Standing in front of this tall vampire, I put my hands behind my back and smirked.
"I'm surprised you don't recognize me..." I spoke slowly.
Max looked confused and shook his head. "I... I don't" He glanced at his boys. David stood next to the couch that the other three were lounged in. Michael and Sam stood behind me but further back so not to crowd me. Michael smirked and watched him intently with his hands at his sides, ready if Max decided to attack. Sam had a deep frown but had his hands in his jacket pockets as he looked relaxed.
I smiled and looked up at the ceiling as if I was in thought. I playfully tapped my chin as I rocked on my heels. "It's sad really. I thought you would have. Cause I distinctly remember you being the same Maximus that tore apart a family... Mmm let's say in the late 1700s. That sound about right, Michael?" I playfully but sinisterly looked at Mike. He smirked and nodded.
"Sounds right to me."
Max looked from me to my brothers and back again in apprehension. Becoming more nervous and anxious.
"In fact,..." I spoke slowly as I turned back to him and glared at him. "The same family that would have died had I not offered them immortality."
The silence after I spoke thickened. Not even the Boys were making any noise. They watched with bated breath.
"Although I'm confused." I frowned and made a fake pout with my lips. "This wasn't the same batch of boys as before. What? Did you grow tired of those boys as well after another failed attempt at making a family."
Max looked at me in shock and fear. I could feel the anger and confusion of the Boys from the side of me as I never broke my stare into Max's eyes.
"What is she talking about Max?" I heard David growl out. He stepped closer so that he flanked my side.
"Oh! He didn't tell you David?" I grinned a little sadistically at Max. "Max has been trying to make the perfect family for centuries... centuries before you. You boys are his sixth attempt at trying to make his family." I could hear a deep growl rumbling in David's chest. His boys stood up and flanked him as David approached Max.
Max started to stutter. "I-I have no-n-no idea wha-" He broke.
"You were going to try to make us your next family." I spoke with a deadpan looked now. Done playing my food as I stared him down.
"And you would have killed David and the Boys. But... I'm older than you... and stronger... and smarter. My family and I have been looking for you for years... My brothers wanted their revenge. And now here we are." I waved my hands in front of myself. "You just so happened to fall into our laps. And not only that but I think I've grown quite fond of your boys. The Boys do not deserve whatever death you would have given them. So now I offer that my brothers and the Boys have their revenge."
As I spoke, Michael and Sam joined the Boys in circling Max. Each one now showing their faces as they prepared to torture and kill the Man. When I said my last word, I notice that Max had steeled himself and resolved that this was how he was going to die. Max tried to lunge at David but Michael was faster and gripped his neck from behind and pulled him close as Marko and Paul now held Max's arms so he couldn't fight. They now had serious faces on as they glared at the Man with their golden eyes flashing.
"The only thing I have to say is thank you... if it weren't for you, we would have never met Farah... met our sister... Our pack mother. And now you will get torn to pieces like you did our father."
Michael then proceeded to rip Max's throat out and the Boys slowly took turns in causing some type of harm to Max.
I watched for a moment before turning and finding a pitcher of Brandy and some tumblers. "Ahhh... some refreshments." I spoke to myself as I poured myself a glass with some ice. The sounds of muffled screams and blood splatter echoed through the house as I took a sip of the drink. I hummed to myself. "That's some good shit..."
The light of the flames flickered over the seven of us that stood a little bit away from the house that was now on fire. Getting rid of any evidence of what we did to Max whose body was now turning to ash as we speak. I stood in front of the group, watching with the others with indifference on our faces as we watched the fire take hold of the house. The roof collapsed as I turned my head to speak to the Boys.
"Come... we should all go feed." I turned to head to the car. Michael and Sam following me.
"Wait." David spoke from behind me as we arrived at the car. I turned and saw the four looking at me. David stared at me seriously, Marko had a look of anxious and nervous. Paul stood where his side was facing us as he smoked a joint. Dwayne looked at me with a new found respect it seems.
"Yes?" I asked.
"Why... why did you do this for us?" He asked slowly.
I glanced at Michael and he smiled gently at me.
"Cause you did not deserve to be killed for that selfish man's 'dream'. You four deserve to live life without that man's shadow over you." I told him.
"What are we to do now?" David looked at me for guidance.
I smiled gently at him and thought for a moment.
"You can do whatever you want. I'll even offer for you to join us." I waved my hands at myself and my brothers. "It's up to you... we could even see if Lapis works on you. Could get a witch to spell some jewelry for you." I told them. Leaning on the car.
David glanced at his boys and they looked at each other before looking at him and nodding. "I think we will take you up on that offer."
I smiled widely and nodded. "Alright then. We should go feed then!" I tapped the top of my car and the Boys all grinned and raced to their bikes.
