I was in the kitchen with Yuuki and our mom. I was busy cooking while they were hanging around, talking with me.

Now I had come more accustomed to life in Japan I had started picking up my hobbies again. My hobbies included cooking, backing, drawing, painting, dancing and singing. I had also started doing some martial arts and following self-defence classes.

It felt good doing those things again, getting back in the groove of life.

"Onee-chan, what are you making today?"

"Dad told me I should show off tonight and make something special so I will make Kaiseki Ryori."

"Huh Keisaki Ryoo?"

I smiled. "Kaiseki Ryori. It's a traditional multi-course dinner. It's a dinner with multiple small dishes."

Kaiseki Ryori is a multiple-course dinner that is usually served in restaurants. I wanted to bring that experience to home so I was making it only in a smaller version.

"Isn't that a bit much to make?" My mom asked.

"I bought everything yesterday so I only had to cook today." I smiled. "Besides, I like doing this."

I started making all the dishes, first the cold ones so I could put them away in the fridge. After that I started prepping for the hot ones. While they were cooking I prepped the things for the desserts.

At some point Yuuki had run off and went outside to play.

"You are really good at this."

"I used to cook all the time and learn new dishes. For a few years I actually was the person who cooked for everyone so I got used to doing it. It was a moment for myself to do what I liked but also didn't have to think about all the stressful stuff."

I started focusing on what I was doing, I barely heard my mom.

"Have you been stressed?"

Yes.

"Because of all the things you have been doing?"

"Yes."

"Because of Ryou-chan?"

"Yes."

"Because you like him?"

I heard what she said. I wanted to deny it, deny my feelings. Deny I had ever liked him, made my feelings for him disappear. I looked up.

"Yes. And because I miss him."

"What happened, Mitsuki?"

"What happened? I wonder what happened."

"Did you tell him and he rejected you, is that what happened?"

I shook my head.

"He doesn't know I like him. The other day dad got angry with us and he told Shirogane to stop acting so close. He told Shirogane that he should stop making it seem like he was hitting on me. Because it seemed like we were a couple… Shirogane said he wasn't interested in me in that way."

"Ah, I see. That's why you were crying."

I just nodded.

"But you aren't distancing from Ryou-chan, he is from you. Or am I wrong?"

"No, that is what is happening. I don't know why. Maybe it's because he doesn't want to be around me anymore, maybe he hates me."

"Oh no, I very much doubt he hates you."

"He told me to break my promise I made with Ami-san and him."

"Ami? You made a promise?"

"Yeah, I promised I would look after Shirogane like he always looked after me. I know it's been years since I have made that promise." I felt tear well up in my eyes.

"You can't keep all promises, especially seeing you and Ryou-chan have been separated for years."

"I know. But he has been keeping his end of the promised. He has been protecting me all this time."

I smiled sadly at my mom.

"I just got those memories back, it feels so fresh for me. It feels like some of those things happened to me just yesterday. Even though it's been 13 years."

I continued what I had been doing.

"You are processing memories from years back, of course that's hard. Just don't get stuck in the past."

"I am not stuck in the past, I am trying to figure out how to puzzle everything together so I can figure out who I am now. That's why I have been so busy."

"Look what this time has brought you though, you have been doing so much by yourself. You have grown so much as a person. You are really making me proud."

I smiled. "I am happy to hear you say that."

I finished prepping everything and cleaning up.

"I think I am going to lay down for a little bit. I am really tired."

"You go on ahead. I am going to see if your dad wants coffee."

I walked out the back door of the kitchen to the back stairs and was halfway up the stairs when I realized I forgot to put away one of the dishes.

"It's smells nice in here."

I had just reached the door when I heard someone speak.

"Oh Ryou-chan. Yeah it does right? Mitsuki has been busy cooking."

"She has?"

"Yes. She has been every weekend, she even made it possible for kitchen staff to have off the evenings in the weekend."

"I didn't know she could cook."

I let go of the doorknob. I quickly turned around and walked upstairs. I did not want to see him right now.

I stood on my balcony leaning on the balustrade. It started to warm up a little bit now we had reached March. My birthday was getting nearer as well.

I sighed.

"Why are you sighing little niece?"

I flinched and turned around seeing Rido standing there.

"What are you doing here?"

"I came to visit you."

"Go away."

"Don't be like that. I really wanted to talk to you."

"I don't want to talk to you."

"Well too bad as I have a few things to talk to you about."

