At Manhattan High School, Donna was on her way to Calculus class until she was tripped over and fell by the Captain of the Varsity Cheerleaders, Hannah.
"Watch where you're going nerd" Hannah sneered as the rest of the cheerleaders laughed.
Hannah kicked Donna's textbooks and left, along with the cheerleaders.
Donna sighed sadly, why must she be the victim of bullying.
Donna grabbed all her stuff and arrived to Calculus.
While the teacher was lecturing, Donna was taking notes while the rest of the students sat in boredom
"Can anyone solve this problem?" the teacher asked and pointed the board.
Donna rose her hand.
"The limitation value is 3" Donna said.
"Very good Miss Craft, someone's has been studying" the teacher said and turned to the board to show how to solve the problem.
Donna was hit by a spitball by the back of her head. She turned around and saw a senior student glaring at her.
"Nerd" the student muttered.
Donna sighed and turned back to her teacher.
School ended and Donna walked her way home.
As she arrived, she saw her father's car along with another car parked on the drive way.
Donna was surprised and walked into her house. Inside she saw a woman with blonde hair and purples eyes, with a seventeen year old blonde girl and sixteen year old blonde boy with her father.
"Mom?" Donna asked in suprise.
"Donna hello, it's good to see you" Donna's mother walked up and hugged her.
"What are you doing here?" Donna asked.
"Well me, Brenna, and Brad are moving into the big city, and talked to Nick about the news" Donna's mom said.
"But where's Jacob?" Donna asked.
Jacob is Donna's step father.
"He's out looking for a new house or apartment for us to live" Donna's mom said.
"Well that's nice, I am going to study" Donna said as she was about to go to her room, but Donna's mom stopped her.
"Donnatella, you do not walk out on your family" Donna's mom said sternly.
"But I have to study" Donna protested.
"You can study anytime, for now I want you to spend time with Brenna and Brad. Nick and I have to go out for a while" Donna's mother said.
"You three behave" Donna's mother said.
"Don't worry, we will" Brenna said.
"Okay, bye" Donna's mother said.
"Bye Donna" Nick smiled.
The two adults left.
Brenna and Brad smirked evilly at Donna.
"I'm going to my room and study" Donna said as she goes to her room.
Donna was at her desk. She finished her homework and was reading her technology and mechanics textbook, she hopes to make a device or useful invention someday.
Just then, Brenna and Brad slammed the door opened, startling Donna.
"Hey nerd, the kitchen is a mess, and mom wants you to clean up" Brenna said.
"The kitchen's clean when I came home" Donna said still reading her book.
"It was clean, get your ass off that book and start cleaning" Brad pulled the back of Donna's shirt and pushed her into the kitchen to clean.
Donna sighed in defeat as she was outnumbered and started to clean.
Donna was almost done cleaning.
"Hey nerd! You missed a spot!" Brenna threw a cup of flour at Donna.
Brenna and Brad laughed at this.
Donna huffed, she was feeling irritated by their antics.
"Here let me wash you up!" Brad said as he used the sink hose and squirted cold water on Donna.
Brenna and Brad laughed more.
Donna was getting so angry, she went to her room and dried herself off and changed to dry clothes.
Sometime later, Donna's mother arrived home.
"Kids I'm home!" Donna's mother called.
Nick was to out helping Jacob with the apartment or house searching.
"Hi mom!" Brenna and Brad said in unison.
"Hi, where's Donna?" Donna's mother asked.
"She's in her room, she had a very bad day" Brenna said.
Brad nodded.
Brittney goes to Donna's room, seeing her daughter angrily packing her back pack to go to Yori's ninjitsu training.
"Hey hey are you okay?" Brittney asked.
"NO! Brenna and Brad made me cleaned up their mess in the kitchen and I got flour thrown on me and sprayed with water by them!" Donna said angrily.
"I hate them" Donna muttered angrily.
"Now they were just teasing you Donna and you don't mean that" Brittney said.
"No! They bullied me til no end and you're not doing anything about it! This is why I chose to live with dad rather than be with your new family" Donna muttered.
"Well I think you should stay in your room if you are not going to be grateful for what you have" Brittney crossed her arms.
"What? But they bullied me, and I have to go to Mistress Yori's ninjitsu training" Donna argued.
"I don't care, plus you can go to bed without dinner since you are being so dramatic" Brittney said.
"For your information, this is dad's house, not yours'!" Donna yelled.
"I am the guardian here until your father returns" Brittney said as she left Donna's room.
Donna was feeling angry. She kicked a chair down. After panting for a few minutes.
She puts on her shoes. Donna packed pepper spray in her backpack in case of an emergency. She opened the window and went through it. Lucky for her, her room was on the first floor. Donna quietly closed it back and snuck to the sidewalk without being seen. She ran and ran until she was far away.
Donna was at the north woods of central park, she didn't want to go to training or else she would make a scene of herself after everything has happened to her nor have too much attention. She walked on the wooden bridge.
Donna sighed as she rests her arms on the wooden railing.
"Why do I always get picked on for being smart?" Donna asked herself.
"Because they are foolish to know how much potential you have Donnatella" a voice said.
