During the week that Maxwell went to Hexside with Luz, Willow, Gus, Amity, even Viney, Jerbo and Barcus. His first week of Hexside school was showing to be pleasant. He showed to be adjusting well there but he did attract the attention from a girl or two which they only waved at him with a grin and he would ether blush, nervously grin and wave back or he'd blush and look away as he would look down at the floor which no matter how he reacted to that, it left the girls giggling. He knew that the only woman he's interested in is the one woman he's been romantically involved with since his first kiss with her, being only Eda.
Things between him and Principle Bump were awkward, well, only for Principle Bump himself as the events of Maxwell's first day at Hexside has left him speechless around him since Luz proven that the recent incident was no one's fault but Principle Bump was proven to be guilty of failing to inform the teachers and staff so they'd inform the students in case of what happened at the other schools was to reach Hexside. Since Luz proved to the principle of the school to have failed to heed the advice Maxwell given him and that he had no right to blame the incident on a student, and that Maxwell used his magic to repair all damages to the school. It was leaving Principle Bump to feel a bit awkward to where he barely spoke during the week but he was otherwise alright.
Ever since Maxwell saw the portrait of Eda when she was a teenager, he was love-struck by her all over again like the day he first realized how he feels about her. He was feeling like an inspired artist as he would be helping around the house a bit more to as he would say is to help "take some of the weight" off their backs. Luz was still surprised at how strong Maxwell is, Eda also didn't mind this since she knew he was being the gentlemen he is, she figured it was a form of flattery or it was just him being the gentlemen he's always been shown to be.
Luz and King informed him about the incident with the Greater Basilisk that had attacked the schools along with Hexside, they were worried he'd freak out when they explained it to him gently but to their surprise, he wasn't freaking out, he did state that he didn't like how Principle Bump reacted when he almost gave Viney, Jerbo and Barcus a scolding but hearing how Luz proved to the principle that hurting students to get some help with repairing damages to the school wasn't right and how she convinced Principle Bump to realize he made a mistake and let both Luz and the other three students learn more than one magic track had left Maxwell feeling admiration for her actions.
"Maxie, when you were getting King to leave the school with us on your first day. What did you tell him to convince him to not want to be a teacher at Hexside?" asked Luz curiously.
"Lets just say I told him the downsides of being a teacher. That's all I'm going to say." Maxwell revealed.
Telling this to Luz had the young female human like she expected to hear something worse and more dramatic, but this was actually something she could accept as a means of not wanting to hurt King's feelings, she found that to be kind of him and hugged Maxie firmly, leaving him to blush and smile.
It was the end of the week, Friday, and both Eda, Luz, King and Maxwell have already got done eating something after it had been some time after the two human teenagers came home from school that day. They were forced to stay inside the house when the boiling rain started which Eda formed a force field spell to shield the entire house from the boiling rain while others throughout the Boiling Isles did the same where ever they lived.
Eda was walking down the hallway that lead to her bedroom, than the stairs going down and stopped to see Luz nearly bump into her, both stopping before colliding with each other.
"Whoa there, kiddo, where's the fire?" asked Eda.
"Sorry, I didn't know you were coming this way. Than again, I don't know if witches can see through walls, but that would be so cool to do that." said Luz her interest peaking.
"Well, keep dreaming, witches can't do that." said Eda looking annoyed.
Luz looked a bit surprised to hear this but Eda laughed and snorted with a grin.
"I'm kidding, there is a spell for that. But no other witch has used it in so long, well, I haven't heard anyone using it recently." said Eda with a grin.
"Have you ever used it before?" asked Luz curiously.
"Once, but it was to spy on some of the girls at school and pull a funny prank on them." replied Eda giggling.
"What did you do?" asked Luz.
Eda tried hard not to laugh too hard but she only chuckled from the idea of what she mentioned of her past prank.
"I put something in their food they had for lunch and it made them all have the longest, loudest and and stinkiest fart ever. Any of them that had boyfriends nearly passed out from the stench. Ha!" chuckled Eda.
Luz blushed at the very mentioning of the prank but she otherwise chuckled about the sounds of it.
"Makes me wonder what prank didn't you pull." said Luz.
"I'll let you know if I find out." answered Eda. "Speaking of boyfriends, where's Maxie?"
"The living room. King seems to be teaching him a bit more about some demons he hasn't covered yet." answered Luz.
"Luz, mind if I ask something?" said Eda.
Luz nodded as she gave her attention to Eda.
"When Maxie had his first day at that dweebus factory, no offense, by the end of that day, did you happen to notice he was a bit." Eda began.
"Love-struck?" Luz guessed.
"Right, do you happen to know what triggered that at the end of that day? My guess is that he must have really missed me or that taking on that lizard demon must have had something to do with it." asked Eda.
