A/N: This is very, very non-DARAGON related, but... in a way, it is. G-DRAGON, which is half the name of DARAGON, is making a FUCKIN' COMBACK. LIKE, AHHHH, MY FUCKIN' BIAS IS COMING...! THE KING OF K-POP...! AHAAAHHH...! 'Kay, lol, that is all.

Hope everything's all right with you guys. Elections have passed and I'm surprised there hasn't been a war breaking out yet. But, we're not gonna talk about politics here 'cause obviously, this isn't the website for it.

Ice Queen Arc

Chapter 10: Kill the Destroyer's Three Beast 1...

FULL RECAP: The hunt was on. Esdeath has issued out an order of taking out forces of Night Raid, allies of Najenda. Speaking of Night Raid, the crew had found a Dark Dragon Ball, taking up sources from the Earth itself. Split into 3 groups, they were off to do different tasks that aligned up with Esdeath in the end.

But the last group, Najenda's group, had an outing.

An argument has broken out between Goku & Najenda as she, out of anger, slaps Goku, leaving him, Gotenks, Chelsea, Leone & Akame shooked. With that being said, the Saiyan of the hour left the group, with Akame joining him, to cheer him up. But that led to the idea of visiting the God of Creation of Universe 10, Gowasu...

Universe 10

Night Raid's Hideout, Front Lawn...

-(First Person POV)-

What happened a few moments ago was something I didn't expect to see out of Najenda. As from age jokes aimed towards her, words don't usually get under her skin, really. Like, it doesn't. Why was it different with Goku? Hmm, well, if I recall here, she might have a tiny bit of a crush of him. At least, that's what I'm assuming anyway...

"The God of Creation? The Supreme Kai...?"

Goku shooked his head in response to my question. "You betcha, Akame! It sucks that Najenda doesn't have any fate in seeing the good in people. But I know that for a fact, Esdeath can change! I'm certain of it."

I made a tense face. Like with Najenda, I wasn't too keen on what Goku was saying. Except, I wouldn't slap him. "Goku... I like that you want to see people change. Really, I do. But you have to know that what Najenda said is true. There isn't any emotions in that heartless monster."

"Akame, you don't know how bad I want to prove Najenda wrong. I get that you & the rest of Night Raid have more history with her than me, but still, I wanna break that barrier."

I admire the dedication from him. I'll admit it: I think I do have something going for Goku. I just didn't want it to get in the way of our mission...

"Esdeath will never change, Goku. I know it, Night Raid knows it, everyone in Universe 10 knows it. But..." I gulped. "I am curious to see what you plan to do, what your plan will come out of, if you're going to change Esdeath."

"Akame...?" Goku tilted his head up just a little, eyes widened.

"Hmm." I smiled at him. "I'm not really the type to give evil people a second chance, but I'll look over that if you'll have me. I want to see what the Son Goku of Universe 7 can do. The man who saved the multiverse."

My compliments to him caused him to strike a smile. He placed his two right index & middle on his forward and gave me his left hand...

"Thank you, Akame." Goku said, sincere. "I think it's time we go visit Gowasu, to get information out from him."

I gladly took his hand. With Murasame in with my right hand, I responded. "Right. After you, Son Goku..."

Both of our bodies starting glitching out as if we were inside of a video game. That just meant we were about to switch places. From one place to another. During the sequence of his Instant Transmission, I looked at our hideout. Wherever we're going, wherever Gowasu is, I had to take a second and think about the other members.

We'll be leaving our group here just because I'm agreeing to see how Goku will change Esdeath. I've never felt this way before. I don't usually get persuaded by words, but in this case, I can let it fly by. I wonder what Goku will do, to make Esdeath 'change'. It's certainly interesting. I don't expect anything out of this, but...

For some reason, I'm looking forward to this. Spending my time alone with Goku, I... Why am I thinking such provocative things...? Err...

(A/N: This is where first POV ends...)

Late Evening

Universe 10

Night Raid's Hideout, Najenda's Room...

This was before Goku & Akame went to Gowasu, during right around the part where Akame caught up to Goku outside. Najenda was laying in her bathtub, head lying back on the back edge as she looked up at the ceiling. The bathroom room itself was covered in the fog created by the hot water.

Najenda closes her eyes and lets out a long sigh...

"Why did I do that?" Najenda said to herself, getting a clear image of her unintended action. Her, slapping Goku. She blushed a little. "So out of character..."

It was hard for her, but she got a clear image on what Goku's character was. She had even remembered the words that came out from him...

"People can change, Najenda. I know, for a fact, that Esdeath can change. I'll make sure of it!"

And she flinched...

"Change? Change my ass..." Najenda's lower half of her face went underwater. With her mouth, she was making bubbling sounds as she continues to speak her thoughts out. "(Whatever Goku & Esdeath did together, it certainly tricked Goku into believing that he could change her. It's nothing but a fool's errand)."

"Your methods on killing doesn't always solve things, Najenda."

"It doesn't but... it can end years of suffering, idiot..."

"I'm going to beat Esdeath, but I'm not going to kill her."

"Kch..." Najenda stood up from the bathtub, teeths clenched, front bangs covering her eyes as she was furious, she yelled. "She deserves it!"

A minute later, she realized she was yelling to no one but herself. Exposed & embarrassed, she sat back down...

"Goku, why are you such an idiot? Such an innocent man, who's so bright & positive. And yet, so stupid & dumb at the same time. If only... if only, you were here from the start, with Night Raid, with... me. Maybe, you would've seen all the horrors with me."

She deeply gulped.

"If he's carrying that positivity, if he was from Universe 10 originally, maybe... I could've gotten some of what he's having. That way, I could have someone to endure all the pain and suffering with." Najenda blushed. "Son Goku... I didn't mean to hit you. Now, he probably thinks differently of me now."

She softly clenched her right fist and stood up, grabbing her towel. Drying herself off, she got into her usually outfit and headed out the door. By the time she was done bathing, Goku & Akame had already left to go see Gowasu. Walking to the main room with Chelsea, Leone & Gotenks, she looked at the monitors to get an update report...

"You three, how's everything going so far? I hope my thirty-minutes of alone time didn't make me miss something importnat, did it?"

Chelsea responded, hands behind her back. "Nope. Nothing out of the ordinary, boss."

"What's the status report, then?"

"Twenty minutes after you went to go take your 'alone time', we lost contact with Bulat's group. We're still in contact with Vegeta's group, but that's about it." Leone cuts in.

"All communications off? Don't tell me Esdeath caught aware of what we're doing already?"

"I wouldn't say that, nope. If she were to catch on, I definitely would've sensed it." Gotenks said, smirking as he pointed at himself.

"You can't sense God Ki, kid. How can you sense her?" Najenda asked.

Gotenks closed his eyes and continued smirking. Crossing his arms, he responded. "Easy, Najenda. It's true that God Ki isn't my strong suit, but that doesn't mean we can't count at the pressure that's left behind. Esdeath will no doubt use God Ki to her advantage, but that also means she's gonna unleash nasty amounts of pressure that could kill a man!"

"I see. Well, until Armageddon day, kid, let's not focus on Esdeath until she comes here. I had time to think this over. What I did to Goku, it was something I really didn't expect to do. Nor was it intended."

"Yeah, no kidding, Najenda. Slapping the man you're falling for isn't a good step in that direction." Leone said, teasing.

Najenda flinched as her shoulders got tense. "S-Stop with the nonsense, Leone! I don't like him like that!" she clenched her fists.

"Haha, and there it is! Lady-like Najenda showing her girly side. Just admit you like him. Nothing wrong with that. I certainly think he's a sexy man." Leone later purred.

"He certainly has a manly physique." Chelsea said, nodding her head as she was agreeing with Leone.

"... ... .." Najenda softly grunted. It was true, she likes him. She didn't know why, but it was still bothering her. Her, slapping her potential love interest. "... Fine. I do. I like Son Goku..."

A jaw dropping Gotenks stuttered, eyes slightly widened. "W-What!? You do? But you do realize he's married!"

"I know that. That's the only thing preventing me from asking him out. And to be honest, I'm glad it is. I can't let my feelings get in the way of our mission. Our mission to kill Esdeath and end this long, endless, hell of a war."

"Right..." both the girls got serious when replying to Najenda. There is a time for laughs and jokes, but that time hasn't come yet.

Najenda walked over to the monitors. Before she could continue on with her plans, she looked at Gotenks. "Hey, Gotenks."

"Huh? Yeah? What's up?"

"I overreacted in slapping Goku. I'm going to put you on a solo mission, if you don't mind."

"Sure. I don't mind. I'm a solo guy. What's up?" Gotenks crossed his arms.

"Find Goku and bring him to me. I... I want to apologize to him. I want no bad blood to come between us, regardless of a meaningless argument. Can you do that for me?"

Gotenks uncrossed his arms. He gave a salute since this task given to him wasn't a laughing matter. It truly wasn't because he was there to see the two go at it. So he knows how much this would mean to Najenda. And with that, he graciously accept...

"You got it. I'll make sure I'll bring him to you. I'm pretty sure he wants an apologize from you anyway with the way you said your words."

