Red emerged from the slipgate, and as soon as she did, her eyes went wide. She was in the ruins of what once was a sprawling metropolis. Most of the buildings were either set up in a firey blaze, reduced to rubble, or were damaged beyond repair.

However, the sight seeing couldn't last long. Red was on the roof of a building. The roof top was covered in blood and gore as well as hundreds of empty bullet and shell casings. Looking straight ahead she saw William sprinting towards the two Shifters, the Marauder as well as two spirits. The trio was standing near the edge of the building, Chara in her Arch vile form. She sitting cross legged, a bright strand of red and yellow energy extending from her chest and down below the building.

The trio immediately noticed The Slayer and the spirits howled and dove into the two demons, possessing them. Two strands of blue energy extended from the now possessed demons and formed a blue protective shield around Chara.

William swung at the shield with his crucible only to get sent flying back. The Slayer extended his right leg forward and planted his gauntlets firmly on the ground along with his right leg. Lastly, he planted his left leg on the ground behind him, allowing him to skid to a halt besides Red.

The two now possessed demons held their ground, instead waiting for the opposition to attack. Even with their enhancements brought on by the possession they knew this wouldn't be an easy fight, or one the could win.

Red turned to William with a wicked smile on her face.

"I get the Marauder, you get Chara's fucktoy?" Red asked.

William nodded. "If you are starting to get your ass beat, just holler." Reds smile widened at that small bite of humor the Slayer provided.

Looking back to the two demons, Red took off sprinting. When she got close enough she jumped into the air with a mighty yell and brought her sword down on the Marauder.

The demon easily dodged to the side, shifting its balance and attempting a kick to Red's side. Red jumped backwards, putting both hands on her sword and letting out a flurry of swings in order to halt the demons advance. Each swing was blocked and the Marauder countered with a knee to Reds stomach.

Red keeled over in pain, letting out a cry. Using her moment off vulnerability, The Marauder kneed her again and brought the end of his axe down hard on her head, causing Red to almost let go of her sword.

Red snarled and using the little time she had before the front end of the axe was brought down on her, jumped into the air and sent a flurry of kicks into the possessed demons forehead. The attacks sending him to the ground.

Red knew she only had a second or two before he was back up, so she pounced, driving her sword down in the direction of her fathers cranium. The Marauder retailed by rolling to the side. Now Red was the one on the ground. Realizing her predicament she quickly shot back up, only to duck, barley avoiding the Marauders axe.

Red swung at the Marauders side, her sword connecting with the blunt end of the axe. The demon swung his right leg forward, aiming for Reds stomach. Red jumped out of the way, The Marauder swinging again, this blow aimed for her left leg. Red easily jumped over and kicked the Marauder in the head, knocking him back a few feet.

Red herself jumped back a few feet. She was breathing heavily and knew that she wouldn't be able to keep this us for much longer.

The Marauder easily recovered from the kick and was now running towards her. Red quickly sliced the air and cut open a rift and jumped through.

The Marauder stopped, almost falling into the rift.

A rift opened behind him and Red popped out.

The Marauder spun around and using a free hand punched Red in the chest, knocking her back into her own rift. She landed on her stomach, and turned to see the Marauder with his axe over her head.

In just under thirty seconds, she had been beaten. She could do nothing but close her eyes as she waited for the inevitable.

William sprinted towards the shifter. The demon stood its ground, awaiting for the Slayer to attack. However as the Slayer grew near, Satos's stance faltered slightly. The demon spun around and vaulted off the roof of the building and landed on another below.

Coward, The Slayer could see the energy flow leading from Satos to Chara so he would easily find him. He was only delaying the inevitable. William was about to vault over the roof when he heard a cry of pain.

He turned to his right to see the Marauder with his axe over Red's form, ready to strike. The Slayer pulled his Super Shotgun and sprinted forward.

