This is the tenth chapter to the story Maggie Pan which picks up from where the battle left off, Captain Sephiran was making his way to the ship where Sergeant Mac Philips and the crew were on board the ship to hold off the pirates.
Disclaimer; I don't own the characters of Hook or the movie itself, it belongs to Tristar Pictures but the story itself and Commodore Corven belong to me. So enjoy the story.

Chapter Ten

On the Royal Amber Fox.

Seeing as the battle was starting to turn in favour of the British Navy and their allies the Lost Boys, Sergeant Mac and the crew knew that victory was at hand but when they saw some pirates on the boats, the crew started firing their cannons on the boats.

As the cannons fired their shots near their targets, the pirates on at least four-row boats made their way across the water. But each of the boats was destroyed by lucky shots by the cannons from the ship which sent the pirates on board flying into the water.
Sergeant Mac Phillips continued with his command, as the men worked to load the top cannons of the ship before firing another volley on the approaching ships to keep the pirates at bay.
He knew that it wouldn't make any difference, but Mac Phillips also knew he had to make the day count as he would soon meet God as long as his conscious is clear.

Back at the Fortress town.

Starkey had separated from Moira after they entered the fortress when he noticed a pirate and Lieutenant Horace was on the wall, both fighting against the Lost Boy Ace, so Starkey made his way up the stairs to try and stop them from killing the boy who was defending himself.
Whilst Starkey made his way, Moira started defending herself in the crowds until her horse got shot by a Pirate with the pistol. In the midst of the battle inside the Fortress between the soldiers, lost boys and the pirates, the Captain Sephiran was making his way across the town when Sergeant Schmitt and a small group of pirates joined his side to head for the harbour.
Crossing a path on the left-wing of the town, the Pirates made the rush towards the boats getting each of them ready to cross the sea. Captain Sephiran was just coming to one of the boats when he crossed the path of Andrew Corven.
"Sephiran, come forth so I may strike you down!" he said holding his sword up.

"Andrew Corven, prepare to meet your doom!" Sephiran replied drawing his sword.
"Not so fast Sephiran, you're going to have to deal with me first!" Maggie said as she appeared at the right side with her sword at the ready.
Sephiran turned his head to look at Maggie with an annoyed look on his face.
"Would you mind your own business Maggie Pan, I was just about to engage the fire Crow."

"Oh, then would you rather beat the girl that you wished to enslave?" Maggie said as if challenging Sephiran to a duel to the death.
With a glare on the young girl as he thought on it, Sephiran turned raised his sword and held it as if showing Maggie the decoration of the sword.
"You like my sword? It once belonged to Captain Hook once, I received it from Bill Jukes himself before I killed him myself with it," he asked.

"It looks appropriate for one who is such a bad man above all," Maggie replied.

"Shall I take that as a compliment?" he asked Maggie before he swiftly swung his sword on Maggie's face, the tip of the sword nicked her in the face.
Gasping in shock, Maggie felt the cut from Sephiran's sword which left a small scar on the front of the ear to her face. Sephiran drew a grin as he spoke. "Now this makes us even Maggie Pan."
With that they two started a short duel, fighting together when Sergeant Schmitt appeared.
Andrew soon started to fight against the pirate.
Whilst the two were in their duel the other pirates made their way to the boats, but the duel itself became short.
When Mr Schmitt threw a punch on Andrew whilst they locked their blades together, Andrew stumbled backwards.
Once the boy was on the ground, Mr Schmitt went off towards one of the boats.
He was about a few steps from Maggie and Captain Sephiran who were still in their duel together when Andrew got himself up.
"Mr Schmitt!" he shouted to the Pirate.
Grabbing his pistol he was about to turn and shoot Andrew when the boy threw his dagger out on the Pirate. The Dagger flew straight into his chest, causing Mr Schmitt to gasp, firing his pistol in the air which alerted Captain Sephiran that he had to go.
Sephiran wrapped his leg behind her before tripping her.
Once she landed on the ground, Sephiran turned and ran off whilst Maggie stood herself up to chase after him. She was about to run when she heard her mother's voice. "Maggie!" She screamed as she was trapped underneath her horse. Turning to where her mother's voice came from, Maggie realized that her mother needed her help so she flew up in the air to see where she was.
Even Andrew heard the scream and he went straight towards the same spot.

As soon as he got to the pier where the other pirates were waiting for him, Captain Sephiran stepped on board the boat. One of the pirates untied the rope at the end before they started rowing for the ship ahead as the other boats were starting to get close.
Whilst Captain Sephiran made his way for the ship, the lost Boy Ace was still fighting against his pirate foe until Ace finally killed the pirate with the sword thrust to the side.
When he turned to face Lieutenant Horace, he saw that he was attacking the pirate Starkey with a few thrusts and strikes sending him moving back whilst deflecting and blocking Horace's oncoming attacks. Pausing to breathe, Lieutenant Horace spoke to Starkey.
"I should've known you would betray us for that harlot sister of Austen's."