"Hmph. I know. Now get going, kid."

"Yes, ma'am." Gotenks shows his manners and headed out. Him, along with the others didn't know that Goku & Akame bolted to Gowasu, so this search of Goku was gonna take a while. Like, a long while.

"All right. While he's on that, let's focus on both the other teams. What's been happening while I was bathing, you two?"

"Well, for starters, we're still in contact with Bulma's team. So there's that. But for Bulat's? No. The moment you went to go bathe, the moment when Bulat's team hopped onto that boat, things have been radio silent for them."

"What? That can't be..." Najenda pressed a button that was in cahoots to Bulat's team's communication. "Team 2, this is leader of Night Raid. Report."

No response... So she tried again...

"I said, Team 2, this is the leader of Night Raid. Report."

2 minutes passed and still no response...

"Bulat... Tatsumi... Gohan... Piccolo. I repeat, do any of you copy?"

"Najenda, you don't think..."

"Don't you even think of it, Chelsea. They wouldn't go down just like that. Maybe there's been some kind of interference that's blocking our connection. Let me try again. Team 2, do you all copy? Anyone? Respond if you hear this..."

And of course, no response yet again...

"This is very disturbing..." Najenda clenched her fists. "I'm going out for a smoke. Keep me updated with what's happening with Bulma's team, you two. And come get me if Bulat answers. Everyone has a part to play here, but I get the feeling Bulat's team is going to go through it worst."

"Right..." the two said.

Evening

Universe 10

Kangkah Krufa's Exquisite Boat, Upper Deck...

Bulat's team was set in position. Bulat, Tatsumi, Gohan & Piccolo had all met up in the upper deck, where they not only could see Krufa & other rich civilians, but they also blended in. Tatsumi was leaning on the edge of the boat, staring at the city the boat was departing from with Gohan & Piccolo joining, too. Piccolo had crossed his arms as he was leaning back on the edge, to see their target safe & sound. Later, about 2 minutes had passed and they all sensed Bulat's energy...

"Eyes sharp, everyone. Krufa's right in front of us. We have to make sure he's safe, along with every passenger here."

"Hmm? Mr. Bulat? I can hear you, but I don't see you." Gohan looked everywhere, to the directions of where he assumed he would be. "Where are you?"

"I'm right beside Tatsumi, handsome." Bulat answered, giving Gohan a little scare by tapping his right shoulder.

"You're invisible, aren't you?" Piccolo speculated, smirking as he was impressed.

"You catch on quickly, Piccolo." Bulat admitted, smiling.

Gohan was quick to be amazed. He clenched his fists, looked at Tatsumi since that's where the invisible Bulat is and added. "Wow! As expected of you, Mr. Bulat! I didn't know you had an ability like that!"

"Heh, thank you." Bulat took the compliment. Smiling as the 'handsome' Gohan was leading him on, he responded. "It's thanks to my Teigu. This Teigu, my armor, allows me to be invisible, but it's only temporary. I hadn't had the chance to break my limits in mastering it. So, for now, I take what I can get."

"I see. You must've used it a lot before we came along."

"Very. Certain people didn't have to die, but they were all believers of Esdeath. I usually don't kill men who have an amazing future, but what can you do?"

"You guys did what you had to do to ensure the safety of many others. If killing a few means saving a whole lot more, then it's an efficient method. Bulat, you shouldn't let that get to you, despite it being a gruesome way to save your universe." Piccolo cuts in.

"... ... ..." Bulat admitted he was right. While still invisible, he looked at Tatsumi, his teammate but also close friend who feels the exact same way. "(When it comes down to it, no one but Tatsumi hates feeling that way. I guess it's common to think this way, whether I like it or not)."

All of them turned to the man of the hour, Krufa, who was talking to his friends. At once, the four started looking everywhere, to see if there were people around they could spot that had a hit on the man aiding Night Raid. So far, they had no luck...

"So, that's him, huh? Kangkah Krufa." said Gohan, eyeing him.

"Yep. That's the man who's been on our side for 10 years. With the exception of Najenda, Leone & Akame, he hasn't seem the other members' faces." Tatsumi added. "Najenda says it's a good thing he can't. Being limited to only seeing who I just named helps both of our sides a lot."

"It'll draw less attention to him, too." Gohan cuts in. "Najenda's a smart person. I respect that. Our mission is to ensure he's safe off this boat."

Krufa & his other friends and guests starting heading inside, strictly towards the lower deck, the lounge. That wasn't good. With that, Piccolo stopped his leaning...

"He's heading in." Tatsumi pointed out. "What's the plan, Bulat?"

"2 of us stay here on the upper deck, to make sure we didn't miss a single person. While the other two heads down to make sure his safety. Either decks, the enemy will eventually be bound to show him or herself." Bulat stated, revealing himself to the others after.

"Piccolo and I can head downstairs. No offense, but I suggest the strongest pair of the four should head down. That would mean me & Piccolo."

"You don't have to put it like that, Gohan, but I guess." said Tatsumi, offended.

"Sounds good to me." Bulat gave a thumbs up. "With you two being the ones to protect Krufa, it'll put me at ease. Not to mention it'll bring a load off."

"Leave the man to us, you two!" Gohan, with his left hand, gave the two old members a thumbs up. "We'll see it through that Mr. Krufa will come out of this safely. Right, Piccolo?"

"Hmph." Piccolo replied as he already started walking ahead.

"We'll counting on you two! Don't fail us, newbies!" Bulat waved at them as Gohan did it back.

Both Gohan & Piccolo managed to head down to the lower deck, leaving the upper deck to just Tatsumi & Bulat. As the two were looking at the sea, it activated a sequenced 'bromance' moment that only Bulat wanted to feel. Tatsumi, on the other hand, was grossed out seeing as though he told Bulat over and over he has a girlfriend...

"(Errr... maybe I should've went with them. I love my bro like family, but I wish he would think the same)."

Tatsumi shivered afterwards...

Universe 10

Gowasu's Planet...

-(First Person POV)-

With all these years taking in countless fights and meaningless wars, I had completely forgotten about the Supreme Kai in this universe, Universe 10. Gowasu, the God of Creation. I've never met the deity in person before but heard rumors of his existence. The deity that can make planets. What pops the question here is: what kind of relationship does he & Esdeath have since Goku & I are heading to him? Guess I'm about to find out...

"Hmm?" Gowasu was out in the front, watching the flowers bloom with red leaves from the tree that's as old as the planet. Goku & I had arrived in front of him and the tree he was watching. "I don't believe it. Son Goku of the 7th?"

"Yo!" Goku waved at him, smiling while still holding hands with me. "How's it been, Gowasu? I haven't seen you since the Tournament of Power!"

Later, he let go. My disappointment to that was immeasurable and now my day is ruined. Well, sort of. "So, this is the Kai of Universe 10..."

"Son Goku... to what do I owe you the pleasure of?" Gowasu finished his tea and stood up, greeting him as they shook hands. "Your performance in the Tournament of Power is something I still get goosebumps to this day."

"Hehe, thanks, I guess! Anyway, Gowasu, I need to ask you a favor."

Wow, straight to it then...? Goku talks as though he's a close friend of Gowasu. At least, that's what I'm assuming anyway...

"Hmm." Gowasu smiled. "Go ahead. Ask away. How can I say no to the man who saved my life from my former Kai apprentice?"

"Great! Thanks. Gowasu, as you know, Esdeath is wreaking havoc all over Universe 10 as we speak."

"I'm well aware."

"This is my friend Akame, someone who has been to war with her, along with her friends, for as long as they can remember."

With Goku introducing me, I stepped up. Hopefully, what I say can convince this Kai in front of me to help of us for some sort. Asking a Supreme Kai does seem far fetch. I don't know how they act, so here's my shot...

"As Goku said, on Earth, my Earth, Esdeath has caused nothing but horror for not only myself and my friends, but everyone else that lives there, too. Supreme Kai, if it's not troubling, would you mind telling us what you know about Esdeath?"

"What would you like to know?" Gowasu asked.

"I- - Well, I'm not sure. This is happening all so fast. I don't know, just anything that'll help us kill that son of a Destroyer bitch once and for all."

Since Goku's letting me have the floor, he got all quiet. Zipping his lips as he placed his arms behind his head, knowing that what I'm asking is serious. I can't thank him enough for that...

"Please, Gowasu."

He looked at me, someone who was so desperate to get out of an unwinnable situation. Staring me down, he could tell I've been through so much hell. I wasn't sweating intensely, but a single drop was falling from my left side. And I gulped...

"You're asking me to help you aid with information that could potential take down a Destroyer? Why would I do such a thing?"

"Huh? You don't have to help us if you're not up to it, but I need whatever it takes to help my people back on Earth to take down a Destroyer!"

"In general, Akame, a God of Destruction, or a Goddess, is relevant to each universe it's assigned to. With myself, a Supreme Kai as well. It serves as a balance that every one of the 12 universes need to have.

"... ... ..." I widened my eyes. "Are you saying you're on her side?"