When the Slayer was inrange, he activated the meat hook weapon mod and a strong metal chain with a hook attached on the end shot forward, connecting with and lodging itself into the Marauders side. The intense heat of Meathook caused the demon to begin to burn.

The Marauder let out a cry of pain and faltered as the hook lodged itself into his side. The Marauder looked down at his side then gasped as he saw the Doom Slayer grappling towards him. The demon didn't have time to react as two buckshot rounds tore through the torso of the demons and sent it flying back into a wall.

William stopped and looked down at Red. "Are you alright?"

Red looked up at the Slayer. His voice had a considerable more amount of emotion within it. As if he actually wanted to know if she was alright.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine..."

William extended a gauntlet towards her. Red grinned and grabbed onto it, the brute pulling her up with other worldly strength.

The Slayer pointed to the recovering Marauder. "I will deal with him, do you think you can get the other?"

Red nodded. "Of course I can deal with that coward." Red scoffed.

William nodded and turned back to the Marauder. Red quickly followed the energy flow originating from Chara.

The Slayer pulled his ballista and fired at the sprinting Marauder. The demon stopped and pulled up his shield. It was obvious that he wouldn't be able to do any damage to the demon until it was up close, however with the demon now standing still, he could now close the distance.

The Slayer ran towards the Marauder, who got rid of his shield and swung. Not even a second after he preformed that action a Ballista round pierced his stomach.

The Marauder faltered, but only slightly. Quickly regaining his focus enough to dash to the side of a punch from the Doom Slayer. Just as the demon was going to swing, another Ballista round pierced his right leg. The Slayer, not giving the Marauder a moment to recover, jumped forward and delivered and blood punch that peeled off half the demons face and sent it flying backwards.

The Slayer pursued, pulling out his crucible and swinging downwards on the demons head. The Marauder, more quick an agile due to his possession was able to roll to the right. Jumping back onto his feet he swung down on the Slayers helmet. The Slayer grabbed the axe, and with one hand fired another ballista round into the demons left eye. The Marauder roared in pain as chunks of its face were blown apart. The Slayer pulled the axe free from the demons grip and kneed it in the gut, the force of the blow plowing through the Marauders stomach and out the other side. The demon stumbled backwards, now defenseless.

This particular demon was extremely resilient. It should be a surprise that it's even still standing. But despite it being alive, it was in no condition to fight.

Still stumbling, one hand reached for its non existent stomach, while another for his very own Super Shotgun.

William pocketed his Ballista and replaced it with the combat shotgun, and aimed for the Marauders left hand.

The Slayer pulled the trigger, and the blast tore off chunks of the Marauders arm and caused it to drop the Super Shotgun.

The Shotgun was cocked and an explosive shot was fired, landing on the Marauders left leg. The explosion utterly destroyed the leg, causing the demon to fall onto its stomach.

The Marauder desperately tried crawling away. The Slayer mused as he watched his prey trying to escape. The Slayer pulled his crucible and walked over to the helpless demon. He shook his head and stomped down on the Marauders chest, separating it from the rest of its body. The demon let out a roar of pain but was quickly silenced as its head was separated from its shoulders.

The blue light immediately left the demons eyes, the spirit that had manifested itself within the Marauder exited the body. William expected this though and already had his plasma gun with the microwave beam attached ready. A blue beam of energy shot out from the muzzle of the weapon, making contact with the spirit and holding it in place. The spirit howled in pain, it's pleas for mercy not being met as it soon exploded.

William turned back to Chara, there was now only one strand of energy, and the energy field looked to be visibly weakened. If Red could just kill the last remaining demon then he could cut the things head out.

But then the Slayers train of thought stopped. Even if Red killed the other shifter, the spirit was the one linked to the energy field. The spirit must be eliminated. Which means he would have to help Red, and leave Chara unchecked. So once the spirit was killed Chara could escape.

William sighed in annoyance, glaring at the shifter before following the flow of blue energy.

