Sorina walked into the room. Sitting at a table, Alina, Judy, and Doina were talking and laughing. Almost as soon as she walked up, the three pairs of ears stood straight up, and the girls stopped talking. Alexandru walked into the room and stopped in his tracks. He sniffed the air, looked at Sorina, and walked back out again.

"Is something wrong? Sorina asked, confused.

Judy looked at her.

"Well, Sorina, it might have to do with the fact, that you smell, um, very strongly of male lynx. And it's not Crodut or Luca"

Sorina blushed hard. She had completely forgotten to take a shower this morning. She was lucky no one had come to check on her.

God, that would have been mortifying. She thought. She had woken up in quite an intimate... position... with Taylor.

"Wait, wheres Daddy?!" Sorina cried. If her father walked in and caught a whiff of her, he'd wring Taylor's neck.

"The boys went out shopping this morning. We were running out of groceries."

Sorina breathed a sigh of relief.

"Alright, I'm heading to take a shower," Sorina said.

"Ah, ah, ah!" Alina said, waving her finger. She pointed to a chair. "Sit."

Sorina paled. "Mom, please, no."

"SIT."

Reluctantly, she sat down.

"So, who was it?" Alina asked, taking a sip of tea.

"Mother!" Sorina said.

"No buts. Now, tell me who it was."

Sorina sighed.

"It was Taylor, okay?" She said.

"Taylor? Oh, thank goodness!" Alina said.

Sorina looked up at her.

"What do you mean, 'thank goodness' ?" She asked.

"Well I was worried it might have been one of the Marlow boys or maybe the Hucthins. But Taylor, now there's a nice young man. Always so respectful." Alina said.

Sorina put her head in her hands, blushing deeply.

"How did he get in?" Doina asked. "He would of had to talk to Mom and Daddy if he came in through the front doors."

Judy decided she would save Sorina from the emmbaresment of having to tell her mother and sister what happened.

"I ran into him in the hall way, Alina." Judy said. "He came through a window."

"And you didn't alert us?" Alina didn't look or sound mad, just intruiged.

"Well he seemed like a nice guy, and he was going to give Sorina some flowers to try and cheer her up, because at the battle he had seen her and thought she looked sad." Judy explained. Sorina gave the rabbit a grateful look.

"Well Sorina, you certainly did choose a good one." Her mother said.

"MOM!" Sorina crowed.

"What? He's handsome. Kind. Respectful. Oh and at the meetings, his cookies are just delicious." Alina said, taking another sip of tea.

Alina put her tea down and looked straight into her daughters eyes.

"Sorina, do you love him? You've been best friends for years. In fact, the only I pretty much ever saw you smile, was when you were with him. So, I ask you again. Do you love him?"

Sorina met her gaze. She knew what her heart was saying. Sorina took a deep breath.

"Yes, mom, I do. I do love him. I've loved him for a long time."

The 3 ladies smiled.

"Good. Thats what matters. Now, you are going to stay down here until your father gets home and then we can tell him, okay?"

Sorina moaned.

I should probably call Taylor and tell him to start running. She thought.

The 4 laideis stood outside the door and watched the Jaguar pull up. As soon as Nick got out of the passenger seat his head whipped around. He sniffed the air, and his eyes narrowed. He traced the scent and found it was coming... from Sorina.

Luca and Crodut stepped out carrying groceries and the 3 began to walk towards the house. About 10 feet away, they stopped. Luca and Crodut both lifted their muzzles in the air and sniffed. Their eyes went wide, and they scanned the four ladies. They focused on Sorina. She gave a small wave. Luca's eyes narrowed to slits but Croduts stayed wide open.

"Um.. I will take groceries inside." He took the other groceries from his father and hurried into the castle. Nick went over and stood next to Judy. Alina walked up to Luca.

"Lets go sit down in the garden, shall we dear." Alina practically had to drag him over to the chairs. Finally, they were all seated.

Sorina began.

"So, Daddy-"

Luca exploded out of his chair, knocking it over.

"Why do you smell like a male lynx!?"

"Um..."

Judy spoke up.

"Your daughter had a... visitor last night."

Luca's eye twitched.

"WHO." He said coldy. "And just what exactly did they do to my little girl?"