"She is not a harlot, traitor and you're no worse traitor than I would ever be, murdering an old man with a rifle," Starkey spoke firing back on Horace who then struck a few strikes again before thrusting his sword upon Starkey's left leg which sent him down on one knee.
Horace struck Starkey's sword to the side and punched his face with his left fist, sending him to the side.
Starkey landed on the sidewall before he fell on his back.
Horace was about to thrust his blade into him when his thrust was blocked by Ace's strike, Ace threw another strike on Horace but he blocked the side blow and stood back.
"Your Business is with me, traitor." Ace spoke. Horace scoffed in amusement before he replied.
"So it is." Ace turned his head to Starkey, raising his sword up as if saluting Starkey who raised his sword in saluting Ace back before Ace raised his sword to duel with the traitor soldier.
Swinging his sword in one swish, Horace went into a battle stance.
"Let's see if you're as brave a person as that Rufio boy was and as foolish," Horace remarked to Ace and made the first strike upon the lost boy, starting the duel off. The soldier and the lost Boy fought it out whilst Starkey tended to his wound.

Back on the ground of fortress, Moira was still stuck under her horse.
She tried to lift it up but it was too heavy for her. Suddenly a pirate appeared over her holding a cutlass. Moira's eyes widened in horror as the Pirate was about to strike a deathblow on her neck when Andrew and Maggie had arrived. "Mom!" she shouted.
"Maggie!" Moira shouted back when she turned her head. The pirate turned to see the kids so he went off towards them, only Maggie was the one to step forth to answer the call to duel with the cutlass pirate. The two started fighting whilst Andrew went to help Moira out.
He bent his knees and reached down to the side of the horse before he lifted it.
Andrew kept on pulling it high but it wasn't enough when one of the other soldiers came to aid them. Together they lifted it high enough for Moira to pull her leg out from under the side saddle of the horse. As soon as she pulled her leg out from under the horse, Moira crawled away from the horse and stood herself up whilst Andrew and the two soldiers dropped the horse' body down.
Brushing herself off Moira brought Andrew in and hugged him saying thank you into his ear, when they withdrew they turned to see Maggie still fighting the pirate until Tinker Bell appeared and knocked a brick over from the top of a house, sending it on the pirate who got hit in the head knocking him down in front of Maggie.
Looking up to see the fairy Tinker Bell in the air, Maggie nodded to her saying thank you before she turned back to see her mother was free from being trapped by the horse.
She then ran straight into her mother's arms embracing her.
But withdrawing from the embrace, Maggie spoke.
"Mom, listen to me. I wish we could embrace longer but you should know, Captain Sephiran is taking the ship. I have to find Charles Corven and stop Sephiran once and for all."

"Wait!" Moira spoke out before Maggie could leave, she pulled her daughter into one last embrace before she withdrew from her to look at her and said. "Go and stop him because I believe in you, Maggie." Maggie turned to Andrew who drew a grin.
"This is for you with luck Maggie," he said before he kissed her cheek for luck.
Maggie drew a smile before she turned away to fly off and bring Commodore Corven who was just making his way to the Pier after fighting off a few pirates in the town.

On Board the Royal Amber Fox.

Whilst Maggie was flying off into the air to look for Commodore Corven, the boat carrying Captain Sephiran close was already close to the ship after avoiding the cannonballs.
Now he and his pirate crew were making their way up the ladder of the ship, some climbing up using grabbling hooks to scale the ship's side whilst others followed their captain.
The others on the boats shot on the ship's crew, wounding a few of them to cover their pirates on the ship's side.
As soon as they had managed to reach the bannister of the ship's side, Captain Sephiran drew his sword killing the first two soldiers on board before he climbed over the bannister and faced off with Sergeant Mac Phillips in a sword duel.
The two men battled it out in their duel leading to the aftercastle whilst the other pirates climbed up and battled with the ship's defenders on the decks as the battle laid out on the ship. A dozen of the Pirates went down from being shot down whilst a few of the crew were lost in the battle, leaving only Sergeant Phillips and Sephiran still sword fencing on the aftercastle of the ship.
The pirates who were alive waited and watched as their Captain fought the soldier in the duel.

Back on the wall part of the fortress, another duel was still ongoing, Starkey and the traitor Horace was still fighting together across the wall when Lieutenant Austen had arrived to join in.
"Ah Lieutenant Austen, you join us at last," Horace said.

"I'm just here to see you dead for your treachery Horace." Lieutenant Austen stated to Horace who smirked as he spoke.
"It's funny how you wish it because this pirate was hoping to defeat me to save your beloved sister."
With that Horace raised his sword to strike when Starkey grabbed his arm and struck him in the face before they sword fought again, throwing each other about as they kept up the duel.
Lieutenant Austen stood surprised at the reason Starkey was fighting on his side.
But by the time he brushed off his daze to go after Starkey and Horace, the lost Boy Thud Butt had appeared coming up the steps he called out for Lieutenant Austen.
So he went over to the steps to meet with Thud Butt.
"What news do you bring Thud Butt?"

"There's good news that we've got the pirates on the run. We're winning this battle." Thud Butt stated to Lieutenant Austen who drew a grin at the news.
Turning back to see Starkey fighting off Horace and the Ace getting close to attack him from behind, Lieutenant Austen decided to leave the subject until after the battle.
Turning back to Thud he spoke. "Thud Butt, let us lead our groups to victory."
Pounding his chest with the sword in his hand Lieutenant Austen gave a salute which Thud butt did as well before he led the way with Austen coming down the steps. When they reached the bottom, Lieutenant Austen blocked the oncoming Pirate's blow before Thud thrust his sword on the pirate taking him down before the two moved on to the grounds.