Red had him, he couldn't run forever. The shifter, Satos as he was referred to, dashed across the roof tops. Every time Red was almost able to catch up he would switch into another form to find a shortcut through a building. Red knew he wasn't slowing down anytime soon, he was a Demon and wouldn't exhaust for a few hours. However he was starting to slow down just enough that Red was catching up.

Satos jumped off the edge of a building, landing down hard onto a much smaller one. Red wasn't to far behind, rolling to prevent injury. While still sprinting, she cut open a rift and jumped through.

It opened directly in front of Satos and the demon fell through. Red smiled as the Demon dropped down directly in front of her. It lay on its stomach and looking up saw a sword being held up high, about to be plunged downward into its skull. With a growl, Satos put both hands flat on the ground in a push-up position and jumped up, punching Red in the stomach. The blow sent Red flying backwards. Red landed on her feet and ducked to avoid a right hook. The demons leg lashed out for a kick and Red jumped back, narrowly avoiding the kick. The demon roared and charged her with enhanced speed, it's blue eyes eager for blood. Red held her sword tight with both hands and jumped several feet into the air. Before the weapon could connect with her opponents skull, it shifted into an imp and jumped back. It shifted again into a Baron of Hell and leaped forward, swinging both energy blades horizontally.

Red parried the blow, the force of the swing faltering her enemy. With a cry of anger she leaped forward letting a flurry of blows out which connected with the demons torso. The force of the swings caused multiple pieces of the Shifters armor plating. Once enough of the demon was exposed, Red made to dive her sword into the exposed area. However just like before, the demon shifted again. This time what it shifted to surprised her.

Now charging her, was the Marauder.

Red snapped out of her stunned state to block a flurry of blows brought on by the demons axe. Red found an opening in his offensive and took it, kicking him in the leg and causing him to stumble before he dashed to the right.

Then Red realized something. This looked like her father, but did it fight like him? Surely not.

A wicked grin grew on Reds face as she charged what looked like the Marauder. And as she thought, it held its ground. Her father would have attacked. Jumping a few feet in the air Red swung down, connecting with the blunt side of the axe. Red delivered a flurry of swings aimed at all areas of the body. Unlike her father, Satos couldn't keep up and was struck multiple times. Eventually he couldn't defend anymore and dropped his axe, shifting into a pain elemental. Satos took a few hits as he ascended up into the air but they were just minor scratches. If you count the stabbing of a vital organ a scratch. Satos knew he could simply switch forms.

The pain elemental threw several lost souls at Red, all hurled down at her screaming bloody murder.

Red ran forward towards the shifter, jumping, ducking and slicing through the living projectiles. As Red drew near she jumped up, grabbing the shifter by the arm and lifting up her sword to stab it in the eye.

As predicted, the shifter shifted. This time into a Dread Knight. Red maintained her hold on him however as he fell to the ground. Red let go just before Satos hit the ground, and while he was recovering from the fall, pounced.

Sato's eyes went wide as the mad women pounced onto him. Before he could even think about shifting her sword had dug several holes within his stomach. Blood emptied from the body and coated her form. She didn't seem to mind it, she just kept stabbing. He couldn't shift, he tried. The shifter thrashed it's energy blades about, desperately trying to escape. Unfortunately for him, his arms didn't serve a use any more as they had been severed. His legs had been too. And he screamed out in pain. He couldn't think to shift. Was this her plan? Get him in so much pain that it was impossible for him to shift. Satos suddenly stopped struggling. He wasn't going to survive. Would he cease to exist? What would happen to him after he died again. He was scared, but we welcomed death. Hell was a curse, a prison. And he wanted to be free. He ceased all hints of struggle, and relaxed. The pain was good, it was freeing him. She was freeing him. Satos only hoped that they would be able to stop Chara. He wanted her to be free. Where ever they would go, Satos wanted to be with her. And with those final thoughts, the shifter smiled letting the warm embrace of death take him.

