Chapter 11 - Introduction
Backstage at the Timothy North Memorial Theater, the lights were bright in the lavish green room that Gothicthundra and BCBDrums occupied. GT's conspicuous duffel bag now lay on the ground between them where GT was unzipping it, while BCB fussed over her long, golden-brown curls in the mirror. She turned at the sound of the zipper and her brow furrowed as GT smirked and handed her friend a pair of roller blades as she sat down in a plush chair to strap on her own.
"This going to be great..." GT said with a smirk. "Gotta make that entrance...show-stopping."
BCB carefully sat in a chair and hiked her dress up before examining the black roller blades with a worried eye.
"Okay, but when I can't stop and start heading for the edge of the stage, catch me."
GT, having put her sparkly silver blades on with practiced ease, clicked them together and stood up to spin around.
"No worries, I got you... Ohm...might have to watch your dress a bit... But this will be epic!"
BCB finished tightening the blades on her ankles and held her skirt with both hands as she carefully stood, staring at her hem worriedly. But she looked up at GT with a knowing smirk.
"I'll agree with you once we're actually out there."
The two women helped themselves to some of their specially prepared cheese and mustard snacks, GT spinning around on her roller blades while BCB wobbled on hers as they waited for their cue.
About 1,600 people were seated in the main portion of the North Memorial Theater. There was a large screen showing the event title The 15th Kim Possible Fannies Awards and the hashtag #15KPFA underneath it.
It carried a TV-14 rating for Dialogue, Language, and Violence.
The normal KP theme, but the instrumental version, began to play as a female voiceover announced:
"This is the 15th Annual Kim Possible Fannies Awards! And here are your hosts. Gothicthundra and BCBDrums!"
The theme was played for the full minute and fifteen seconds before it died down. The curtain was raised and GT and BCB came out onto the main stage. The pair executed their planned choreography, GT zipping right while BCB moved left at a more cautious speed. GT spun impressively, her silver roller blades catching the light as she smirked, while BCB used her hair to her advantage, letting it flow impressively as her own spin was less than graceful. The pair skated back to center stage amid a raucous amount of applause and met at the microphone where GT leaned forward eagerly.
"Hello, everyone! And welcome to the 15th Annual Kim Possible Fannies Awards!" GT announced. "I am Gothicthundra but you may call me GT, and this is my partner-in-crime, BCBDrums, or BCB for short."
"It has been a big year for the Kimmunity," began BCB.
"Especially for Drakgo!" added GT quickly.
"With nearly one hundred new fanfics written for our favorite ship!" BCB concluded proudly. "And plenty yet for the fandom as a whole."
"The live-action movie has gained its own solid fan following, and the Kimmunity is vibing along with all of the fans, new and old," GT continued.
"It has been a year of growing friendships, optimism, and excitement," BCB said, her throat tightening slightly with emotion. "The year 2019 has been a great time to be part of the Kimmunity!"
GT smirked knowingly up at BCB and then straightened to get into the specifics of the ceremony.
"We have an exciting ceremony for everyone tonight! Like the two past ceremonies that Sharpie hosted, it is going to be a three-hour long ceremony divided into two portions of ninety minutes each. There will be a twenty minute intermission for everyone to stretch their legs after the Most Unlikely/Unique award."
BCB then added, "As Sharper would say, per the traditions of the KP elders, here are the winners from last year's ceremony."
The screen behind them then changed to the title of Winners of the 14th Annual Kim Possible Fannies Awards (2018). One by one, it presented a picture of the winning author with his/her Golden Rufus in hand and under said photo was the category they won in.

The two were now standing in the middle of the room, enveloped in silence, and Kim noticed that Ron was floating away from her.
"Please Ron…don't go!" A frail hand reached out to the man she had loved for her entire life. "I… I want to go with you."
Ron's slowly fading form smiled as he answered. "I'm sorry Kim, but you can't. It's not your time. You still have a few more good years left. I waited for you during my lifetime, and I can wait for you in eternity. I love you KP." (Whitem, Last Dance)

After the screen finished scrolling through of all the award winners, as has been tradition, the image melted back into the current logo.
"We will take a commercial break, but when we come back, we will present the winners of Best KP-Style Name and Best KP Original Character," GT announced.
The Council had approved the use of using 2010s songs for the commercial breaks a couple of months ago and the first song to be played during the commercial break was Katy Perry's "Teenage Dream."
AN: Forgive the two-month delay but both me and BCB have been extremely and overwhelmingly busy with work. Hopefully, things have lightened up a bit that we can post the winners in a timely manner.
