"T-There's nothing you can do about Aono-chan, Headmistress?" gasped Mr. Nekonome in the headmistress' office.
"I'm afraid not," said Headmistress Tennyo Mikogami.
"B-But Aono-chan will be—"
"If she is to be executed, then THAT will be her fate."
Chained up to the cross, Tsuki looked out at the jeering students.
"HUMANS ARE DISGUSTING!"
"THEY DESERVE TO DIE!"
"JUST KILL HER ALREADY, GODDAMMIT!"
"Why did this have to happen to me?" the accused human girl thought with dread. "This is all my fault! I should've left this place when had the chance...just so I could attend a normal school again. But then again, if I HADN'T come here, I never would've met Mako-san...and everyone else."
"Does the accused have any final words she wish to speak?" asked Kuyā.
"P-Please!" whispered Tsuki. "Please have mercy with Mako! He did NOTHING wrong! Don't give him the same fate as I!"
"Pretty admirable words coming from a human that's about to die. But don't worry, I AM a merciful woman and WILL be merciful to your boyfriend; however, he HAS hid your human secret from this school, so he MUST die no matter what...but at least it won't be as agonizing as YOURS! UWA HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH HAH!"
"No...please don't kill him! PLEASE DON'T!"
Sitting on a bench, Kumaru held his head under his arm as he bent over, while Yukinari watched over him.
"Hey, Kumaru-san," said Yukinari. "You wanna know how I feel~desu?"
Kumaru slowly tilted his head up at the wizard boy.
"I...I know he's a human," Yukinari continued, "but that DOESN'T make her a bad person, does it? I mean, when I was about to eaten by monsters, I was saved...by a human that's we've always feared."
"...I...I know," Kumaru finally said.
"Then why would—"
"BUT THAT'S NOT WHY I'M ANGRY! Mako-kun and Tsuki-chan were the first friends I've ever had and...*SOB*...and they never told me! *SNIFF* *SOB* THEY WERE MY FRIENDS! I WOULD'VE PROTECTED ALL THEM ALL THE GODDAMN SAME IF THEY HAD JUST TOLD ME!"
Yukinari widened his eyes as he watched tears fall down Kumaru's eyes.
"WHY?!" Kumaru screamed. "WHY THE HELL WOULDN'T YOU TELL ME?! YOU'RE BOTH A BUNCH OF GODDAMN IDIOTS!"
"Then why don't we tell him directly~desu?" suggested Yukinari.
In his cell, Mako had continued to use all his strength to yank his Rosario Cross in the hopes of saving, but all efforts were pointless and he eventually gave up, falling to his hands and knees. "*SOB* Why? Why won't you help us? Y-You've always helped us when Tsuki was in danger! So WHY won't you help us NOW?! When she needs you the most?"
*GLOW*
"Is THAT it? You're just giving up on her? You really ARE a pussy?" whispered the voice from Mako's Rosario Cross.
"I...I WANT to save her...but I CAN'T! I can't do it alone?"
"...But you're NOT alone?"
*CREEK*
Just then, the bars to his cell began bending open to reveal a way out.
"*GSAP*" Confused, the pink-haired vampire boy slowly and walked out of his cell into.
"MAKO-SAN!" Yukinari suddenly rushed out from around and corner, to embrace Mako.
"Yukinari-kun!" Mako exclaimed. "You saved me!"
"No, not just ME~desu," said the wizard
From around the same corner, Kumaru also come out—still looking a but angry.
"Kumaru-kun!" Mako also exclaimed. "You t—"
*BAM*
Kumaru punched Mako to the ground again.
Slowly getting up, Mako looked up at the incubus in confusion.
"Don't just sit there, Mako-kun," said Kumaru angrily. "We've gotta save Tsuki-chan, right?"
"It's pointless, you fools!" said a familiar voice all to familiar to the boys.
Turning to the shadow, they noticed a young man walking out into the light.
"I-Ishigami-sensei?!" Mako gasped. "W-What are YOU doing here?"
"Oh, not much. I'm just here to tell you that YOU brought Tsuki-chan's death on yourself, Mako-san!"