As the battle between Starkey and Horace continued, Horace stood his ground but he was quick to sense the lost boy coming up from behind him.
Catching Ace before he could make his move, Horace swiped Ace's sword thrust aside with his sword, grabbing him by the arm he struck Ace in the side with his knee.
Ace grunted at the knee kick when Horace then punched him in the face sending the lost boy flying back before he turned and blocked Starkey's strike. Kicking Starkey sending him walking backwards until he fell on the ground.

Horace spoke his mind about Starkey's sword skill as he stood.
"Well I admit to you pirate, your skill of distraction is impressive. Its a shame that I have to kill the Lost boy first!" he said to Starkey, turning himself to face the Lost boy he threw a straight punch in his face which sent the lost boy Ace backwards from Horace.
He turned back to look at Starkey. "Don't go anywhere!" Horace warned Starkey before turning from him he walked up toward Ace.
On approach, Horace struck with a side strike which Ace blocked and swung a strike of his own. Getting himself up, Ace the Lost Boy fought the traitor Horace for a minute until Horace had disarmed him and threw him against the barrier.
Holding his sword on the Lost Boy, Horace looked on him and spoke.
"Oh such irony, have I told you how pathetic you are boy?"

"Pathetic, How come?" asked Ace. Horace drew an evil grin laughing at the boy before he answered. "You're going to end up killed by the same man who killed the old man."

Shocked by Horace's confession, Ace gasped looking at Horace as he stood.
"You killed Tootles?" he asked and Horace nodded. "Yes, I did, as I will now kill you."
With that remark, Horace thrust his sword at Ace but he moved aside, dodging the sword thrust before hitting his arm with his fist. Running up, the Lost Boy Ace climbed on top of Horace's back and held on whilst Horace tried to get him off when Ace saw Starkey come up to them.
Holding a rifle with a bayonet attached, Starkey hid himself waiting for Ace to get off so he can make his move on the soldier. Seeing what the former pirate intends to do, Ace got himself off Horace but the soldier grabbed his arm and threw him to the ground.
Ace crawled on his back as Horace approached, drawing a dagger in his hand.
He tossed his sword on the floor and spoke. "One thing's for certain Lost boy, you won't live to see another day in Neverland again."
As Horace raised his dagger high ready to stab Ace, that was when Starkey appeared.
The pirate charged straight on Horace whilst Ace rolled to the edge. Starkey drove the bayonet's tip straight into Horace's chest, he gawked as the blade slid deep into him.
Cringing in pain Horace leaned back on the barrier dropping his dagger as he grabbed hold of the bayonet in his chest, but Starkey then yanked it out.
The wood of the barrier creaked under Horace's weight as he moaned in agony, Horace looked up to Starkey who spoke his words to the soldier. "You might have been mistaken Sergeant."
It was a few seconds as Sergeant Horace leaned against the barrier behind him, it broke apart from between the posts sending the soldier Sergeant Horace yelling, he fell off the edge to his death.

After seeing the traitorous soldier fall, Starkey breathed a sigh of relief that the fight was over when he turned to look at Ace who stood looking at him for a few seconds before he drew a grin.
Ace stepped forward, still looking at the pirate.
Suddenly he raised his hand up to shake Starkey's hand, Starkey took it and he brought him into his chest embrace him with his free arm. "Thank you, Starkey." Ace said to Starkey who then withdrew from the Lost Boy. "I did what needed to be done Ace," he said.
The two shared a short minute as they stood, seeing the battle was going on Ace and Starkey went off to the stairs to head straight into the battle with the alliance of British Soldiers and Lost Boys beating the Pirates back outside the fortress as well as inside the gatehouse.

Inside the fortress.

Commodore Charles was leading the band of troops, seeing the firing line on the group of pirates who were overwhelmed by the two lines of soldiers with the line of Lost boys standing in the front.
When the pirates started to surrender dropping their swords, the lost boys withdrew their swords and shouted. "Bangerang!" in victory.
Seeing that the fortress was secured, Commodore Charles parted from the troops when he met with Maggie Pan and Tinker Bell who sprinkled pixie dust on him before he began to float.
Now flying in the air beside Maggie Pan, Commodore Charles and Maggie flew straight towards the Royal Amber Fox to fight the pirates.
But by the time they were getting close to the ship, they noticed that the defenders had fled from the decks leaving only eight pirates standing.
The two had arrived to bear witness to the death of Sergeant Mac Phillips.
Sergeant Phillips was just striking a few strikes upon Captain Sephiran when Sephiran struck the strike away with his own sword, Sephiran proceeded to slash him in the ribs before thrusting his sword straight into his chest killing him.
Upon seeing the death of the sergeant, Maggie gawked in pain as if seeing his death caused a blow in her chest. She landed down on the deck and approaching Sergeant Phillips' side, she caught him as he collapsed from Sephiran drawing his sword out from him.

Mac Phillips turned his head to look at her as he spoke.
"Oh Maggie Pan I'm glad to see you here at my side, you're the best Lost girl I've ever met in my years. I hope that you'll forgive me for my misjudgment." Maggie looked into the eyes of the soldier in her arms, she spoke her own words to the dying soldier.
"I do forgive you, Phillips, I almost wish I had an uncle…... like you."
Those words brought a small grin on the soldier Mac Phillips before he succumbed to his death in the end. After seeing him die, Maggie's feelings of sorrow turned into anger as she turned to face Captain Sephiran who held his sword tip up with a small wicked grin on his face.
Maggie was about to make the first move when there was a scream from the pirate who just jumped off the side of the ship. Maggie and Captain Sephiran turned their heads to see the Commodore Charles standing near the starboard side of the ship, looking straight at the Captain on the aftercastle.