Luz smiled and blushed while Eda had raised an eyebrow.
"What?" said Eda looking confused.
"Well, you remember everything I told you about that day, right?" said Luz.
"Of course, wish I could've been there to see him take down that lizard dude along with how you've proven Principle Big Rump wrong when you told him off like that and he was forced to realize that he was wrong and both you and Maxie were right. I would've been dancing and singing to that just to annoy Bump with the big rump." said Eda giggling a bit.
"Well, this also involves when it was my first day there. Both me, and the three new friends I told you about, and now Willow, Gus, Amity and Maxie know about the detention track, the secret room of shortcuts, and the fact that the first to discover that room was you, aka, Lord Calamity." explained Luz.
The expression on Eda's face shown that she was wide eyed with unexpected surprise to hear this. So now Luz, Maxwell, and Luz's friends, all know that she is the one known as "Lord Calamity" and they know about her discovery of the said room and that Eda used that room a lot.
"You should've seen Maxie's face when he saw that portrait of you when you were a teenager." said Luz.
"He got love-struck and fainted, didn't he?" said Eda with a grin.
"Big time." answered Luz.
Eda smiled and playfully shook her head as if knowing this was a typical reaction, she chuckled a bit afterwards.
"That boy must be crazy about me, and who can blame him? I'm one beautiful, fiery rebel and there's no putting out this flame." Eda said swelling with pride. "That explains why he's been in such a dream like state at times."
Luz giggled as Eda reached out to place her hand on Luz's cheek.
"You sure no one bullied you on both your first day and Maxie's first day?" asked Eda hopefully.
"Nope." Luz replied.
"Good, because no one messes with my humans." said Eda relieved.
"Speaking of anything human related, this human has to use the lady's room." stated Luz.
Eda got out of the way to let Luz go up the stairs where the bathroom was as she would go to use it. Eda walked down the hallway and stopped at the entrance to the living room. She poked her head in the room to see King and Maxwell sitting in the living room while King got up and stretched his back.
"Lets take a break from this for now. I'm going to get a drink of water, want anything?" King suggested.
"I'm cool, thanks little man." said Maxwell kindly.
King left the room and walked by Eda.
"If you need me, I'll be having a cold drink, no tickling each other." joked King.
King walked off to get a drink from the kitchen while Eda walked into the living room. Maxwell turned to see Eda as he got up on his feet and stood there.
"Something on your mind?" asked Maxwell curiously.
"A little mischief." joked Eda.
Maxwell chuckled. Eda suddenly had a serious look on her face now as she walked over towards Maxwell. The young boy could tell that she had something serious on her mind from the looks of it.
"Maxie, I'd like to let you know something." Eda began. "I know about the events of your first day attending Hexside."
"Is that a bad thing?" asked Maxwell confused.
"Not really. Luz explained to me about how you and her now know a little something about me when you and Luz both experienced your first day." answered Eda.
Maxwell didn't know what it was at first but than it hit him like lightning. He blushed deeply as he figured Eda knows about the events of their first day, along with how both of them know about Eda discovering the secret room of short cuts, the fact that she must know that they've learned about Eda had a portrait of herself under the name of "Lord Calamity" and he figured that she knew how he reacted when he saw that picture of Eda when she was at least a teenager. His heart raced as he blushed deeper.
"So it's true about you discovering that room and you know about Luz telling off Principle Bump and how six other students were proving him wrong? Oh, you probably know about my reaction to seeing that portrait?" said Maxwell nervously.
She nodded once and Maxwell blushed a bit deeper which Eda placed her hands on his shoulders and pulled him in close to her as she planted a kiss to his lips, leaving Maxwell surprised as his heart raced faster, closing his eyes as he kissed her back. Both of them were kissing each other as they were passionately and gently making-out with each other. They eventually pulled their lips off one another for a minute.
"When you took down that lizard dude, was it true that he was a smoker?" asked Eda curiously.
"He admitted that he has a favorite brand of cigars." Maxwell confirmed.
"Looks like that lizard punk learned the hard way about how bad smoking is for one's health and he got burned." said Eda jokingly. "So he got burned like that blood sucking leech?"
Maxwell nodded.
"He harmed a lady and tried to harm others. He's not allowed to do that." said Maxwell. "Luz may have come up with a plan to take him down, but still, he gave our regards to his extinct brethren."
"That's my humans. Show 'em whose the dominant species." said Eda proudly.
Eda pulled Maxwell in for another kiss to his lips as both of them began to kiss each other and were making-out once again, both of them moaning into the kiss a little. The fact that Luz, her friends and even Maxwell took down the now deceased lizard demon and how they proven Principle Bump wrong about something and that the principle realized that Luz and Maxwell were right and proven it to him, it left her feeling proud of both of them, yet how Maxwell fought against the lizard demon and and won left her feeling a bit aroused and excited.
