Peter and Kate were searching through all of Gotham for Alice, fighting all of the Wonderland Gang members they can find to get answers.
Finally, they find something that can help when they steal one of their jackets and finds a phone they think that they can use to find her hideout.
"You sure you want to come with, Peter?" Kate asks as she makes her way out with Peter beside her.
"I can help. I know she won't hurt me, and I might be able to talk her into getting help." Peter replies and Kate sees he might be able to get through to her.
The two made it to her hideout and sees it's fairly empty but they see Alice surrounded by a lot of clothing containers and nobody anywhere in site. But there was Alice, who is getting annoyed for having nothing to wear.
"Too sad, too loud, too mundane!" Alice complained as she tosses the clothes around. "Why don't I have nothing to wear?" She slams her chest close and sees the two of them are here. "If you're both here to kidnap me this time, can the two of you wait until I can dolly up into something with...a little more flair?"
"We're here to try and help you, Alice." Kate explains to her. "We want to help you."
"Why would I want help?" Alice asks as she leans in closer.
"Because you all but admitted it to me." Peter states as he walks closer to Alice. Please...I know Beth is in there. You kept this for a reason." He says while raising then stuffed animal up. "Please...let us help."
Alice seems to be more cold than the last time they met, and Peter could see it in her eyes she has something planned. But then his sense go off and he notices as a dozen Wonderland gang members come out and surrounds them.
"I don't need help. As you can see, I am quite busy, and I have nothing to wear." Alice says and the two decide to leave her, knowing they wont be able to take them all down without giving away who they are.
The two take their leave to come up with a better plan as it seems not even Peter can get through to her over what she has planned.
The two continue to talk at Kate's new bar she's working on opening since she turned down the Crow offer.
"She's planning something, I could see it in her eyes, she's not paying attention to what we say because her...mind is focusing on this 'tea party' of hers." Peter says as he sits on one of the bar stools.
"You got all of that from a look?" Kate asks as she places down boxes of supplies.
"Bruce trained me well." Peter shrugged just as Mary walks in.
"So the way I see it, you can either spend your Friday night in here inhaling asbestos, or you could join me in wearing this season's sexiest haute couture, hmm?" Mary asks Kate. "Seriously, Gigi and Bella could not even get their hands on this yet."
"You want me to go to that thing tonight." Kate guesses.
"That thing is the Gotham Humanitarian gala, I.E. the most important event of the season." Mary reminds them.
"Honoring your mom, who told our dad our sister was dead." Peter recapped.
"Asbestos it is." Kate says.
"And I've actually got plans with MJ tonight." Peter confesses.
"I get that we might be bordering on too soon." Mary says.
"Yeah, pretty sure we're right in the middle of it." Kate replies.
"I know this isn't important to you, but it's important to me, okay, so why can't it be important to you that it's important to me?" Mary asks.
Peter was just trying to figure out if that was a double negative as Kate answers. "Because you think that if Gotham sees us as a family that we'll start to believe it, and that's just not how it works, not after what Catherine did."
"But you guys gave Alice a second chance...and a third, and a forth." Mary reminds them. "How can you just write her off as Satan but you guys don't have any problems with holding out hope for the actual most evil person in Gotham?"
"Because she didn't ask to be this way." Peter tells Mary. "She became this way to survive. Besides, we couldn't do that to dad."
"Your dad's going." Mary informs them as she leaves, leaving the Kane siblings confused by that information.
Crows headquarters
Jacob was in his office when Peter came in and he looks stressed out.
"Peter, what's wrong?" Jacob asks.
"I feel like I'm going crazy." Peter says as he walks over to Jacob. "I can't seem to find any of my friends, MJ's acting strange around me, just the other day Luke pointed a gun to my head."
"Wait, how could he have done that if you were with me and Kate yesterday?" Jacob asks as Peter looks confused.
"I...was at Wayne Tower. With Mary who for some reason thought I was her brother. But she was drunk, so you know, I didn't take her too serious." Peter says and his senses suddenly go off as he faces Jacob and realizes something different.
Jacob Kane's eyes are brown...at least, they're supposed to be.
The Jacob in front of him had green eyes.
"Who are you?" Peter asks.
Jacob begins to look confused, but Peter could hear his heartrate beginning to race.
"What do you mean, Peter?" Jacob asks.
Peter just looks for the details in his face and notices a small almost unnoticeable cut on his neck. If you didn't look for it, you might just miss it.
"Where's the real Jacob?" Peter questions him.
"Son, it's me." Jacob says, unknowing that was the last nail he needed.
"I'm not your son." Peter informed him just as he kicks Jacob into the wall before grabbing his face and pulling off the fake skin to reveal Mouse.
Peter picks him up and slams Mouse into the wall.
"Where's Commander Kane?!" Peter demands from him.
Jacob, the real Jacob, was currently in the same home where Alice took Peter and handcuffed to the ceiling when he hears the door starting to get punched and is met by dark suited Spider-Man with the red web pattern and blue spider symbol.
"Spider-Man?" Jacob questions, surprised to see him and his new suit. "What are you doing here?"
"Getting you out of here, sir." Peter replies as he gets his hands free and begins to lead him outside.
Alice strolls through her warehouse with bags of clothes and is met with both Kate who look angry and Peter has his arms crossed.
"It must be time to move." Alice sighs, seeing that these two can get into her home so easily. "You two are becoming incessant."
"And you're becoming predictable." Kate says.
"Whatever you had planned for the Gala is over, we found dad, and your Mouse is in custody." Peter says, still trying to find out who this second Spider-Man is. "Don't know who went out of their way to make their own Spider-Man suit, but props for them."
"What were you planning to do with him?" Kate wonders.
"You two keep holding on so tightly that Beth is still in here." Alice points to her head.
"If so, then why did you keep the stuffed animal?" Kate asks her. "Why did you try to get to know Peter on several occasions? Because despite the hate, the resentment, the rage, there's still good, there's still Beth. So tell me what you have planned."
"Like I told you...I don't like to share my family." Alice answers and they realize she has something planned for Mary and Catherine.
They race off to try and stop them from going to the Gala, but they're too late.
Alice's plan is already in affect.
If you're still waiting for answers to the Spider-Man #2, answers are coming soon.