"...Are...Are you saying that YOU sold out Tsuki-chanto the Public Safety Commision? WHY?!" Kumaru yelled.
"Well...I've got bills to pay...and not that Mako-san and Tsuki-chan got me kicked out of Yōkai Academy!"
"That's not true! YOU kidnapped students and turned them into statues for your art museum!" yelled Mako. "You got yourSELF fired for doing this shit!"
"It doesn't matter anymore! I managed to give the Public Safety Commission all the information they needed," Mr. Ishigami said as he pulled out an envelope full of money, "and they were generous enough to help compensate me for another thousand years! See ya!" And so, Mr. Ishigami began to walk off.
"Why you son-of-a..." Enraged, Kumaru began stomping after—
"Kumaru! NO!" Mako yelled as he grabbed the incubus boy's arm. "We don't have time to chase him. We've gotta save Tsuki!"
"Students of Yōkai Academy...bare witness as Aono Tsuki, the alleged human, burns in the depths of Hell for all eternity!" said Kuyā.
"YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH!" cheered the other students.
*FLAP*
And so, a flame within Kuyā's palm suddenly burst into wildfire as she placed it on the cross, setting it aflame.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Tsuki began crying in agony as—
*WHOOSH*
Suddenly, the flames were blown away from the cross; miraculously, no burnt marks were found on Tsuki. Just then, Mako, Kumaru, and Yukinari began running through the crowd to save Tsuki.
"Kumaru-kun! Get Tsuki out of there and bring her to a safe place!" yelled Mako.
*FLAP*
Sprouting his wings and tail, Kumaru leapt into the air and freed Tsuki from her shackles.
"So you've come to save her after all," said Kuyā. "I promised Tsuki I give you mercifully quick and painless death, but now I've changed my mind since you've chosen to betray the school. AGAIN!"
"It doesn't matter if we're betraying this school or not!" yelled Mako.
"All that matters is that Tsuki-chan is safe!" yelled Kumaru.
"And that YOU'RE corruption ends~desu!" yelled Yukinari.
"So...you choose to suffer the same fate as last year's Newspaper Club?" asked the Public Safety Commission leader.
"WHAT?! What are you mean 'last year's Newspaper Club'?"
"Oh, it's quite simple: the Newspaper Club attempted to exploit our brutality, so we had no choice but to kill them; we DID choose to keep Morioka Gina alive as an act of mercy to prove we weren't bad—and as a warning to make sure that neither SHE, nor any other future members of her pathetic group, dared to cross us again."
"Gina-senpai!" gasped Mako.
"So THAT'S why she wouldn't help us!" shouted Yukinari in realization.
"But NOW I realize that it was the most fatal mistake I have ever made," said Kuyā. "Therefore, I sentence you ALL to death! KILL THEM!"
"YES, PREZ!" And so, the three members of the Public Safety Commission transformed into their monster forms; Mikazuki transformed into a bipedal Cerberus, Daisuke transformed into a Jiang-Shi, and Sato transformed into a golem.
"Leave 'em to me~desu!" shouted Yukinari with his magic wand in hand.
*BANG* *BANG* *BANG*
Three golden washtubs fell onto each the Pubilc Safety Commission thugs' heads, knocking them out in an instant.
"ARGH! INCOMPENTENT FAGGOTS! Once I'm finished with that human, YOU'RE all next!" Kuyā leapt after Tsuki to kill her.
"Mako-san! Go after Tsuki~desu! I'll take care of the Pubic Safety Commission~desu!" said Yukinari.
"RIGHT!" And so, Mako rushed to the rooftops.
Kumaru gently released Tsuki on the rooftops and knelt by the human girl's side. "Don't worry, Tsuki-chan. You'll be safe up here."
"*SIGH* Thank you, Kumaru-kun!" said the great Tsuki.
All of a sudden, Mako burst through the ceiling door. "TSUKI!"
"MAKO-SAN!" Tsuki cried as she—
*GROPE*