"It was... it was Taylor, Daddy." Sorina said.

Luca's expression softened slightly.

"And what was Taylor doing?"

"Well he... um... brought me some flowers, and I, uh, invited him to stay the night, and there was only one bed and he wasn't familiar with the cast-"

"Taylor is just as familiar with the castle as you are Sorina." Luca said, his eyes blazing. Then, all the anger seemed to slump out of him. He fell back into another chair and our his hands over his eyes.

"Did... you..." Luca cleared his throat, now looking more uncomfortable than angry.

"Yes, Daddy we had sex." Sorina said.

Luca coughed and hacked, clearly not expecting such a quick and hardset answer. After he finished coughing, he went back to looking uncomfortable.

"Did you... did you at least use... protection?"

Sorina turned to red, she looked like a ripe tomato.

"Ummmm..." Sorina just realized they had been so caught up each other they had completely forgotten to use... protection.

Luca stood up, the anger back in his eyes.

"Cappi!" The badger reappeared next to Luca. He had healed quite nicely and was already up to speed(eww, bad pun).

"Find me Taylor Amans." Luca told him.

"Daddy no!" Sorina cried. The badger disappeared. It took about a minute before he reappeared. He dropped Taylor onto the grass.

"Hey whats going on!" He protested. Then he saw the look Sorina's father was giving him. He sniffed the air. He could still smell himself, way too much of himself, on Sorina.

"Oh shit." He muttered. He stood up and brushed himself off.

"Listen , I'd like to formall-"

"Come with me." Luca said.

"Daddy, what are you doing?" Sorina asked.

"No its okay Sorina, I've got this." Taylor said. He walked after Luca, who had strode to the other side of the garden behind a hedge maze. Luca stopped and turned around. Taylor twiddled his thumbs and tried to avoid meeting the older lynx's gaze.

"Do you love my daughter, Taylor?" Luca asked. Taylor was surprised by the question. He had been expecting to feel the full wrath of a father whos little girl had just been... taken.

"Uh.. what?"

"It's a simple question, Taylor. Do you love my daughter?" Luca said, annoyed.

"Yes sir. Yes I do love her. I lover her the day I met her, even though I was only 9." Taylor said, meeting Lucas gaze firmly.

"Will you ever stop loving her?"

"No sir."

"Will you treat her with the respect she deserves?"

"Yes sir."

"Will you care for her, in sickness and in health?"

"Always sir."

"In poverty and wealth?"

"Forever."

Luca sighed.

"Well then, Taylor. I would be proud to call you son. Just use protection next time, at least until you marry her." Luca patted him on the shoulder and walked away, leaving the dark lynx in shock.

"Wait!" Taylor called. Luca turned around. Taylor reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small box. Luca nodded and continued to walk away.

When they returned, Sorina ran to Taylor.

"Are you okay? What did he do to you." Sorina inspected Taylor for any damage.

"Sorina...' Taylor said. He took a step back, then got down on one knee. "Sorina, I've loved you for 14 years. I've made a promise to your father to never stop loving you. I want you to be with me. Forever."

He pulled out the box and opened it. Inside was an absolutely beautiful ring. It was a solid gold band. On the top, in a cradle made from woven metal sat a deep dark blue saphire, which was the same color as Sorina's eyes(when she wasn't a vampire).

"Will you marry me Sorina?"

Sorina had her hands over he mouth. Tears formed in her eyes. She nodded. Taylor jumped up, grabbing her at the waist. He lifted her up and twirled around, the both of the laughing. He set her down, and took the ring out of the box. He slipped it onto her finger and kissed her.

"I want you as my wife as soon as possible, understood?" Taylor said. Sorina nodded. Then they were interrupted by the sound of applause coming from the table. Nick caught Sorina's eye and nodded, letting her know he forgave her, and there was no hard feeling.

Doina jumped onto Taylors head.

"Come on lover boy. We have a wedding to plan.' She cried.

Sorina had been redeemed. She found someone to spend her life with, and who will make her feel loved. Don't worry, I will give you a wedding. This is kind of making up for not giving you one between Nick and Judy, but maybe they can renew their vows? Who knows? :). The wedding will either be the next chapter or the chapter after that. No more action for awhile. Hope you enjoyed!
