13. An Unexpected Matter of Life or Death

Balto's p.o.v

I can hear Jenna barking loudly in pain from within the house. Rosy and the doctor provide support for her on my behalf. I can't hide my stress and anxiety from Aleu. "Mom will be alright" Aleu assures me. Rosy's sad facial expression proves her wrong. "The puppy is breeched. It is a matter of life or death for Jenna and the puppy" Rosy informs Aleu and me.