"Hey, forget about him! He didn't do shit to save you while I carried you to safety!" Kumaru suddenly shouted as she wrapped her arms around Tsuki and groped her breasts.
"Kumaru-kun, now's not a time to be harassing Tsuki!" Mako yelled as he pushed the perverted incubus boy a—
*PIERCE*
"GAH!" Suddenly, Tsuki felt a flaming sphere pierce her heart as she collapsed onto the ground before bursting into flames. "AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
"NO!" Mako cried as he held his hands over his mouth.
"TSUKI-CHAN!" Kumaru screamed.
"Hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm hmm! It's unfortunate that you wouldn't let the entire school watch the execution," laughed Kuyā in triumph. "But at least NOW she's dead! And now they'll NEVER taint the monster world with their presence again."
"TSUKI!" Desperate and teary-eyed, Mako quickly knelt down next to his human lover, now wearing only a bra and skirt as the rest of her clothing was incinerated, and grabbed her body. "TSUKI! NO! WAKE UP! DON'T DIE ON ME! PLEASE!"
Weak and burnt, Tsuki slowly opened her eyes and looked up the pink-haired vampire boy that was consoling her. "M-Mako-san," she weakly said as she reached up to touch Mako's face, "I...I-I regret nothing...coming t-to this school...meeting you...a-and everyone else..."
"TSUKI! NO!"
"P-Pro-Promise me...that you'll protect t-the Newspaper C-Club...from K-Kuyā...goodbye..." And with that, Tsuki's heart stopped beating, she closed her eyes, and her hand dropped to the ground and...
*CHING*
...knocked Mako's Rosario Cross off his choker.
"T-Tsu...ki?" Opening his eyes, Mako looked down at Tsuki's body. "...Tsuki...!" He gently shook her body...but no response. "T-Tsu...TSUKI!"
Just then, the blue sky turned blood red as thousands of bats encircled the pink-glowing vampire; as the bats dispersed, Mako's true form was released.
"Ah...so, it IS true: Shinso Vampires DO exist...how fascinating," the corrupt Public Safety Commission leader whispered. "I will surely enjoy this..."
"*INHALE* *EXHALE* *INHALE* *EXHALE*" All that could heard now was Mako's breathing through his nose. "*INHALE* *EXHALE* *INHALE* *EXHALE*" Gently taying the human girl's body on the ground, Mako slowly got up and turned around to face Kuyā, his blood red-colored serpent glaring into Kuyā's. "You...You have taken away what is most precious to me," the Shinso Vampire snarled. "And because of this, I promise you...that I, Akashiya Mako, prince of the Shuzen Clan, and third son of Count Isaki, shall make you pay..."
All Kuyā did was smile as she silently laughed.
"You will pay...WITH YOU GODDAMN LIFE!" Charging at her, Mako kicked Kuyā in the back, sending her flying across the roof and into a roof wall.
"Sorry I'm late~desu," Yukinari said as he reached the rooftop. "What hap-*GASP* NO!" he cried as he saw Tsuki's body.
"I'm sorry," Kumaru whispered as he knelt next to Tsuki's body. "I couldn't save her."
"Stand aside. There may still a way to bring her back," Mako said as he picked up Tsuki's body.
"There IS...how?"
"...By injecting my blood into hers...and turning her into a vampire; vampire blood possesses incredible power that can grant immortality..."
"Will that rely save her?"
"I...I don't know. I've never done it before, and there aren't any other alternatives in this situation."
*BOOM*
All of a sudden, Kuyā burst out of the wall, this time as a flaming fox with four tails. "AH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!"
"W-What the hell is THAT?" asked Kumaru.
"...It's a Youko," answered Mako.
"A Youko? What's that?" asked Yukinari.
Bite Sized Monster Dictionary:
Youko
The generic term for the Inari, Kudagitsune, and Osaki classes of spirit foxes. Represented by the nine tailed fox, many have very strong supernatural energy. Also, when they beat their tails together, they can create something known as "kitsunebi" and completely burn any human who does them harm.