The other pirates stood back in fear of the Commodore who scared the pirate off.
"Captain Sephiran, if you still want to kill me then come forth! I'm ready to fight you, for my family's Honor." Commodore stated to the Captain who turned himself to walk down the stairs and meet with the Commodore.
"You know you're right old Commodore, I've wanted to kill you myself. So let no other pirate attempt to kill the Commodore, he's mine but you may attempt to kill the lost girl instead," he stated to what was left of the pirates who then turned their attention to Maggie.
She drew her sword and spoke. "If you're willing boys, then you may come and fight me now."
The first pirate stepped up to the challenge, scaling the steps with his sword at hand, he swung on Maggie but she jumped over his swing, flying over him before she kicked his back, sending him stumbling forward. She then drove her sword in his chest as he turned to strike again.

Maggie then threw him overboard. Looking to the other pirates she raised her hands up as if welcoming them to come forth. "Anyone else wish to fight me?" she asked shouting to the pirates.
In an instant, a few of the pirates started dropping their swords to jump overboard fleeing from the girl whilst the remaining seven pirates went towards the steps to challenge her.
Whilst Maggie was dealing with each of the pirates at a time, Charles and Sephiran took their time to prepare.
They paused to sheath their swords to remove their own jackets and their belts for a proper duel.
Once they had removed their belongings and their hats leaving them without anything to damage, the two men reached to retrieve their swords. They took their fencing positions when Sephiran looked upon Charles' iron gauntlet and he spoke to him.
"You ready to remove that gauntlet of yours Charles?"

"I could never remove a gauntlet that will break your neck," Charles replied to Sephiran.

"Then be ready to lose it, for I will have that gauntlet as my own to wear." Sephiran retorted before he and Charles struck their blades together starting the duel.
As Charles sparred and struck away each of Sephiran's strikes and thrusts, the two men fought forward and back as they moved across the ship. Whilst they fought together, Maggie struck the first pirate and moved back from the second Pirate to gain ground before she struck him down with slash across his belly. But the last few started to go against Mr Laughlin, who was still alive having fallen back into the bottom decks. Having emerged from the doorway, Mr Laughlin shot one pirate before he started fighting the remaining two with his knife and an axe in his hands.

Soon after defeating the remaining pirates, Maggie turned to see the duel between Commodore Charles and Captain Sephiran. The commodore was fighting well against the Pirate himself.
When they paused holding their swords on each other and standing at a distance, Maggie flew down to the deck to join Charles at his side.
"Put away your sword Maggie," Charles stated to Maggie who was about to step back and sheath her sword when Maggie protested. "Who be you to order me about Commodore?"
Hearing that protest, Sephiran couldn't help but chuckle a bit.
Commodore Charles leaned his head to the side and spoke keeping his eyes on Sephiran. "Maggie Pan, this duel is a matter of honour between Captain Sephiran and me this time."

"No Commodore. Let the lost Girl join this duel against me, I can fight both of you at once. As she had refused to be my slave, I now choose to settle for taking her blood in my cup. So prepare to die Maggie" he said turning his sight to Maggie.

She paused holding her sword down as she replied. "As my father the great Peter Pan once said Captain Sephiran, to die would be an awfully big adventure."

"That will be the last adventure of your short life," Sephiran said to Maggie before he swung the first strike.
Maggie blocked and struck back on him, starting the duel. The Pirate fought against the girl who held her ground.
They soon moved across the deck for a minute before Commodore stepped in to duel against the Pirate Captain Sephiran.

The Commodore fought his enemy from the decks to the stairs up the aftercastle, they fought with side strikes, high and low as they moved further across. Maggie followed Commodore Charles during the duel itself to be ready to take his place at the first moment.
As Charles fought against Sephiran on the steps, Sephiran moved to the side avoiding his enemy's strikes and he landed a slash on Charles' arm before he grabbed his shoulder and pushed him backwards. Turning to the stairs, Sephiran went up the stairs to stop at the top steps. He turned to face Charles who approached to continue the duel.

Back at the harbour of the Fortress.

As the battle was coming to an end with most of the pirates surrendering whilst some fled from the fortress, Moira and Andrew were at the harbour after making their way there. They then saw Commodore Charles and Maggie fighting against Captain Sephiran which was going on so well enough.

But knowing that the Captain was well known for his dirty tricks from learning so much of him as a pirate, Moira looked around for a way to beat him at his own dirty game.
Andrew was about to go and fly towards the ship when Moira stopped him at the first step.
"Wait, Andrew. I have an idea," Moira said, her eyes looking upon a cannon which was loaded and positioned on the ship.
Andrew looked at the cannon before he looked up at Moira and drew a small grin at her.
Without any time to waste Moira and Andrew went straight towards the cannon so they can work on it aim at their intended target in case, Charles or Maggie come into danger.