Slowly he was getting nearer to me, which I didn't like. I was being pushed into a corner and I had nowhere to move to.

"That time, at Christmas. You seemed to be very displeased seeing me."

"I have no clue what you are talking about."

He stood right in front of me.

"Really? Then why are you like this? Why do you fear me?"

He grabbed my face with his hand.

"Because who wouldn't be scared of someone who does this to them?"

He glared at me, and I was forced to look in his blue and brown red-ish eyes.

"You are knowing far more than you show, Mitsuki."

"Let me go!"

"But where is the fun in that? Now, tell me."

I just stared back at him, refusing to talk.

He raised his hand and poked in the middle of my chest.

"Or should I just force my way into your brain and heart?"

"You will not find what you are looking for."

"Really? Then why are your eyes glowing? Like they used to do back then."

My eyes? I had seen in visions that Mitsuki-san, the two women I had always seen, both had blue eyes that glowed when they had need for something but I never found out what it was they used or how their eyes glowed.

"Back then? What are you talking about?"

"You don't know? Well let me enlighten you then. You are reincarnated, multiple life times. Like me you have taken something from each lifetime, your eye colour."

I was surprised. So those visions had been memories after all. Only they had been memories of past lives. And the man I had always seen in those past lives that looked so much like Rido had actually been him. But did he just say I had been reincarnated? That meant that he and I had been living for thousands of years!

"So you have been around all this time?"

"Well, not all of the time. Because of that annoying Kaname."

Kaname, I had heard that name before. In one of the women's memories he had been a constant. He had been by her side, like a trainee and companion.

"But you should know all about him, if you have all your memories that is. So tell me, have you?"

He had no right to know about what I remembered and what not. He didn't know I remembered him quite well and that was why I was being scared of him.

Suddenly with his free hand he grabbed my throat. He lifted me from the ground.

"If you're not going to speak then I will just force it out of you. Give me my powers back!"

Powers? Ah he meant those powers. I do not intend to give them back. He would be a nightmare with them back.

"If you choke… me… I won't… give… you… anything."

I started gasping for air and kicking with my legs. I kicked hard enough to hit him right in the groin, he let loose and I fell onto the ground. I gasped for air.

"What the hell!" I shot a look at him. "What the hell are you doing?"

Strangely he recovered fairly quickly the hit in the groin. He straight up kicked me in my stomach and I winched. He kept kicking me and I couldn't guard me from it.

Where is security? Why has no one reacted to us?

He tried to kick again but I grabbed his leg.

"Fine, just stop. I will give you what you want so stop this."

He pulled his leg back, so I tried to stand up but Rido kicked me one more time and I collapsed. I shot him an angry look.

"I cannot do what you want if you keep doing this you bastard."

I grabbed the balustrade and slowly stood up.

"Don't you dare touch me again or I will refuse to give you anything you want."

"Well Mitsuki that would be sad because then I would ask my men to touch your family, starting with your little brother. And that seems like something you don't want to happen."

"Don't you dare touch a hair on my families' head or you're dead."

"Oh such tough talk but you won't be able to do that, can you?"

I gritted my teeth. I knew I wouldn't be able to kill him but I was really angry.

I closed my eyes.

Give Rido is powers back.

I hated this and I was going to hate the next part as well.

"Give me your hand."

He gave me his hand and I closed my eyes once again. I focused on returning what had been taken and I could feel tingling throughout my body.

I slumped slightly and leaned against the balustrade. I looked at Rido who was all giddy.

"Well then little Mitsuki. You better keep having your visions and learn how to have everyone turn back to their former state. Like you should have done ages ago."

"I refuse."

"Oh, oh. You refuse? Well too bad you have no way of refusing as you will make it happen or everyone who you hold dear will die. But for now this will be enough, let her family go."

"If they are hurt I will make you feel the same hurt they have."

"Give it a try Mitsuki, but I doubt you will ever be able to."

Rido jumped down the balcony and when I looked down I could see nothing but security lying on the ground.

I will show you!

Right then the door to my room burst open and I saw my dad running in.

"Mitsuki!"

I had been fighting to keep control over my body but as my dad reached closer to me I was no longer able to keep up the fight and fell down to the ground, losing consciousness.

The days after the attack of Rido I had a hard time.
I had been bruised heavily, bruised ribs and back. Doctor said I had been quite lucky, as I could have had a punctured lung or spinal problems.