Red continued to stab, enjoying every moment of the demons pain. This one was the one that had spent all those nights with her in that cave in hell. The one that had raped her every night. He would shift into any demon possible and he was never satisfied. Oh how good it felt to put an end to this miserable things life. She almost wanted to purr at how good it felt. Is this how William felt all the time? Red brought her sword up high, aiming to split the demons head in two when she hesitated.

Satos was smiling. He didn't seem to be in any pain anymore either and ceased his struggling. Red didn't give it a second thought and brought down the sword, splitting the demons brains in two. The blue light began to leave the demons eyes and the spirit that had possessed him exited the body.

Shit.

Red had forgotten about the spirit.

Luckily for her, the sudden pounding it footsteps behind her signaled help had already arrived.

A bright blue beam was cast and connected with the spirit. The spirit howled in pain as the life was sucked out of it and it exploded.

Red turned, with a grin.

"Good j-"

The Slayer was already running back the way they had came. And Red realized why and quickly chased after him.

Chara blinked. Turning she found the shield had been broken. Immediately her heart hurt. Despite them being demons, she was quite fond of Satos. Chara's eyes hardened. Once she resurrected this Titan she would bring him back. Despite the loss of the shield she continued her work, she couldn't give up now.

Then she heard the sound of a cocking Shotgun and spun to her left to see the Doom Slayer just a few dozen feet away with his Combat Shotgun aimed directly at her. Red was just finished scaling the building and vaulted over.

The Slayer fired, and Chara formed a wall of fire to block the pellets. The Slayer double jumped over the wall of flames and fired another burst of pellets. The pellets impacted with Chara's head and she grunted in pain and shifted into a Baron of Hell before jumping backwards. Chara was now getting desperate. Despite the souls enhancing her abilities, she would not be able to defeat the Doom Slayer. Would she be able to hold him off for a considerable amount of time? Yes. However he would sooner or later get the better of her. Not to mention Red would speed up that process. Her only option was too flee. But before she could act on the choice Red formed a rift and jumped through. Soon a series of painful blows impacted Chara's chest. The Doom Slayer then charged forward with his Crucible at the ready.

Chara immediately shifted into a gargoyle and began to ascend. But was sent spiraling to the ground and a rocket impacted against her chest.

William approached, crucible in hand.

Before she could shift, Red stabbed the gargoyle in the chest multiple times. The pain causing the shifter to collapse.

The Slayer loomed over Chara. The shifter coughed and sputtered. The form of a gargoyle is far less resilient and therefore the damage she had suffered would kill her in a matter of hours. There was no way she could shift now.

Red grabbed the shifter by the back of the throat and held it up to William.

"Would you like to do the honors?" Red sarcastically asked.

William nodded, and raised his crucible.

This was it, she was going to die agai-

"STOP!"

The Slayer lowered his weapon and Red dropped the shifter. William and Red both turned to see who dared to interrupt the ripping and the tearing.

William and Red both almost dropped their weapons at who they saw.

Standing before them was the Seraphim.

He had his hands clasped behind his back as he studied the three.

Red stepped forward, ignoring the demon and kneeled.

The Seraphim floated over to Red.

"Rise my child."

Red did as she was instructed and rose to her feet, eyes wide in shock.

The Seraphim turned to the Slayer and nodded. The Slayer returned the gesture hesitantly.

"You will not kill the shifter."

William gawked. What?

"This child is in a rather unfortunate predicament. She has been misguided."

Red looked at the Seraphim in a mix of confusion and anger.

"My lord, if I may. She's hellbent on destroying all of reality to satisfy her own needs and we are just supposed to let that slide?"

The Seraphim shook his head and muttered to himself before speaking again.

"You misunderstand me child, the Shifter will die. But it's what happens after that I am here to dictate."

"What the hell are you saying?" Red asked, growing increasingly frustrated.

The Seraphim ignored her and floated over to Chara.

Chara's Gargoyle form looked up, eyes widened in shock and fear.

