Hello Everyone, It's time for another chapter this week. But first, there's a review we need to look at!
Kawsboy: Nice job catching that! I was hoping someone would notice that Easter egg. But that's not the only one in the chapter, in fact I hid a few more throughout the story. I'd love for people as many as they can.
Now, on with the story.
Chapter 12: Acknowledged
(Inside Kala'e Bay.)
Boom! Boom, boom, boom, boom! "It looks like you've already mastered Swift. I've never seen any Pokémon perfect that move as gracefully as you have done, Stella." "T-thank you A-ash. Eon." Said Stella while blushing. Over the past few days Stella had begun to enjoy her interactions with Ash more. Learning more about each other, playing and bonding with each other's Pokémon, Stella had even begun to miss being by Ash's side while sleeping in bed every night. She enjoyed his company and her feelings for him began to pop up more and more. She was blushing at every compliment Ash gave to her, longed for him when he left for errands and meetings, and even fantasized at the thought of travelling all around Alola together, so much so that she had not noticed Ash waving at her line of sight. "Stella. Stella. World to Stella?" "Oh. Ash, I'm so sorry." "It's alright. Everyone dozes off as some point." "What moves are next? Eon?" "Let's See. You've already mastered Disarming Voice, Moonblast, and Swift. So that just leaves Fairy Wind for you to master." "Excellent! Should we get started? Eon?" "I would like to. But unfortunately, The Alola League just notified me for a meeting, and so we have to bring this session to a close." "Oh." Stella's face then turned to a frown at that instant. "I know you'll be able to master Fairy Wind soon. Let's head home."
(Ash and Stella then head back home via Charizard.)
"You should be ok being alone for a few hours, right?" Asked Ash. "I am. But I've got Fennekin, Pancham, and all of your other Pokémon, so I'm not really alone. Eon." Said Stella. "That's great. I have to get going now. Bye Stella." "Bye Ash. Bye Pikachu." "Pika. (Bye Stella.)" Cried Pikachu. Ash and Pikachu then left to go to the league meeting. "Ash is on your mind again?" Cried Fennekin, although Stella can understand what she is saying. "Yes, and it's getting much harder to hide my feelings for him. What should I do, Fennekin? Eon?" "You can't hide these feelings forever. I think it would be a good idea to confront him about this." "I-I don't know. Do you really think he'll feel the same for me?" "If he does, it'll be like a dream coming true. But if not, you two can still be friends with each other. So either way, it's a win-win situation." "Oh Fennekin, I don't what I would do without you and Pancham. Eon." "Did I miss anything?" Cried Pancham, who walked his trainer and teammate's conversation after waking up from a nap. "No. Me and Fennekin were just talking about girl stuff." "Okay. Where's Ash and Pikachu?" "They had to go to a league meeting. Eon." "Can I play with the others?" "Of course you can play with Ash's Pokémon, Pancham. Just don't take too long since I'll be making lunch soon." "Okay."
(A Few Hours Later)
"Hello? Stella?" Said Ash as he entered his home. "Ash?! You're here early! Eon!" Said Stella. "I know. It turns out that the Alolan Summer Festival is happening soon and that the meeting was held for us to resolve a few matters before it began. We were able to get it all done in a matter of hours." "Oh." "Here's the best part, not only do I have the rest of the day off, but also, all league activities are suspended during the duration of the festival. Meaning I have no errands to do, or meeting to attend for two weeks." "Two weeks! That's amazing, Ash! Eon!" "How's everything so far?" "Good I made lunch for myself and the others. I gave Fennekin, Pancham, and all of your Pokémon bowls of Pokémon food and berries and I made sandwiches for myself using your mother's recipe, although I did add some Pokémon food for extra taste." "I see." "I was just about to take a nap when you came in, but I can make lunch for you if you'd like. Eon." "Stella, its fine. You worked hard in the few hours I've been gone. You can take your nap. You deserve it." "But what about you? What will you eat?" "I'll order something from Aina's." "Okay." Stella went to her room to take a nap, but not before looking at Ash leaving for Aina's with a gleeful smile on her face.
(Several Hours Later)
"Mmm. Two o-clock in the morning, huh? I'm rather thirsty, I'll go get some water then." Said Ash. Ash got off the bed carefully, so as to not wake up Pikachu and proceeded to go downstairs to the kitchen to grab himself a cup of water. What he did not expect was to see Stella there as well. "Ash? What are you doing down here late at night? Eon?" Asked Stella. "I was about to ask the same thing. I'm just here to grab some water since I'm thirsty. You?" Said Ash. "I'm having a bit of trouble sleeping." "Is it another nightmare, if so, you're welcome to sleep by my side if you like." "No. It's not a nightmare, but thank you for the offer. Eon." "What is then?" Stella then noticed that she was blushing hard. "Ash, I've been having these thoughts lately and they've been growing by the day." "What kind of thoughts? You can tell me anything." "Ash I… I… I have feelings for you! Feelings of love and romance! I like you as in a 'more than friends' type of way. But I don't know if this causes a problem with the case! Eon!" "That's funny, because I like you in the same way as well." "Y-you do." "I do. I know you're concerned, but we'll find a way to work through this." Ash and Stella then hear sounds from the stairs. "Pika Pika. Pika Pika Pika Pika? (Hey guys. What are you doing?)" Cried Pikachu. "Pancham! Pancham Pancham! (Stella! You're Safe!)" Cried Pancham. "Fenne Fenn Fennekin. Fenn Fenn Fennekin Fenn. (We noticed you weren't in bed. So we got worried Sis.)" "Oh. We just went downstairs for different reasons and net up here and it turns out we like each other. Eon." "So much so that we're dating now." Pikachu and Pancham then look at their trainers with their jaws agape while Fennekin looks at them with glee in their eyes. "Fennekin?! (Dating?!)" "Yep." "Pancham… Pan Pancham Pan? (Does that… mean you're leaving us?)" Stella then noticed that Pancham had tears in her eyes and wrapped her feelers around him and Fennekin. "Of course not, Pancham! You and Fennekin are like brother and sister to me and I love you two very much, but the love I have for Ash is a different kind of love. One that I don't really know how to explain yet. Eon." "It's the same for me and Pikachu as well. Even though we're best friends, I love you from the bottom of my heart Stella." Stella was blushing from Ash's words, beginning to wonder if this was a dream. "Ash? What does Pokémon food taste like for humans?" "Oooouuuah. I'd answer that, but I'm sleepy. Is it alright if I tell you tomorrow?" Said Ash after getting a glass of water. "I agree. I'm sleepy as well. Eeeeeonn." With that, both Ash and Stella went back to sleep, both feeling very happy as they went to their respective beds. Though both of them had questions, they knew they would find or figure out the answers to many of them as time went on. But the best part about it for them was that they were going to do it all together.