"No, I'm saying I can't intervene in what a Destroyer does. What Esdeath does isn't my job, nor is it my concern. I wield the title of God of Creation. I exist the same way every Destroyer does. We all have purposes."

"Before creation, comes destruction." Goku said, quoting what his God of Destruction said to him. "That's something Beerus told me, back when he first visited my Earth."

"Exactly. That quote has meaning, Goku, Akame. Our jobs are in sync. We co-exist in order to make our universe function well. Whatever I create, whatever planet is formed, before that comes the art of destruction."

"Is that why you're not helping us?" I flinched a little.

"I'm not a Destroyer, Akame. I don't wield techniques that could save myself. I just simply create as my title implies. I don't fight."

"So, basically, you're just someone who's a support on a team full of aggressive pushers."

"Yeah. That's right. I'm sorry I couldn't help you. A God of Creation & a Destroyer are a paired team. Handpicked from Lord Zeno himself."

"Aw, c'mon! Are you sure there's nothing you could say or do that could help us?" Goku cuts in, un-doing his arms behind his head. "Let's not forget that if I hadn't come here with Beerus & Whis, you wouldn't be alive today."

They did? What happened...?

"... ... ..." Gowasu looked unhappy and stared at Goku. "I know. Zamasu showed great promise into becoming a fine Supreme Kai. It's a shame he had to throw it all away for a false justice. I showed ways how mortals can coexist with us gods, but he didn't see it that way. And because of that, I saw the error of my ways."

"It's not your fault. You didn't know Zamasu was doing all that evil stuff behind your back. He had good motives, but crappy outtakes of them. Wait, on second thought, he didn't really have any motives. He just hated everyone that wasn't a deity, huh? He saw the ugliness and I couldn't show him the beauty of mankind."

"On the brightside, at least no more people have to die because of Zamasu's actions."

This isn't getting me anywhere. I was told by Goku that he could get some kind of information out of this Supreme Kai here that could help us stop Esdeath. And yet, we're talking about his failed apprentice...?

"So, um, are you mad, Akame?" Goku looked at me.

"I'm used to senseless quiver, Goku. I had my shot, from what we discussion on our way here. So, you can go ahead and ask the Supreme Kai what you told me."

"Sure."

Figured it wasn't going to be that easy. At least I know that the Supreme Kai comes in a 2-for-1 deal with Esdeath, since they're both opposites of the same coin. But what does that mean? How can I use that? With what I just learned about how they coexist, how can I use that to my advantage...?

"Gowasu, uh, sir."

"Just Gowasu is fine, Goku."

"Right..." Goku scoffed. He waved his hands at him as he was about to speak what was on his mind. "No one, aside from the angels, have lived as long as Esdeath. No one has seen her reign as a Destroyer for so long. No one but you. So you know what she's like, right?"

"How could I not? When I informed her about how Zamasu almost killed me, she threatened to kill me herself for being off guard..." Gowasu started sweating. "I never believed it, but she always warned me to be wary of Zamasu, even though he was my student..."

Wait, what? Why would Esdeath threaten him? Other than the title he holds, Esdeath really does care about anyone but herself, Kusu, & the Jaegers. Hearing their conversation lay out, my eyes widened, anticipating what they were about to say next...

"Yeah. That sounds like Esdeath, all right." Goku scratched the back of his head, unimpressed as he had seen it coming. Whatever that means. "I came here seeking knowledge. Whatever you can say to me about Esdeath since you're one of the people to live as long as her, possibly longer. Gowasu, I'm going to fight Esdeath soon. And what I need here is information that'll help me beat her."

By the sound of that, Gowasu dropped his cup of tea. His eyes started shaking, barely grasping with what he had just heard. I'm guessing he gasp at the part where he said he wanted to fight Esdeath...

"A-Are you insane, Goku!? Do you have any idea what you're up against!? This is Esdeath, a ruthless Destroyer who will stop at nothing to get what she wants! She's not Beerus of the 7th! She's much more deadlier than him, mind you! She'll kill you in matters of seconds..."

"I know how strong she is. I fought her before..."

"Wait, what, you have!?" both Gowasu and I said, simultaneously.

Goku, with little effort, barely tilted his head to the left. "Back when she knocked me out and took me to her planet. I said I wanted to fight her and boom; I did. I lost though..."

"H-How are you still alive...? You fought your own Destroyer... and now you fought one here. Did you happen to use Ultra Instinct on her?"

Now there's something I want to hear, too...

"No. As much as I want to tap back into it, I didn't. More like, I can't. I just went full power on her. Stacked the Kaio-Ken with Super Saiyan Blue and it happened in a blink of an eye. I was on the ground as she was on top of me..."

"She showed mercy. How bizarre..." Gowasu's eyes stopped shaking after hearing Goku. My guess is, he knows something we don't. "Esdeath's not the type to show mercy on whom she fights. Even though you're alive in front of me, I do find it oddly weird she would do such a thing."

"It's cause she has a crush on him. Esdeath's in love with Goku." I said, cutting in.

"Huh!?" Gowasu stumbled back a little. It was hard for him to take in what he had just heard, but he'll get used to it soon. I certainly did. "I didn't think Esdeath was capable of loving someone. By chance, are the two of you- -"

"No, I'm married, Gowasu. I have a wife and 2 kids." Goku swiftly answered.

Gowasu sighed. "Well, that's a shame on Esdeath's part, I guess."

"Yeah, haha!" Goku cracks down chuckling. "(But I did make a bet with her, so...) I need to know something here, Gowasu. Can Esdeath be persuaded...?" he said, serious. "I need to know. Because what you tell me all depends on what I'm about to later on in the current events."

He wasn't kidding. When it comes to Goku, in certain situations, I noticed how he operates. He has a way with words that when he leads on, he's about to persuade people. But that's not the case here. He's really wanting to know the answer Gowasu is about to say. It's as he said: what he gets from Gowasu, his answer, will determine everything after that.

I noticed how Gowasu never took his eyes from of Goku, like he was thinking about what he was about to say. Oh, speak of the devil. It looks like he's about to respond to him...

"Son Goku... what I'm about to tell you is something you don't want to hear, despite your heroic actions. The answer is no. She cannot be changed, nor persuaded."

Goku flinched. I noticed his eyebrows were constantly shaking. Not because he was afraid, but because he was surprise. Well, surprise is an understatement. Later I noticed he made a different face, looking as though he had a feeling. What a weird mix of expression, Goku...

"Dang... not you too, man." said Goku, crossing his arms. He tilted his head left a little while looking confused, but was in fact the opposite. A confused face, but he was thinking of something. "Hmm, I was really hoping you would say yes."

"Why though? The outcome isn't any different, Son Goku." Gowasu informed.

"We're just desperate." I cut in, looking down. Gritting my teeth, I continued on. "No, I am. The people of Universe 10 are. The people who are slaves of Esdeath. Don't you see that Esdeath's only making people's lives a living hell? It's one thing to destroy a planet. Those people's death will be quick. But to hold Earth as her own plaything, kch... it's fukin' stupid..."

"People aren't going to live forever. That is why we destroy and create. A cycle of life, Akame. I will admire you & your people to survive this long against her. No one has ever lasted this long in battle against Esdeath. You certainly will live to tell the tales of it- -"

"Is the reason why you won't help us because you're going to create another Earth soon?" I said, interrupting him.

Gowasu was quiet. Whatever the case is, I just don't get why he wouldn't help us. So, I need to find a way to push him, send him rolling to the point where if he's actually in leagues with Esdeath. It's obvious that because he's with her, as that cycle of life bullshit, he won't rat her out..

"What makes you think that?" Gowasu grew suspicious of me asking him. It was like I called him out for it. "Surely, you don't think I'm going to create a new planet right where Esdeath will soon blow up. Because I will."

"Gowasu?" Goku looked confused. As he should. This isn't his universe. This isn't his Earth. Something about Gowasu rubs me the wrong way. Him, with his connection with Esdeath.

"I know you lived on that planet, but you have to know that even before Esdeath took reign of it, it was already a mess of its own. With that mortal running as emperor? You're basically asking for a deletion."

"I knew it was shitty before Esdeath came aboard, but since then, she made things worse." I started to get livid. Then again, what did I expect? Help from deities is so rare these days. Especially ones that resides with Esdeath, given he's the God of Creation. "I get that you're not supposed to help us since your job is in sync with hers, but are you sure there isn't anything you would want to tell us? Anything?"

"Yeah. C'mon, Gowasu! Don't be a stick in the mud!" Goku cuts in, "Tell you what. If you give us information about what we need about Esdeath..." he lifted his right index finger up. "I'll do whatever you want me to, free of charge!"

"Free of charge?" Gowasu soft gasp. It looked like he wanted something out of Goku. And whatever it is, he surely won't hesitate to capitalize, will he? "Hmm, you drive a hard bargain. Fine. You've got yourself a deal, Son Goku."

And with that, Goku & I were excited. Goku jumped in the air in joy as I firmly felt relieved. Can't believe that's what it took to make the God of Creation side with us temporarily. A favor? Still, this is Goku. Getting a favor from him must be like eating a freshly, ripen, luxury fruit...

