Making loyalties

After a short talk with the lord, she headed back to the inn and sighed some. "You know for an assassin, you are easy to spot Zevran."

He appeared next to her, "Oh, but you knew I was there when I wanted you to, hm?"
She chuckled, "I knew you were there from the start my friend." She kept walking, "in what I assume will be morning, we're going hunting for a cartel."

They made it back to the inn without a problem, and went to bed. After a few hours, it felt like morning to them, and the group gathered downstairs, to eat and prepare for the day. It was amazing to have a meal that was prepared by someone else.

Lenna looked around, "We have to find something. We cannot really talk about at this time…since apparently the walls have eyes in Orzamar."

The next morning, as they walked out to start looking for the Carta Lenna saw a commotion going on at a nearby storefront. Hearing the familiar name Jarvia piqued her interest. She followed them in to see them trying to rough up the merchant.

She coughed getting their attention, "I don't think this is worth your lives friends…" The three dwarves looked back and were shocked to see Alistair, and Sten behind Lenna looking very menacing, while Morrigan and Wynne seemed to wait outside for the time being.

"Now, I heard you mention the name Jarvia. I assume you work for her Carta…where can I find this place."

Weighing their options the dwarves gave in, "In the castle's hall. Take this. We're getting out of here…if you're done with us at least…" Lenna took the strange symbol, and the three parted letting the dwarves run.

The merchant seemed thankful, "Thank you surfacer for saving me. If you come back, I will give you a discount."

Lenna nods, "Thank you. You are too kind." She looked at the symbol curiously and wandered out of the store followed by her friends. She leads them to the

She spotted a young woman who was holding her newborn, she approached the woman.

The woman looked up at her, "spare some money so my son and I can eat tonight?"

Lenna offered her five gold, "why are you out here you do not look like a castless."

"My sons father is. Dwarves take the cast of their same-sex parent so my father tried to get to abandon him in the deep roads but I couldn't do that to him..."

"Who is your father? Perhaps I can change his mind."

"You would do that for me?" She seemed shocked. "You don't even know me."
"I don't have to. You want to protect your child, I can respect that." She smiles at her. "And if worse comes to worst, you could always take the child top side. There at least you could provide for him. Since cast does not mean much up there.

"His name is Order, he is usually in the inn, Tapster's Tavern. Thank you so much, my lady."

"When I get back, I would like to know how the Carta operates before you leave."

"Oh…I'm sorry Miss I don't know that, but that woman by the fire over there knows a lot about things like that."

Lenna nods, and went to go talk to the woman's father.

Alistair smiled at his Grey warden companion; He enjoyed the fact that she had such a kind heart, and was so willing to go out of her way for others.

She approached the man who looked similar to the woman she just spoke with, "Excuse me, I am sorry to bother you, but are you Ordel?"

The man grunted irritably, "Aye, who wants to know?" He looked at her suspiciously.

"I met your daughter Zerlinda."

He sighs, "Oh that again. Has she finally gotten rid of that child…"

"I'm sorry to say it, but your daughter is looking ill. She was talking about leaving for the surface so that maybe she and the child could live."

The man froze looking up at her, "No…my sweet baby that can't happen…tell her to come home we will think of something we can do to help her and the child…just tell her to come home with him. Thank you, surfacer."

"Of course." She smiles and they left.

She returned to the young woman, "Your father wishes you both to come home, dear."

"Truly?" Her eyes light up, "Thank you so much, my lady. I do not think I could ever repay you enough. thank you." The woman hurried off, she had clearly been homesick.

She turned to speak to the old woman, "I am looking for some information, how about I pay you for it."

The woman chuckled, "Okay. What kind of information are you looking for then?"

"Where is the entrance to the Carta hide out."

"You will need one of their special coins…"
"And if I already do?"

"Then that door over there will open when you press it in."

"Thank you." She handed the women six gold pieces.

The woman marveled, "Thank you kindly, my lady. I will be able to eat well on this for a while."

"Of course." She smiled. And she and her companions walked to the door, and opened it promptly, they ushered in the door which slamming behind Morrigan.

It was a few hours and what felt like hundreds of dead dwarves and black-market animals before they got to the end of the winding underground passages. They burst into the final room to find the leader of the Carta.

At this point, Lenna was tired of people trying to kill her, as the dwarven woman moved to speak, she pulled out an arrow and shot her clean in the shoulder, "I've had a long day in your damned tunnels. You try to negotiate your way out of this is not going to happen after your people have been trying to kill me all of what I presume is a day."

Lenna spied tones of traps, Luckily Jarvia was more attention to Wynne and Morrigan due to their magic. Lenna sunk into the shadows as she started to disarm traps, as Traps started to pop everywhere, Sten and Alistair got the hint that perhaps their best plan would be to wait until they are told it was safe to start moving, so they tried their best to block attacks that came for Morrigan and Wynne.

It felt like hours but it was just a mere moment, suddenly Lenna reappeared, shooting another Carta dwarf that had started charging toward her friends. While they were vastly outnumbered, the dwarves were vastly out skilled. The group took out the soldiers first while Lenna distracted Jarvia, the two rogues taking turns vanishing and attempting to harm the other, it was like they could reach one another like a book, it was a mesmerizing dance.

When Jarvia was dead, and her lackeys laid dead in their own blood, Lenna relaxed, as did her companions. They searched around what seemed like it could be the office and found the information, and proof Harrowmont asked for.

"Well, hopefully, soon we can get their promise of aid. I thought I left all this political crap behind when I joined the wardens…" Lenna sighed.

Alistair and Lenna returned to Harrowmont, to see what he might want or need them to do now, they would soon wish they hadn't done such, however.

"You took down the Carta?!" Harrowmont seemed surprised, "That is wonderful, thank you, warden. I hate to keep asking favors of you, but the only way to really secure my gaining the ability to rule would be to find a paragon…and there is only really one who is living…or at least presumed to live. You see, a few years ago, Branka took most of her house into the deep roads in search of the anvil of the void. If you could find Branka and get her to support me, my taking the throne would be assured."

Lenna forced a soft smile, "Sure, do you know where this anvil might be located, or do I just get to search the whole deep roads? Because I am on a bit of a time crunch with the whole impending blight and all."

Harrowmont shakes his head, "I do not, but Branka's husband, whom she left behind would likely know how to find her. His name is Oghren, you have probably seen him around likely running amuck."
