Graduation day was nearing at Garreg Mach, and all was quiet in the new spring. Edelgard and Byleth were alone in the Goddess Tower. Edelgard had only just arrived and was shaking off the cold.

"So, Prof-no, Byleth. You called me here for a reason, I presume?"

Byleth cleared her throat. "Yes. I wanted to talk to you about some things before you graduate."

Edelgard giggled. "Funny. I had planned on doing much the same myself."

"Well you go first then, Edelgard."

Edelgard took a deep breath. "Professor, do you remember the Flame Emperor? And those they worked with?"

Byleth nodded. "Yes, how could I forget?"

Edelgard swallowed. "What if I told you I was the Flame Emperor? That I was planning to start a war against Rhea and the church, even the Kingdom and the Alliance if I had to? That I worked with scum like Kronya and Solon as means to an end so I could take down both sets of puppet masters at once?"

Byleth thought for a moment. "El…."

Edelgard shook her head. "Don't worry, my darling. I have no plans of doing that any longer. Spending time with you and the club… I've learned that maybe there is a peaceful solution to our issues. I plan on working with Claude and Dimitri to negotiate a peaceful end to the nobility while also waging war, but only on those like my uncle, Solon, and Kronya, those who slither in the dark."

Byleth smiled. "I'm glad you could see the errors of your ways of thinking. I still love you, and in fact, I want to show you why I called you here." She reached into her pocket and handed over a silver ring marked with gemstones. Edelgard gasped. "Edelgard von Hresvelg. I have loved you with every fiber of my being. I want to be by your side through peace and war, poverty and luxury, stinky diapers and clean ones. Will you marry me?"

Tears of joy streamed down Edelgard's face. "Oh my darling Byleth! Yes! Yes, a thousand times yes!" She held out her hand, and Byleth slipped Jeralt's ring onto her now fiancée's finger. She wrapped Byleth into a hug. "I love you Mommy."

"I love you too, baby girl." Byleth said, and she kissed Edelgard deeply with a new passion that only an engaged couple could have.

-A Few Hours later-

Dimitri thought for a moment. "So, let me get this straight. You've been working with the evil people we've had to fight all semester, but you've changed your mind and want us to join you in going to war against them, and to reform the church peacefully?"

Edelgard nodded. "That's right."

"I'm not sure I believe you, but I'll let Claude be the deciding factor here."

Claude winked. "Ever the third wheel, aren't I Professor? Tell you what, Edelgard, give us proof that you're willing to fight these guys, and I'll say yes."

Edelgard smiled as she manifested her Crest of Seiros. "Of course. Both of you are aware I bear a Minor Crest of Seiros, which traditionally runs though the Hresvelg line. However, only the professor and I are aware of this." Edelgard let the Crest of Seiros fade before summoning a new crest, shaped as a flame. "The Crest of Flames. The lost Crest of Nemesis, which only the Professor and I bear now. This was manifested out of gruesome experiments which whitened my hair, shortened my own lifespan, and ended the lives of all ten of my siblings. You think I would let myself be a puppet of such scum forever? They think they hold my strings, but I have been holding theirs, to bide my time for war. But the club, and my professor, taught me that I could be peaceful in my ways."

Claude smiled. "Alright, I'm in. Sorry to hear about all that's happened to you Edelgard."

"It's quite alright. When we crush those who slither in the dark, all will be avenged." Edelgard reached out and hugged Claude. Claude was so taken back that he nearly fell out of his chair.

Dimitri stood up. "I'll lend you my support. But I have just one more question."

Edelgard nodded. "Ask away."

"Why are we meeting in a nursery filled with what looks like adult sized baby items?"

Edelgard began to blush. "Um… well, the rooms here are soundproofed…"

Claude winked. "Not well enough as I recall. 'Oh mommy, fuck me! Oh, help me cum!' Sounds like you had a bit more than a crush on Teach, huh?"

Edelgard went redder than her leggings. "We resoundproofed it after that!"

"Hey, just teasing. We don't really care what's going on here or in your bedroom." Claude said with a smirk.

Edelgard collected herself. "Well Claude, Dimitri. One month after graduation, we'll go after those who slither in the dark."

Dimitri looked puzzled. "Why a month, Edelgard?"

Edelgard smiled and flashed her ring. "Because I want to take my honeymoon with my wife before shit hits the fan."

"Congratulations! Who's the lucky gu-girl?" Dimitri said.

"Professor Byleth of course!" Edelgard said with pride.

Claude smiled. "Congrats. I've tried proposing to Dimitri, but he keeps telling me we need to marry women to continue the royal lines or whatever."

Edelgard nodded. "Makes sense. Maybe you two can remain lovers. As for kids, well, I figured Byleth and I would have a sperm donor."

Dimitri blushed. "How did you figure out we're dating? I'd have guessed Claude was being an ass."

Edelgard flashed a wink. "I'm one of the biggest lesbians at this school, you think I don't know a gay couple when I see one?"

Claude laughed. "She's got a point."

-A few days later-

The graduation ceremony had gone off without a hitch, and now the students were all going back to their homes. Accompanying Edelgard to Enbarr was Byleth, nervous but excited to see what would happen with Edelgard's father, Emperor Ionius.

As the pair neared the throne room, Edelgard noticed Byleth's sweating.

"Byleth, it's okay. My father will love you. Just relax." Edelgard said.

"I know, it's just so nervewracking meeting someone so important for the first time."

