So Decadus, the disciple of the Intoner Four, abandoned his post at her side and joined Zero. This is very unusual. There isn't often switching sides of the disciples in the timelines but Never has the culprit been Decadus. There is no telling about how Four is taking his absence. Let alone how she will take his betrayal. This Branch continues to be an anomaly.

We march through the snowy mountains, The to disciples making conversation with the dragon as they march behind me.

"So Four has been getting more violent. And that's why you left?" Dito asks.

"Yes."

"Not gonna lie, muscle-for-brains. Thought you would be happy to have her more violent. You're a masochist, right?" The smaller man shrugs as he rubs his hands together for warmth.

"W-well, yes. Usually her more...violent tendencies w-would please me. B-but there is a limit. And her ruthlessness is not towards me."

"Are we to believe that you decided to go against your intoner for the simple reasons that she's behaving worse than you expected?" Michael growls as he walks behind us.

"N-no, well yes. But you do not understand. Her actions have become so much more than I can even describe. She's not only killing monsters but innocents and bystanders as well"

"Not to burst your bubble shit-for-brains. But we kill those people too." I spat out as I kicked some snow into the air. Fucking Snow.

"Y-yes but do you grind children into finely tuned chunks?"

My head whipped back to look at him. All of us paused and took a moment to stare at Decadus.

"Holy Shit, Decadus." Dito blurts out

"Y-You see my concern."

"I'm more concerned that she had to go that far for you to become concerned." Michael groans.

I keep walking as I cross my arms, part for warmth, part because I was thinking. "So Four went from a crazy bitch to an even crazier bitch?"

"Sounds like it, Z." Dito adjusts.

"No matter, either way we will do what has to be done." Michael stretches his wings And I nod to him.

"That's good and all but can we all just set up camp or something. I'm freezing my ass off here." Dito bitches while he holds himself.

"Well if you find a convenient camping spot, let me know," I reply.

"Actually, I came from a cave just over there." Decadus points out as he points to a cave not far from us.

"Quite covenant." Michael blurts out.

"Convenient, Michael. Let's go." We walk into the cave and slowly set up a fire. Michael wasn't small enough to fit so he laid outside in the snow. And midst his grumbling and bitching we started a fire among us as I sat near the entrance beside Michael.

"So, what's the plan, Z?" Dito leans against the cave wall beside the fire.

"Have Decadus tell us where Four is and go kill her, duh." I tapped my foot as I leaned back against Michael.

"I do not know her exact location, Lady Zero. But I do know that I last saw her flying in the airship." the older man said after he cleared his throat.

"A fucking airship, you've gotta be kidding me." groaning, stretched my shoulders.

"Well, we can worry about that tomorrow. For now, I'm gonna sleep off this fucking snow." Dito lays down beside the fire.

"Indeed, we will need rest to find Lady Four." Decadus nods as he gets comfortable.

I watched as the disciples rolled around and got comfortable and before long both of them were sleeping. My back was cold against Michael, but it was one of the only ways I was comfortable sleeping anymore. Besides, it's easier to sleep knowing those idiots are out before me.

"Zero." I hum to him. You seem to only find rest while leaning on me like this."

"Fuck off," I start, " It's just comfortable. Nothing more, nothing less."

He chuckles under his breath, I feel his head move as he lays on the snow outside. For a minute we were quiet, My eye closed as I tried to let myself sleep.

"Michael, before you sleep."

"What is it?" He hums, as my eye reopens. Watching the fire flicker in front of me as I take my flesh hand. Bringing my knuckles up and rubbing against his scales. Gently, as I hear him hum against my hand, even though it just barely feels like anything to him.

"You better follow-through," I mutter. His humming softens.

"Of course."

And slowly, with my knuckles rubbing against familiar cold scales, I fluttered to sleep. Tomorrow, Four. I'm coming for you tomorrow.

Decadus' betrayal is still unknown for now and we can only hope that the flower's influence hasn't pushed Four too far over the edge. But with how Five's confrontation went, one can only imagine how Four's would go.

Well, we can only see tomorrow.