"Sweet! So, what's the favor you want from me?" Goku was ready to fulfill whatever Gowasu wants him do.

Gowasu showed his left hand at him, in a gesture for him to stop moving. "Pause for a second, Goku. Before we head out on briefing each other's end of the bargain here, I need to know something. Do you plan on killing Esdeath?"

Goku was quick to respond. When replying back, he went from cheerful and happy, to calm and relaxed. "No. I already told you this. I only plan on fighting her to the extent of beating her. Not killing her. I don't want to rule out that option because I know that she can change. I saw it for myself. Once I beat her down, I'm going to talk her out of ruining more people's lives..."

"... ... ..." Gowasu was speechless to say. To be honest, when he heard Goku's response, I'd expect Gowasu to react the same as me. In all fairness, I know that he knows that it's impossible, but with Goku, it feels like anything is possible with him. "I see. Well, that brings me relief. if you had plan on killing her, you would've killed me in the process."

"Yeah, haha." Goku chuckled. "To end things quick & fast, if I wanted to, I would've just gotten rid of you. That way, Esdeath can perish peacefully."

"One of the downsides of being a Supreme Kai & Destroyer. We share a link where if one of us dies, then the other dies, too. Glad we're dodging that bullet, Son Goku."

The moment I heard, everything became clear. I now fully understood why Gowasu was so keen on not wanting to help us from the beginning. My eyes expanded like never before, making my pupils small for this one small occasion. I clenched my left fist while with my right, I tightened the hell out of my Murasame...

"Wait, what did you just say...?"

A God of Destruction, a Goddess of Destruction can die if I kill their counterpart, the Supreme Kai...?

A/N: This is where first person ends...

Evening

Universe 10

Kangkah Krufa's Exquisite Boat, Lower Deck...

The son of Goku & the Namekian followed Krufa into the lower deck, not letting their sights off of him. Not a moment was wasted when the duo kept an eye on them. The two had no idea who the enemy was and when they were coming. But one thing's for sure here, they were prepared.

Gohan & Piccolo were at a table filled with food. Piccolo, with his arms crossed was looking around, to see if the people around him fit the criteria of a worshipper of Esdeath that would want Krufa dead...

"Yo." Gohan greeted. He approached his master & friend with a plate in hand, enjoying the food as he dig in. "Any luck? So far, when I was getting food from the other table, I didn't suspect anyone of being a threat..."

"Nothing." Piccolo responded, taking his eyes off of Krufa to Gohan for a split second. "Even though it's been a solid 10 minutes, nothing has happened. I want to be glad that nothing has happen, but this is Universe 10. A universe that's easily influenced."

"I get what you mean." Gohan devoured a meat-stick inside his mouth. While looking at Krufa, he placed the rest of his plate on the table to his left, to which, was Piccolo's right. "With Mr. Bulat and Tatsumi guarding the upper deck, there shouldn't be any threats coming to us. Looks like Esdeath lucked out."

"I wouldn't count on it, but let's hope." Piccolo added.

Nothing was happening and it continued that way for another 10 minutes, to a later 15 minutes. With rich people walking around, talking to each other, the two were on edge. Wherever Krufa went, the two followed. On the second level of the lower deck, Krufa was talking to his friends while Gohan & Piccolo were on the first floor still.

Something wasn't right.

Another 30 minutes had a passed, for a total of 55 minutes. Things couldn't be this quiet, could it? Whatever the case may be, Gohan was intensely wary, given the fact that he's given an option to kill, if it comes to it...

"Gohan, is something wrong...?" Piccolo noticed Gohan's change of expression. It was an expression he outright knew for all the times he's been with him. "You don't make that face unless you figured out something. And I take it you do?"

"Call it a hunch, Piccolo." said Gohan, looking left and right.

"Well, tell me. Don't keep me out of the loop!" Piccolo insisted.

Gohan looked back at Krufa. "Take a look around you, Piccolo. Do you notice anything...?"

"Nothing I see or sense of, no." Piccolo replied.

"Exactly. When you're on a fancy boat, with your fancy, rich friends, there's expensive things all around, on one boat, in the middle of nowhere. It's obvious you would need protection. I've been on fancy boats before with Videl and her dad and what I've noticed during my many times with the two is that there are an exceeding amount of guards. Even though I was there, with Majin Buu, too, it fits the narrative to have guards in the first place."

"So, what you're saying is there aren't any guards here." Piccolo assumed, catching onto Gohan's theory. "If that's the case, then where are they? How many did Krufa hired for his protection...?"

"That's a good question. Here's a better one: If there are guards, why aren't they at their post? We've spent a good amount of time watching Krufa and nothing turned up. So, let's take a break and try to see if we can find a guard here. If there are guards, that is."

Piccolo smirked. "I'm down with that. We'll meet up with each other in 30."

"Right!"

With Gohan's suspicion getting the better of him, the two took up half of their own share of the lower deck. Gohan with the right side, Piccolo with the left. As the two part ways, they got right into investigating.

Piccolo was drawing attention to himself with the skin tone of his body, so he didn't get any searching done. It didn't bother him, he just found it annoying that they would all stare at him. Though, it was to be expected. This wasn't the first time people did such a thing, and it certainly won't be the last.

Switching over to Gohan, he managed to cover a lot of ground. With the distraction coming from Piccolo, even though it wasn't intentional, he snuck inside a room. He had already search the main room outside and found nothing, so the best move here was to search the private room he recently discovered.

Before entering, he took a peek inside. No one was there, so it was crystal clear for him to go inside. Gently, he slowly turned the door knob to the left and entered himself in. The room was dark, and he didn't sense any energy...

"Why is this room kept a secret from the others?" Gohan questioned himself. He brought up a good point, though.

The lights above him were flickering. He took slow footsteps as he was approaching whatever it was in front of him. He saw figures in the dark, but didn't sense their energy. It bothered him. Even though some people have little to weak energy, it was still energy he could sense. But now?

When he got closer to the figures, it was revealed to be the bodyguards assigned on this boat. And with that, Gohan ran to the bodies, to inspect. His hunch was right, but to what extent? To think several murders went under his radar, without him noticing, meant that the people that came to 'kill' Krufa were, without a shadow of a doubt, experienced...

"Dead... all 9 of them. No..." Gohan saw the eyes of one of the dead guards. Out of respect for the guard, he shuts his eyes for him. "May you rest in peace now, friend." he said with deep regret. "Huh! I've got to warn Piccolo! What if... (what if whoever these people are wanted me to find these bodies!? If that's the case, then I've got to hurry back to Krufa!)"

Gohan's worry over Krufa sparks him to enter his Super Saiyan form. As he rushed back to the door he came from, he met up with the rest of the people. He looked left and right as he continued running. Still no sight of the enemies.

However... that was soon about to change...

"Piccolo, there are guards here! The people Esdeath sent, they killed them! They can hide their Ki just like us!" Gohan said, informing Piccolo while raising his voice. "Huh!? What the...? What's going on here?"

"Gohan... these people, they're..." Piccolo's eyes were shaking. "Everyone suddenly collapsed to the ground." he had a woman in his arms as he gently placed her down. "They're unconscious, so that's good."

Gohan regrouped with Piccolo as they were walking together, checking the other unconscious people. So far, everyone was all right. All unconscious and not a single death. Gohan went up to the second floor to check on Krufa. As it turns out, he was unconscious, too. As relieved as he was, he didn't lose focus...

"It would seem everyone just suddenly collapsed. Why is that?" Piccolo said, flying up to the second level.

"Hmm. I can sense Mr. Bulat & Tatsumi, so they're fine, too. I- - We need to look deeper here. Whoever did this, they're here. We just need them to show themselves."

"Ugh..." Piccolo's hand was on the left side of his head. He dropped on one knee and multiple veins were appearing everywhere on his face. Gohan came to assist him.

"Piccolo! What's wrong...?"

"T-There's some kind of sound... hurting m-my ears- - UGH!" this time, both his hands were on each of the opposite ends of his head.

And he was right. Someone was playing a flute in the shadow. From a silent melody to a now revealed one, the perpetrator revealed himself. And he wasn't alone. He continued playing his flute, causing great pain to Piccolo's eyes as he couldn't do anything to stop. Gohan turned his head behind and finally saw the people responsible for this.

Gohan's voice was cut short as he stood up on his feet, entering his stance...

"Who are you two? Do you guys work for Esdeath...?"

"Heh, look, Nyau, these two seem to be struggling to fall to the ground." Daidara cracked an evil smile. "Not everyone can do that, so these guys must be Night Raid- - Or rather the new members..."

"(Word got out, huh? Then I guess I don't need to keep that secret anymore)." Gohan's thoughts were constantly attacked by Nyau's flute, causing him difficulty to think. "Is there more of you...?"

"Oh? My, you're really annoying with the questions, dude." Nyau said, stopping his flute as he cast it aside. "No point in using my Scream when these two can't even do one simple thing." Nyau waved at Gohan, smiling. But behind that smile was killing intent. "Hiya, stranger! My name's Nyau! I've never seen you around here before. With what Daidara said of you two being the new recruits to Night Raid, well, let's just say I can't WAIT to skin your faces!"