Edelgard smiled. "Well I'm his heir, but you took to meeting me like a glove."

Byleth pouted. "But… but that was different. We met with me not even knowing you were a princess."

Edelgard giggled. "Byleth, I think you're slipping into littlespace. Need me to change your diaper really quick?"

Byleth shook her head. "Nope, still dry! How about you, baby girl?"

Edelgard reddened a bit. "No Mommy…"

The doors were opened to the throne room, grandly decorated with the mark of the Adrestian eagle. In the throne sat Ionius IX, the older and feeble emperor. He smiled a little as he beckoned Edelgard and Byleth closer.

"El, my daughter. It is good to see you. Who is it you've brought to meet me?" Ionius asked.

Edelgard cleared her throat. "Father, this is Byleth Eisner, a professor at the Officers' Academy. She has been my teacher, but as we spent the last year together, we grew to something more. First we were just teacher and student, then to lovers. And recently, Byleth proposed to me. I want her to become my wife, and I hers. But before we decided to get married, we thought it best to gain your opinion and blessing."

Ionius smiled further. "El, my dearest daughter. I married for political reasons and took many concubines. But if I had the option to marry for love, I'd take it. There are other ways to make peace, and besides, you can take a political concubine to produce your heirs as I did. And I'm proud of you for telling me the truth instead of eloping. You've found quite the beauty, and I'm glad you're happy with her."

Byleth bowed. "So you'll grant your blessing?"

Ionius chuckled then coughed a bit. "Yes, Byleth Eisner. You will be the finest bride my daughter can find."

-A few days later-

War was coming soon, but on this day, there was only peace and bliss. Byleth and Edelgard both stood at the alter of Garreg Mach's cathedral, both in gorgeously crafted white dresses, and Edelgard donning a silver tiara. Each girl had three bridesmaids; Byleth had Petra, Mercedes, and Bernadetta, while Edelgard had Dorothea, Constance, and Lysithea. Rhea held the ceremony as dozens of Empire citizens and all of the graduating class of the Officers' Academy watched politely.

"Do you, Edelgard von Hresvelg, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?" Rhea asked.

"I do." Edelgard said, tears welling in her eyes.

Rhea smiled. "And do you, Byleth Eisner, take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"

Byleth nodded and sniffled. "Yes, I do!"

Rhea smiled warmly. "Then by the power vested in me by the Church of Seiros and by Sothis herself, I pronounce you to be wives. You may seal this bond with a kiss."

Byleth leaned down to Edelgard and brought her into a deep passionate kiss that went beyond any kiss they'd had before. They kissed not as girlfriends or lovers, but as wives. They broke away after just a few moments to the crowd cheering and applauding.

As the crowd departed for the reception being held in the reception hall and the brides retrieved their purses, Edelgard nudged Byleth with her elbow.

"What's up, El? Did you need something?" Her voice lowered. "Need a change?"

Edelgard nodded.

Byleth kissed her forehead. "Then come on, sweet pea, let's get that taken care of before we go to the reception."

Byleth lead Edelgard off to a bathroom at the side of the church, and laid her down on the changing table. "Goodness El, I think you soaked this one plenty! Anything else you need to let out before I change you?"

Edelgard blushed and shook her head. "Nope, I put a buttplug in this morning so I wouldn't hafta poop, Mommy."

Byleth smiled and kissed her wife's forehead. "Such a little smarty pants you are! Let's get this yucky diaper off you." She untaped Edelgard's now yellow diaper, balled it up, and tossed it in the trashcan. "Now, we just need to wipe you down…" Byleth produced wipes from her purse. Edelgard had to surpress a moan as Byleth wiped down her mound carefully. Next Byleth selected another plain white diaper(As something colorful would be more noticeable under their wedding dresses) and taped it snugly to Edelgard's rear.

"There you go, little one, all snug and dry!" Byleth teased.

Edelgard blushed. "Thank you Mommy…"

Byleth took her bride by the hand and they left the restroom to find their bridesmaids waiting for them.

Dorothea smiled. "Ah, you two looked so lovely! Bet someone needed a diaper change, huh?"

Edelgard reddened and looked away. "Ack, yes… But only because I drank a lot of coffee getting ready!"

Mercedes simply giggled. "Well, you have to admire their practicality. I doubt you could use the potty easily in a dress like that.

Constance laughed. "And I, Constance von Nuvelle…"

"… Have the stinkiest diapers this side of Fodlan? Because you do." Lysithea snapped.

"No I don't!"

Bernadetta tried to pull up her hood only to realize she was in a cute purple dress, and couldn't do so. "Um… Can we not fight? I just want to have a slice of cake and maybe a dance with Felix before I turn in."

Petra nodded. "Yes, we are here for Byleth and Edelgard's wedding, not to sit here and argue over who has the stinkiest of diapers."

Edelgard nodded. "C'mon girls, let's head to the reception hall. Byleth and I would like to be a part of our wedding, believe it or not."

And so the members of the bridal party departed to the reception hall to enjoy the merriment. Each girl gorged themselves on fine food, danced with beautiful women and handsome men, and enjoyed the lively hood of the wedding.

That night, when the food was eaten, the dancing had ceased, and the merriment had died down, Edelgard and Byleth held each other close as they cuddled in t-shirts and diapers. They had taken up the bedroom in their former nursery, though Edelgard promised a grander one at Enbarr after the war, along with a honeymoon. As they dozed, they remembered the good times with the Black Eagle Babies, and the love they had for each other.
