Welcome Back! First things first! I am starting a poll which I wish for you to answer in the reviews!

It is a simple question:

Should I include the end credit scenes?

I ask because some of them are really silly but some of them show spoilers or key points for future events. Let me know! I will close the poll when I get ready to write the last chapter for CAP 1.

Remember, answer in the reviews!

Review responses!

lilyflower101-

I can't wait for their reactions to him taking down the flag pool.

- Me too! That is easily one of my favorite scenes from the movie. That will be in the next chapter!

TriforceDragons -

I'm glad you finally got a chapter up! I can't help but wonder. For example: when Strange gets into his car accident, will he be watching the movies with the others or will he live it as everyone else watches the movie?

- So you mean like what happens to them on screen happens to them in life? No. I like the idea, and have read several other stories where this happens. But I will not be doing this in my story, some of the injures that these characters face would be to much for this. Like when Tony gets the shrapnel is his chest, even though it's already happened, I wouldn't want him to relive the actual pain while he is already forced to watch his memories of what I am sure is the cause of a lot of his PTSD. Or if you mean they live through the event of the future? No I am not going to do that for the same reasons, like when we finally get to Endgame. Nat and Tony literally die, while in this scenario that wouldn't happen I don't want them to go through any kind of physical pain that they experienced in the movies.

Good question though! Like I said, a lot of others have done this idea, but to me and this story it would be overkill.

Faith Sparks-

YES! YOU FINALLY UPDATED! UPDATE MORE I LOVE THIS STORY! Quick question: is Morgen going to tell Steve Bucky survived the fall or wait until he watches CA: The Winter Soldier?

- YAY! I am very glad you love this story! As for telling Steve? I haven't decided yet, mostly because a large part of me wants to wait for his reaction. I am very bitter about how Civil War played out and I still have mixed feelings about the whole thing, so I am considering just letting him find out in the moment. A little as my own personal revenge as well as Morgan getting a little revenge for her father in that moment. But like I said, I haven't decided yet.

Princess of Words-

I agree with Steve, it'll be interesting for Tony to see this Howard. I like the comparisons you made between Steve and Bucky, Tony and Rhodey, and Thor and Loki.

- I hope I don't disappoint with this chapter then! I am hoping to go into Tony's reactions more in depth as we see Howard progress through CA. And thank you, the comparisons I have seen for a long time and love pointing them out to people.

nickyreader1-

Quick question. How often r u gonna update this story?

- Good question! Honestly? I don't know. I have never had a set updating schedule for any of my stories. My muse likes to come and go and there is absolutely no forcing it. I also used to work a job with really odd hours and between that and school had little time off to do as I pleased. I have a better job with better hours and days off now so I am hoping to update at least once a month, maybe more often if I get the chance.

Jason Hunter-

I can't wait to see Peter's reaction when they watch Iron-Man 2,Also after they are done watching Captain America what will be the next movie they are going to watch Captain Marvel or Iron-Man?

- Next will be Captain Marvel. I despise that movie and will probably blow through it. I am doing them in chronological order instead of release because it fits with the timeline as they don't actually flow in order.

Once I finish with Captain America I will be going in this order:

Captain Marvel

Iron Man I

Iron Man II

Thor

The Incredible Hulk

Avengers

Iron Man III

Thor: The Dark World

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

Avengers: Age of Ultron

Ant-Man

Captain America: Civil War

Black Panther

Spiderman: Homecoming

Ant-Man and the Wasp

Doctor Strange

Thor: Ragnarök

Avengers: Infinity War

Avengers: Endgame

I am probably going to do two movies in each story. No this isn't going to be one incredibly long fic. It will depend on what the movie is. For instance, I am NOT a fan of Captain Marvel, I don't like the character or the story, so I will combine it with this first arc and there probably won't be a whole ton of reactions.

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters or anything related to Marvel.

"Oh Tony," Steve said with a small smile. "You might get a kick out of this."

"Oh?" Tony said with a raised eyebrow at the soldier.

"This is the first time I saw your father in person," Steve confirmed with a shrug. "I know you don't exactly like the man, but I think this will show you the man I knew."

"Hmm" Tony hummed noncommittally and turned back towards the movie…..

OoOoOoOoOoO

The screen zooms in on the picture from the article of a monorail, the picture fades form black and white to color and the monorail moves through the screen. It's now night and the picture shifts to see Steve and Bucky walking down a busy walkway towards the bright lights of the exposition.

"I don't see what the problem is," Bucky says with a small smile, that almost reached his eyes. He nudges Steve with his shoulder. "You're about to be the last eligible man in New York. You know there're three and a half million women here?"