"No need to worry my child, I offer you a gift." Chara relaxed as the Makyr grew closer.

"W-what can you possibly do for me?" Chara asked, coughing after she finished.

The Seraphim looked down upon her and pointed.

"You seek to destroy this universe because you want to create a better one. For that to happen Trillions will die. I am offering to take you beyond this world and create a pocket sized universe just for you. You can manipulate it as you will."

Chara's eyes grew even wider.

"C-can I bring Satos?"

The Seraphim nodded. "You can create him there, however I understand it wouldn't be exactly the same. I can bring him as well."

Chara smiled. "T-thank you I..."

"You can kill her now."

Chara's head bounced onto the ground, removed by a single strike from the Slayers crucible.

Red looked down at the body.

"So she's in la la land now?" Red asked.

...

The sun was out bright as ever illuminating the expansive city below. All throughout the streets humans and monsters walked about. There were parties throughout the street, lots of them. Everyone seemed to be happy.

Chara woke up in a bed. The bed was a single bed, with a large pink fluffy pillow and several pillows and comforters. Chara opened her eyes and found herself staring at the ceiling.

Had he been telling the truth?

A long wet tongue licked at her cheek at she turned and her heart filled with joy upon seeing a small white fluffy dog with its front paws propped up against the side of her bed. It's tail was wagging and it made small whining sounds. Chara smiled and began to stroke the dog's neck, causing the dog to let out small growls of content.

The door to the room opened up and little dog ran over.

"Here Toby!" A voice exclaimed. Chara looked to the door to see Toriel patting the dog on the forehead.

"Oh you're awake my child!"

Tears began to form in Chara's eyes and she ripped the covers off of her, hopped off the bed and sprinted over and embraced Toriel crying into her arms.

Toriel frowned. "My child what's wrong?"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"Chara exclaimed her tears wetting Toriels dress.

"Is something wrong?"

Toriel turned and smiled as Asgore stepped in wearing a pink t-shirt and track pants.

"I'm not sure gory, she must have had a nightmare." Toriel responded.

Asgore stepped over. "Chara, what's wrong? It's 1 PM and you've just woken up."

Chara's crying was now reduced to sniffles. He had been telling the truth.

"I-I think I'm okay...just had a nightmare is all." Chara said releasing herself from Toriel embrace and wiping her eyes.

"Would you like to talk about it?" Asgore asked.

Chara shook her head politely. "No thank you dad."

Asgore smiled. "Let's get you something to eat shall we?"

Asgore stood up and walked out of the room and towards the kitchen.

Toriel smiled. "Why don't you say good morning to Frisk and Asriel?"

Chara's eyes grew. They were here as well? Chara nodded with a smile and followed Toriel out the door. They walked down the hall until they reached a wide open living room. At the end of the living room was a small archway leading to the kitchen. Toriel made her way over to the kitchen, humming a vaguely familiar tune.

Chara gasped in surprise as she turned and saw Frisk and Asriel sitting together on the couch playing a video game.

Asriel leaned back in his chair, groaning in annoyance.

Frisk grinned at him.

"I told you I'm better."

Asriel shook his head. "The only reason I lost is because I had to reload!" Asriel exclaimed.

"Then just switch to your secondary." Frisk retorted.

Asriel muttered something under his breath before realizing Chara was present.

Asriel smiled. "Hey sis, how's it going?" Asriel casually asked.

Asriel raised a brow. "You alright?" He asked, his face taking on a worried expression.

"Y-Yeah I'm alright." Chara said, rubbing at her right eye.

Asriel grinned. "Good because I got news for you."

Chara gave the goat boy a quizzical look as he grabbed his phone from out of his pocket and turned it on.

Frisk sighed and rolled her eyes. "You really have to tease her about this all of time?" Frisk asked.

Asriel nodded. "Course I won't stop, it's too fun."

Asriel held up its phone to Chara's face.

Chara looked confused. On the screen was a text sent by someone named Micheal.

