I had been running for what felt like hours but in reality it's probably been like what 20 minutes?

That's nice. Anyway that adorable little Vee i was running from was still on my ass the entire time and-

It literally pinged louder than it usually did. Probably to piss me off-

*New landmark obtained*

Huh, new landmark? What does that mean?

It confused me so much to the point where I pretty much just stopped moving all together.

Why am I not tired was the real question.

I guess it means important places in a civilization or something.

I shrugged. I was about to start walking to explore this town a bit since I had run to pretty much the center of it but, I heard footsteps from behind me….and they were coming in my directions fast.

Instead of me turning to look at who's coming at me, all I did was side step to the left at the right time to see a blur of fluff go past me and skid to a halt.

She was facing the opposite way from me still so i had a perfect view of her-

*Ping*

Ok it was best that it did do that. Just this time though.

She slowly turned around to face me and…..are you kidding me her face is still red.

Geez her bio is really spot on.

Plus I have no intention on continuously embarrassing her right now so.

"Bella, I realized that i don't want to keep running from you. I'd rather just take my punishment now so i can explore the town with you."

She tilted her head because of my statement.

Then she spoke.

"Shade imma be honest with you….i forgot why i was upset with you."

Yup definitely spot on...unless…

"Yeah I forgot why i was running from you also."

"Wanna just forget that it even happened?"

"Yeah sure."

"Ok."

We stared at each other for a moment longer then out of nowhere she smirked.

I had a feeling she didn't forget. She was probably just thrown off guard as to why I just wanted to take punishment from her.

As if she was reading my thoughts she said…

"I'll punish you later."

Called it.

Nailed it.

Game set and match.

Checkmate.

Ok.

"So Bell, where is the guild?"

"Right behind you."

"What?"

I turn around to see a large building with some type of fire emblem on it.

No not the actual game. Though I love fire emblem.

I'm still confused on how I don't see things until I'm like right in front of it.

"Bella when you do punish me, don't hold back please."

"If you say so." She answered a bit confused.

"So do we explore the rest of the town before going in there or…"

"If you want we can. Even though I've been in this town a lot, I still havent explored all of it."

"Only certain parts?"

"Yeah. I never needed to go everywhere."

"So you never just got super curious of what's going on in the rest of the town at all?"

"No not really. Though I guess now's the time I change that. Come on, I'll show you the parts of town I have actually been to."

"Kk." Was all i said before i followed her to wherever we're going.

The closer we got to the actual center of the town, the more bios about everyone seem to be popping up.

There has to be a way to prevent all of them from appearing….wait imma try something.

I went up to one of the shop owners of this place to see if my plan would work.

"Excuse me do you have a moment?" I asked the pokemon that was facing away from me at the time. He or she was listening because its ears twitched in my direction. Soon after the ear twitch it looked at me.

Ok now i do remember what pokemon it is but if it works…

It does think god. When I start talking to someone every other bio that appears disappears and the one I'm talking to stays up.

Interesting…

"Of course, what can i help you with?"

Her voice sounds really childish. Then again she might be a kid...wait...yea she's a kid.

She's 2 which is equivalent to 12 in human years.

She's this young and she serves from her own vendor? That's actually impressive.

Acknowledging her talents, i didn't really need to ask her anything so i just tried to make small talk with her while my partner still didn't notice me not behind her.

"Oh it's nothing major it's just that you look familiar...like i actually know who you are…"

Q me looking at her bio just to lie.

"Is your name May by any chance?"

"Why yes it is. You don't look familiar to me though. Have we actually met before?"

"Yes we met in the past a few years ago so i presume you most likely don't remember me."

"I'm afraid not sir. Though if you'd like we can catch up later..is that ok?"

"Sure. I have stuff to do as well as you tending to your shop so I wont bother you anymore."

"Ok. It's nice meeting you again...i think. My shop will be closed in about 3 hours or so...maybe then we can hang out."

"I'd love to. Right now though i got to go so see ya."

"As to you fellow friend. Bye~"

We waved at each other as I left her to tend to her work.

