I hate that I have to make this announcement, but I don't have any other choice.
This story is currently on hiatus until the end of the school year.
I don't want to have to do this. I love writing and I love connecting with you guys. You are wonderful readers and honestly keep me going most days. But I am having to cut out almost all my writing until the summer. Because of the cruel combination of ADHD and dyslexia, I am currently failing too many of my classes, including ones I HAVE to pass. So at least until the end of the school year, I will no longer be publishing new chapters on this story or any new stories. The ONLY exception is if I write any Star Wars poems for class, I'll publish those. But no more unnecessary writing.
I don't want to have to abandon this work. I am trying my best not to. But until I have my school situation under control, I won't have the time or the brainpower to devote to this book. I might be able to squeeze it in, but it wouldn't be worth your time to read. I am so, so sorry to have to do this, but I no longer have a choice. I will do my best to get back in the writing groove once summer begins, but if I'm doing summer school I won't be able to.
Mark my words, this story will be finished, one way or another. I don't care if it takes years, it WILL be finished. If you're a new reader feeling discouraged that I won't be continuing, DON'T BE. I am going to finish this story no matter what. I can still respond to PMs and reviews, so if you want to say hi, check up on me, or offer encouragement, PLEASE do. Notifications on PMs appear to be fixed, so I will respond in a timely manner, even if it's just a thank you.
I am so, so, so sorry. This really does break my heart to do. This story is one of the few good things I have left in my life, but if it's a distraction from my schoolwork, it has to go. I am so, so sorry.
