Harry had to laugh at his dads. They had cut the floo off to outside contact and were avoiding owls like the plague. It had only been two weeks since the proposal and Narcissa was already on them about planning. Sirius was starting to wish he had still been the black sheep of the family. Harry swore he would understand if the two decided to elope as long as he was with them. His dads swore they would never marry without him which he took as a sign they were considering. They had put off cementing any plans for Christmas which was more evidence to Harry. They were not the kind of men who wanted some big show of a wedding especially at their age.

Harry headed into town the weekend before the end of term. He needed to finish Christmas shopping and he was looking for something special. He was more and more convinced his dads planned to elope and he wanted a special gift just in case. It would keep if they didn't elope.

He was in a store looking for an item when he heard. "Left it to the last minute have you?"

Harry didn't turn to look at the man. "Following me?"

He could hear the man smirk. "You are shopping in town."

Harry reminded him. "Its not Hogwarts weekend. You have no need to chaperone."

The man shrugged. "All the more reason to shop now when the town is not over run."

Harry eyed him. "Don't let me keep you."

Severus didn't leave. "Trying to hide what you are buying me."

It was Harry's time to smirk at the man. "Why would I be buying you anything?"

Severus shrugged. "Well then you shouldn't mind the company."

Harry went to move past him. "I think I am done."

Severus looked at his bags. "Don't let me stop you. I wouldn't want you to miss a Christmas gift."

Harry grunted. "I have all of them. I was looking for something special."

Severus lifted an eyebrow. "Special?"

Harry grunted. "Don't get any ideas. I meant a wedding gift for my dads."

Severus smiled. "Perhaps I can help you out."

Harry huffed. "I highly doubt that. I'd like them to like it."

"I was at the engagement party and Remus was one of my closest friends." Severus pointed out.

Harry was conflicted as he looked at the man. He knew Severus had a point and that he knew Remus at least as good as Harry or Sirius did. He was a bit worried the man would want to get back at Sirius for a lot. But he was reminded that the man would not want to sabotage a gift for his friend. And he seemed intent on pleasing Harry if only to get him into his bed. Harry had a hard enough time buying them Christmas gifts but a wedding gift he wanted to make extra special. He had been thinking for days and looking all day as he shopped but still drawing a blank.

He against his better judgement agreed to allow the man to help him shop. He was confused when Severus sent his bags off with an elf though he sent them to Harry's tower. Severus didn't explain but he took Harry out and they flagged the night bus down.

Harry was confused as they road the bus headed for London. "What are you up to?"

Severus didn't explain. "I have an idea."

Harry wasn't sure still if he should trust him. "You know you can simply tell me."

Severus was not budging on that. "Where would the fun be in that?"

Harry groaned. "Is that why you came? For fun."

"I thought you could use a hand. And then of course dinner after."

Harry stopped. "Dinner? Who said anything about dinner?"

Severus smiled. "Surely if I am helping you shop you would at least come to dinner with me. Of course my treat."

Harry simmered a bit. "Well at least you don't think I am treating you."

Severus shrugged at that. "Maybe next time."

Harry stood to get off when they stopped at Diagon. "There will be no next time."

Severus followed him down. "You keep saying that."

Harry knew he wasn't going to win this right now. "So where are going?"

Severus led him through the Cauldron and into the alley. "You will see."

Harry eyed the direction they were going in. "It better not be the apothecary."

Severus reminded him. "Even if I might like to torture the mutt even Remus would not approve."

Harry was surprised when the man led him onto one of the side streets. It was not Knockturn alley but was a little used one for school shopping. It was full of some old shops and the odd restaurant and a few hotels as well. It was close to some of the wizard town houses as well. Harry found himself into an odd shop which smelled a lot like leather, canvas and paint. He realized it was some kind of art shop.

He turned to look at the man. "A portrait?"

Severus shook his head. "I noticed the mantle in their apartment is empty."

Harry was surprised. "You have been in?"

Severus reminded. "I have tea with him."

Harry sighed. "I don't see having a family portrait done and they should be here."