My thing was why she didn't even bother to ask for my name or even any of the events we did in the past.

Maybe she's quite laid back i guess. Her bio did say she was really friendly to just about everyone.

But it also said she was really forgetful as well...so maybe that's why she didn't really push further.

Anyway i headed back over to my lovely partner which hasn't really gotten too far from me since she has also gotten distracted by a shop she was interested in.

So instead of going all the way over there i sat on a bench like maybe 20 feet away waiting until she was done.

This place really is something else. I still don't know why this is considered a town instead of a city….towns are smaller right?

Yeah i was still confused about that.

Also the more I ignored the continuous bios that kept popping up, the more peaceful I felt.

My peacefulness was soon interrupted by someone standing next to me.

"Is this seat taken?" Some guy asked.

I looked over at the person...or...pokemon who talked to me and was a little surprised at who it was.

Aw shit what do you call these grass type pokemon again?

It's like right on the tip-

"Are you ok?"

I must have been dazing hard as fuck for him to notice that.

"Yeah i'm just a little tired is all. Also no this seat is not taken, sorry."

He sits next to me and says it's fine.

"Stressful day?" He asked.

"You can say that yeah. To top that off i didn't get that much sleep."

"I know how that feeling is. Sometimes you just gotta say fuck it and keep going. I actually had one of those moments yesterday."

I looked over at him even more surprised than before.

Did this damn Snivy say fuck?

He then noticed me staring at him for a bit and said…

"Huh? What's wrong...am i really that attractive?"

We both laughed a bit at that and i replied.

"Ha no, it's just that from a few words I already like hanging out with you."

"Hehe. It's my specialty to make others just a tad bit more happy than they originally were. That and to fulfill my duties as a guild member." He said with pride.

I still had a smile on my face the whole time..and shockingly it wasn't fake.

I don't remember the last time I actually smiled like I am now.

All i know is that it's been a while.

"Well me and my partner were gonna sign up to become members ourselves. Also yes you did a great job and made me laugh since i barely do so anymore."

He gasped at this.

"What? You don't laugh? That's literally like the best medicine."

Oh lord not one of these-

"Is what i would say if i was super cheesy."

I Smirked immediately after he said that.

Ok it's official i like this guy.

"What's your name bud?"

"Well it definitely ain't bud that's for damn sure."

I lightly shoved him as he giggled a bit from the movement.

"It's Aero. Nice to meet ya mister 'i don't laugh'."

"I'm Shade you silly snake."

He laughed at that.

"So what are you doing here all alone hmm?"

"Well I'm not alone, my partner is here with me...and speaking of my partner here she comes."

I looked in the direction that the Vee was coming from and soon Aero followed my gaze.

Of course Bell has a smile on her face while walking over to us.

"Geez i didn't think you would leave that shop."

"Geez I didn't think you could make friends with others."

Aero tried so hard not to laugh at that while I just made a smacking sound with my lips.

"Oh whatever."

"You just got burned." Aero said loud enough so only I could hear it.

All I did was shove him again while he still tried his hardest not to laugh.

"Bell i'm tired of exploring the town now so can we just go to the guild now?"

"Yeah we can. I had to pick up a few things that's all. But before we do…"

Aw here we go.

"You gonna tell me about your friend beside you?" She said with...is that...was that sassiness

I looked at Aero.

"As you can see she likes to make me suffer."

"Nah you're just a pushover."

Now it was Bell's turn to giggle.

I turned back to Bell with a huff.

"Aero this is my partner Bella….Bella this is Aero."

"Sup."

"Hello there."

Pretty sure you can guess who said what.

Wrapping up the formalities and such, we decided to part ways by saying goodbye to Aero as he was still waiting for someone on the bench.

While me and Bell were walking side by side to the guild.

"Hey Bella?"

"Yes?"

"Can i touch your ears again?"

She signed loudly at that.

"This is the last time Shade."

"Thank you."

Was the only thing I said before going to town on massaging her ears as we walked to the guild.
