It was already nine months since that car accident I was in, and already, we were about to get ourselves ready until the baby made a push to be born. I heard Ki's reaction, and ran for her.

"What is it?" I asked.

"It's the baby," Ki answered. "I need to get back on the bed."

I rushed her back on the bed. Then I told Ki, "OK, let it out."

Ki then began to get the baby out. In the meantime, Chuck, Sonic, Knuckles, Tails, Amy, even Chris rushed in our room. "Is everything alright?" asked Sonic.

"Yes," I said. "Just that Ki's giving birth now."

"I heard her scream," Knuckles said.

"I know."

Then the last push gave birth to our baby boy. Amy picked him up and delivered him to Ki. "Ki, congratulations for your newborn baby," Amy said.

I looked at the baby, who had yellow fur. "Welcome to this world, Adam," I said.

Adam nodded to us. Then I looked over to Chuck. "You want to see your great-grandson?" I asked.

"Sure," Chuck replied. "You might want to invite your mother over to see him, and even Ki's parents as well."

I looked at Ki. "Ki, I'm going to invite my mom here to see Adam," I said. "Let Sonic, Amy, Tails and Knuckles know to stay out of sight while my mom's here."

"Alright then," Ki replied. "I'll watch out for Adam."

Then I went for the phone, and called my mom's home number. Then when mom answered, she asked, "Hello?"

"Hi, it's your son, G.K. calling," I replied. "I want to let you know that you are officially a grandmother now."

"How so?"

"Well, Ki gave birth today, and that's why I'd like to see if you can come to visit to see the baby."

"I see. I'll be right there to visit then."

"Okay, thank you very much. I'll be right here."

Then we hung up.

I returned to the room Ki and I sleep in. "Would you like to allow Adam on his new bed?" I asked her.

"What new bed?"

"I made it, with help from Knuckles," I answered. "Then I got a kids matress for the bed. We can let Adam sleep on it."

"Okay then," Ki replied.

Then she put Adam on the kids bed.

Once the baby went to sleep, I told Ki, "My mom's going to come to visit soon. Get your clothes on."

Ki went to her closet and put on her purple dress. Once she came back, I heard the doorbell ring. I got my shirt on as I heard Ella answer the door with Tanaka. When my mom came in my room, she looked at me and asked, "Who are you?"

"Again, G.K. Your son," I answered. "This yellow girl is still Ki if you haven't noticed."

"G.K., what was the phone call for?"

"I want you to see our baby," I said. "He's sleeping in this very little bed. I'll show you."

Then I led mom to her grandson. When she looked at the yellow baby, mom told me, "What a cute little baby."

"Thank you," Ki said.

"How are you both going to educate him?" Mom asked.

"Before today, Ki and I agreed to homeschool him," I said. "Otherwise, sending him to a public school would cause problems."

"Why?"

"Because he's not human like you."

"Are you going to raise him like how I raised you?"

"Yes, and I'll let Ki know too."

"Good. I can't have my family ruined over something out of the ordinary."

Then mom left us three in peace.