Donna turned around and saw Yori.
Donna was surprised.
"Mistress Yori? What are you doing here in the woods?" Donna asked.
"I came for you, I sense there is something troubling you" Yori said.
"But how did you find me?" Donna asked.
"I meditated to where you were since you didn't show up for training or called about it" Yori said.
"Sorry that I didn't come to training it's just that, today was really terrible for me, I was tormented by the older kids at school for being smart and my step siblings humiliated me by throwing flour and water at me" Donna said.
"Why am I always the target for being intelligent?" Donna groaned.
"Donnatella, do not let yourself down by listening to their insults, you are a brilliant young woman and you are going to be successful one day" Yori said.
"Really?" Donna asked.
"Definitely, and I doubt that those who proclaim them self 'better' than you will be successful in the future" Yori said.
"I never realized that, thanks Mistress Yori" Donna smiled.
Yori smiled as the two embraced into a hug.
"Now, let's go to my house, Lea, Ray, Mickey, and Cassie are waiting for you in the car" Yori said.
"What they're here?" Donna asked.
"Of course, and I didn't come here by foot, plus they want to comfort you" Yori said.
Donna and Yori walked and made it to Cassie's mini wagon cooper clubman car.
"Donna there you are" Ray said.
The girls went up to Donna.
"Are you okay?" Lea asked.
"It's nothing" Donna said.
"C'mon you can tell us, we're your friends and we won't judge you" Mickey said.
"Okay" Donna said and told the girls everything that has happened to her.
"Those bastards and bitches! Who are they Donna and I will beat them to pulp!" Ray exclaimed angrily.
"No no please don't do it Ray, I don't want you to get in trouble" Donna begged.
"She is right Rachelle, it is humble of you to look after Donnatella, but you should not put yourself at risk" Yori said.
"Fine, but if they go too far on you, I will pound them" Ray said.
"I'm really sorry Donna, we've all been bullied" Lea said.
"You girls as well?" Donna asked.
"For me, all the kids call me a teacher's pet from elementary to high school because how responsible and organized I am, seeing me as a stuck up" Lea said.
"For me, all the girls bullied me on how I act and dressed since grade school" Ray said.
"For me, everyone makes fun of me on how I still look like a child and have not fully reached to puberty" Mickey said.
"As for me, I was considered less attractive from middle school and high school" Cassie said.
"You see Donnatella, they understand your pain and you are not the only one" Yori said.
"Yeah, and don't you forget we are always here for each other" Lea said.
"Oh you girls are the best" Donna smiled.
The girls and Yori embraced into a hug.
"So what shall we do?" Donna asked.
"There will be no training today, why don't you girls go have fun and cheer Donnatella up" Yori said.
"Really! That's awesome! Thank you Mistress Yori!" Mickey said with excitement.
"Yeah thanks" Ray said.
The rest said thank you.
"You are welcome, Cassie, if you could please drop me home" Yori said.
"Of course Mistress Yori" Cassie said.
Yori and the girls went back to Yori's house. The girls said bye to their mistress and left.
"So what should we do?" Donna asked.
"I know just the place" Mickey grinned.
The girls arrived to Times Square.
"This place has everything, shops and the best food restaurants!" Mickey exclaimed as she brings her arms up in the air.
"Okay okay, so what do you have in mind Mickey?" Ray asked.
"Follow me" Mickey said as she led the girls to an edible cookie dough shop.
The girls opened and saw the menu.
Lea ordered cookie dough in a cone.
Donna ordered cookie dough in a cup.
Mickey ordered a cookie dough cookie sandwich.
Ray and Cassie ordered cookie dough milkshakes.
The girls were sitting at a table.
"Hmmmm this is so good" Mickey ate her cookie dough sandwich with delight.
"I got to agree, nothing's better than sweets" Donna said.
Lea, Ray, and Cassie nodded.
The girls brought their cookie doughs together to cheer.
After eating their cookie dough, the girls were wondering around Times Square and Broadway. Donna was having a blast with her friends and seems to forget about the bullying that has happened to her.
At Donna's house.
Nick has having dinner with Brittney and her step children. Nick noticed that Donna was not at the table.
"Brittney, where's Donna?" Nick asked.
"She's in her room, I sent her there with no dinner" Brittney said.
"What? And why's that?" Nick asked.
"Because she disrespected me, Brenna, and Brad just because they were teasing her" Brittney said.
"Brittney, from what Donna told me before she lived with you was not teasing, plus you have no right to punish her like that" Nick said as he gets up and goes to Donna's room.
Nick knocked on her door.
"Donna? *knocking on door* Donna?" Nick asked.
He opened the door and saw that she was not there.
Nick gasped.
"DONNA!" Nick yelled.
Brittney ran to him.
"What's wrong?" Brittney asked.
"Donna's missing" Nick said.
Brittney gasped.
"We have to find her!" Brittney exclaimed.
"Let me call her first" Nick dialed Donna's number on his cell phone.
With Lea, Ray, Donna, Mickey, and Cassie.
The girls were at the 24 hour Marathon Bellstore Gas Station, getting some snacks. The girls bought some chips, candy, and soda.
