We meet at Team Sonic's house and see Sonic and Knuckles playing cards.
"Bam!" Sonic said as he slammed his cards down "I win again Knuckles!"
"Ugh again?!" Knuckles groaned "You've beat me like five times! Again!"
"Knuckles you know I would win again if you want a rematch you know." Sonic said "This is just like what you and Tails did last time." Sonic started looking around "Speaking of Tails where is he?"
Door Opens
Tails opened the door and flew where Sonic and Knuckles are.
"Sonic! Knuckles! Come on, we need to go to the train station!" Tails said.
"Oh hey Tails. Uh.. need to go on to the train station? Where are we going?" Sonic asked.
"We're going to Canterlot!" Tails answered.
"Canterlot?" Sonic and Knuckles said.
"Wait did something happen at Canterlot when you two were there last time?" Knuckles asked but he saw Sonic glaring at him and Tails looking down sadly because they don't want to get reminded.
"Smooth Knuckles smooth." Sonic said as he shook his head then stopped "So what's happening in Canterlot?"
Tails shook his head and took a deep breath and let it out.
"Rarity had opened her boutique in Canterlot!" Tails answered then Sonic and Knuckles were surprised
"Rarity now has a Boutique in canterlot?!" Sonic said "Why didn't you say so!? Come on!"
Sonic ran out to the door and stopped because he saw the mane five and Spike.
"Oh yeah the girls and Spike were waiting outside." Tails said as he walked out "I told them to stay there to get you guys."
"Hi Girls." Sonic said.
"Hi Sonic!" The Mane five said.
"Sup Spike." Sonic said.
"Hey Sonic." Spike said
"Do you have the Tickets?" Knuckles asked as he got outside.
"Yeah we do." Tails replied.
"Oh good." Knuckles said "then let's get going, besides I really don't want to play cards."
"That's because you always lost Knucklehead!" Sonic teased.
"Put a sock in it Sonic!" Knuckles said as he glared at him Sonic just laughed.
Meanwhile, our heroes arrive at Canterlot.
Our heroes exited out of the train.
"Rarity's such a savvy business pony." Twilight said "I'm so impressed she used the huge bonus she earned making the costumes for Sapphire Shores' Equestria-wide tour to open this second boutique!"
"This will be very interesting seeing Rarity have two boutiqes for her business!" Sonic said "I wonder what the second boutique looks like."
Inside Rarity's new boutique.
The mane five and Team Sonic awe seeing the new design from the boutique interior.
"I take it from your reaction that you like the boutique?" Rarity asked.
"Heck yeah!" Sonic replied.
"It's lovely." Fluttershy said.
"Very Impressive Rarity." Knuckles said.
"Gosh, Rarity" Applejack said "I know hard work when I see it, and it looks like you worked your hooves to the nub!"
"I don't know." Pinkie said as she lifted Rarity's fore-hoof "Those hooves don't look nubby. They look scrubbied and buffied and pedied!"
"Well, despite my 'nubby scrubby buffy pony pedi, I actually have been working very hard!"
Rarity said as Pinkie let go of her fore-hoof "However, I never could have gotten the boutique ready for the grand opening without the help of my new manager Sassy Saddles!"
Rarity pointed to a tall pastel blue unicorn mare with a yellow and orange mane and she's wearing a short black sleeve mini dress with a gold saddle around the torso.
"Bust my buttons, Rarity!" Sassy said "The ponies from Ponyville!" Everypony but Rarity and Team Sonic said hello to her, then she turned to our mobian heroes "And I supposed you must be the heroes from another world right?"
"Yeah! Sonic's the name." Sonic said.
"Hi, I'm Tails," Tails said.
"You can call me Knuckles." Knuckles said.
"I knew I needed a manager for Canterlot Carousel, so when Sassy showed me her resume and I saw that she worked in all of the finest boutiques in Canterlot, I hired her right on the spot!" Rarity said.