Back on the ship, Charles was coming up the steps to the aftercastle as he was beating Sephiran in the duel; they soon crossed swords together with Charles and Sephiran holding their ground.
As Sephiran glared at Charles from his side between the crossed swords.
"You're doing so well Commodore. Your son Ronald wouldn't have run into my blade if you had made him any better." He spoke with venom in his words. Commodore Charles grew angered by that remark as he soon prepared for one last push.
"My son Ronald was a better man, more than you." Charles retorted before he shoved Sephiran off, sending him falling on his back, Charles then stepped up the last steps.
Approaching the Leviathan Pirate who crawled backwards on the floor, Charles pointed his sword on Sephiran who was lying on his end, his hands planted down holding him up in a seating position. As Charles paused pointing his tip on his enemy, he spoke.
"Now for all past sins against me and Neverland and all those you have done such harm upon in the past, you will pay for all."
Sephiran looked at Charles for a moment as he heard his words, Charles was about to deliver a fatal sword thrust into Sephiran's chest when the pirate swiped the blade with the back of his right hand.
Pulling out a pistol with his left hand, Sephiran aimed and fired it on Charles hitting his chest.

He yelled out in pain from getting shot and collapsed on the floor near the ships back-end barrier whilst Sephiran stood up.
"Commodore!" Maggie screamed aloud as she came up the steps.
"You first Commodore." Sephiran retorted before he dropped his pistol and went to pick up his sword. Once she stood on the aftercastle, Maggie approached Charles' body as it laid still and she raised her head up to look for Sephiran who was coming to where his sword landed, he picked up his sword.
"Bad form Sephiran," Maggie shouted at Sephiran who held his sword pointing the blade on her.
"I know so it's just you and me Lost girl," he replied.
"And now we end this." She spoke as she started approaching the captain, she engaged him in a fierce sword fight using all strikes high and low as they moved across the floors of the aftercastle.
When she was near the edge of the steps, Maggie jumped in the air as Sephiran swung his sword at her feet missing her. Flying down Maggie's feet landed on the deck and she stood in place as Sephiran came down the steps to come towards Maggie and continue to fight her further.
Whilst they fought together, the crew move along the starboard side to head up the steps to see the Commodore. Maggie fought off Sephiran's attacks and traded places as they fought until she landed a sword thrust into his leg.

Just when Maggie could thrust her sword into Sephiran's chest, Sephiran swiped the sword aside before he landed a sword slash on the side of Maggie's right leg, wounding her.

She knelt down from the sting of that slash whilst Sephiran was preparing to land a killing strike upon Maggie when all of a sudden Tinker Bell appeared at Maggie's side. "Maggie, duck!" she screamed to Maggie who went flat on the ground.
"Duck?" Sephiran asked frowning in confusion when he looked up from the girl and the fairy to see at a far distance from the ship, Moira and Andrew were aiming their cannon with the fuse burning.
Andrew stood with Moira as the two looked straight at Sephiran on the ship.
"Roast duck Edward," she remarked before she and Andrew stepped back in a second before the cannon went off firing a loaded cannonball straight off towards the ship. Realizing that Moira and Andrew had a cannon on him, Sephiran raised his sword up with one hand.
The second when Edward Sephiran was about to strike, he received the cannonball into the chest which sent him flying off his feet.
In the collision he dropped his sword and all as he flew straight crashing into the port-side barriers of the ship and then falling straight down, crashing into the distant oceans where he sunk down and died from both the impact of the cannonball knocking the breath out of him and drowning.

It was at that same time when Sephiran was killed by the cannonball, Commodore Charles was there to see his former enemy's death. Having survived the shot from Sephiran's pistol, he woke up to the surprise of his troops who thought he was dead.
Standing himself up from the floor he walked up to the front barrier.
When Maggie rose up from the deck floor she saw the damage to the barrier, she stood up to walk forward to the port-side. Looking upon where Sephiran landed, Maggie realized that the Leviathan Pirate himself was now dead and she drew a grin of relief.
Maggie turned to the left side when she found Commodore Charles coming down the steps.
"Charles!" she shouted aloud, overjoyed to see her friend alive she came up to him.
Charles laughed as she approached him, kneeling down he raised his hands up. He shared an embrace with the girl who cried in his shoulder and he rocked her about as the soldiers started to cheer in the victory that the battle was over.
When Maggie withdrew from Charles' shoulder, she was in tears as she laughed hysterically.
"Charles, I thought you were dead. I saw Sephiran shoot you in the chest."
Hearing Maggie's hysteric words, Charles calmed her down.
"Shh, its okay Maggie. It's over now and I'm still alive."

"But how did you survive being shot?" she asked frowning at Charles.
In answer to Maggie's question, Charles looked down. He opened his shirt, showing her his armour breastplate underneath his shirt.
"I slipped the armour on whilst you were not looking, I'm sorry for scaring you like that. But I had to fool Sephiran into thinking he killed me. So now we have won," he answered looking at her, he wiped the tears off her eyes with the thumb of his gauntlet.
Standing up, he looked around him and spoke to the crew.
"Alright troops lets get back to the harbour, we have to send our soldiers out to bring the ship back to the harbour." The remaining crewmembers cheered aloud as they soon moved about to get down to the boats that lay by the side.

Later on that day.

After the war was all over and the fortified town was liberated of all pirates, the soldiers and the Lost Boys celebrated their victorious triumph over the Pirates. Some of the soldiers yelled out Hurrah, whilst the Lost boys yelled out Bangerang! the celebration went on as Commodore Charles was returning to the harbour with Maggie at his side.

