Sailor Moon One-shots
(A/N: I own nothing and read last chapter.)
"You mean to tell me that my favorite student is Sailor Moon?!" Haruna demanded as she looked at the other Senshi who had released their Senshi form after Pluto had obliterated the Youma that had dared harm her princess. After Usagi had been hurt the other Sailors went nuts, but Pluto reacted the worst as she completely throttled and obliterated the Youma with her bare hands, before they had released their transformations and had hurried Usagi to the hospital claiming that she had been hit by a Youma before the Sailors could destroy it…which wasn't really a lie.
"Keep your voice down Sensei." Ami hissed slightly to her teacher who nodded and lowered her voice as the group of them were waiting in the private waiting room at the hospital that Haruka had rushed Usagi to, Rei and Hotaru in the backseat trying to keep her from bleeding out until they arrived. Michiru and Rei's pulls and glares ensuring they had the waiting room to themselves while Ami called her mother to help Usagi. The older woman had rushed right over to do what she could for her daughters first and best friend.
"You mean to tell me that my favorite student is Sailor Moon." Haruna stage whispered sarcastically, not in the mood to deal with any crap from the girls with her favorite student having been hurt protecting her.
"Yes." Was the immediate deadpan response from all of the other girls who were trying to cope with the wait in their own ways and each one seemed to reflect some part of their personality and position with Usagi.
Makoto was muttering different things she could cook for her princess as she ran through some katas. Minako was checking the red strings of fate to make sure Usagi's was still there and trying to keep everyone calm. Rei was making new seal tags and was grumbling about not being able to start a fire or bring her bow and arrows into the hospital. Ami was looking up the statistics and different treatments that could be used to help her princess while the air around her was particularly wet and heavy.
Haruka was pacing and muttering curses under her breath as she twitched to grab her sword that wasn't there at the moment. Michiru was sketching a drawing for her princess and looking into her mirror every few minutes wishing she could have brought her violin. Hotaru was looking the most worried as she tried to draw a picture for her hime-mama as well and kept glancing to a certain spot every few seconds with worried eyes. Given her powers the rest weren't sure they wanted to know what the youngest of the group was seeing.
Setsuna was the calmest of them all as she stood leaning against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest and staring off apparently into blank space. From what one of the others had mentioned though, she was checking the time stream and making sure that the future with their princess alive and happy was still there.
She had been staring at that future for going on five minutes straight now.
And it was setting everyone on edge more than they already were.
"This explains so much." Haruna said quietly and earning snorts from the others.
"Yeah I bet." Rei said with a rather unladylike snort as she drew another seal and then quickly moved it to the side when her fingers flickered with flames.
Most of the girls were starting to let their control over their powers slip, well not really letting it slip. More like without knowing that their princess was alright they weren't able to focus enough to keep their powers under control.
Haruna didn't blame them.
Although it was a bit concerning to see Rei, who wasn't even her student but honestly she had seen the girl around Usagi enough times she might as well be, catch on fire randomly only for Ami to reach over with her hand and snuff out the flames without blinking.
Learning that Ami was the Sailor of Water helped a little bit in that regard but Haruna noticed that all of them were showing their powers a bit.
Makoto had lightning arching off of and through her skin every so often, Rei caught on fire randomly, Ami had her skin becoming wet and the air around her becoming heavier on and off, and Minako had a pink kind of aura around her that flickered in and out. Haruna was surprised and yet not surprised at all to realize that she had seen her students like this before at least once.
The others though…there was a wind rustling through Haruka's hair and occasionally around the others but all of the windows were closed, Michiru seemed to become rather wet as well but it was more like ice really (Haruna swore she saw the violinists hair turn to water at one point only to solidify the next second) as some of it solidified quickly and fell off in flakes and little Hotaru had a dark aura around her every few seconds. Haruna didn't want to know.
Again Setsuna was the calmest and most in control as she stared off into space, but every once in a while Haruna knew she saw something around the other woman distort and move before vanishing.
Haruna did not want to know.
"Remind me to give her a slap upside the head for scaring the hell out of me and not telling me this earlier…and to also hug her for protecting me and all the other stuff she's been through." Haruna said almost calmly to the other girls.
"Honestly if I didn't know you so well I'd throw you out the window for threatening her right now sensei." Makoto said and the fact that they were on the fifth floor wouldn't matter at all to the lightning user.
"No offense teach but why would she tell you?" Haruka asked raising an eyebrow at Haruna.
"There are quite a few timelines where Haruna-sensei either already knew somehow, found out somehow by accident, or was told by the princess herself near the start of everything. Most all of them have good endings in them and there are even a few where the princess never was interested in the Earth Prince at all thanks to the teacher. The only bad ones that don't end up good in the end is one where the princess dies saving Haruna-sensei in one of the earlier fights and Haruna-sensei turns out to be very dangerous when driven to that degree of helplessness, desperation, denial, fear, and anger…the other is where Haruna-sensei dies saving the princess during a fight and the princess goes off the deep end." Setsuna said without moving her gaze or her posture the slightest.
"Ouch. How's that last one end Sets?" Haruka asked with a wince while the oldest of the senshi had everyone's attention on her.
"Isn't it obvious?" Hotaru asked still coloring a picture for her Hime-mama.
"We all follow her into madness and despair without more than a few seconds thought, some of us not even that depending on when in the timeline that happens. Let's just say that Galaxia and the other enemies in that one had no clue just what they had provoked and what had hit them." Setsuna said with a dark chuckle that sent shivers down everyone's spines.
"So self-defense lessons for the teacher. Got it." Makoto said grimacing although she knew that she'd follow her princess into madness and destruction without a seconds thought.
"We start as soon as we know that Usagi will be okay." Haruna agreed pale faced. Setsuna's head snapped around and she pushed off of the wall all of a sudden as her entire focus was aimed at the doorway, startling the others and making them whirl around to the door.
"That's what I'm here to tell you about!" Ami's mother was there and she was smiling and relieved, something that had all of them relaxing a little bit.
"The princess is expected to be just fine after a few days rest, her back will have scars all over it however from the tree bark."