"I then laid out this plan, or "pattern" as we say in the fashion biz, for Canterlot Carousel." Sassy said as she showed off some papers from her plan "so that Rarity's boutique will be guaranteed success and those doors will never, ever, ever close!"
"Wow, Sassy." Twilight said "Your attention to detail is truly impressive."
"I've already put a pin in the first piece of the pattern-Beautify the Boutique!" Sassy said "But next was the very crucial pattern piece-Marketing to the Mares! Turns out that everypony here loves royalty!"
"So,I created a collection that beautifully revolves around the royal element of Canterlot!" Rarity said as Sassy approached Twilight.
"And it just so happens there's a hot new princess in Equestria!" Sassy said.
"In every poll Sassy Saddles took, you were the most popular princess!" Rarity Said to Twilight "Coincidentally, one of my gowns is inspired by the window in Canterlot Castle commemorating your coronation!"
On the stage Rarity unfurled the curtains to reveal the dress and it was a blue celestial dress and our heroes awe by how the dress was.
"While I've always prided myself on paying attention to detail, I've taken my latest collection to a whole new level with "Rarity's Rules of TLC"!" Rarity Said as Pinkie zoomed somewhere and appeared sitting on a mannequin that has a gold observatory style headband with a wavy skirt.
"Judging by this baby, TLC stands for Tasty Liquorice Candy!" Pinkie said then she fell out from the mannequin that also made the skirt ripped so Rarity fixed it by putting it back.
"TLC stands for 'Time,Love, and Couture'. And while I do agree that this dress has potential, I've not had enough time to give it enough love to become couture." Rarity said as she used her magic to put the mannequin back where it went "But the rest of the gowns in tonight's line have met Rarity's Rules and are ready to be presented!"
"My Marketing Research also confirmed that customers that viewed somepony famous wearing a gown wish to own that gown for themselves." Said Sassy then showed her master plan that has Rarity there with a golden star "I call this piece of the pattern Celebrity Status!"
"So, Twilight, we were wondering if perhaps you might possibly wear this tonight?" Rarity asked and gave Twilight a smile wanting her to say yes, so did sassy.
"If being a princess and wearing that dress can help your boutique in any way, then I say stick a pin in it. It's done." Twilight said as she put a pin on the star with Rarity's face.
"Alright, everypony!" Sassy said "Let's set the stage!" she used her magic to close the curtains then walk away.
"Ever since I was a little filly, all I've ever wanted was to own a boutique here in Canterlot." Rarity said "Somepony pinch me! I'm about to open the doors to that very boutique!" Rarity went to the door to greet but Sassy took the spotlight.
"Welcome to the grand opening of Canterlot Carousel!" Sassy announced and the crowd cheered leaving Rarity and her friends very speechless.
Earlier…
Shadow was Flying across Canterlot cause he sensed the seventh Chaos emerald is nearby..He was looking around but his leg got caught by an Water hand then sent Shadow down to the ground into impact, Shadow groaned and got up from his injury.
Who did that? Shadow thoughted then he saw a water like energy humanoid has three fingers hands short stump tail Large legs with long two toes on each, two protrusions on the back of it's head, two pupil-less limegreen eyes and possesses no facial expressions, It's Chaos the god of destruction is back!
"You...should've known yo-" Shadow's sentence was cut off as Chaos grabbed his leg and pulled him down.
Back to the Current.
Sassy Saddles was greeting everypony that was entering the Carousel, while Rarity was still frozen and speechless that her spotlight was taken.
"That Sassy totally stepped on your hooves, Rarity." Applejack spoke.
"Oh, no! Did she mess up that nice pony pedi?!" Pinkie exclaimed as she picked up Rarity's fore hooves and saw that it's fine "Okay phew!"
"Oh, I don't think she meant to." Rarity said.
Well her Ego says otherwise... Knuckles thought.
"Rarity, are you ready to reveal the collection?" Sassy asked.
"Is she sure she doesn't wanna do it herself?" Applejack said under her breath to Rainbow and the Cyan Pegasus snorted.