"yo bro was wondering if u knew where chara was? She never responded to my texts, thanks"

"Micheal?" Chara asked. She had never heard of this person before.

"Yeah Micheal, or Satos as we call him on playstation." Asriel replied.

Chara's eyes went wide. She never asked him his name that he used when he was human.

Chara smiled and sprinted to her room, ignoring Asriel and Frisk.

She burst open the door and saw an IPhone 12 with a pink case on her desk. She hurriedly picked it up and turned it on. Though these devices were released long after her time, she has seen many in her experiences following the seven humans throughout the underground. Many had phones such as this.

Chara clicked on the texting app and saw a notification.

"chara, so we have to talk. I don't know how I got here or what's going on. I live across the street, "parents" aren't home. I'll be waiting."

Chara's heart began to beat incredibly fast and she open the closet and threw on a blue hoodie, some sweatpants and found a pair of sneakers tucked in the back of the closet.

She quickly put all the clothings items on and raced out the door. She stopped short of the bathroom and stepped inside. Flicking on the light she looked into the mirror.

She was older than she was when she first died. She looked to be 16 or 17. Chara quickly ran out the door, ignoring Asriel and Frisk and opening the front door.

"I'll eat later!" She shouted behind herself then closed the door.

Chara found herself in a densely packed city street. She waited until there was an opening in the long line of cars and ran across the street and towards the house across from her own.

She hopped up the small flight of marble stairs before knocking on the door.

From the inside, Chara could here footsteps headed towards the door. Chara held her breath as the door open.

Standing in the door was Satos. He looked to be around 17 years old with thick flat blond hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a simple gray t-shirt and basketball shorts.

Chara immediately hugged him.

"It's so good to see you Satos!" Chara exclaimed.

Satos smiled and returned the embrace.

"Been waiting almost a day for you to arrive." Satos said, pulling back from the embrace.

Chara looked confused. "A day?"

Satos nodded. "When I died I immediately went here, guess you held out a long time then?" He asked as he shut the door behind them.

Chara frowned. "They got me only a few minutes later..." Chara said sadly.

Satos crossed his arms and pressed himself against the wall.

"I guess time flows differently here. Do you know where we are anyways?"

Chara looked up at him. "Just before I died the Seraphim came, said he'd create a pocket sized universe for me. But I told him to let you come here...so how have you been here for so long?"

Satos smirked. "Guess right when I died he transferred me here."

Chara sighed. "So what do we do now?"

Satos shrugged.

"Whatever we want."

...

"If that is the term you would liken to describe it as, than yes." The Seraphim responded.

Red looked bewildered.

"So that's it, we won just like that?" Red asked.

The Seraphim turned to Red with a sigh. "You seem disappointed?"

Red scoffed. "N-no it's just I wasn't expectin-"

"I get it, your a fighter." William said, interrupting Red.

Red looked down at her feet. He was right, she did enjoy combat. And now that this was all over she would have to find something else to fight.

"The demons have all been transported out of the planet and most likely back to hell. The fight is over."

And with that, the Seraphim vanished into a yellow mist.

Red and William just stared at one another, both not expecting that outcome.

Behind them, a blue slipgate had formed.

Red sighed and followed William through the slipgate.

...

Samuel Hayden and the Khan Makyr stood on the bridge of the Fortress of Doom, admiring the view.

The Khan Makyr turned to Samuel with a smile. "I'm glad we were able to get those two both to a better place."

Samuel nodded his robotic head. "Likewise, I never expected hell to recruit children to its cause."

The Khan Makyrs expression returned to a neutral state.

"I'm assuming you returned the body to the UAC Atlantica facility back on earth?" She asked, turning back to the view.

"Yes, I have returned MY body to the facility."

Samuel turned to the slipgate to see Red and William walking out.

Samuel walked over to the Slayer. "Have you completed the mission?"

The Slayer nodded his head and walked off.