"I'd settle for just one," Steve shrugs forlornly and shoves his hands into his jacket pockets.

Bucky heaves a sigh before spotting someone in the distance. He grins again, this time a little more real. He waves at them and they wave back.

"Good thing I've taken care of that," Bucky teases still waving. As the two men get closer to the Modern Marvels Pavilion two young women are seen to be waving and smiling.

"What'd you tell her about me?" Steve asks amused. He appreciates the effort but realizes that the girls are to pretty and probably both just want Bucky.

"Only the good stuff," Bucky assures his smaller friend still grinning.

For the next few moments, the screen shows different exhibits from the fair, in every scene the girls are hanging off Bucky, Steve is shown just following along behind the group. He doesn't seem to be to upset, though it is shown that Bucky tries to get the blond girl to go towards Steve, but she just clings to him more.

"OH my god," Connie squeals excitedly, she is dragging Bucky towards a pavilion marked Stark. "There he is!"

Steve wonders off to the side to buy peanuts as Bucky uses his bulk to get towards the front. On the stage a young dashing man stands with a 1942 bright red Cadillac. He is grinning with his arms out spread In front of him. The crowd is cheering, and the women are giggling.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Wow," Pepper says wide eyes as she stares at the man on the screen. Tony is beside her looking constipated. "He's a lot different than what I remember from growing up."

"From what I understand," Tony grunts crossing his arms. "He changed a lot after the war. That man on the screen I never got to see. Sure, he was charismatic but that grin, that posture, nope never saw it."

"You do look a lot like him though," Bruce says thoughtfully taking the man in. Several other in the room took a closer look and nodded in agreement.

There was silence for a moment, Pepper had interlaced her hand with Tony's and Morgan had wrapped her arm around one of his legs. She was staring at the screen wide eyed.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Ladies, you know how hard it can be putting on makeup in a car that's bouncing like kangaroo on a trampoline," was Howard Stark's first line. Steve offered Bonnie a peanut but turned her nose up in scorn. Howard continued, "What if I told you that in just a few short years, your automobile wouldn't touch the ground at all?"

There were murmurs in the crowd as Howard moves to a control panel by the red Cadillac and his scantily clad female assistants removed the fake tires. He turns a switch and the car gently raises a few feet from the ground. The crowd lets out varying sounds of awe and wonder. Steve, Bucky, and the girls are shown staring wide eyed at the stage.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Is the scantily glad women a Stark thing," May Parker asks dryly, turning to look at Tony who is a little sheepish. Both thinking of the Stark Expo from a few years before.

"It's a gimmick," Tony responds with a small shrug. "It's supposed to get people to watch the shows. I never liked it really. Of course, I used to be a playboy but even I have taste."

"He's right," Pepper sighs, half covering her face. "It's all form PR and marketing. I don't know what kind of data they are using but it's really outdated, I think. I am already in the process of having someone come through and audit everything. Make sure it was up to date."

OoOoOoOoOoO

"With Stark Gravitic Reversion Technology, you'll be able to do just that-" Howard was cut off as there was a pop and a small explosion, and the car slammed into the stage. Howard smiles charmingly if a bit on the weak side and continues, "I did say a few years, didn't I?"

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Whatever happened to that idea," Steve wonders absently. He looked over at Tony who took a moment to respond, trying to think about that particular idea.

"Dad decided, at least during the war, that his efforts were needed elsewhere," He responds eventually, reaching way back into his memory. "After the war was when Stark Industries went into weapons manufacturing full-time. It was not a weapon, so I doubt he spent much time on it. It's something that I personally didn't really think important."

"Hmm," Steve hums in agreement.

"I bet you could get it to work with the repulsor technology from the Iron Man suites," Peter pips up excitedly, most of the adults send surprised looks at the young boy. Tony looks at him in consideration. "It wouldn't be something everyday people could use, but a luxury item at first."

"That," Tony began, pointing at the young boy sprawled on the floor. "Is an incredible idea, and why haven't I thought of that?"

"I told you," Morgan chuckles looking around at the gaping faces. Peter shot her a smile. "But talk about that later."

OoOoOoOoOoO

The audience applauds and Bonnie swoons over Howard, Steve looks at her in exasperation before glancing around. He spots something in the distance and Bucky gets cosey with Connie.

"Hey, Steve. What do you say we treat these ladies-"Bucky turns to say, but Steve is gone. Where he had been standing is a little girl digging through the bag of peanuts that Steve had originally bought for Bonnie.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Did you just give her those peanuts?" Laura asks amused.