It had also been quite a conversation, the one I had with my parents after what had happened. I told them about how Rido had often appeared on those memories. I also told them about the evil Rido had done in the past, only I couldn't tell them about what Rido had done to them.

"Can't tell us about our memories?"

"I can't. I can only remember the things that happened to me or have been told to me. I don't know much about your lives except we were related in some way or another. I just can tell you Rido will be a danger."

"So what does this mean?"

"It means that Rido will continue to torment us, only this time we have nothing against him. Because you have no recollection of your past lives."

"How do we regain them?" My mom asked.

"If I knew to do that I would have told you, probably. I think."

"You don't sound sure."

"Would you even want to know about those things?"

"Well how bad would it be?" Mom took my hand in her hand.

"If it would help you I would do it in a heartbeat."

"Thank you. Right now I think it would be best if I don't go looking for a way to do that though. I do not want to play into his hands right now."

I squeezed mom's hand.

"But if I figure it out I will tell you."

It was my birthday and I wanted, to any extent, stay in bed and refuse to see daylight. I couldn't though as my parents had promised to take us to universal Japan. It was a place I had never gone and had been a big dream of mine. It wasn't actually that hard to go there but I had been busy and going alone didn't seem like that much fun. So going as a family seemed really nice, besides it also was the first actual outing to a theme park as a family.

I sat down on the side of my bed and lifted my pajama shirt. The bruises on my stomach were now all kinds of colors, it was still extremely sore but I could do things by myself and that was the most important thing.

I got dressed and went downstairs.

"Good morning onee-chan!" Yuuki looked at me happily.

We ate breakfast together and after that we went to the theme park.
Yuuki dragged me everywhere and anywhere in the park and Daisuke and I went into the roller coasters together as Yuuki was still too young and our parents refused to go in any of them. Daisuke and I were both big Harry Potter fans so we had a blast at that part of the theme park.

Suddenly we heard over the intercoms. "Dear guests, we are temporary closing Hogwarts, please leave this area…"

Daisuke and I were together, our parents were in a different area but we both had no clue which one. We were following the crowd to the exit when we both saw the mews run past us. Daisuke and I looked at each other, nodded and immediately ran into the direction the mews were in.

"Daisuke, you look whether there are still people on that side, I will go this side. We meet here when everything is cleared."

"Okay!"

"Mitsuki-chan?" Ichigo looked at me surprised.

"Ignore me! Daisuke and I will make sure no one is left behind or can intervene."

"Okay, thank you!"

I kept following the tracks and checking if there were people left when I heard something.
I heard a cry from a small child. I ran into an alley and found a little boy.

"You lost your parents?"

He stopped wailing and nodded.

"Come here I will bring you back, okay?" I reached out my hand.

The little boy grabbed it and I lifted him up. We walked back into the direction I came from.
Right then I jumped back flinching as the quick movement hurt me, seeing something rushing into my direction. Mint slammed into a wall.

"Get out of here, now!"

I quickly nodded and started running to the exit. The little boy hid his face against my shoulder.
Right then the chimera animal came into my direction. There was a food stand in front of me.

Please let me move it to protect us!

I moved my hand and a gust of wind moved the food stand right into the chimera animal, stopping it in its tracks. I quickly continued running and saw Daisuke in the distance.

"Onee-chan!"

Right then I saw Shirogane stand beside Daisuke.

"Take that child and Daisuke away from here."

I nodded and grabbed Daisuke's hand, pulling him to follow me. We continued to run until we had reached another part of the park. We slowed down and went to the information desk to help the little boy find his parents.

"Mama! Papa!"

I let the boy down and he ran towards his parents.

"Sora!" His parents hugged him.

"Thank you so much." The dad said.

We spoke for a few minutes and then said our goodbyes. The little boy waved while he was carried away. Daisuke and I waved back, smiling.

"This is where you two are."

We turned around and met the eyes of a very angry mother, our mother.

"Yeah, sorry. A little boy got lost so we reunited him with his parents."

Behind her I could see dad and Yuuki talking to Shirogane and Zakuro.
We were busted.

"Are you two crazy? You should have followed the crowd and left. Instead you went back."

"Sorry." We both said.

Mom sighed. "You did help that boy, but still. Don't do that ever again! Especially you Mitsuki!"

"Okay." We both said in unison.

Daisuke and I looked at each other and started laughing. Luckily the rest of the day went by without any trouble and we were able to enjoy, laugh and spent time as a family.