Samuel then turned to Red. "We will give you both the night to rest before we return you back to your dimension." Samuel said in his robotic voice.

Red smiled. "Thanks, I'll see you later then." She said with a yawn and walked off, demon blood dripping onto the floor.

Samuel sighed. "I'll have to clean that later..."

William stomped down the halls and into his man cave, the door locking behind him. Red who had been following closely behind smiled and walked past the room. She hadn't seen Lucas anywhere so she assumed he was in the room they had shared the previous night.

The door automatically opened and Red stepped in, a smile immediately forming on her face as she witnessed the sight that lay before her.

Lucas laid, sprawled out on the bed with no shirt. The covers had been torn off and he was snoring.

At the sound of the door opening Lucas stirred. He slowly sat up and rubbed his eyes. Upon seeing Red he smirked.

"Your a mess, take a shower then we'll talk." Lucas pointed to a door on the right which led to the bathroom.

Red showered and put on a tank top and some athletic shorts that she had found in the bathroom closet. Red stepped out the door to see Lucas almost falling asleep.

"Lucas."

Lucas opened his eyes and turned to Red. "Sorry, so what happened?"

Red walked over and sat on the side of the bed.

"We ended up killing all of them. Satos,Chara, the Marauder."

Lucas smiled. "So we won?" He eagerly asked.

Lucas shifted his position to a more upright one and scratched at his chin.

"So uh, lets talk."

Red raised a brow, giving him a grin. "Aren't we talking?"

"Yeah, but we gotta talk about..." Lucas trailed off as Red scooted closer to him and smashed her lips against his.

Lucas returned it eagerly.

Red released panting.

"I prefer action, talking gets boring something." Red said giving him a suggestive smile as she reached for his pants.

Lucas smirked. "Alright."

And he grabbed her by her sides and pushed her down on top of the bed before flipping her over.

...

7 hours later

She didn't want to go back.

Despite her new found liking towards Lucas, she didn't belong on Earth, any Earth. She was born and raised to kill. She even lived in hell for a good chunk of her life. She spent almost her entire life killing. And she enjoyed it. After half a millennium she barley killed. She tried everything to get into any form of combat. She joined the Royal Guard, choosing the most dangerous combat roles in order to get that same rush she longed for. But it never was the same. Demons were tough, they struggled and never backed down. Monsters? Well they begged, gave up and didn't put up a good enough fight. So she became a mercenary and opted to take the most dangerous jobs she could find. Guarding wanted VIP's, assassination missions, you name it she did it. And it wasn't enough. When the barrier broke she simply gave up and attempted to give a relatively normal life. But then William came and that rush she had longed for came back at full force. By the end of it she was enjoying herself far too much to go back now. There were an infinite number of demons and an equally infinite number of missions to complete. This was just the first. She was staying.

Red opened her eyes and wriggled out of Lucas's grasp. He had been holding her with two hands by the waist and was still sleeping.

Red sat up on the bed and looked down at Lucas with a grin before standing up with a yawn.

She scanned the room, searching for her discarded pieces of clothing that had been thrown in seemingly random directions across the room.

Gathering her articles of clothing she dressed and walked out.

She made her way down the hall and towards the Slayers man cave. She could hear what she thought was-

Was that heavy metal?

Red raised an eyebrow and knocked. The heavy metal stopped and a pair of large metal footsteps made their way to the door.

The doors open and the Slayer appeared in Reds vision. He was still wearing his armor, although it seemed to have been cleaned.

In his left hand, slung over his shoulder was a...electric crucible guitar?

Red smiled and giggled.

"What?" The Slayer asked.

"You play the guitar?"

The Slayer nodded, looking at his guitar before looking back at Red.

"Did you need something?"

Red sighed and nodded.

"I'm staying."

William looked down at her, his eyes narrowing under the helmet.

"No." The Slayer bluntly said.

