Summer vacation had ended as Rin and Ichika were having a training match , while Wyatt snacking on a bag of chips
The American looked excited as he saw Ichika close to winning but at the last moment his shield energy was depleted to zero by Rin's impact cannon.
Later in the locker room as the guys were going over footage, Wyatt says " You have to save your trump card for the right moment. It burns to much energy to use willy-nilly ".
The Japanese male said " I know that but Rin managed to block my attacks".
Wyatt says " That's because you're not being aggressive enough with your strikes. Make up for your shitty defense with a strong offense".
Ichika says " That makes sense in theory but it's hard to pull off in practice ".
Wyatt leaves the room and says " Well hurry up and changed , your sister will kill you if you're late".
As Wyatt got to class , Charlotte asked " Is Ichika going to be here on time".
Wyatt responds " Don't worry he was getting changed so he should be here any second ".
Time passed and yet for some reason Ichika didn't enter the room and class began without him.
As class went on , Ichika entered the room as Chifuyu ask " So why are you late this time".
Ichika responds " I'm sorry but this mysterious blue hair girl who I never met came up with me".
Wyatt thought " Wait mysterious lady with blue hair , please tell me it's a coincidence. I finally got rid of her once I roomed with Ichika".
Chifuyu says " So you're late because you prioritize talking with girl over class". She points to Charlotte and adds" Dunios please demonstrate the rapid switch
Charlotte gets up out her her seat with a smile over her face and says" Now ... observe the rapid switch".
She deployed her unit and opened fire at Ichika.
Later in the day as the class was at school assembly Wyatt whispered to Ichika " So did this blue haired girl had red eyes and a fan".
Surprised ,Ichika says " Yeah do you know her"?
Wyatt points to the stage and says " You'll find out in a couple of seconds".
Tatenashi made her way up to the podium and says " Good Morning everyone. Due to how busy this year has been , I haven't been able to properly introduce myself. My name is Sarashiki Tatenashi and I'm your student council president ".
As Ichika was still shocked at the revelation, Wyatt whispers " Never would've thought she would reveal herself to you ".
Tatenashi says " Okay so as many of you know our school festival is coming up so each class must come up with a booth idea ".
She opens up her trademark fan and it read " DeadLine Coming Soon".
Then the students body president smirks and adds " There's also a special prize for the booth that raises the most. Both of our male pilots will join the winning club".
In that instant Wyatt and Ichika realized the entire student body were looking at them like a lion does a gazelle.
After school while Class 1-1 were going over potential ideas , the board read as followed
( Male Host Club, Twister with Guys, Pocky with guys and King's game with guys).
Ichika says without hesitation " All of these ideas can't work".
The girls are in up roar as they try to get Ichika to change his mind.
One girl says " You have a duty to service the girls till they're happy".
Another agrees and adds " Orimura and Danforth are shared property ".
Ichika sighs while looking at his roommate and ask " So Wyatt do you have any ideas ".
While playing around with a pencil, Wyatt says " I don't know, I could probably make some clay sculptures based on the units in our class".
Kaitlynn says " That's great and all but it has to be something everyone can chip in and not a solo project ".
Ichika says " She's right , plus I don't trust that they'll be regular sculpture's after the beach trip ".
Wyatt states " i was only going to blow them up after we were done and in a safe place outside ".
Ichika says " You didn't even deny you were going to blow them up".
Wyatt says " What can I say it's in my nature ".
Laura speaks up and says " What about a maid cafe , with all the outsiders coming in it would give them a place to sit. Plus we can make revenue if we sell food and drinks".
Ichika surprised Laura suggested an idea says " How does everyone feel about a cafe".
All of the girls agree but Wyatt could tell it was based on the girl's desire to see the guys in butler cosplay.
Ichika says " Then it's decided Class 1-1 will be doing a cafe".
Wyatt gets up and says " If it's decided we have to hand the form in to your sister correct".
Ichika says " Yeah , dont worry it will only take a sec".
As the two guys leave the classroom Kaitlynn ask " So when did Wyatt help Ichika out with his class rep duty ".
Houki says " From what he said ' whenever I'm bored' or something like that ".
After they handed in the form to the teacher's office, Ichika checked his watch and realized he was late for special training.
From behind the two Tatenashi says "They're you two are , I've been looking for you guys ".
Wyatt says " Ichika as you probably realized by now this is our student body president and former roommate Tatenashi Sarashiki ".
Tatenashi says " Come on why do you have to be so serious, we had some good times".
Wyatt attempts to drag Ichika off and says " Come on bud , you're going to be late".
Tatenashi says " That's too bad I really wanted to reminisce old memories including you're diary entries from up until you moved out".
Wyatt stopped in his tracks and dragged Ichika back to the president and ask " So what do you want with us "?
The girl smirks and says " Well I came here to tell you I'll be you're personal IS coach".
Ichika says " That's kinda of out of the blue , besides I got 5 coaches already ".
Tatenashi says " Really because from the looks of things it seems you have zero coaches. I mean you lost to Cecilia, Rin, and could barely pull out a win with Houki and Charlotte against Laura".
Wyatt says " I would take up the offer , she did train me and you've seen the results ".
Ichika says " Like that time you beat Cecilia by coincidence, Gave up against Rin or that victory against two girls without a personal unit".
Wyatt says " Still a better track record than you , I think you should remember from the last time we fought ".
Tatenashi says " Unless you count the class rep match, you guys never had an official match".
Wyatt realized his mistake and says " Oh yeah that's what I meant. We never had any other duels ".
Tatenashi says " Anyways in order to make you just a tiny bit better I'll be your personal trainer for now ".
Angered Ichika says " I'll tell you what let's settle this IS style! Winner tells the loser what to do".
Seemingly unfazed Tatenashi chipperly replies " Sure that sounds fun ".
Before Wyatt knew it , the three were at the the academy's training hall .
As the two faced each other Tatenashi explained "The rules are simple, get me down on the ground even once you win. However if I can get you to give up , I'm the winner".
Ichika smirks and says " You're underestimating me , don't you ".
Wyatt thought " If anything, she's humoring you with a challenge ".
The match began and flawless Tatenashi continuously knocks him Ichika down.
After the third takedown Wyatt says" I don't think I ever mentioned this but the title of student council president is special. It's basically code for the best pilot ". He gets up and before he leaves , he adds " So good luck starting training Ichika ".
Later at night, As Wyatt was reading a textbook he thought " Man this guy's training is taking forever ".
Tatenashi enters the room with and ask " So did Ichika get back yet".
Wyatt says " Nope , but you're probably going to do that fake naked apron trick right "
Tatenashi pats him on the head and says " You really do understand me , shame you're dating Kaitlynn ".
Wyatt says " I'm not dating anyone, I'm a completely free man".
Tatenashi says " That's what your mouth is saying, but what about your heart".
Wyatt puts his books away and says " Try not to make any noise , I'm going to sleep ".