Only two men stayed to guard the ship and wait for reinforcements to bring the ship to the harbour for docking. Moira and Andrew were standing at the pier waiting for the boat to dock whilst Lieutenant Austen was standing in the backgrounds speaking with Starkey.
They were in talks about terms of Starkey's surrender to William Austen since he learned about how Starkey was in love with his sister Emmaline. Starkey now calling himself by his first name Theodore was able to convince William that his intentions were honourable and that he would work for a period of time for him so he can earn the right to marry Emmaline someday.

As soon as the boat was floating beside the docks, the crewmember tied the boat's end to the post before Charles climbed up onto the pier. He turned and brought Maggie upon the pier before the two went off to meet with Moira and Andrew, who came up to them.
As soon as they met in their own separate embrace, Moira lifted Maggie up in her arms she laughed in relief that her daughter was safe while Charles knelt down and brought Andrew into his embrace
"I'm proud of you son, you did well with the cannon," he said.

"Thank you father, but it was Moira's idea and I helped her aim the cannon," Andrew replied turning his head to Moira.
Withdrawing from his son, Charles stood up from his kneeling position to approach Moira.
Looking at Charles she placed Maggie down to face him.
Drawing a grin, the Commodore Charles raised his hand extending it for Moira to shake.
"Moira Banning please let me shake the hand of the woman who defeated my enemy. You and your daughter saved us all," he said to Moira who took his hand and they shook.
But Charles pulled her into his embrace, wrapping his arm around her as if embracing a heroine of the day whilst the troops were getting on board the boat, the other soldiers were getting on other boats to make for the ship so that they can bring it back to the harbour for repairs.

When the two adults withdrew from the embrace, Charles looked at Moira and he spoke.
"Well the war is now over and I am in your debt Moira and you Maggie, what can I do to repay work and courage that you've shown me?"

Moira looked down at his daughter Maggie who looked back at her.
Maggie was about to speak when Moira was the one to answer hesitantly.
"Commodore Charles, what my daughter and I would like is to get back to our home through the same way I came which is through the mirror."

"I'm not sure if you can Moira. The only way to open the mirror portal is the amulets that my son and I had but Sephiran took it off me when I got captured." Commodore Charles replied with his heart heavy as he gave the bad news.
Moira looked down as she felt disappointed, but then Maggie spoke.
"There's always flying, Tinker Bell could give us some fairy dust and we could think happy thoughts to fly away home to San Francisco." Looking at her daughter's face, Moira wasn't sure on the idea about flying all the way back to America as it seemed to be a long way.

Andrew was about to speak out when he heard Tinker Bell's voice. "Maggie Pan!"

Commodore Charles and Andrew turned around to where the voice came from, Maggie drew a smile whilst Moira's eyes widened with disbelief.
What she was was Tinker Bell who was fully grown as she stood on the pier.
"Maggie Pan," she spoke. Maggie ran up to Tinker Bell before she wrapped her arms around the fairy who knelt down to embrace her. "Tinker Bell, I want to thank you for the heads up. You helped my mom defeat Sephiran and the pirates," she said to the fairy as she withdrew from her.
Moira soon approached her daughter and the fairy who looked to her.
"Tinker Bell, you look so beautiful," Moira spoke to Tinker Bell who chuckled at the compliment.
"Thank you, Moira and you did well yourself as I hoped you would."

"Really, how?" Maggie asked.

"Your mother is a strong bright and resourceful person, just like your grandmother Jane." Tinker Bell stated to Maggie who drew a grin at the remark as she asked. "Did you know grandmother Jane well?"

Tinker Bell drew a small grin as she spoke. "Let's just say she regained her faith and her belief in fairies when Hook stole her away and brought her here. After becoming the first Lost girl, she brought me back to life and we saved Peter and the Lost Boys."
Pausing as Maggie was amazed that the story was true, Tinker Bell spoke on.
"It almost surprised me when you found another way into Neverland, so if you two wish to go home then you can just ask and I will take you both back."

On hearing that Tinker Bell can take them home, Moira approached her daughter's side and she spoke to the fairy. "Oh thank you Tinker Bell."

Tinker Bell looked up at Moira and she spoke. "You're quite welcome Moira, please take care of Maggie because she's quite special to me. I've come to see her as the daughter I wish I had."

"And she's special to me too Tink, I know that you love my husband, but I can say that he will always love us both as Maggie does too," Moira said looking at Tink whose eyes were become watery as she was touched by her words.
"Thank you, Moira Banning, you're such a sweet mother." Tinker bell replied before the fairy's magical dust engulfed her shrinking her back to her small self again in front of Moira and Maggie and the others.

The next day at Fort: Fairfax.

It was on the following day, after speaking with Tinker Bell, the ship was brought back into the Harbour, the British Navy soldiers held a celebration.
With the Lost Boys who enjoyed a feast that was real for them, the soldiers celebrated the victory.
As the night wore on, they played musical instruments and danced the night away.
It was as they celebrated together, Thud Butt stepped up and he announced that the Lost Boys will stay in the alliance of Peace between them and the grown-ups of the British Royal Navy which was met with cheers and praise.
A few riders were sent off to the outposts to spread the word of the alliance's victory and that its safe for the townspeople to safely return to their homes at Fort; Fairfax. Having found the mirror in the same place where Lieutenant Austen found Moira, a few volunteers from the British Navy soldier army brought the whole mirror out of the house. Taking it across to the ship they placed it on the deck.
It was on that day, as most of the Lost Boys had returned to their home, only Thud Butt, Ace and Rocky don't ask, Tiny Tim is also known as Too Small, Pockets and Latchboy stayed to give Maggie and Moira Banning a small farewell before they would depart.