"William, I don't belong on earth. I was born and raised to be a killer, and I spent a millennia doing primarily that. Like you, I was robbed of many of the aspects that made me who I was. I cannot go back to living on a fucking farm. I was raised to kill demons, and I will continue to do that.." There was no forcing her to go. And she was right. Despite him not needing her, Samuel and the remnants of the U.A.C could really use her.

The Slayer let out a long sigh.

"What about Lucas?" He asked.

Red frowned. "Despite how much I've grown to care for him, I can't possibly stay with him. I would be happy to a degree but eventually I'd get tired of settling down." Red said. Her frown subsided, her face returning to a neutral expression before asking. "Would I be able to visit him?"

The Slayer narrowed his eyes. "Most likely."

Silence befell the room, none of them having anything else they needed to say.

Red decided to break the silence.

"I...I'll go let him know." Red said before turning on her heels with a nod and exiting the room.

...

Lucas wiped his eyes with a yawn and proceeded to dawn his clothes from the previous day. He was about to exit the room when the door opened and in walked in Red.

She gave a small smile, one that didn't reach her eyes.

Lucas frowned, seeing that something was wrong.

"Is...something wrong?" Lucas asked.

Red sighed and nodded. "I can't go back with you."

Lucas stared down at her for a moment, his expression remaining neutral before he cracked a smile.

"Honestly, I wasn't expecting you to go with me."

Red stared at him, mouth slightly agape. Lucas spoke again. "Your...a lot like him. I see it in the way you fight, you just can't get enough. So if saving reality from Hell on the daily suites your fancy, then go ahead."

Red's frown did not waver however. "I'll visit you alright?"

Lucas's smile widened.

"I know you will."

...

One week later

It had been just over a week since Chara's defeat. Red had officially moved into the fortress of doom and was eagerly awaiting her first assignment.

She stood on the bridge, looking down upon Earth. Her eyes narrowed as she fiddled with her sword. Where was the fight?

The door to the bridge opened behind her and Samuel Hayden stepped through, hands clasped behind his back.

Reds face brighten, has something come up?

"Has something come up Doctor Hayden?" Red asked eagerly.

The cyborg turned his attention towards the woman and nodded, causing her to practically jump with joy.

"The U.A.C Atlantica Facility down on earth has stopped responding and demonic activity was spotted a few kilometers south from the facilities location." Samuel explained.

"Demons...didn't they all collectively vanish?" Red asked, cocking her head to the side.

The cyborg let out an annoyed sigh and nodded. "They did, at least we thought they did. You and the Slayer will be sent to deal with the threat." The cyborgs.

Red grinned. "Shouldn't be a problem."

The cocking of a Shotgun could be heard and both Red and Samuel turned to see William making his way towards them. His armor however was different. The big takeaway was the color pallet, which was now mostly white. His helmets mouth area now had a set of teeth forming a thin line. His armor looked beautiful, and almost heavenly.

Red's eyes narrowed. "Where'd you get that?" She asked curiously.

The slayer paused, weapon still in hand and looked down at Red.

"Gift from the Khan Makyr..."

Red's grin returned. "Why don't I get a hot suit of armor like?" Red asked, whining playfully and running a finger down the armors chest plating.

The Slayer sighed in annoyance and walked past her and towards the now opening slip gate.

The portal fully opened and William practically leapt through.

Red smirked.

"It's not over yet, time to rip and tear."

And with a cry of excitement she jumped through.

Yep, stories over.

After completing this story I think I've learned a few things.

One, actually plan out the entire story before writing.

And two, don't drag on the story just to make it longer.

I feel like that this story could've been a lot shorter but I kinda added a lot of filler.

Besides that I hope you all enjoyed this story, I sure had fun writing it.

If you are wondering about sequel, I do have plans. However I won't write one unless people request it through reviews or DM's

Secondly, I'm going to be writing two more stories. One, called FEAR the wretched soul which already had it's first chapter released. And the second one which I'm still thinking on.

Have a good day and don't forgot to rip and tear.