*ROAR*
"As expected from a Shinso Vampire," said Kuyā. "Now I get to use my full energy! VORTEX OF FIRE!" Spinning her tails, a swiring array of five fireballs were thrown onto the Newspaper Club members.
"LOOK OUT!"
*BOOM*
After a huge explosion, the smoke cleared away and boys saw...
"Gina-senpai!" exclaimed Kumaru.
Gina had blocked Kuyā's attack with his body, taking the hit.
"Sorry I'm late, y'all," said Gina weakly. "I just couldn't bear losing anymore club members at first..."
*THUD*
Gina collapsed.
"GINA-SENPAI!" cried Yukinari.
"She...She shielded us with her body," whispered Yukinari.
"So I guess you learned you lesson after all, Morioka Gina," said Kuyā. "No matter...at least she won't be around to defend YOU!"
"You bitch!" snarled Mako.
"Go ahead and save Tsuki-san!" Yukinari said as he and Kumaru blocked Kuyā's way.
"We'll take care of her," said Kumaru.
"What?! You might die!" gasped the Shinso Vampire.
"We don't care."
"...Very well. Please forgive me, Tsuki."
"Alright, Kumaru-san, let's combine our powers," said Yukinari.
"Yeah, for the sake of protecting Tsuki, our friend," said Kumaru.
"Tsuki," whispered Mako, "accept my blood...become a vampire...and live forever..."
*BITE*
And so, Mako bore his fangs into Tsuki's neck, injecting his blood into her bloodstream. This caused a bright pink to glow around the two. Mako opened his eyes...and saw that Tsuki was still motionless. "Dammit, Tsuki! Wake up! Should I inject more blood?"
"'Your friend'? FOOLS! Humans and monsters can NEVER live together!" roared Kuyā.
"YOU'RE WRONG!" Kumaru charged at Kuyā in the air, unleashing his incubus wings and tails. "Humans and monsters can TOO live together!"
"NONSENSE!" Kuyā unleashed her fireballs from her mouth, unleashing them at the incubus.
"Now's my chance!" Yukinari held his magic wand into the air, unleashing a knife flying straight at Kuyā. "EAT KNIVES!"
*PIERCE*
"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The knife pierced Kuyā's right eye. And so, flames consumed her as she apparently turned back into her human form.
"Alright, it's working!" Yukinari cheered.
"That hit must've given her a lot of damage," said Kumaru.
But they were BOTH wrong...for the flames soon turned blue as Kuyā emerged from within the flames; she was now in her true form.
"I applaud you, gentlemen, for baring witness to my FINAL form," said Kuyā. "Too bad you'll NEVER defeat me!"
"No, THEY won't...but I will!" Mako said as he gently set Tsuki's lifeless body on the ground.
"Aw, did you're efforts to save your girlfriend fail?" taunted the female Youko. "Alright then, show me...show me your true power as a Shinso Vampire, Akashiya Mako! I'll need every ounce of strength you have...to prove that I can easily defeat you...and strengthen my power over his school."
"SHUT UP AND DIE!"
*BAM*
Incensed, Mako charged at Kuyā and gave her a kick to the face...but nothing happened.
"*YAWN* Is that it?"
*BAM*
Mako kicked her face with her other foot, the no further damage was given.
"W-What happened to Tsuki?" Kumaru asked as he turned to the human girl's lifeless body. "WHAT HAPPENED?!"
*BAM* *BAM* *BAM*
"I've given her every ounce of blood that I could!" Mako said as he continued kicking the Youko to no avail.
"Y-You mean..." whispered Kumaru. "Y...YOU'RE LYING!"
"No...No...NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Yukinari began breaking down and crying.
*BAM* *BAM* *BAM* *BAM* *BAM* *BAM* *BAM* *BAM* *BAM*
"Come on, is THIS the best you can do?" asked Kuyā. "This is pathetic! You can't even TICKLE me!"
Mako began making a panicked face. "What's going on? Did I...Did I give her too much blood?"