Standing outside the gate of Fort: Fairfax, the six Lost Boys and Commodore Charles and his son Andrew were sharing a moment with Moira and Maggie Banning who was ready to leave.
Maggie approached the Lost boys first when one of them spoke first.
"Please don't leave us Maggie and don't say goodbye." Tiny Tim said to Maggie who was sad to go but she replied. "Aww I wish I could stay but my father and brother are waiting for us."

"So you're just going away and forget about us." Pockets said to Maggie who looked at them as she replied to Pocket's remark.
"Of course not Pockets, I promise you lost boys that I will never forget about you and the good times we all had. Never."
Drawing her sword, she handed it back to Thud Butt.
"Thank you Thud for letting me use this sword, as my father left you in charge I now hand it back to you," Maggie said to Thud.
When Moira approached after saying goodbye to Commodore Charles and his son Andrew.

"Thud Butt, look after yourself and the other Lost Boys," Moira said to him.

"I will Moira." Thud Butt replied.

"Maggie who will I look after?" asked Latchboy.

"You all look after Thud Butt and each other. Thank you for the good days," she said before she then turned to Andrew and Charles, Maggie approached whilst Moira said her farewells to the boys.

"I'm glad that I came back here, I wouldn't have met you both," said Maggie.

"I almost wish you could have stayed here, but as you said you have family waiting for you at home," Andrew said to Maggie who nodded before she spoke.
"I wish you could come back to my home with us."

"I'm not sure if I could," Andrew replied to Maggie who frowned at his answer.

"Why not?" she asked.

"Well I am three hundred years older than you but I would if my father can come with me," Andrew answered. Maggie nodded at the condition.
She turned away from him and walked at a few steps until she stopped.
Turning back to face Andrew, Maggie walked back up and she grabbed him by the head with one hand. Pulling him to her Maggie pressed her lips against Andrew's, the two shared a goodbye kiss and parted to share one last embrace.

When the fairy Tinker Bell appeared at their side she approached Charles as Moira parted to go to a distance and wait for the fairy to come to them and sprinkle them with fairy dust.

Charles was the one to speak to the fairy. "Tinker Bell I know that they have to fly out but if I had the amulet that brought Moira here into Neverland, I could use it to come to their world."

"Well speaking of the amulets Charles, your enemy Sephiran dropped them as he went flying into the sea." Tinker bell said to Charles, showing him the amulets that were in her hand. "I believe you know how to use them," she said as she handed the amulets over to Charles who then placed them in his pocket.

"Thank you Tinker Bell. And a safe journey." Charles replied.

The Fairy Tinker Bell nodded before she went and sprinkled her pixie dust on Maggie and Moira as they were holding hands side by side. Afterwards, they started floating in the air. Much to the happiness of the Lost Boys who watched them go.
Only Tiny Tim went to Commodore Charles and Andre.
"Commodore sir, yesterday was the day of a great game," he said to Charles who chuckled.
"I'm glad that all went well for you Too Small and the other lost boys," he said.
"The name is Tiny Tim sir." the lost boy replied. Charles, nodded his mistake as he stood.
Andrew kept his eyes upon the sky as Maggie and Moira flew in the air and out of sight.

March 17th 1995 in San Francisco.
The Banning house.

It had been almost a whole weekend since the Friday after Maggie had flown off to Neverland to save Moira, Peter and his son Jack spent the whole weekend having the household to themselves.
What was only a long week in Neverland was only a weekend back in San Francisco.

Peter was able to spend some of his free time with his son.
Whilst playing catch together in the back yard, Peter and Jack spoke about girls and stuff.
But when they were not playing, the two men made an attempt at cooking meals for themselves which went disastrously at first. The disaster itself made the two laugh, but Peter and Jack managed to try again only they worked together as a team to make their own meals.
After dinner, the two each spent their hours cleaning the dishes.
Apart from having the whole weekend with his Dad now known to him as Peter pan, Jack kept the secret as a gift as he was now growing into his own person, having entered his teenage years.

Jack started spending some of his days, hanging out with his friends at school as well as outside whilst Peter had his time working but managing his time to cover for Maggie.
But as time went, Jack started to miss Maggie and his mother Moira.
Peter especially missed the two as well and he once thought about how the lost boys were going without him.
On the Monday of Maggie's absence, Peter called her school telling them a false story that she was sick and had to miss school for the next couple of days.

It wasn't until the Tuesday afternoon when Moira and Maggie had finally returned to their home thanks to their guiding fairy Tinker Bell who said her goodbyes to them.
Now standing in their own front yard they walked up to see the car was in indicating that Peter and Jack are back home.
Looking at each other, the two ladies went up to the door and rang the doorbell.
It was only a minute before the door opened up and Jack was there.
When he saw Moira and Maggie outside, Jack became so glad that he shouted. "Mom! Maggie, you're back."

"Of course we're back Jack. We didn't want you to think we left you, dummy." Maggie said to Jack.
Moira stepped up to Jack, pulling him into her arms she embraced him.