Severus shook his head. "I was thinking something a tad different. "

Harry was led to where there were some examples. "A family tree."

Severus explained. "Though they only legally adopted you, it would include you.

The man who ran the shop came over and explained more about it. The tree would be started and could either start with his dads or with their family as the roots. The tree would act like the one at Grimmauld in it would grow and add new members with time. When Harry married and had kids they were automatically add to it. Harry was reminded that the family tree was one of the only things left in Grimmauld from Orion and Walburga, or that had at least not been shut up in the attic. The room it was in had been redecorated except for it. The family crests of all three families could be included as well. As Remus would become a Black like Harry and Sirius the Black crest would be placed at the top of the frame with Potter and Lupin in the bottom corners. Harry thought it had merit and Severus sent an elf as they needed hair from his dads since he was not biologically related to either of them. The man also took some of his hair but also a pensieve memory from Harry. He needed something for the faded background of the painting. Harry chose the image of the home on the coast the three of them loved. It was where they celebrated their engagement and where Harry had signed his adoption papers. The man assured him the piece would be done by Christmas eve and sent.

Harry looked at Severus as they were leaving. "Thank you for that."

Severus smiled. "Are you ready for dinner?"

Harry knew he owed him. "I guess I am hungry."

Severus led him towards a near by restaurant. "I will have to take that I guess."

Harry looked at the place. "Maybe we should go muggle."

Severus reminded him. "We are off the beaten path. No one will see us."

Harry sat down at a table with him. "I guess."

Severus watched the boy over dinner and he hoped that wouldn't be an issue for long. Oh he wanted more then to simply bed the lion. Harry would come around eventually. He was happy the boy had let him take him shopping. He had come up with his own gift for Remus. Remus had let it slip that Severus should not volunteer to chaperone as he did many years. Severus usually only left for dinner with the Malfoys. He was a bit surprised to think the man was inviting him to a private eloping like wedding even if they were friends.

Harry left him when they got to the gates of school after dinner. "I am not going out again. That was just as a thank you nothing else."

It turned out that he had been right about his dads. They had been plotting to elope ever since they had got engaged. It had only a bit to do with Sirius' meddling cousin and her planning. The two of them had not been looking to have some big formal wedding even without her. They had never been traditional and they wanted a wedding that would suit them. And having to escape his crazy cousin and her plans was just incentive. They planned to leave Christmas morning and be gone until jus before the new term started. Harry was not the only one who was invited to come though. Sirius hoped Andromeda would forgive him as her daughter would be going as would Moody. And Severus shockingly enough. Remus had pointed out he had no family but Harry to invite. And he thought he had the right to invite Severus. Sirius was big enough to agree.

Harry and his dads had gone on Christmas eve to spend the evening at the Burrow with the Weasleys. They were headed to Malfoy manor in the morning to open gifts with the Blacks. They had agreed to stay for lunch but had insisted they would be leaving for an afternoon after.

Narcissa eyed her cousin as they were drinking hot chocolate and opening gifts. "I am surprised you accepted."

Remus reminded the woman. "We were at the Burrow last night and you are family."

Lucius laughed a bit. "I think she meant more she has driven you nuts with the wedding plans."

Sirius grumbled under his breath. "You said it."

Harry admitted. "Andromeda swore you would lay off for the day."

Andromeda saw her sister's look. "One day will not hurt."

Narcissa agreed with her. "There is all holidays I guess."

Sirius groaned. "Maybe we will leave before lunch."

Ted assured the men. "They will play nice today."

Draco tossed a gift at Harry. "Some of us are hungry here."

Harry laughed when he started to open it. "I am surprised we don't have to eat first."

Narcissa shook her head. "We always let him open a gift or two so he would sit through breakfast."

Lucius added when his son groaned. "He has of course out grown that but it continues."

Harry had only ever seen that with Molly who had always insisted on breakfast first in the mornings. The Dursleys had always plowed into their gifts while Harry had made them breakfast. At school they had opened their gifts as they were at their bed before they had eaten for the day. He was happy to go and have breakfast with them before they plowed into their gifts. Harry had never been big on gifts even now he got them. But he smiled and was grateful for what he had received. He had got the painting for his dads but it was hidden for now.

