-pedestal as he lowered the car into the S.T.A.R Labs parking lot near the complex. After opening the doors, he, Iris, and Barry all stepped out of the car, which was then sealed by Xander. "The main stage should be forward and to the left, where Harrison Wells is due to speak. I would join you, but I have someone I have to meet before the accelerator activates. I'll try to meet back up with you two once I'm done though,"
"Oh ok," Iris spoke, before pulling out the aforementioned pen and notepad from her pockets. She wrote down something and pulled off the note, before handing it to Xander, who examined the writing. 'Iris West. 660-485-7385. Call me' Xander grinned down at the note folding it neatly before placing it in his jacket pocket. "Will do, Iris," Xander gave the two a nod, before moving away at a normal pace. Once he was away from prying eyes, Xander sped off into the facility and into the Time Vault located on the sixth floor.
Once there, he approached the terminal in the corner of the room, wiping his hand over it as the A. I Gideon appeared. "Hello, Xander Morue. You are earlier than expected. How may I help you?" Gideon asked. Xander smiled at the A.I, before replying. "I received a message from the Speed Force, which stated that I would need to receive a separate message from this terminal. I was hoping that you would have that message Gideon," He explained.
"Of course," The wall to his left slid open to reveal a single framed piece of paper that literally had his name on it. Xander nodded in thanks and pulled the frame off of the interior wall. Once he had it in hand, Xander began to read. The document read; Attached to this dossier is a list of names important to the timeline. Keep them safe for as long as you can. You know subconsciously what to do with them, but it's up to you to find out what that is. I will not be able to speak to you for a while, but I hope you enjoy your new life. The entire list made enough sense. It was the rest of the list that made absolutely no sense to the list itself. These individuals were added to the timeline as a result of not only Flashpoint, but you're creating Earth-Prime as well. This change in the Multiverse destabilized the Bleed, allowing individuals and places to merge with our universe separate from their own universe. Find the bolded soon. Those italicized will need to be contacted after the Speed Force acts. You will know the act when it is done. With that, I have no doubt.

Xander frowned, examining the list of names, or more specifically the name Meena Dhawan or Fast Track. The Speed Force had been pretty - well - pissed when he had asked the Beyonder for Omnipotence. And so, the Speed Force inflicted its own minor punishment by blocking his Omniscience at the present day, meaning he could only see the future via the Speed or Forever Forces. But the one thing he hadn't done, was check in on the late crush of his that he hadn't spoken to in sixteen years. But now...now it seemed as if she was a speedster based on the name Fast Track.
And now there were a bunch of doubles. Another Iris West, another Patty Spivot, another Linda Park, and not it seemed he had to reach out to these same-earth doppelgangers, which was confusing as all hell, even with his mass intellect. Xander folded the papers neatly, placing them into his pocket before turning to leave. Only he didn't find the open wall he was expecting. Instead, he was met with two individuals he had not been expecting. Barry Allen and Nora West-Allen. "Who the hell are you?"