"Yeah." Rainbow said under her breath.
"Yes, I am." Rarity Replied "Fluttershy, could you help Twilight get ready?"
"Oh, certainly." Fluttershy replied.
Seconds later Ponies were talking to each other until Rarity gave her attention.
"Fillies and gentlecolts!" Rarity said to the crowd "I am designer and couturier Rarity, I'd like to welcome you- again" she laughed nervously "To the rand opening of Canterlot Carousel, and I'm thrilled that you are here to see my newest collection inspired by this regal city!" as the curtains opened the crowds oohed at the dresses she had made then Sassy used her magic to take the dresses and float it to the crowd for all to see then Rarity rolled her eyes and walked to Sassy to stop but was stopped by a famous stallion with some fashiony glasses.
"Rarity I'm-"
"Fashion Plate of Cosmare magazine!" Rarity said and was surprised to see him "I'm so honored that Cosmare was able to do a piece on the grand opening of my boutique!"
"Well, when Sassy Saddles calls, Saying she's found the latest and greatest in fashion, we hightail without fail!" Fashion explained "Now tell me all about your latest collection!"
"Oh, uh, it's called "Rarity's Royal Regalia"." Rarity said.
"Royally radiant!" Fashion Plate Said in excitement as other ponies used their camera to take pictures.
"My favorite part of being a designer is finding my inspiration, and that really wasn't difficult when it came to Canterlot." Rarity said as she noticed that Sassy was using her magic for her presentation to make it look very interesting by bringing some pictures and brought her first dress to the stage "Everywhere I looked, the royal city just spoke to me! I call it "In-spire-ation"." The crowds oohed at the dress that was shown.
"Genius! Simply genius!" Fashion Plate said as ponies are taking pictures.
"I spent hours by the lily pond on the castle grounds, which inspired this gown-"Water Filly"!"
Rarity said as a second dress was presented and the crowd oohed.
"Oh, the whimsy!" Fashion Plate said.
"Watching Celestia raise the sun each morning literally lit up my day…" Rarity said as a sunny lens flare was behind and the third dress was presented with the sun "This is "Tripping the Light"." the crowd oohed.
"Fantastic!" Fashion Plate said excitedly then noticed that the lights were being darken and Rarity giggled.
"And of course, Luna raising the moon guided me to sleep." Rarity said as stars were being put and the moon was presented with the fourth dress.
"I call this "Over the Moon"!" the crowd oohed.
"Well, I certainly am!" Fashion Plate said.
"And for our finale, I have something very special." Rarity said as Fashion face was filled with excitement "I was inspired by the stained glass window created in honor of Princess Twilight… I call this "The Reign in Stain"!"
"Because the dress is inspired by the-"
"-stained glass window of a reigning princess!" Fashion Plate and Rarity said together excitedly.
"Yes!" Rarity happily
"Oh, well,I think "The Reign in Stain" is too difficult to explain!" Sassy saddles said with a short laugh "Especially for the signature piece of a collection?"
"But I rather like the-" Too late...Rarity's Spotlight was stolen…..again so all eyes and ears are on Sassy…..Again.
"Fillies and gentlecolts, I, Sassy Saddles, am pleased to introduce the grand finale of the grand opening of Rarity's Royal Regalia - the "Princess Dress"!" Sassy said as she used the magic to turn on and put the spotlight where Twilight was and she was wearing the dress making Fashion Plate jaw drop and gasp in excitement.
"SUCCESS!" Fashion Plate said excitedly he was very impressed!
Twilight waved at the ponies while she makes it to the ground, Rarity was still stunned that Sassy took her spotlight but she just smiled of how the ponies were.
"Everypony, please follow me and you can all place your orders for the Princess Dress!" Sassy said as she was holding a clipboard then walked to the ponies.
"Rarity, I want to be the first pony to congratulate you!" Fashion Plate said "The Princess Dress has just guaranteed Canterlot Carousel's success!" Then he makes his exit.
Our heroes except Twilight cheered for that amazing presentation.