"There's nothing better than getting some snackies!" Mickey exclaimed happily.
The girls chuckled.
Just then, Donna's cell phone began to rang. Donna looked at the caller I.D of her phone.
"Oh no" Donna said.
"Is it your dad?" Ray asked.
"Yeah, I better answer, if I don't he'll call the police or army to come search for me" Donna said as she answered it.
"Hi dad" Donna said through her phone.
"I'm fine really, I know what I did was reckless, but I'll explain when I get home okay. Okay I'll be home in the next hour, if not then you can send the police. Bye" Donna said as ended the call.
"Well I got to go home and face the consequences of my actions, but thanks girls for helping me feel better, I really had a great time" Donna said as she was about to leave, but Ray stopped her.
"Hey, you're not going home alone" Ray said.
"What?" Donna asked.
"We stick up for each other" Mickey said.
"Plus, we'll take our share of the blame since we dragged you out to have fun" Lea said.
Donna touched by this.
"You girls are wonderful; I am really thankful for having you all as my friends" Donna smiled.
"I'll give you girls a ride, where do you live Donna?" Cassie asked.
"I live on 1920 Bolivar Street" Donna said.
Cassie drove the girls to Donna's house. As they got there, they saw Donna's parents on the front door step waiting for her.
The girls got out, they told Cassie to stay as this was their battle.
"Donna! Thank lord you are okay" Nick hugged her tightly.
"Don't you ever do that to me again, you nearly gave me a panic attack" Nick said firmly.
"I know and I am so sorry dad" Donna said solemnly.
"Well I am very disappointed in you Donna! How could you be so foolish!" Brittney yelled.
Lea, Ray, and Mickey ran up to Donna's side.
"Hey, that's not fair, just because Donna went out doesn't mean you have to be harsh on her" Lea said.
"Yeah, besides if anyone else is to blame it's us as we invited her to hang out with us" Ray said.
"Please don't be too hard on Donna, we were trying to cheer her up after having a bad day" Mickey said.
Nick was stunned on how these girls, who he assumed are Donna's friends, stood up for his daughter.
"So you three convinced Donna to leave the house" Brittney said.
"No mom, don't blame them, it's me who have left the house and then I wanted to hang out with them because they are my friends" Donna said.
"More like delinquents, I forbid you to see them" Brittney said.
"What? You can't do that!" Donna exclaimed.
"Oh yes I can because I am your mother" Brittney said.
"Ugh correction, Donna chose to live with her father and he is her legal parent and has custody rights, therefore you don't tell Donna what to do" Lea said.
"Are you being smart mouth with me young lady!" Brittney exclaimed.
"No she is not being a smart mouth, she is telling the truth and do want to know something else, you sent Donna to her room without dinner for being ungrateful for having step siblings, yet you never do anything about the stop siblings bullying Donna nor care about her. Now you discipline Donna for sneaking out when you can't do anything about the bullying. You serve no justice in that family. Donna has the right to live with her dad and you are too good to be a neglectful parent! "Ray said.
Lea, Mickey, Donna, and Nick were surprised to see how Ray roasted Brittney.
"Nick! Are you going to do something!?" Brittney exclaimed angrily.
"No Brittney because you are wrong about them being delinquents, to me I see them as true friends who stands up for each other, have each other's backs, and are selfless. Plus, you are the reason why Donna left because of your unethical parenting, so if anyone's to blame it's you" Nick said.
"Why I never! Kids!" Brittney yelled.
Brenna and Brad came.
"Get your things, we're going back to our hotel" Brittney muttered.
Brenna and Brad got their things while Brittney was in the car with her husband Jacob.
Before they leave, Ray stopped them.
"One more thing" Ray said.
Ray kicked Brad down to the ground.
Brenna tried to hit Ray, but she caught her wrist, and pushed her down to the ground.
The blonde siblings groaned in pain.
"That's for bullying Donna, and if you bully her again I will bring more pain for you two!" Ray said angrily as her ruby eyes glowed like fire.
Brenna and Brad were scared as the quickly got up and ran to the impatient honking. The car drove off and left.
"Thanks girls, you really didn't have to do that Ray" Donna said.
"I wanted too, those punks got what they deserve for messing with you" Ray said.
"I am so happy that you have friends Donna, true friends to be exact" Nick said.
"You're not mad at us Mr. Craft?" Mickey asked.
"Of course not, Donna had a reason to leave because those kids were cruel to her and Brittney did nothing. But you three made my daughter feel happy and stood up for her" Nick said.
"What are all you're names?" Nick asked.
"I'm Leavanna"
"Rachelle"
"Micheala"
"Pleased to meet you all, you are welcome to come to our house and Donna has my permission to hangout with you all at all time" Nick said.
"Thank you, Mr. Craft," Lea said.
Donna hugged the girls once more.
"Well we better head back to our homes" Lea said.
"Bye girls" Donna said.
"Bye Donna" Lea, Ray, and Mickey said in unison.
Donna and Nick went back inside their house.
Lea, Ray, and Mickey went back to Cassie's car and told everything that has happened as she dropped them to their homes safely.