After lunch the three of them took off. The family were told they were just headed to the manor for a quiet afternoon for the three of them. Having spent the night before at the Burrow and the morning here it made sense enough. But the three of them had a portkey and bags.

Harry was shocked when they were not headed for the manor as he was told. "Where are we going?"

Sirius reminded him. "We told you we had special plans."

"That isn't to one of our manors is it?" Harry knew.

Remus shook his head. "We decided to make this Christmas extra special as our last one before you are on your own."

Harry reminded them. "I will come home for Christmas and holidays."

Sirius knew. "But it will still be different."

Remus added. "We thought we would also make it official."

Harry grinned when he realized. "You are eloping? I knew it though I didn't think so soon."

Sirius confirmed it. "We thought it the easiest way. And to take you away on a trip."

Remus motioned him to take a hold of the portkey. "You will come back at New Years day and we will have a few days alone."

Harry couldn't wait to see where they were going and was shocked when they arrived. "Where are we?"

Remus led him through a door. "A private home in Marrakesh."

Harry was shocked as he didn't think it was a place for their type of weddings. His dads agreed if they were muggles it would not be. But they would be married the next day at a resort run by wizards out in the dessert. Wizards of course had their own laws and they allowed such weddings. No muggles would see so there was no concern. They would simply be hands off when they were in muggle areas here. They had considered some where more tropical but they had both been drawn to the wedding option here. And the weather was amaing.

They found a small indoor pool in a beautiful courtyard and the home was amazing. Harry was directed to the room made up for him and he unpacked the bag they had paced for him. He understood now the camera. He sent an elf to retrieve their gift for him.

His dads were waiting for him in the courtyard. Sirius smiled. "We thought we would go explore the market."

Remus reminded his son. "Things aren't closed like back home."

Harry smiled at the sound. "I usually don't like shopping but that sounds great."

Sirius assured him. "The markets here are nothing like shopping back home I swear."

Remus agreed with him. "We have some plans for the other days but after the port key this seemed low key enough."

Harry had his camera around his neck. "Definitely a new way to celebrate the holidays."

Sirius shrugged. "We got all the tradition in and this seemed more exciting."

Harry more then agreed with them on that. They headed out into the market to explore the stalls. His dads were right and the sights and smells were nothing like back home. They enjoyed trying some of the food along the way and they bought a souvenir each along the way. They headed back to their home for the evening where they enjoyed the small indoor pool and had dinner. Far from the Christmas lunch left overs they would have had back home it was definitely an experience. Harry was so happy to be there with his dads and just enjoying the time.

Remus shook his head when Harry demanded to know about the plans for the next day. "You will have to see."

Harry was woken mid morning the next day and the three of them had breakfast before they were to leave. Their bags were packaged as they were going to stay in their next location for at least two nights he was told. Harry liked the house but he was anxious to see what his dads had planned. He had seen a few of the brochures that they had. They had claimed they had been looking for a place to honeymoon. Harry had known there could have been some truth to that but deep down he had always suspected. But he had not seen one for Morocco so he had no idea. The men would be headed for Greece for a more traditional last few days of their honeymoon when he went home.

Harry was amazed for the second time in twenty four hours when they arrived. He found them in a courtyard of sorts that was formed from huge tents out in the Sahara dessert. He had no doubt the tens were wizard tents even if he had not been told they were at a wizard resort.

A servant took his bag. "I will put this in your chamber."

Sirius motioned. "We will have time to explore after the ceremony."

Harry was amazed when he saw some camels being led over. "Really?"

Remus smiled. "We couldn't marry here without the full experience."

Sirius added when they were helped on. "There is a magic oasis not far away where we will marry."

Harry asked. "Don't you need another witness. I cant be for both of you."

Remus assured him. "We have that under control."

Before Harry could ask he was shocked. "What are you doing here?"

Severus had come from a tent and was eying the camel meant for him. "I am asking myself the same thing."