"Kch..." Gohan looked at Piccolo as he stood up, taking off his weighted gear. "Piccolo..."

"I'm good now, kid. That runt's gonna pay for damaging my ears." Piccolo said, throwing his weighted gear to his left.

"Oh? I've never seen people your kind before. In all my searches of planets far and wide, you seem to be an 'actual' alien! Let me have him, Daidara! Skinning him will be so much better than the blonde loser next to him...!"

"And what if he's strong...? Ah... whatever. As long as I get experience points, I'm good!" Daidara's aura appeared, shattering the wooden floor they were all standing on. "Then again, we're fighting new members of Night Raid. They both could be strong...!"

"Gohan..."

Gohan responded to his Namekian friend with a gulp. "Yeah. They're seriously strong. I can feel their killing intent from over here. There's no doubt about it. They're apart of Esdeath's followers."

"Chin up and let's do this. I'm itching for this fight to happen now. Meditating's good and all, but now I just want to punch that smug look off that blonde kid."

"Kid? I don't know how old you are, green man, but I'm not a kid! Daidara, let's go!"

"ALREADY ON IT!" Daidara's excitement was shown as he rushed off to the two, with Nyau rushing beside him.

"Here they come! Let's go, Piccolo!" Gohan's aura doubled in size as both him and Piccolo charged at them, too.

-[Meanwhile... On the Upper Deck...]-

Both Tatsumi and Bulat's checking area was clear. Still no sign of the enemy. However, they did felt their comrades' energy, Gohan & Piccolo, and wondered if Krufa is safe in harm's way. They couldn't tell, but they had faith. It wouldn't be wise to jump to conclusions here, now would it?

Nope.

If things couldn't get more tense enough, the third member of the Three Beast was finally about to reveal himself to the two, to get his job done in an orderly fashion...

"They're fighting." Bulat stated, looking down as he got serious. "Looks like they found Esdeath's assassins."

"There's two so far..." Tatsumi added. "Energy's off the charts!"

"I know. As expected from Esdeath. She managed to bring in such monstrous people. Then again, Gohan & Piccolo have monstrous strength, so they'll manage. I don't sense anything familiar with the two they're fighting. They're not members of the Jaeger, so who could those two be...?"

"Those two you speak of, Bulat, are my men. Men who will no doubt murder your weaker comrades with ease."

"(T-That voice!)" Bulat quickly widened his eyes as he & Tatsumi looked up above them.

The final member was standing tall on a platform just higher than the two's footing ground. Tatsumi was surprised to see who this person was, but Bulat, on the other hand, was shaking. The third Three Beast of Esdeath was... someone he had worked with in the past, someone who was once his comrade in arms. And... someone who was his... friend...

"Liver..." Bulat's voice shakes in surprise, undergoing a shock he didn't foresee himself.

Liver slowly levitates down to even grounds with Bulat and Tatsumi, on the far side quite opposite of them. From once friends to now enemies, it didn't stop Liver from bowing out of respect, and out of seeing a long-time friend...

"Long time no see, friend."

"Friend? Funny... I don't recall using that word to you, Liver. It would seem you've fallen off too far."

"(Liver!? This must be the guy from bro's story)." Tatsumi made the connection based of the stories he heard a few years back.

"I wouldn't say that, Bulat. Call it a 'miracle', if you will. To think my once comrade and friend, who worked with me in doing good deeds in the past, is now a member of Night Raid. You're the one who's fallen here. Fallen on the wrong side, that is."

"Kch..." Bulat started raising his voice. "Cut the crap, Liver! If you're here from what I'm assuming you're here for, then out with it! Why have you join Esdeath!?"

Liver placed his hands in his pockets and responded. "Why? It's easy, my friend. I've joined Esdeath because she saved me in that time of moment that always make me grateful for her act. Because of what she did, I'm grateful enough to show her my undying loyalty."

"Another follower, huh?" Tatsumi mumbled under his breath.

"Not at all, kid." Liver responded, hearing Tatsumi's words.

"Don't you dare say his name, Liver! You were once a general, a proud one at that. How could you stoop that low in working under a sadistic Destroyer!?"

"Hmph." Liver closed his eyes, softly smirking. "I'm no longer a general. After Lord Esdeath saved me, I became her servant."

Bulat has had enough. While still in his Teigu, with his spear at hand, he points it at Liver. Old friends to now enemies were now about to square off...

"It would seems there's no reaching you. You've gone off a dark path for far too long that I can't even comprehend. I now know what I have to do." Bulat turns on his aura as Liver did the same thing back. "If we've been on the same side, based on this fated reunion, we could've had a drink to celebrate it. What a shame. But now that you're being shown as my enemy, I must kill you." he shows his intense, intimating aura. "I must complete this mission!"

As the wind blew Liver's dashing hair to the left slowly, he responded. "Hmph. That's my line, but I agree. The mission must be carried out, one way or another." he took off his right glove to unveil his ring, his Teigu.

"Tatsumi, stay there. This is my fight and my fight alone. I've got a bone to pick with him." Bulat said as he started walking towards him.

"R-Right. Good luck, bro."

-[Back over at Lower Deck, the 2v2 Fight...]-

The fight was now on. Gohan and Piccolo, Daidara and Nyau, a 2v2 was commencing. Their fighting ground was limited, so they had to end it quickly, so they could avoid casualties. For the first batch, the first half of the 2v2, Gohan & Daidara collided with their fists connecting, sparking a little sense of an shock wave that pushed the unconscious against the walls.

Daidara chuckled as the next he focused his left fist to Gohan's abdomen, but gets blocked off by his knee. With that, Gohan gets the first blood by giving Daidara his wanting thirst of experience points with a punch directly to his face, sending him off course a little as he kicked Daidara's left side...

"Tch. Not bad. You managed to spill my blood a little. Not too shabby, kid. But I'm far from impressed here. Surely, you can do more, can you?" Daidara proudly taunted.

"Hehe, just wait and see. I'm full of surprises."

"Surprises that'll probably end up being disappointing. HAHHH!"

"Huh!? He's raising his energy!"

Daidara's speed was quickly increased as he vanished, causing Gohan's alertness to sharpen more. He tilted his head a little up as his eyes widened. He knew where he was going to strike, so he turned around and countered one of his punches with his right forearm, causing this time a crater...

"(Uh-oh. Not good. With these people around, I can't afford to damage the boat)."

"EYES UP HERE, STUPID BOY!" Daidara got in a sneak attack when Gohan was off guard, decking him with a left punch to his left cheek, sending him crashing to a table. But he wasn't finished here.

As Gohan got up, he saw Daidara making his next move. He noticed something as he was charging at him. It was his energy, it was constantly rising. Every punch, every kick, Gohan felt that if he didn't finish off Daidara now, it'll come to bite him back. And so, he entered the next level...

"Huh!?" Daidara stopped his movements as he saw Gohan in his SSJ2 state. "What the hell? Your energy just blew the roofs here."

"This is Super Saiyan 2. I noticed how every time we've exchanged fists, your energy seemingly increases for no good reason other than to serve to your advantage." Gohan said as his electricity sparks around his aura.

"Oh? So you've finally caught on. Yes, my energy increases every time I face a strong opponent, but I haven't fought one in years, so you're the first exception. I can tell the experience points is gonna be huge like I just hit the lottery! That reminds me, you're not using your full power, are you? I feel as though you're trying to see how strong I am? Well, big mistake!"

"You're strong, I'll give you that. But at the level you're going at, there's no way you can beat me at this level, my level." Gohan smirked. "I'm not okay with this idea, but I have to kill you, in order to save these people here. LET'S GO!"

This time, Gohan's speed was unmatched. Courageously charging at him, Gohan ADS his right punch to his abdomen, making Daidara to spill his own blood. And the next, he took a spin for a left hook.

This was a full-on chain of attack Gohan was about to unleash. After the successful left hook, he followed up with a right kick to his jaw, with an elbow down to the top of his head. Daidara was met again with Gohan's attacks, attacks that were simultaneously planned ahead of time, giving Gohan a few more hits in, leaving Daidara with less experience points...

"Kch... not bad, kid. I underestimated you." Daidara's anger wasn't shown, but he expressed it by spitting out the blood from his mouth, later wiping it. "You're not someone I've fought over the past years in this universe. Were you just hiding your energy when the Night Raid leader recruited you...?"

"I'm not gonna answer that. But I will tell you this. I don't want to kill you. Rather, I want you to turn yourself in. Because if we continue fighting like this, you'll die."

Daidara didn't take his words serious. He didn't take his tone serious. This wasn't new to him as he met people who said similar words. And so, he laughed. Cracking up from Gohan's words, Daidara's stomach started hurting as he couldn't contain his laugh...

"You, kill me? Do you know who I am, runt? I am Daidara, one of the Three Beasts serving under Lord Esdeath. Your words don't taunt me, and they certainly don't hold a candle in the intimidating department! Just because you landed a few more hits on me, doesn't mean you're stronger than me...!"