"YOU'RE WEAK!" laughed Kuyā. "You're so-called human-monster friendship with that human has made you weak!"

Kuyā finally retaliated by punching the Shinso Vampire in the face will full force. "Human's are disgusting!"

She fisted him in the gut. "Lazy!"
*BAM* *BAM*
"Traitorous!"

Kuyā threw an uppercut to Mako's jaw. "They care about nothing more than the destruction of all monsters!"

Kuyā soon gave a barrage of punches to Mako's body. "And YOU...who would protect her...should just DIE!"

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Mako was sent flying after the final punch, knocking him right next to Tsuki's lifeless body.
"And no," said the Public Safety Commission leader, "it's time for you to DIE! VORTEX OF FIRE!" And so, a blue flame was unleashed from her tail onto Mako and Tsuki.
*BOOM*
A giant explosion consumed where Mako and Tsuki laid.
"It has ended!" Kuyā gloated.
"No...Mako-san...Tsuki-san..." Yukinari whispered. "They...They can't be dead..."
"...They're NOT!" gasped Kumaru. "LOOK!" He pointed to the top of a roof...and there Tsuki, holding Mako in his arms.
Tsuki stood there with lifeless eyes, but they quickly changed back to normal as she looked around and saw Mako in her arms. "M-Mako-san?!"
"Heh heh heh heh...about time you woke up, ya sleepy bitch!"
*FLICK*
Mako flicked Tsuki's nose.
"H-How?! How did they invade my attack! NOBODY COULD'VE SURVIVED!"
And so, Tsuki set Mako onto his feet.
"Don't worry, Tsuki. I was just holding back so you could wake up sooner," Mako said. "This time, I WILL be this bitch!"
"Is THAT what you think?!" Kuyā yelled as she charged at the Shinso Vampire. "I PROTECT THIS SCHOOL! AND YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO DISRUPT THE PEACE!"
"BUT I WILL BE!" Suddenly, Gina, now a werewolf, grabbed Kuyā from behind and held her in a headlock.
"WHAT?! YOU!" gasped Kuyā.
"What? You didn't see the full moon? Don't underestimate the speed of werewolves!"
"For years, you have clanged onto your unsightly masquerade and rampaged across our school with your Public Safety Commission thugs, all in the name of peace..." Mako said as he pointed at the corrupt Public Safety Commission leader. "You have NO right to talk about protecting peace...when you're NEVER done that!"
And so, Mako leapt into the air...
"KNOW!"
...held out his foot...
"YOUR!"
...and dropped down onto Kuyā.
"PLACE! BITCH!"
*BAM*
Mako kick to Kuyā's face sent her and Gina down through the rooftop and into the school grounds. As the smoke cleared, Kuyā was seen lying on top of a now-human Gina, grunting, "Y-Yes, Mako," before losing consciousness.

This chapter's climactic battle, not counting the "Bite Sized Monster Dictionary" part, took 1,547 words across 106 paragraphs! WHEE!
"NICE SHOT!" Tsuki shouted as she snapped her fingers and jumped down from the roofs to join the victorious Shinso Vampire.
And so, Mako picked up his Rosario Cross in satisfaction and clipped it back on to his choker, slowly reverting back to his innocent, pink-haired, outer self as the sky returned to normal.
Just then, the entirety of the students arrived to witness what happened.
"What just happened?"
"Kuyā-sama?! Defeated?! By WHO?!"
"T-Tsuki..." All of a sudden, Mako began losing consciousness as he collapsed onto Tsuki, who quickly caught him.
"Aono-chan! Did YOU just defeat Kuyā-chan?" asked Mr. Nekonome. "And it turns out we were WRONG about you being a human."
"Uh, actually," Tsuki tried to explain, "she was defeated by—wait! WHAT?!"
"Wow, looks like the Public Safety Commission was wrong," said a student.
"We're SO sorry about our suspicions," said another.
"I had NO idea you were so powerful!"
"Come, guys! Let's carry her off like a hero!"
And so, the students picked up Tsuki and tossed her into the air.
"WAIT! NO!" cried Tsuki. "We need to get Mako-san to the hospital! NOW!"
"AND WHAT ABOUT ME?!" Gina cried as she pushed Kuyā's unconscious off was her; all her bones were nearly broken after being flattened.