Eda pressed her body against Maxwell's as she pressed him on his back against the wall now, still kissing him while he kissed her back. It looked like they were having a bit of a romantic moment. From the hallway, Luz was about to walk in on them but she hidden behind the entrance to the living room, she peaked her head in and saw both Eda and Maxwell making-out. She went back to hiding behind the left side of the living room entrance as she saw King coming. Luz raised a hand to stop him but also signaled him with a finger over her lips for him to not make a sound.
"What's going on? Is Maxie sleeping?" whispered King.
Luz pulled King up in her arms and whispered in King's ear about why she wants them both to not make a sound, leaving him blushing deeply and looking up at Luz. King managed to ask Luz if both Eda and Maxwell were having a romantic moment or kissing each other from what he managed to do with hand signals, it was like he tried sign language with his hands, he wasn't very good at it but Luz managed to read what he asked her as she nodded.
Both Luz and King leaned in and slightly poked their heads from their hiding spot and now they saw both Eda and Maxwell were on the couch. Eda was laying on top of him, kissing him as they would run their fingers through each others hair at times. They would chuckle a bit during the kissing.
"Lets give them some alone time." whispered King.
Both Luz and King left to snack on something from the kitchen while Eda and Maxwell were kissing each other like a couple that fell madly in love with one another.
"Hold me, Eda." said Maxwell during the kiss.
"I've got you, big boy." said Eda in a husky tone.
Eda leaned in and kissed Maxwell's chest, it looked like she was kissing his heart as a form of comfort which was working to keep both of them feeling warm inside and outside. She looked up at him and leaned in to nuzzle her cheeks against his as it looked like they were snuggling each other.
"You're quite affectionate for a rebel." chuckled Maxwell.
"Only when I'm around you. But don't worry, I won't bite, unless you want me to." said Eda making a light joke afterwards.
She let out a wild yet playful cat like growl as she briefly yet lightly tickled Maxwell's sides, belly and chest, causing him to shake and squirm a bit but she stopped tickling him and she pressed her chest to his as they felt each other's hearts beating against one another. She smiled while Maxwell looked back at her, blushing again.
"You're cute when your blushing." said Eda.
Maxwell gulped loudly and as Eda kissed his forehead, he felt like he too was turned on by their actions.
"Eda, would you object if I said your making my heart accelerate faster than a jet plane that breaks the land speed record?" asked Maxwell.
"Maxwell Logan, are you trying to seduce me?" asked Eda with a grin.
"Would you be alright with it if I said yes?" said Maxwell with a nervous grin.
Eda placed her hands on Maxwell's shoulders, grinned with a dreamy expression in her eyes as she kissed him on his lips, causing Maxwell to kiss her back.
"Come to mama!" chuckled Eda.
As they both kissed each other and let their hormones rage, they both had quite the romantic alone time together as they were romantically kissing one another, snuggling each other and rubbing their bodies together.
Little did they know that somewhere in the Boiling Isles, there was a place that looked like people were getting ready for a fun event. It looked like a carnival event while what looked like a small male pig like demon with a curly pigtail with a red barbed tip and huge ears with a pig nose and two small protruding tusks. He wore glasses with an orchid vest and lilac bow added on to a white dress shirt. He smiled as he was looking like something gave him an idea.
"I could set something up here. That should make up for my stand at the night time market being destroyed by that lady in red." said the male pig.
As the male pig was looking for who ever was in charge of what was being set up, he stopped as he heard some workers conversion while they were on break. Both of them looked like they were middle aged cyclops.
"Hey Denbi, you hear about the owl lady?" said a male demon.
"Sure I have, what about her, Jack?" asked the other male demon.
The small male pig demon listened in on their conversation when he heard them mention the owl lady.
"Do you think she's dating anyone? I heard of a rumor that someone is dating her." said Denbi.
Jack nearly spat out his coffee as he looked at his co-worker in bewilderment.
"You got to be fucking with me, right?" said Jack looking shocked.
"I said it was a rumor. I never said it was true." Denbi corrected.
"Where did you hear this?" asked Jack curiously.
"Some kid and his friend who passed by after they got out of school for today." answered Denbi. "But what they said is obviously a rumor and most rumors are not true."
"Who did you learn that from?" said Jack.
"I learned it from you, remember?" Denbi reminded.
Jack looked surprised as he forgot that he taught his co-worker what he knows about rumors and the fact that most of them are not true. The small male pig demon grinned evilly.
"Oh? So the owl lady has a soft spot for a young man, huh? When I find out who she's dating, I got a surprise for them." said the pig demon starting to laugh evilly.