"... ... ..." Gohan felt the cringe coming from Daidara. It was sad that he didn't noticed this, but he was holding back. Holding back in order to see where he stood in his power range. Daidara is strong, but compared to Gohan, he's basically second to none. "You think too much about experience points that you haven't realize that the biggest experience points you want to get is simply beyond your own comprehensions."

Daidara was confused. "What do you mean by that...?"

"I'm not your average scrap of meat for you to kill for your stupid experience points. I am a Saiyan, a half-breed that's stronger than anything you and your friends have ever fought. Son Gohan, son of Son Goku and proud father & husband. I've continued training after the Tournament of Power, so there's no way you're at a level to where I am."

"Tournament of Power...? Y-You're from another Universe... the universe Lord Esdeath mentioned..."

"That's right. And I'm from the winning one." he powered down to base from and closed his eyes. His visible aura, his clean one, had appeared as Gohan was powering up. He was going to power up at a level far beyond Super Saiyan 2, to prove his point to Daidara. When it was said and done, Gohan had now entered back to his potential-self, the form that Elder Kai unlocked for him.

"Hahh... Holy shit..." Daidara was shaking. When he felt his energy, it exceeded all of the past enemies he killed, his teammates and most of all: him. "You were hiding this much power...?"

"In order to show you I wasn't bluffing? Yes, I did." Ultimate Gohan responded, later looking at the unconscious people around them. "(Piccolo's having his time with that Nyau guy, but I'm pretty sure he's thinking what I'm thinking. We can't let not even a single person here die. So, I'm going to end this quick). Daidara, last chance. Surrender now, and I won't kill you. Please consider because I don't want to kill you..."

Daidara definitely thought about it all right. It did scare him to see a power far beyond his. It set him in a state of shock that shooked his very well-being. But he got back into reality later, to stand tall against Gohan. He flipped him off as a way to so his answer, to show that he's not afraid...

"You think just because you went back to the black-hair you can beat me? I've fought bigger aliens far more in muscle than you, kid. You're out of your mind if you think I'll just let you ask me to surrender. Zero... fuckin'... chance."

"I see. So that's your answer..." a disappointed Ultimate Gohan said, closing his eyes. "Very well. I wish it didn't have to come to this. Even though you've killed a lot of innocent people all in the name of Esdeath, I have no choice but to kill you. And I'll make sure you'll die with the people you've killed backing me up...! HARGHH!"

Ultimate Gohan's energy spiked up as he charges to Daidara. He didn't want to do this. He didn't want kill a person, regardless of how evil that one person is. But in this universe, Universe 10, it's killed or be killed. As Gohan closes in, he evaded Daidara's predictable, devasting right punch and aimed in for a sucker punch.

A punch that was so strong, it left an impact that made Daidara gushed out an unholy amount of blood mixed in with saliva. A painful that led him to groan. Gohan continued his attacks and spun around for Daidara to encounter the back end of Gohan's right knuckles.

Daidara was sent flying back. Due to how hard Gohan hit him, he was close to bumping into the unconscious civilians, but Gohan's speed didn't let that happen.

The son of Goku teleported behind Daidara as he got back on his feet. He turned around and doubled his barrage of punches. He was pissed, angered to the extreme here. No one has ever made Daidara try this hard, with the exception of Esdeath, Liver & Nyau, and live to tell about it. He wasn't thinking at all when he went for this stupid tactic as each of his punches were getting blocked easily by only Gohan's right hand, with his one and only front bang showing off his might and glory, appearance-wise.

Gohan twisted his wrist, proceeding to break it, causing Daidara to undergo an amount of crucial pain as he took a step back. He started to panic. With his left hand still working around the clock, he unleashed a dark Energy Ball to him, filled with enough power to destroy this boat and the entire planet.

But... with ease... Gohan blocks off the attack.

He held off the attack with processed timing. His left hand caught it and he threw it back to Daidara, specifically at his left hand as he was now a man with no hands...

"ARGHH! MY HANDS! YOU SON OF A- - I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Daidara's scream of pain caused him to get dizzy a little, but he was still present here. "Runt, you're getting a bit too carried away, you hear me!?"

"Carried away? Maybe when I fought this being named Majin Buu a few years ago, sure. But now? Sorry, Daidara, but you're that got too carried away. And this is goodbye..."

In that split second, right as when Daidara was about to inhale some air, Gohan silently teleported in front of him. Eyes widened as he powered up his right fist, Daidara looked down and didn't move. In black and white, as Daidara blinked within half a second, he saw the eyes of Gohan. And he recognized those eyes.

It was the eyes of a person who was ready to kill. In that mere moment, Daidara had finally understood now what he was up against. He realizes he could've lived had he taken that offer, but somehow karma came to bite him...

"(I see now. This kid's killed before when he didn't want to. I can tell by his eyes he's fought beings that are much stronger than me by a lot. Hehe... maybe I should've taken him up on his offer)."

"It's over..."

Ultimate Gohan's finishing move: the Soaring Dragon Strike has made its debut in Dragon Ball DARAGON as its first purpose was to kill Daidara. His right fist came in contact with Daidara's face and the moment there came physical contact, Daidara's face splatted from the impact of the Soaring Dragon Strike, leaving him headless and dead, but the rest of his body intact.

And just like that, the battle between Ultimate Gohan & Daidara came to a close...

"Phew... that went a lot smoother than I anticipated. At least no one got hurt." Gohan looked down at the headless Daidara, with smoke coming out from where his head used to be. The fight with him was one sided, but regardless, he got the job done. He fired up a Ki Blast and blasted it at what was left of Daidara, eviscerating all of his body. "I wonder how Piccolo's doing..."

-[The Fight Against Piccolo & Nyau...!]-

Several punches and kicks were thrown here and there. Both Piccolo and Nyau had exchanged them, but they were still fighting on. Both the two collided with their hands interlocking together. Piccolo struck first blood with a left under punch to Nyau's stomach, forcing himself back as if feet was getting dragged back.

Nyau fired up multiple Ki Blast to Piccolo and they were all deflected. He saw Piccolo's pursuit of him just in the nick of time as he blocked off his punch with his left hand, returning him with a deep right punch to his stomach. Piccolo jumped back, but not without several Ki Blasts he fired himself...

"Haha! Nicely done, green man! We traded blows and same attacks!" Nyau jokingly said, chuckling as he ran after him. "All the more reason I want to skin your face!"

"Man, you're annoying." Piccolo mumbled under his breath.

The two continued surprising each other with their bare fists exchange. With each collision, a small crater was formed. Piccolo had noticed, so he had to take it down a notch so that the people unconscious doesn't fall to collateral damage...

"You just left yourself wide open! HAHH!"

Piccolo's left arm was openly exposed. Out in the open, Nyau seized at the opportunity and went for it. With an energy blade he created, he sliced up Piccolo's left arm, gushing out purple blood...

"Gahh!" Piccolo's yelling sparked Gohan's attention to the point where he rushes over to the two.

"Haha! Looks like you can't operate well now, huh, green man? You talked big on wanting to kill me for running your huge ass ears, but it looks like I did what you couldn't! Tearing off something that'll serve as a mento!" Nyau evilly grinned.

"Piccolo!" Gohan shouted as both the two looked over to him. "Are you all right?"

"All right? Kid, do you see him missing an arm? And you asked him if he's all right? Are people in Night Raid usually this stupid?"

"Hmph. I'm fine, Gohan. I'm just seeing how this person fights. Much like how you did with your opponent before you killed him." Piccolo said, smirking.

Nyau looked back to see if what Piccolo said was true. "Wait, what? Daidara died? That would explain how this kid over there is alive still. No way... Daidara is dead!?" the news shocked him.

Because of what Nyau had just found out, Piccolo saw an opening. He quickly regenerated his left arm, shocking Nyau again, and went for that opening. With his right sharp nails, Piccolo proudly rammed through Nyau's chest, ripping out his heart...

"Gaghh!" Nyau spills blood from his mouth and from the hole Piccolo made. He took several steps back as his vision was getting blurry. But he noticed right away that his heart was gone, and it was being held by Piccolo. "H-Hey... that's my- - that's my heart. G-Give it back...!"

"Sure thing." Piccolo said, throwing it up in the air as he caught it in a repeated cycle. One last catch and he squeezed it hard right in front of Nyau's eyes. "Oh, my bad. Did you needed that, by chance...?"

"Y-You..." Nyau coughed up more blood. "Who the hell are you guys? You toyed with me. You could've easily killed me, but instead you decided to humiliate me..."

"Humiliate? I guess. But I also was trying to humble you. I can tell that you were about to power up. Truth be told, I could've killed you anyway in your full power, but what difference does it make if I kill you at your best and worst? You're still the same person at the end of the day."

"Ugh..." Nyau got on one knee. "S-Shit... this isn't looking good for me."

Piccolo agreed. Smirking, he teleported behind Nyau and grabbed his head. "It's hard to believe you're one of Esdeath's strongest fighters. So far, I'm not impressed." and he proceeded to twist his head upside down, leaving him dead as he fell on his stomach to the ground. "Hmph. Looks like you finished, too."