And while we're at it, whatever happened to Ishigami-sensei? WHEE!
Meanwhile, Mr. Ishigami walked down a dark path away from Yōkai Academy, counting up the money from within his envelope. "Heh heh heh heh heh heh heh heh...this is PERFECT! No that bitch, Tsuki, will die...and I can fund my own art exhibit by—w-what the...!"
Just then, Mr. Ishigami literally stopped as he felt his foot being unable to move. Looking down, he saw his foot covered in ice. "W-What's going on?!" He tried to break his foot free, but soon the ice began crawling up his body, freezing his other foot in the process. "AH! STOP IT!"
"So YOU'RE the faggot who wanted to hurt her," said a voice from behind a tree.
Mr. Ishigami turned his attention to the tree where the voice was coming from. Behind the tree, an arm emerged out from the right side; inside the hand was a lit cigarette, which, with the tapping of a finger, lost a bit of the burnt off top.
Mr. Ishigami noticed something on the arm: a tattoo with the words "STEAL YOU AWAY" written in a blizzardy mist. "Who the hell are you?! Let me go! NOW! OR YOU'RE GONNA BE IN SO MUCH GODDAMN TROUBLE!" But Mr. Ishigami's screams caused the ice to grow more on his body until his face and the hand that held the money envelope.
The figure holding the cigarette finally came out from behind the tree as he put it back in his mouth.
"L-LET ME GO! COME ON! P-P-P-P-PLEASE! I-I BEG YOU!" cried Mr. Ishigami in terror.
But the merely approached Mr. Ishigami...and took the money envelope of his hand.
"HEY! THAT'S MINE!" Mr. Ishigami screamed.
"Not anymore," the figure said as headed to Yōkai Academy, walking past Mr. Ishigami.
"HELP! SOMEBODY HELP ME! AHHHHHHHH..." The ice finally consumed the face and free hand, leaving Mr. Ishigami completely frozen in ice.
"*MOAN* Wha..." Mako slowly opened his eyes as his consciousness slowly returned. Looking around, he noticed saw himself in the infirmary, wearing a hospital gown. Then he noticed someone laying her head on the side of the bed, along with her arms. "T-Tsuki..." she said with a smile.
"Huh?" Opening her eyes, Tsuki looked up and saw Mako smiling at her. "Mako-san!" she said in joy. "I'm so sorry for getting you into this mess...you almost got killed for my sake."
"Don't be. As long as you're okay."
"M-Mako-san," Tsuki said as she felt teary-eyed.
"Heh, quit crying."
*FLICK*
Mako flicked Tsuki's nose, just like...

"Heh heh heh heh...about time you woke up, ya sleepy bitch!"

Mako flicked Tsuki's nose.

"W-What's going on?" the human girl thought. "Am I..." Tsuki looked at Mako's confused and saw...the other Mako for a split second. "A-Am I falling for the OTHER Mako...?"
But Tsuki just slowly bent her head down to Mako, who closed her eyes. Tsuki moved her head closer...and closer...and closer...until their lips—
*BAM*
Suddenly, the infirmary door was kicked down, thwarting Tsuki and Mako's kiss.
"TSUKI-CHAN!" Kumaru yelled as he ran in to embrace Tsuki.
"What were you two doing?" asked Yukinari.
"Were you two trying to kiss?"
"Do it with me?"
Kumaru and Yukinari puckered up their lips to kiss Tsuki.
"NO!" screamed Mako. "KISS MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
*BITE*
*BITE*
*BITE*
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! NOT ALL THREE OF YOU!"