"Dad, Mom is back!" Jack shouted to Peter.
Stepping away from his mother, Jack went to hug Maggie who hugged him back.
"It's so great to see you too Maggie," he said to Maggie who smiled at him.
"I'm glad to see you, Jackie," she replied before Peter appeared to see the girls' return.
"Maggie, Moira!" Peter screamed excited to see his favourite two girls. He picked up Maggie and hugged her as the two laughed before Moira approached him.
The two shared a kiss together as Moira and Peter were so happy to see each other.
"Peter, you have no idea how long it has been," Moira stated.

"Moira, its been almost three to four days since we saw Maggie fly off in the air," Peter replied to Moira who realized that time was different from when she and Maggie were in Neverland. "But what matters is that you girls are back home safe," said Peter.

"Yeah, it's great to be home, and we have loads of stories to tell," Maggie said to her dad who looked at her standing in her outfit.
"Wow you look so good in your outfit Maggie, have you been hanging with the Lost boys?" he asked but Moira spoke. "Perhaps we should discuss this over dinner, I was thinking Chinese or a pizza?"

"Well you know I think a Pizza sounds like a great idea," said Maggie. Jack nodded as well.
"Pizza it shall be. Come on in let's get inside and talk" Peter agreed with Moira before they all went back inside the house.

Having called in for a Pizza, they all sat together in the lounge where Moira and Maggie told them their stories to Jack and Peter whilst they waited on their delivery. As they learned about the story of Commodore Charles Corven of the British Royal Navy, Peter became intrigued by the history of the man whose crew built a fortified town and how there was an outpost that was in friendship with the Indians.
Even Jack himself became a little intrigued that there were soldiers in Neverland.
The fascinating part of the story that Jack found amusing was when Maggie met with the Lost Boys who were still the same lost boys Peter met when he returned to Neverland. Maggie told her dad that she gave names to a few of the lost Boys like giving Don't Ask the lost boy the name Rocky and naming Too Small, Tiny Tim after the boy from the Christmas Carol. Peter was mostly glad that Maggie gave them creative names as a way to tell them apart.
When Peter and Jack learned from Moira about the time when she got herself drunk and behaved like a pirate, they laughed along with Maggie that she sang to the group of pirates which reminded Maggie of when she sang her mother's song 'When you're alone' during her time in Pirate's town. Maggie then described how ridiculous her Mother looked when she was in her pirate suit as well as getting covered in paint.

Seeking to get some payback, Moira told Peter and Jack about the Burping contest she shared with the Lost Boys and then burping the alphabet which made her and Peter laugh, embarrassing Maggie on the spot. Maggie lowered her face as she was blushing whilst Peter and Moira laughed.

But only Jack didn't laugh. Instead, he clapped his hands in applause.
Looking at his sister Maggie, Jack became proud of her for her burping the whole alphabet

When Pizza delivery boy had arrived, Peter answered the door and paid for the pizza whilst Moira and Jack went to get some drinks.
During their dinner, they talked about the training that Maggie took up whilst Moira infiltrated the pirates before she fled the camp. Moira spoke to Peter about meeting Tinker Bell the fairy, who was so beautiful and she told Peter that she understood how much the fairy loved him as he once loved her. Peter assured Moira that he will always love both her and Tiner Bell.
Furthermore, he said to her that although she's a fairy, Tinker bell will always have a place in his heart as long as they shall live.

Moving along with another subject, Maggie mentioned the death of Tootles who went down as a hero which brought some sadness to the whole family but she then spoke further on the time when she met with the spirit of Rufio who gave her encouragement.
Hearing this Peter felt touched that the former Lost boy Leader had given her such words of wisdom.
With all being said inside the dining room, Moira was the one to stand and propose a toast for Tootles.
Raising her glass as did Peter, Jack and Maggie, Moira spoke.
"To our Beloved uncle Tootles the elder Lost boy who gave his life to help me and my daughter as well as to save Neverland, May he be remembered."
"For Tootles," Peter said as did Jack and Maggie before they each took a drink from each of their glasses.

Later that evening.

After they spent the evening eating pizza, Maggie went up to her room where the whole place was just as she left it when she flew off to Neverland with Tinker Bell.
Entering her room, Maggie stood on the spot looking around her for a minute remembering everything before she walked across to the window.
Standing by the window, she looked up at the skies as she reminisced on the adventures she had but most of all she thought of Andrew Corven the boy that she fell in love with.
She knew that she wouldn't be able to see him again but as she looked up at the sky Maggie knew that Andrew would be looking down on her from afar and she'll always be looking up at the second star to the right.

Breathing a sigh Maggie turned away from the window.
She walked off from the window ledge when she stopped at the mirror.
Looking at her reflection Maggie had a wish that she had Andrew's amulet so she can use its magic to open the portal and enter Neverland through the glass portal. As Maggie pondered at the mirror, her heart started beating about as she couldn't stop thinking about Andrew.
She started to feel heartbroken that she had to leave Neverland, which made her feel sad with the despair from parting ways. Needing to keep herself busy, Maggie went back to check out the homework she left behind. The next hour was spent catching up on her homework and her reading until it was time to go to bed.

That's the end of Chapter Ten. And I will be working on the eleventh and final chapter which will have a small happy ending for Maggie Banning. In the meantime enjoy reading Chapter ten and be sure to share this fan tribute story with others. Thank you.
