Flynn told Sinbad everything. They had nothing left to lose. Besides, he and Jasmine figured after what Meg did to John, Sinbad was no longer working for her.
Still, Jasmine was afraid of Sinbad. The image of him holding a knife to Flynn's throat while covered in blood (John's blood, she presumed) chilled her. He was unhinged and she thought maybe he'd kill everyone on this ship to protect John- or avenge him. He was even worse than Meg. Meg was on a rampage, too, but at least she was predictable; Sinbad was capable of anything and absolutely nothing was off limits.
"Flynn, go down to the brig and guard John," Sinbad instructed. "Jasmine and I will find Meg and-"
"Oh, there's no need for that," Meg taunted, appearing in the doorway.
Several members of the crew rushed into the kitchen, seizing Jasmine, Flynn, and Sinbad and clamping shackles on each of their wrists. They were then dragged up to the deck, where the rest of the crew had assembled. Aladdin and Jim were on their knees in the center of the deck. They weren't shackled or bound and they seemed to be unharmed; still, they were surrounded and didn't fight.
"Where's John?" Jim demanded.
Meg walked over to him. "John is in a cell, where he belongs."
"What's going on?" Mulan asked.
"John and these five here are traitors. They're working with Gaston."
There was a chorus of murmurs across the deck.
"Why would John be working with Gaston?" Sinbad questioned. "Gaston killed his best friend."
Meg shot him a look. "I don't know. He refused to tell me anything. But, I caught him and Jim conspiring with Aladdin, who is Gaston's former first mate."
All eyes shot to Aladdin. When he didn't deny it, the crew grew angry.
"Did you know Gaston was planning to kill Hercules?" Mulan demanded of Aladdin, tightening her grip on Jasmine's arm. Her nails cut into her, breaking the skin. Jasmine fought to keep from crying out in pain.
Aladdin glared at her. "I don't think Gaston had anything to do with Hercules' murder."
"You weren't there!" Meg barked at him. "You don't know anything!"
"I was there," Sinbad spoke up. "I don't know about Aladdin's involvement with Gaston or if either of them actually had anything to do with what happened; but, I do know John didn't and he is not a traitor to this crew." He pinned his gaze on Meg. "Or Hercules. He and I tried to stop Kale. Regrettably, we were too late. But, John has been nothing but loyal to this crew and he didn't deserve-"
"That's enough!" Meg snapped. "Whether or not anyone here had anything to do with Hercules' death, doesn't change the fact that Aladdin, John, Jasmine, and Jim were caught conspiring to abandon the crew to go to Corona and aid Gaston."
"That's not true!" Jim interjected.
"Isn't it?" Meg challenged. "Were you or were you not planning to go to Corona instead of to Syracuse with the crew?"
Jim opened his mouth to protest, but hesitated. Finally he said, "Yes. But, not to join Gaston! John wanted to find a way to prevent a battle. He doesn't want anyone else getting hurt."
"Too late for that," Sinbad snarled. "Tell them what you did, Meg!"
Meg narrowed her eyes at him. "I didn't do anything that wasn't warranted."
"The hell it was!" Even though Shang had a knife to Sinbad's throat, he still fought against him, resulting in him receiving a huge gash on his neck. "You shot John! You tried to kill him!"
Rage filled Jim's face. He attacked Meg, knocking her on her back. He managed to land on a punch on her jaw before he was restrained.
"Lock them all up and bring John to my office!" Meg ordered.

After a thorough search of Sinbad to find the key, the five of them were locked up in separate cells and John was dragged away, still unconscious.
Flynn was in the cell next to Sinbad, with Aladdin in the cell on the other side of Flynn. Jim was in the cell across from Sinbad. He sat stoically in the corner. Jasmine was in the cell next to his. She had slid her hand through the bars and was trying to comfort Jim by holding his hand. Sinbad doubted it was doing any good, though.
"Don't worry, kid; John's going to be fine," Sinbad told him.
"How can you say that? Meg already tried killing him once; how do you know she won't try again?"
"Meg's entire plan relies on the help of Syracuse. But, without me, she won't receive it. She knows right now I'm not inclined to help her, so she needs leverage over me and the only weapon she's got in her arsenal is John." He glanced over at Flynn. "The only weapon she knows about, anyway."
Sinbad and Flynn had never intended to keep the fact that they're brothers a secret from the rest of the crew, it just sort of happened. They joined the crew together, but they were among a handful of other people who were recruited at the same time, so no one noticed they were together and it never really came up. Though, when Sinbad left the crew and Flynn opted to stay, Sinbad guessed Flynn probably deliberately kept it a secret after that. Not that he blamed him.
It was working out in their favor now, though. With John being the only one on the ship who knows, Sinbad didn't have to worry about Meg- or anyone else- trying to use Flynn against him; he could focus solely on John.
"I won't let anything happen to John," Sinbad promised.
Truth be told, he wouldn't let anything happen to any of them. Like it or not, they were all on the same side; somehow cast out and caught between two warring sides, they were all each other had now.
Not for the first time, Sinbad found himself regretting not staying in Tortuga. He had only stayed with the crew to be close to Phoebus. When Phoebus told him he was leaving the crew, Sinbad considered leaving, too. But, John had been following Meg into war and, honestly, Sinbad didn't think Jim would be able to protect John. John, of course, was strong enough and perfectly skilled to take care of himself in a fight; Sinbad had seen firsthand what John was capable of. Nevertheless, Sinbad had to make sure John survived this.
But, when all of this was over, he was going back to Tortuga to find Phoebus. He knew it was unlikely Phoebus would still be on the island, but maybe someone there knew where he went. He'd search every God- forsaken city in the world, if he had to. Sinbad was going to find Phoebus, and this time he wouldn't let him go without a fight.