"Yeah," Steve confirms with a shrug. "I had heard her asking her father for a bag and gave her the mostly full one I still had."

"And her father just let you do that?" Darcy asks skeptically, having a hard time thinking a father would just let a random stranger give his daughter peanuts.

"It was a different time," Steve said with a sigh, thinking back. He missed the way the world was. "There wasn't as much fear and hate within our own cities. Yes, we were cautious, but its not like today."

Once again there was silence as the group thought about how much the world had changed in less than 100 years.

OoOoOoOoOoO

The scene changes to see the inside of a recruitment center. There is a mirrored display showing a soldier without a head. A large burly man stands in front of it and it fits him perfectly. He moves out of the way and Steve steps up but can barely be seen over the collar of the uniform. Steve turns as a hand lands on his shoulder, he looks up to find Bucky frowning at him,

"Your kind of missing the point of a "Double Date"." Bucky complains trying to lead him out of the center. "Come on, we're gonna get a chocolate soda."

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Chocolate Soda?" Peter questioned looking up at the blond soldier. "Is it literally chocolate flavored soda?"

"It wasn't originally no," Steve said with a chuckle. "It used to be the way you would say a float, but over the years since people have actually created a chocolate flavored fizzy drink."

"Huh," Peter hummed, looking like he could not decide if that was gross or delicious. "I think I would like to try it."

"We can certainly do that," Tony said with a grin, Pepper nodding along, already approving the area. "Jarvis?"

"Yes sir," the AI responded, a few people jumped, having forgot about him. They were looking around for the speakers and cameras.

"Order enough chocolate soda for everyone for tomorrow, also order enough makings for an original chocolate soda that everyone can try," Tony rambled off to his AI. The others in the room grinned slightly in excitement at the idea.

"Ordered sir," Jarvis confirmed, "Estimated delivery, 1030 tomorrow morning."

"Thank you, Mr. Stark!" Peter exclaimed excitedly practically vibrating from his spot.

"Thank you, Tony," Steve said quietly, he received a small smile and a wink. Everyone else started chiming in their thanks to the billionaire as well.

"Eh," Tony waved them off with a genuine smile. "We are going to know each other's deepest darkest secrets, at least we can enjoy the company and process."

OoOoOoOoOoO

"You go ahead," Steve denies, shaking his head. He turns back to look at the recruitment posters. The view shifts to show an older man hiding behind the corner listening to the conversation. Bucky was eyeing the recruitment signs with disdain and resignation.

"You're really gonna do this now?" Bucky sighs and runs a hand through his neat hair. Steve grins up at him with a unrepentant expression

"It's a fair," Steve shrugged and looked around at the other exhibits. "I'm gonna try my luck!"

OoOoOoOoOoO

"I don't think that's how that works," Nakia said with some doubt. The others in the room were shaking their heads and chuckling softly.

"Ya never know," Steve defended with a blush. "It was a pop-up recruitment center, so I wasn't likely to be recognized from the others that I had tried to go to."

"Fair," Nakia said with a chuckle as she leaned farther into T'Challa's side.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"As who?" Bucky asks exasperated. This was an argument that they had had more than once since the war started. Steve would never give up. "'Steve from Ohio'? They'll catch you. Or worse, they'll actually take you!"

"You don't think I can do it," Steve realizes with a grim smile face flashing with disappointment. Bucky had always been Steve's number one supporter in everything. This though, was something Bucky couldn't, or wouldn't support him in.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Okay, that actually really hurt," Steve admitted. He ran his hand through his hair. "I knew Bucky wasn't really thrilled about me trying to join up, be he hadn't outright spoken against it either."

"He was just trying to protect you," Peter spoke up turning around to brace his hands on the blonde's knees. "Harry would do the same thing for me. I know he would. He just didn't want you hurt."

"I know," Steve said with a small smile, ruffling the kid's hair. "It still hurt to have it shoved in my face though."

"It was his last time to try to get you to stop," Peter pointed out, that caused Steve to pause a second. "He was deploying, and he didn't know when or if he would come back. He wasn't going to be able to pull you out of the fire or talk you out of it from the front lines."

"You're right," Steve muttered with a creased brow. "I didn't think of it like that."

"He still could have been a bit nicer about it," Richard Parker muttered, thinking about Peter and Harry and how scarily familiar these interactions are.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"This isn't some back alley, Steve," Bucky points out sharply looking his best friend in the eye. "It's a war. Why are you so keen to fight? There are lots of other important jobs—"

"You want me to sit in a factory? Collect scrap metal in my little red wagon while the men are laying down their lives?" Steve interrupted fiercely. His passion for this burned in his blue eyes, Bucky huffs and crosses his arms. "I can do as well as them, and I got no right to do any less."