Remus explained. "Since your godfather claimed you as his witness I needed someone."

Sirius grunted. "Maybe hope he will melt in the sun or something."

Harry laughed a little at that. "I am surprised you didn't ask Moody or Tonks."

Sirius grunted. "Remus said he could choose his own. Besides telling Tonks would mean her mother may learn."

He knew the man had a point. Remus could have had Harry and Tonks could have been for Sirius but there was the risk. Tonks loved her cousin but she might not keep the secret from her mother if she had known. And while he considered Moody Sirius knew he had to be an adult here. He knew what Severus meant to Remus. And he was reminded of his cub and what the man might mean one day.

The camel ride was amazing and they came to an incredible oasis. It was like something you saw in fantasy movies and he was told it was a wizard oasis, not something that muggles would come or ever see. They would marry and have lunch there before heading back.

A guide said as they were getting off. "Your other guests are waiting and the minister."

Harry was confused. "Other guests?"

Sirius was just as confused. "We don't have other guests."

The man motioned. "They arrived this morning before you."

Remus was confused and shocked when they came into the center of the oasis. "How did you know?"

Narcissa smiled. "You didn't think we didn't know you two planned to elope?"

Lucius admitted. "I had a friend who found out about some research you were doing. It was not hard to find out where."

Tonks hugged her cousin. "We are only here for the evening and then we will leave you in peace."

Sirius glared at his cousin. "You better not have interfered with our plans."

Narcissa assured him. "Only the guest list. But we will be planning a dinner for you when you get back."

Though Sirius continued to grumble Remus smiled. "That would be fine."

The Malfoys, Tonks family and Moody were the only additions to the guest list. They were happy to see the woman was not lying and nothing had been changed. They were married with their two initial witnesses in front of the beautiful watering hole. Harry had handed his camera to Tonks so she could take some photos for him of the ceremony. The simple ceremony was followed by a picnic lunch by the water where they enjoyed some local cuisine and though the guests were unexpected, there was laughter. The camel trip back to the hotel took a bit longer this time as they made it more scenic. The tents would all be in use for the night though his dads were being sent off to a solo luxury tent for two nights. The other guests were actually staying two nights to keep Harry company. Even though they would have their five days in Greece to themselves, the other adults still thought they could use a night and day by themselves. And Harry more then agreed with the others.

That evening was a huge dinner and even entertainment set up. Dinner served again on carpets and low tables, tons of traditional food but also wine not just tea like earlier. There was dancing and traditional music. Though most dancing was performers, the grooms got a dance.

Before the men left Harry gave them their wedding gift. "I had this done."

Remus was in tears when he saw the start of the tree. "Its beautiful."

Sirius saw even his parents were included and grunted. "I guess they belong."

Harry shrugged. "There would be no you without them. I wanted to include Remus' parents so yours had to be too."

Sirius hugged his son and assured him. "You were right."

Remus took his turn hugging him. "This will be perfect above the fire."

Harry smiled. "That's what I thought when I picked it."

He looked at Severus and was happy the man had helped him come up with the idea. He could admit it worked out better for him then he thought. Later as the others headed off to bed, Harry was standing outside looking at the stars. The wedding had been amazing and he was so glad that his dads had their perfect day. He knew they weren't even too disappointed the others had arrived. They had only wanted to elope to avoid Narcissa running the thing and making it a wedding they never wanted. They got the wedding they dreamed of but with those they loved there too.

He felt someone slide up behind him. "I see they liked your gift."

Harry didn't pull away from the man. "Thank you."

He felt the man's lips against the back of his neck. "Its definitely a romantic location."

The man drew him back into his room. "You have this whole tent to yourself as your dads are off on their own little trip."

Harry was reminded the second bedroom in the tent was empty. "You may be missed."

Severus' hand continued heading up. "We aren't in my bed."

Severus was reminded while his dads had left over night the rest of the family was there. And while they were in other tents they were still close. Severus planned for the world to know soon enough but he knew not yet. Harry needed to be ready to admit they were not just playing each other. He turned to look at Harry from the door.