"Yeah. And I also managed to check on Krufa. He's good, along with the rest of the people here."

"That just leads to one more person. That Nyau kid mentioned how there was one more of this so called 'Three Beast'. Question is, where is he...?"

An explosion had answered Piccolo's question. The two looked up at the wooden ceiling and felt three energies going into battle. They knew two of them, but the third? Gohan & Piccolo went on a limb and assumed that the third could be whom Nyau was talking about...

"Piccolo..."

"Yeah. Bulat & Tatsumi are fighting the third. Quickly, we need to round up the unconscious and placed them on the upper level. After that, we'll head up to the upper deck to help them!"

Gohan nodded his head. "Right...!"

Evening

Universe 10

Gowasu's Planet...

-(First Person POV]-

I regrettably remembered the last time I had to kill someone in order save countless thousands. But I do know that it wasn't going to be the first, nor will it be the last. I saw the look on Goku's face. And he saw mine. With that, he saw me bringing out my Murasame as I pointed the tip of it at Goku, who came in between Gowasu and myself...

"Goku... get away from him, right now." I didn't want to ask twice.

"Akame, I know that look. I've seen it before many times. If what I think you're about to do here with your Murasame involves Gowasu, then you can forget it."

"Stand aside, now!" angered, I pointed my Murasame at his face. "Do you have any idea what you're doing? If I kill this Supreme Kai, then Esdeath dies. And you know what that means? Many people will get to live! I don't see how hard it is to see something that easy!"

"Because no matter how you look at it, it's wrong! You're killing a deity just so you can save millions?"

I started raising my voice. "I'm doing this because those millions deserve to live! Not Esdeath!" my aura bursted out as it was destroying everything in its path. "If I do this, I could end years worth of hell, of war. And it all starts with me having his head!" Murasame's own aura appear as it was oozing off from its tip.

"Goodness... has Esdeath truly bring out the worst in people?" Gowasu said to himself, peaking over Goku' right shoulder.

"Akame, drop your blade. Now. This doesn't have to end up with losing a body. What happened to seeing me change Esdeath for the better?"

"That was before I found out the link between a God of Creation and Destruction!" I quickly replied, eyes to whole body shuddering. "I don't expect you to understand, Goku. I don't. But you have to at least understand that Esdeath's been calling the shots in this universe ever since she took the mantle of Destroyer! She decides who lives and who dies! Why would I let this opportunity slide when I can end it all now!?"

"Because if you do, if you take Gowasu's life, you'd be no different than Esdeath. Do you really want to kill someone, who deserves to live like every other person in this universe, who did nothing to you?"

What I'm hearing from Goku caused me to enter a rage. Sparking my anger to another level, my aura, red and with black outlines continued bursting out, revealing my eyes to widened. Even tears had started forming since the subject was heavy...

"You making a poor lapse in judgement, Akame! Please don't do this! Don't commit a meaningless genocide!"

"Get out of the way, Goku. Now, before I do something I might regret..." my voice tone was changing. The tone of my voice was deeper, with my front bangs covering my eyes. "You don't know what you're doing."

"What happened to trusting me? I promise you, Akame, it'll be okay. We can beat Esdeath, but not like this! I know you killed people- -"

"You think I want to kill people? Every day, I think about the people I killed, someone who deserves it and some who didn't. Those people who didn't still haunts me to this day only because they were part of the mission."

"But this isn't the mission! We came here to seek info from Gowasu, to see what he knows about Esdeath! If you kill him, we'll never find out!"

This time, as a way of responding to him, I shouted at him, furiously. "There wouldn't be any need! Now stand side! It's either I kill him and end this war... or you go with him!" the tip of my Murasame never left staring at him.

I didn't know what was going on in Goku's head, but... something tells me he isn't going to take my offer here. What was so hard about this? Gowasu & Esdeath, if I kill the Kai the other dies. This was a golden opportunity and yet... Goku's standing in my way...

"Do what you must, Akame. Just know that I won't move from this spot..." Goku waved his arms out to get more cover for Gowasu.

"Kch...!?" then I suddenly snapped.

I took a step back, wield Murasame to my right, with a tight grip, and fully swung at Goku. Murasame was embodying my aura as it was used in a form of an attack mechanism. A single strike was coming from it, powered up with everything I had, I was really determined to kill Gowasu.

Goku really didn't move. And so, I struck him as he was still in front of Gowasu. The moment Murasame came in contact with Goku's skin, an explosion had occurred. It was so great, it blew me away but I used my Murasame to stand on my feet by planting it on the ground, the tip.

When the smoke cleared, I saw the aftermath. I can't believe him. He actually let me strike him. His arms were still out, but his upper Gi was torn to shreds. I knew he wouldn't let me kill Gowasu, and I know he can tank my strikes. But for how long...?"

"Ugh... man, that hurts. Haha, can't believe you actually went for it..." Goku said, constantly flinching.

"Goku, are you all right?" Gowasu asked, leaning over to see where I struck Goku. He knew Goku was a God, but he was still in disbelief.

Goku smiled, chuckling. "Yeah, haha. I'm good, Gowasu. As long as you're good, I'm good, too."

"... Argh." I was struggling to hold my Murasame. Seeing Goku hurt, even though he intended it, I was reminded of my past. I struck down former allies, comrades before. So this wasn't anything new to me. But why do I feel bad when I did it to Goku? "Goku... please step aside. I don't want to kill you. We can end all of this if you just let me kill him."

Goku took a deep breath, his wound dripping in heavy blood as his eyes were intense. When he reopen his eyes, he chuckled again. "You don't understand what you're doing, Akame. You're confused, and I get that. This is a simpler way, but you would be ending a life that didn't deserve it."

"Deserve?" I shuddered. "Many people didn't deserve to die by my blade. It was just a part of survival. They died, so many more can live. It's cruel, I know, but it's one life or a trillion more."

"I'm sorry, but I won't let you kill him. Even though it's the best solution, I don't want to remind myself that to get that peace, we'd have to kill an innocent person."

"Idiot..." I gritted my teeth, bangs covering my eyes. "It's the only solution and you don't have to agree with it, you just have to live with it! I know you're able to tank my slashes purposely just so you could prove a point. Just why... why won't you let me kill him, to end all of this...?" I later unveiled my eyes, revealing to him that I was almost on the verge of tearing up.

"You know I can't. I can't allow you to do that. I'm not going to let you shoulder this burden alone only for you to live with such guilt that'll come to haunt you forever. You need to learn how to show mercy." Goku said, calmly.

"Some people show mercy. But other people doesn't even know the word mercy, nor do they know how to give it. Goku, it's obvious you do. I can see it in your eyes. You're the type to show people mercy, even to those who don't deserve it. That, I can understand. But what I don't understand is the fact that you won't let me kill him. We can end the suffering many people have endured from Esdeath. We can end all of it. But knowing you, you..." I never finished my sentences due to constant stutters. "I..."

"You want me to believe this is the best way, and in a sense, it could be. But that would only mean you're denying additional things that comes with it. The downside..."

"There is no downside! One life, in exchange for trillions to live... it's a good exchange. Why does his life matter when there are many others that deserve more!"

"Akame... there's a reason why I can't let it happen."

"Oh, what? Is there some kind of line you won't cross? A moral code you stand by? You know, I never doubted Najenda when she said she wanted to recruit you guys because I knew you were the real deal. But what I did doubt was the fact if you were okay on killing since it's Night Raid's method. It clouds our judgement to a certain extent, but... if it's to get the job done, then so be it."

"You don't understand it, Akame. And I don't think you'll ever do. To kill someone to save countless others, it's something no one should do, regardless of their status! You don't even know what you're about to do until you do it."

"And you're saying it's terrible to cross that line? Esdeath has murdered countless people throughout her reign. Gave sufferings to the friends that are no longer here, killing couples just because she isn't one herself! And you're saying after all of that, it's too narrow to gone down that lane!?"

Goku released his arms and was slowly walking closer to me, towards my Murasame, the tip. By just standing there for 10 mins of the time we talked, there was a pond of blood from the wound I inflicted. By touching the sharp tip, he placed Murasame down while holding off the wound by emitting a Ki barrier with his right hand...

"It's okay, Akame. It's okay. I know you suffered so much and how you just want to end it. Believe me, I would want that for you, too. You, Najenda and everyone else in this universe. But not like this. To achieve peace, you can't allow yourself to get your hands dirty. Spilling blood just to save gallons more- - it's not right."

"Pretty ironic you say that, Goku. Look, I'm sorry for striking you, I am. But you don't know what it's like to suffer the way I did, the way Night Raid did and everyone else in this universe! If I was the Supreme Kai of Universe 10, if I was the counterpart of Esdeath, then I would've done it. I would've killed myself in order to save countless millions, to ensure they can live to see another day!"

"Akame, you don't- -"

I rudely interrupted him. "I don't what? I don't understand how mercy works? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, Goku, but there is no mercy in this universe! There's no such thing! To show mercy is like saying Destroyers don't destroy. It's not a thing people can show, especially Esdeath. You don't know what it's like to lose people you love, the countless people die in your hands."