There was a long pause as Bucky and Steve sized each other up. "That's what you don't get Bucky. This isn't about me."

"Right." Bucky scoffs with an eye roll. "Cause you've got nothing to prove."

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Harsh," Eric said with a frown. He crossed his arms with a scowl.

"Yeah that hurt," Steve admitted with a sigh. "I realized later he was just trying to protect me. But it still hurt."

OoOoOoOoOoO

There was a tense silence on the screen as the two scowled at each other before the two girls appeared behind the.

"Hey sarge," Bonnie called with a smile. "we getting sodas?"

"Yeah." Bucky called back, just a little short. "We are."

Bucky turns to walk back towards the two ladies, obviously annoyed. But he pauses, a torn look on his face. After a long moment he turns back towards Steve and holds out his hand. Steve sees his genuine worry takes it as it is and shakes his oldest friend's hand.

"Promise me you won't do anything too stupid before I get back," Bucky says with a small smile.

"I can't." Steve snorts fondly raising an eyebrow. "You're taking all the stupid with you."

"You're a punk," Bucky said affectionately.

"You're a jerk," Steve returned with the same tone.Bucky nods a little, accepting that he can't change his friends mind, and turns to go once again. He spins and walks backwards to give one last little wave. "Don't won the war till I get there."

OoOoOoOoOoO

"They remind me of us a few centuries ago," Loki whispered to Thor. The older god looked at his brother in surprise for a moment before nodding in agreement.

"I miss that," Thor admits softly resting his hand on his brothers head. The fact that he wasn't shrugged off made his heart a little lighter. Maybe his younger brother wasn't as far gone as he had seemed.

OoOoOoOoOoO

Bucky sends a wink before turning and sweeping a pretty girl under each arm and leading them away. Steve turns back towards the recruitment tent and visibly gathers his courage and approaches.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Is this finally the time then?" Darcy asks peeking up over the edge of the couches to see Steve.

"Yes," Steve said with a smile. He was obviously caught up in the memory of what was playing on the screen. There were some murmurs before the screen continued.

OoOoOoOoOoO

In a time jump the screen now showed a young doctor with a shirtless Steve in an exam room. The doctor rips a blood pressure cuff off Steve's arm before turning and marking somethings in a file.

"You can get dressed," he said absentmindedly, a young nurse enters and whispers to the Doctor, to low for the others to hear. They eye Steve for a moment, "Wait here."

"Am I in trouble?" Steve questioned nervously looking between the two.

"Just wait here," the young doctor sighs as he and the nurse turn to leave the exam room. Steve is shown eyeing a poster that comes into view:

IT IS ILLEGAL TO FALSIFY ON YOUR ENLISTMENT FORM.

ONLY TRAITORS LIE TO THEIR COUNTRY!

OoOoOoOoOoO

There are snorts through out the room and looks thrown towards Steve who has a sheepish look.

OoOoOoOoOoO

Steve is scrambling for his shoes when an MP slips through the curtain. Steve visibly swallows and sits back down on the table, "I'm in trouble."

OoOoOoOoOoO

More snorts are heard around the room and more than a few giggles followed.

OoOoOoOoOoO

Sometime has obviously passed as Steve is now dressed and fidgeting on the exam table. Soon the older man who had been seen earlier enters the room wearing a lab coat and looking at a file. "So, you want to go overseas, kill some Nazis?"

"Excuse me?" Steve asked slightly indignantly. The older man studied him for a moment before offering his hand.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"That…." Everette trailed off with a raised eyebrow trying to find the words. "was blunt. Very blunt."

"He didn't like to beat around the bush, that's for sure," Steve said with a chuckle.

"Your face though," Morgan chuckled, looking over at the man. Who then proceeded to give her the exact same look. That just made her full out laugh. "Yeah, that look."

Steve grossed his arms and grumbled for a moment with a small blush. Morgan's smile turned slightly sad as she remembered James and just how similar the two actually are.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"I'm Doctor Abraham Erskine," the man offered, Steve hesitated so the man continued. "I represent the Strategic Scientific Reserve."

Steve reached out and shook his hand after that, "Steve Rogers, where are you from?"

"Queens. 73rd and Utopia Parkway. And before that, Germany," there was a pause and a raised eyebrow. "This troubles you?"

Steve visibly considers this for a moment before shrugging negative. Doctor Erskine hums pleased.

