Back in the labyrinth, Anastasia was becoming more and more worried and scared about Pooka. "Pooka?" she called with concern, "Here, boy!" As she went on, another topiary closed behind her, making her turn and gasp. Soon she found the little dog whimpering out of fright.
"There you are," the Grand Duchess said as she knelt down to pick him up.
"Anastasia," a familiar and scary voice echoed.
Anastasia gasped as the voice kept calling her name, and then many thorny sticks stuck up, making the poor girl scream and fall over forward.
We are then given a view of the cursed topiary labyrinth, which was now surrounding the Alexander Bridge! Anastasia and Pooka were there!
Anastasia got up and dusted herself off as the evil voice said her name. Pooka looked forward and barked angrily at a familiar figure with a glowing reliquary – Rasputin! Anastasia stared at the undead man with fear as Rasputin taunted her, "Your Imperial Highness! Look what ten years have done to us… you, beautiful young flower, and me – a rotting corpse!"
"That face!" Anastasia gasped.
"Last seen at a party like this one," Rasputin continued.
"A curse!"
"Followed by a tragic night on the ice!" the undead man said as he brought his reliquary out and finished, "Remember!" He then used the magic device to shoot green, icy magic all around the bridge, making the Grand Duchess turn away and scream with terror. The effects of the magic made the bridge crack, the cherub statues turn to evil demons, and the Seine River below turn to ice!
As she witnessed all the wicked magic, Anastasia suddenly remembered that this was the man who plotted the ultimate demise of her family; he also tried to kill her as she escaped the coup with her grandmother, but he drowned in a frozen river. "Rasputin!" the Grand Duchess gasped with fright and shock.
"Rasputin!" the undead man mocked before he growled, "Destroyed by your despicable family!" He then waved his hand over his reliquary to produce some demons as he finished with an evil cackle, "But what goes around comes around, and around, and around, and around!"
The demons circled the poor princess, and then began tormenting her by flinging her kokoshnik off her head, pushing her, and ripping her dress to shreds. "Stop it!" Anastasia pleaded them, "Get away! No!"
From behind some bushes, Sellah and Dmitri arrived and stopped with shock when they saw what was going on with Anastasia.
Bartok, meanwhile, flew up to a statue and called to Rasputin, "You're on your own, sir! This can only end in tears!"
In the meantime, the demons had finished humiliating Anastasia as she was about to fall off the edge of the bridge. The Grand Duchess glared at Rasputin, "I'm not afraid of you!"
"I can fix that!" the undead man said with a look of evil, "Care for a little swim – under the ice?" He then shot his reliquary at the bridge, making it crumble and Anastasia with it as it started to fall. "Say your prayers, Anastasia!" Rasputin cackled as the poor girl screamed and tried hanging on, "No one can save you!"
"Wanna bet?" a familiar young man growled as he removed his jacket and charged for Rasputin.
"LEAVE HER ALONE!" Sellah screamed as she followed Dmitri.
Dmitri punched right into Rasputin's face, make him spin and shoot his reliquary at the bridge; this caused Anastasia to fall even more! "Anastasia, hold on!" Sellah called out as she ran to her friend's aid.
Dmitri also came running to help; he and Sellah arrived at the bridge, and then the young man got down and held his hands out to the princess. "Sellah! Dmitri!" Anastasia cried as she grabbed onto Dmitri's hands. "If we live through this, remind me to thank you!" she breathed.
"You can thank me later!" Dmitri said.
Rasputin, who had been watching, sneered deviously, "How enchanting! Together again… for the last time!" He fired his reliquary at the young man, and more demons carried Dmitri through the air and onto the top of a Pegasus statue. "You'll get a kick out of this!" Rasputin shouted as the Pegasus came to live and carried poor Dmitri through the air.
Sellah, meanwhile, came to Anastasia's aid and said, "I'm sorry!" She let Anastasia take her hand as she said in a sympathetic tone, "This wasn't supposed to happen!"
But the princess looked at Dmitri and cried out, "No!"
Sellah also saw the evil Pegasus and gasped with fright. The winged horse bucked Dmitri off its back and set him down on the bridge. Just as the statue was about to crush him, the young man moved out of the way just in time. "Whoa!" he cried.
"Dmitri!" Anastasia cried out as she saw the young man.
"Anya, watch out!" Dmitri called out to her. The Pegasus then charged for him at the front of a ledge.