"But you're wrong. I have. I don't want to go down that path of feeling sad again, Akame. But sometimes you just have to live with it, endure it no matter how painful it is! I lost my best friend and in return I had to endure it. He's fine now, but there's no telling if he'll die by the hands of his executer again. The person who killed my best friend, I wanted nothing more than to end him. But I didn't. People can change. Some quick, some very late. At the end of the day, if you show mercy, they'll show mercy back. Esdeath will take a while, but believe me when I say it, I can change her!"

And there it is. Goku's 'words of wisdom'. He's clearly the opposite of everyone who has a mindset of killing if need be in Universe 10. I don't blame him. Maybe the story of him losing his best friend was fake as a way to make me yield of something. I don't know, I'm just...

"You are right on one thing. I don't know the amount of suffering you and everyone else in this universe has endured. But I've felt it before, even though it's not as great as yours. Just trust me on this. It's gonna be okay, Akame. I promise it will be. At first, I wanted to fight Esdeath because she's a Destroyer like Beerus. But when I did fight her, I can see why everyone fears her in Universe 10, and how she and Gowasu got exempt from the Tournament of Power."

"Goku..."

Goku continued on. "I came here blinded, thinking everything was going to go my way. Now that I know I'm wrong, I understand the situation completely now. Akame, if you trust me, if you have faith in me, then please, put Murasame down and let me do things my way..."

This... this is the guy from Universe 7. Son Goku, a carefree Saiyan who won the Tournament of Power. The man who mastered Ultra Instinct. I couldn't control my emotions because no matter how many times I tried to reason with him, no matter what I throw at him, he's always- - His answer's always going to be the same...

"Why...? Why do you have to be like this, Goku? You understand that by doing this, people can and will no longer have to live in fear from Esdeath if I kill Gowasu now and yet... you're still on that? You're- - Why do you have to have that kind of mindset? If you think you can just change Esdeath just 'cause she likes you, then- - You're just going to set yourself up for a cruel reality. And when that happens, you'll lose yourself. I don't want you to lose yourself, Goku. I don't..."

"Akame..." Goku widened his eyes.

All this time, when Goku and I were having a talk, Gowasu was quiet. It was rather that or he was analyzing my talking behavior because he kept looking at me non-stop. And if that's the case, then I know that he knows how I'm feeling. He knows I've been through hell, and looking at his face, I sense doubt & regret...

"And if you lose yourself, then there's no stopping it. I don't want to lose you- - I... I don't want you to leave me."

The amount of words I just said led me to finally break down crying. Tearing up, I didn't realize that was case. But that's a minor thing. I haven't cried this much since Tatsumi & Mine were on the verge of dying from that one mission. The two of them gave everyone in Night Raid a scare when their heart stopped beating...

"(What's with me in making everyone cry? First Esdeath, then Akame? I sure have a knack for that)." Goku gulped, deeply sighing after. "Akame, I'm sorry, but it's just how I am. It's annoying, that I can admit, but still. I know it's difficult for you to accept, but believe me when I say it: trust me. Please, trust me. Let me do things my way, to see how it goes, and I promise you... everything will turn out all right. It's going to be okay."

Words don't usually persuade me. But for Goku to sound so serious, so determined, I was sold. It still won't work. That I can believe and yet... I was moved by his words anyway. His words convinced me to trust him. This isn't his universe, so why? Why do I feel as though I can trust what he's saying, what he's about to do...?

"Okay. I'll trust you, Goku." I said to him as I placed Murasame back in my sword sheath. I sniffled a little as Goku wiped my tears away. With that, Gowasu came closer to us knowing that he was going to live to see another day.

"It's good to see you progress, Akame. Showing restrain means you have a strong will and that will is probably the will to live."

"Hmph. Yeah, it's driven by a force that won't let me rest until I can achieve peace." I added, cheeks red from the aftermath of crying. "And, um, Gowasu? I'm deeply sorry for trying to kill you. It's the easy way out, but with Goku, he probably doesn't want that."

Gowasu smiled at me. "You are forgiven, Akame. Seeing you show restraint in not killing me shows that you're strong. In pain, but strong. It makes me wonder if people on Earth are developing the same way you are. Well, the people who are opposed to Esdeath."

"You're not wrong. My group, Night Raid, are just like me. They're too stubborn to die and are strongly willed." said myself as I gently smiled.

"I know Esdeath has caused you trouble, so.. I'll do what I can in aiding you to stop her. If you do a request for me, then I'll help you in return."

"Hmm. Deal!" I responded. "And I guess I should say sorry to you, too, Goku. Since I struck you down. I'm not even sure if it was critical or- - Goku!"

After making up with Gowasu, I saw Goku falling in front of our eyes. Blood was spiraling out of him as he was falling. But, with sharpened speed, I caught him in my arms. I turned him around for his face to face mine and saw the wound I caused. Oh, god... oh god...

"Oh, no!" Gowasu quickly came down to Goku & I. Getting on his knees, he started analyzing the wound I caused. "This isn't good, Akame. Quickly, hold the bleeding with your hands!"

"R-Right! Gowasu, what's happening to him...?"

"When you struck Goku with your blade, you weren't focusing on where to hit him since your attention was on me. And because of that, even though it was non-intentional, you striked him at a vital spot, his organs failing badly!"

"I- - I didn't mean to hit him critically! (A-And he let me hit him this hard!?)" I started panicking as this was giving me flashbacks. Please don't die on me, Goku. "There aren't any Senzu Beans around here since they're back at my hideout. Gowasu, what do we do?"

"Bring him inside. I can heal him. But make sure to apply pressure to his wounds so he doesn't lose any more blood!" Gowasu instructed as the both of us got up.

Before responding, I let Gowasu hold him in his arms as I did what he asked. "R-Right! Let's head inside...!"

End of Chapter 10...

A/N: Hello, everyone. I think it's been a while since I uploaded in general. The reason for that is because I wasn't feeling motivated. I felt drained for some reason so I took a break. It was that and my family and I were tested for COVID-19. The test came back negative (thank god), but my three cousins, uncle and aunt came back positive, so things started getting intense.

They're okay now, but there's no telling if they could get it again since they're neat freaks. When I found out they got it, I was kind of scared of getting it so I took a huge break thinking for my health, along with my family. But as I said, it's all good now. They're all doing well, so it's a bonus.

For my other stories, after I submit this one, I'm going to be working on my Dragon Ball x Black Clover story since it's been months I've updated. And not to mention my soon-to-be Dragon Ball X High School DxD story. That story is in production, so it'll come, just later on. And of course, my Bleach one where I'm going to pair Goku and Candice Catnipp for no reason at all lol.

Also, do be aware here that Goku purposely took those hits and Murasame being wielded by Akame who can match a fully powered SSJ2. Please don't get all angry that he went down just like that. Even though he was protecting Gowasu, Goku really didn't expect Akame to hit him. So his guard was down, in a way...

stroziercameron: Moro will be in my other story, DBSxFT. Not this one since I'm going for original arcs (attempted ones, at least).

asim rockstar: No. Please stop asking for SSJ4.

Gmaerlover41592: Ty, and we'll see if Goku can change her.

Kosmish: Vegeta's in love with Bulma. Why would I have him lust over Esdeath? With your suggestions, it's tempting, but I think I'll pass. Vegeta's too prideful for that. For you to tell me my story's predictable at this point, well, I'm sorry for letting down your expectations (whether they weren't high in the first place).

666: I wanna learn more of the verse, but not too much. So, I'll try my best with what I'm given. I returned the 60 bucks since I told that person I'll do it for free since it shouldn't be a service thing. The suggestions he told me, well, let's just say a lot of Issei haters will get what they want 'cause holy fucking shit lol. What he told me to put, it's some disturbing stuff.

Imperial warlord: Thank you!

GeoNovaWraith: Ty, and I'm making that story anyway. I've got an idea on how to go about it. But you all can be the job of that.

twisterblake2015: Ty.

fanfictionboy1998: ty, ty!

supersaiyanman290: ty!

xxx: Yo, are you psychic? What you said, you was right!

Vegito: Are you the same guy from my DBSxFT story who called me an asshole for not uploading while also calling me "son of a gay?" LOL. If you are, LULW. If not, then you have your wish granted. This story got updated.

Wolf: ty, ty and yeah, in those 9 days, Goku said "Nope you ain't getting pregnant, HAKAI!"

Guest: I'll definitely look into that, thank you.

drake202: We'll see, but thank you in return!

Blake2020: Ty and it's coming, just not soon enough.

Guest: Oof indeed...

Malekit: Good question. I said that Esdeath is the second strongest, so... maybe I'll put Beerus as the third strongest. Rather that or they're tied, equal.

A/N: Also, for those wondering: the person who gave me 60 bucks to do the DxD story got his money returned. I'm not going to accept that money so I told him I'll do it anyway, but the uploads for it may take a while.

Even though it passed, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. Hopefully, 2021 isn't going to be another shit year like 2020.

Later.