"Yeah! Rarity's Royal Regalia is amazing!" Twilight said "And everypony seemed to love the Princess Dress!"
"You bet your saddle they did." Sassy agreed "Rarity now has one hundred orders for her signature gown!" Sassy was using her magic to hold a lot of papers.
Woah! Rarity might have to work overtime. Sonic thoughted.
"One hundred orders?! All at one time?!" Rarity stuttered.
"According to my pattern, the next piece is The Success of the Signature Dress, so i do not see the problem!" Sassy said.
Rarity just glared at Sassy while the others were having uneasy looks.
"Uh…" Applejack just said.
"Cupcake?" Pinkie said as she was holding one right now.
"Guys I think it's best to back away until it's done…" Tails whispered.
They nodded except pinkie and they were walking somewhere safe away so Rarity won't snap.
Meanwhile…
We go back to Shadow as his battle against Chaos, unfortunately Shadow was having some bruises when he had some difficulties defeating the water monster, Shadow was flying by a big hit from Chaos and hit to a wall as some ponies were running away from the destruction, shadow got to the ground taking deep breaths.
"How...is...he….getting…stronger…?!" Shadow said as he clenched his fist.
He looked up and see Chaos was running towards him but Shadow finished chaos off with a Chaos Spear hitting to the stem of his head causing Chaos to be in a puddle once again,Shadow was gonna get up but he passed out after the hits Chaos has got him, since the black blur was knock out, Chaos started to makes his move and goes into the sewers leaving shadow on the ground...
10 minutes later.
The Mane six and Team sonic minus Rarity walked out of the boutique, about to head to the train station but one of the royal guards dropped down in front of them.
"Sorry to interrupt your group highness but I need you to come with me!" Royal Guard said.
50 seconds later.
Our Heroes see the other side of canterlot was in destruction leaving them sans the Royal Guard in shock.
"What happened?!" Twilight Exclaimed.
"Ponies told me that two monsters were fighting each other, one of the guards tried to stop them but one of them got hit by its water attack and the other Monster used one of its powers to stop the water monster and we couldn't keep up!" The Royal Guard explained "After the Dark Monster used its final attack which had defeated the water monster it was unconscious."
That definitely sounds like shadow... and Chaos..wait chaos?! Sonic thoughted.
"Is this "Dark Monster" still here?" Twilight asked.
"Negative." The Royal Guard answered. "He disappeared after we got ponies to safety, which was the only chance of leaving, the good news is that ponies aren't hurt, That's all I have to say Princess I'll see you later." He used his wings to fly back to the castle.
The group stayed silent for 40 seconds…
"Let's go to the train everyone." Twilight spoke as the rest nodded.
Our heroes walked to the train station to go back to ponyville but in the rooftop Shadow was there.
Seeing them is a surprise... but it's their own business..but should I even find the last emerald? Shadow thoughted. Those three really wanted to go home but they hadn't seen "The Day…" Shadow has teleported away from Canterlot and is still off to find the 7th emerald (Maybe).
Meanwhile…
"Silver...Silver...Silver can you hear me?" said ?
"YES DOCTOR…" Said ? But it was robotic.
"Good looks like the three of us are separated... but no matter… I want you and Metal to find out about the place you two at...and whatever you do… Don' . HIM." Said ? "Understand?"
"YES SIR." replied ?
"Alright I'll get intact with you later!" Said ? as he turns off the transmitter.
"ACCESSING OPERATION….NEW WORLD...!" Said ?
Hmmm why do they sound familiar?
And the Chapter is Finally done after its HUGE Hiatus. For those of you wondering why I haven't been uploading chapters for a while because I have some catching up to do in IRL and it's one of the reasons I was inactive. But the story is still ongoing and I will try to keep updating and P.S.: This Chapter was Rushed...but Hopefully I won't Rush it this time.
In the Next chapter:Rainbow Dash has been Framed by who? It's up to Detective Rarity and his helping companions Sonic And Knuckles to solve the case!