Just as Anastasia climbed up to the edge of the bridge, Rasputin shoved Sellah down and then grabbed the princess's wrist. He leaned in closer to her face and sneered, "Do svidaniya, your highness!" Then he let go of her and let her fall.
"Hold on!" Dmitri cried.
In the meantime, Anastasia managed to cling onto a metal ledge and struggled to hang onto it. She began to feel the weight of the ground puller her close, but she knew she had to hold on. "Finally! The death of the last Romanov!" Rasputin cackled, but then he felt Pooka biting him on the leg. The undead corpse shook the dog off him, and then made a demon skirmish with Pooka.
Sellah couldn't take it anymore; she threw a piece of rubble at Rasputin and shouted at him, "That's enough!" Rasputin turned and saw her giving him a deadly glare. "You mistreat this poor girl the same way you and her family mistreated my people!" She ranted at him, "But what does that matter? You speak of justice, and you think you're a holy man – yet, you are cruel to those most in need of other people's help!"
"SHUT UP!" Rasputin yelled at her.
"JUSTICE!" Sellah roared at the top of her lungs. She then kicked Rasputin very hard in the groin before she ran to look down the bridge to find her friend. When she saw that Anastasia was gone, Sellah gasped and screamed with disbelief, "NOOOO!"
Rasputin also looked down the bridge and smirked evilly; he blasted his reliquary to destroy some more of the bridge in order to have a better look.
Dmitri also looked down the bridge and didn't see Anastasia. "NO! ANYA!" he cried, jumping off the winged horse and down to the bridge. The Pegasus rammed him again, but the young man caught a hold of its reigns.
"Long live the Romanovs!" Rasputin laughed evilly.
His laughter was cut short when Anastasia suddenly appeared, unharmed, and snarled, "Right! I couldn't have said it better, myself!" Then she charged for the undead man, and they fell to the ground in a fight.
"Be careful, your highness!" Sellah cried out. Several demons then surrounded her, making her gasp. But Sellah regained composure and counted them. "Now, lemme see," she wondered out loud before counting to see twenty minions, "So there's twenty of you, and just one of me." Sellah then pulled out a handkerchief and pretended to cry as she lamented, "What's a poor Jewish girl to do?" As she blew her nose, blue smoke suddenly appeared, and when it was gone, so was Sellah!
Rasputin, who had been watching the scene, gasped with anger, "Witchcraft!"
"Oh, little green demons!" a familiar female voice called from a ways, "I'm over here!"
Rasputin, Anastasia, and all the minions looked over to a cherub-turned demonic statue, and Sellah was grinning behind the statue. "AFTER HER!" Rasputin ordered his minions before going back to fighting with the princess.
While the undead man and princess struggled for the reliquary, Sellah saw the minions, and then ran off towards some bushes; the minions madly followed her, and then ended up not only running into the topiaries, but also ramming into a concrete wall!
In the meantime, Rasputin's reliquary eventually fell from his hands and rolled to the side. Pooka caught it, but then the undead man screamed and grabbed the dog, making him trip. The reliquary fell to the ground, rolled a bit, and then stopped at Anastasia, who began to crush it with her foot. Rasputin felt a twinge of fear go through him as he was now powerless.
The effects of the reliquary getting broken caught up with the Pegasus, that whinnied in agony as it began to crumble. Dmitri, who was on the ground, ended up getting hit in the head by some of the rubble, and blacked out. Anastasia and Sellah both looked over and gasped. Anastasia became enraged as she slammed her foot down on the reliquary and told Rasputin, "This is for Dmitri!"
"No! Give it back!" Rasputin yelled.
"This is for my family!" Anastasia continued as she gave the reliquary another stomp.
Sellah gave a deadly glare as Rasputin tugged Anastasia's skirt and threatened, "I'll tear you to pieces!"
"And this," Anastasia finished, "This is for you! DO SVIDANIYA!" She then rammed her foot onto the reliquary one last time, destroying it for good.
Rasputin screamed in terror as his most prized and powerful possession broke to pieces; soon a giant green vortex shook the whole scene! Anastasia and Sellah ran back towards the unconscious Dmitri, while Rasputin looked up and screamed at the vortex. The bright green light shot through his fingers and overwhelmed his powers. Then, many demons came and circled him violently; this was all too much for the undead corpse. Then, Rasputin's body started glowing, and then his skin melted right off his body; the poor man moaned and cried with agony as his skin fell off and then revealed his skeleton, which crumbled to dust. Then the demons all disappeared and the dust blew away in the wind.
