I don't own Alex Rider.

Or do I….

No.

No, sadly I don't.

Thank you to AlexRider000 for giving me the idea to add kids from Cairo and L.A in this, it fits perfectly with the storyboard I have planned out!

Enjoy!

For Alex Rider, the room was pitch black and spinning. A high pitched whining noise made his head pound harder than it already was. He tried to open his eyes though they felt like they were glued down with cement.

Jumbled voices blurred together as the whining died down and he distantly felt his arms and legs restrained by ropes. He tried to move against them as he gained consciousness.

Blinking rapidly until he was awake, he groaned at the new found pain in his body and head. He tenderly felt the new bruise on his temple and winced.

"Alex?" Fox was the one speaking, but it took a few seconds to focus on him.

"Ben," he rasped. Talking, he realized how dry his throat was. He motioned to the old plastic water bottle sitting next to Mark.

The other teen tossed him the bottle and waited for him to drink.

"How are you feeling?" Sabina asked.

He finished what little was left in the bottle, if not a little guiltily, and nodded. "Better."

Looking up, his eyes grew wide in shock. There, cowering terrified and confused in front of him was the whole of his homeroom- classmates and teacher- and a few random faces that struck memories he wasn't sure he wanted to remember. Memories from Egypt. Cairo. Where Jack died.

Memories from his attempted renewal at life in California with the Pleasures. Classmates from his old school in America.

[A.N- I know some of this isn't canon and all and I can't figure out any of his classmates' names from L.A and Cairo so we're making it up. Sorry. My bad but we're pretty much pretending that all books after Scorpia Rising never happened. :)]

He couldn't exactly remember names of any of his old classmates name's but he knew their faces. He knew why Three wanted them all here.

"Crap," he muttered.

A small voice spoke up from the group. Alex remembered her as a classmate from Cairo.

"Alex?" she asked.

He tried to move toward them, wanting to explain. Apologize for getting them into this mess and promise to get them out of it. As he did so, a shooting pain ran up his leg.

He fell back on the ground with a sharp inhale of pain. He'd forgotten about the bullet wound in his leg from the cemetery. Sabina eased him down and he looked at her with thankful embarrassment.

He must have made it start bleeding again when he punched Three.

Worth it, he thought with a noticeable smirk.

"You're bleeding Alex! Dear goodness you look terrible," his homeroom teacher, Mr. Wells, said.

Alex managed a small scoff. "Really, I hadn't noticed," he laughed. "This tend to happen when I've been attacked and kidnapped. Though usually it's not with every single classmate I've ever gone to school with," he finished with a mutter.

One boy from his class in California looked around with confusion. "Can you explain where the heck we are. Why did they take us? Who even are you people?" his breath came in shorter gasps, and Alex scooched forward to keep the American from suffocating.

"It's a long story. We'll get out of this though."

"Long story?" Mr. Wells turned to Alex with raised eyebrows. "I think we have time." He motioned to the large cell walls around them.

The group muttered their agreement. A few of them from Brookland, still oblivious to his past, muttered something in their group about how they were in this situation because of "druggy Rider and his crazy gang."

"Rider!" one of them called. "We're here because of your gang, aren't we? They wanted revenge on you so they took all of us to make you suffer," he sneered.

"Awww," another crooned. Alex could tell he was scared but was trying to act brave. "We mean that much to you whittle Alex?"

The group laughed, if not a little nervously due to the circumstances. The group as a whole, more confused and scared now than ever, stared talking and crying with each other louder and louder until Alex felt like his head was going to explode.

He looked to Sabina and Fox for help but they both shrugged, not sure what to do.

Before his head could explode, Alex shouted, "Quiet!" A few people were still talking and crying hysterically, so he let out a shrill whistle with both fingers to his mouth until all heads were looking at him, eyes wide, awaiting an answer.

"I know you're all scared and confused on what's going on and I'm sorry to say it is, partially, in some way my fault-"

One of his classmates interrupted him. "I knew it! Druggie Rider and his gangs!"

Fox and Mr. Wells spoke up simultaneously, frowning at the statement and berating the boy. Even with an injured soldier, he looked intimidating. Alex raised both eyebrows.

"How dare you?" Fox asked in shock. "Do you know anything Cub has done for you all? For the world!?"

"Ben," Alex warned quietly. "Most of them don't know. None of them did before this disaster."

The SAS man gave another glare at the boy, staying there in confusion and fright.

Mr Wells cleared his throat uncertainty. "I'm sure we would all like the explanation. Who's Cub, though?"

Alex raised his hand with a sigh. "Me." Before they could interrupt again, he continued quickly. "All to be explained!"

That seemed to satisfy them to a calm outerior and Alex glanced at Sabina and Fox, who gave him nods.

"What I'm about to tell you is on a need to know- which means never needed to be known, pretty much in 99.9% of any case- basis. I'm telling you all because it's the reason, regrettably, why we were all kidnapped. This is all highly classified."

He gave them a look to make the statement sink in. He continued when he saw the nods.

"Fist off, you're all my classmates. Either from England, America, or when I was in Egypt at the Cairo College. Mr. Wells is my homeroom teacher from Brookland Comprehensive. Fox here is a good friend of mine that's helped me through MI6 with missions and this whole situation. He's an SAS soldier in K-Unit. Sabina is an old friend that I met on my third mission. She's… my girlfriend." He ignored the mutters. "Long story short, I'm a spy."

He let the group talk among themselves as they took in the new information.

He was going to have a lot of explaining to do.

"Before I get into detail," he said, quieting them down. "I want you all to know the group that kidnapped us has a long history with me. They're called SCORPIA. Information to come," he mentioned to a girl who was from his class in Egypt about to speak.

"They sort of want to kill me painfully, obviously." He motioned to his wounds. "And they thought that bringing you all here with me would make it…" he searched for the word. "Worse, I guess. So I'm sorry about that. I know it's really scary, but I promise one thing."

"Besides information, Rider?" a student from Brookland asked with a laugh.

He was glad the atmosphere in the cell wasn't as tense anymore. He smiled and nodded. "Besides information. We're going to get out of here. No one is dying. Not on my watch. Take this time to get some sleep. We all need it. I can't explain everything if we're all falling asleep on our feet."

It took him a second to realize how tired he was, despite being knocked out cold a while ago. As the group settled on the hard floor, and stared falling asleep, Alex turned toward Fox and Sabina.

"Any ideas?" he whispered, to not wake the others.

Fox sighed, rolling over onto his good shoulder. "K-unit will come. That Tom kid, too. Very feisty."

The three grinned. "That sounds like Tom."

Sabina gave him a reassuring smile. "We're going to get out of this one. You always do."

"Lucky Devil you are," Ben muttered before he started snoring.

"Yeah."

But it took him a few extra minutes to fall asleep, trying to think of a way to spill his secret to everyone. To escape.

Cliffhanger! Dun dun dunnnnn!

Thank you and I'll be posting again soon. What will happen with him telling his classmates? Escape? Dr. Three and SCORPIA's vendetta against him and everyone he knows? K-Unit and Tom?

I wonder…..

PLEASE REVIEW!

Thank you all so much.

Sorry, it's short. :)