"And where are you from, Mr. Rogers?" Erskine questions flipping the file open and perusing the page. "Is it New Haven, or Paramus? Five exams. In five different cities…"

"That might not be the right file—" Steve tried to dissuade sheepishly.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Five attempts?" Rhodey asked amused as people chuckled around the room. "I thought it was more to be honest. With how jumpy you are."

"There were more than five," Steve said, his blush seemed permanent at this point. "Just in some cases I got turned away before they would even let me file the paperwork. So it wouldn't be in his file."

"How many we talking here Cap," Happy said leaning forward to look at the super soldier better.

"12," was the muttered reply. Chuckles were heard again around the room.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Its not the exams I am interested in," Erskine waves off, not concerned. In fact, he didn't even look up from the file. "It is the five tries."

Steve blinked at the man for a moment clearly confused. Erskine peered at Steve over the edge of the file.

"You didn't answer my question. You want to kill Nazis?" the question was very matter of fact. Doctor Erskine's full attention now rested on the young man in the room with him.

"Is this a test?" Steve asked nervously, tugging at the color of his shirt.

"Yes," the doctor answered simply. Steve paused for a moment, taking a moment to think about his answer. He really didn't know what answer the Doctor was looking for, but he has always done things under his own merit, so the answer was honest.

"I don't want to kill anyone, but I don't like bullies, Doctor," Steve said simply, and tacked on "I don't care where they are from."

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Did you just call Nazis…bullies?" Natasha asked incredulously, blinking at the screen. "You just described the worlds largest and worst group of genocidal terrorists as bullies."

"Uhhhhh….."

"Only you Rogers." The spy said with a small smile.

Even though the avengers had only had a few days together, they knew a lot more about each other than some would think. Being side by side with someone in a life or death, end of the world scenario really gives you an insight to their personality.

Plus she is a super spy…its her job to know him to well.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"There are plenty of big strapping men in this war," Erskine replied eyeing Steve again. "What they need now is maybe the "little guy". Yea?"

"Maybe," Steve shrugged, then asked the question that had been bugging him since the man walked in the room. "What do you do, exactly?"

"I can offer you a chance," Erskine says instead of answering the question. "Only a chance."

"That's all I'm asking for," Steve said with a hint of excitement, grabbing his jacket and following the man back towards the desk out front. Erskine lays his file out on the desk and reaches for a stamp.

"So, where is the little guy from really?" Erskine asks with a little humor turning to look at Steve again.

"Brooklyn," Steve says with a smile, he really loves his home. Erskine stamps the file and hands it to Steve.

"Congratulations solider," he says with a small smirk and walks away. Steve opens the file, there in the bottom corner is the 1A. He's in.

OoOoOoOoOoO

"Did Bucky get to know that you got in?" Pepper asked curiously.

"Not then," Steve said with a sigh. "We didn't live together; I had moved out after getting over the really bad sickness I had. So, after we parted ways there, I didn't see him again for several months. There really wasn't a way to send him anything either, with him being over-seas and me in basic training."

"So when did he find out?" Furry piped up for the first time in a while. He was under the impression Barnes had known about the Super Solider Serum before Steve took it.

"I am sure the movie will show it," Steve answered with a slightly mischievous look, he knew the Furry hated waiting for answers. "It's actually during a very important part of everything so I don't want to spoil it for everyone."

"Rogers…" Furry growled slightly, but backed off knowing he'd have his answers soon. He still hated waiting for them though.

There were some chuckles as the SHIELD agents realized the problem.

"Umm…" Peter piped up tentatively from his spot. He was glancing between the adults, clearing wanting to ask something but wasn't sure it was important enough.

"What's up buddy?" Tony asked with a smile at the preteen. He had taken a liking to the young Parker at some point during the short time they had been watching the movie already. So had most of the others actually.

"Could I possibly have something to drink or a snack?" he asked timidly, not meting anyone's eyes.

"Of course, sweetie," Pepper said with a soft smile, she stood from her couch and Peter met her around the back of the rows of couches. She placed her arm around his shoulders.

She led him over to a corner of the room that the others hadn't really taken in before. There was a full-sized refrigerator, a microwave oven and boxes with chips and snacks. She helped him get a bottle of water and a bag of chips before returning to the seating area. Tony watched with a small smile on his face. Morgan was watching both her parents with a knowing look.

"There is plenty of snacks and drinks over there," Happy offered as he himself took a moment to get a soda and some cookies. "Feel free to help yourself."

"We also have pizza set to be delivered at the end of this movie," Tony said with a smile. There were murmurs of appreciation from the others and a few of them wondered over to the corner to get something to tide them over for the next couple of hours. Peter had sat back down on the floor in front of Cap and was happily munching away.

Once everyone was re-seated the movie continued…
