AN: Okay, so it's a bit later than I wanted but Merry Christmas, ya'll. Anyway, let's get this thing rolling.

Chapter 10: Regulus' Tale

The group reappeared in a spacious living room with two comfortable looking couches facing a large fireplace. Large windows adorned the walls, letting in the afternoon sunlight, and to one side was a staircase heading to the second floor. Before any of them could do more than get their bearings, footsteps sounded from the upper story, accompanied by an odd clicking sound. Three wands and five guns were instantly raised in the direction, prepared for anything.

"Who's there?" a distinctly male voice called down. "Sirius? Petunia? Is that you?"

"Wait," the dog Animagus scowled, his wand lowering a fraction. "Regulus?"

A dark haired man appeared at the top of the stairs, leaning heavily on a large walking stick. Sirius let out a breathy laugh as he drank in the sight of his long lost younger brother. However, before he could take more than a step in his direction, he was bumped aside as a figure raced passed him. The teen in question, for it was indeed one of the children, easily jumped the banister and took the stairs two at a time, practically launching himself at the man. Regulus tried his best to brace for the impact, but due to his injury, ended up sat hard on the stairs as he caught the boy in his arms.

"Bàba," Wufei sobbed as he clung to the father he thought he'd lost with the destruction of the L5 colony.

"Shh, Wufei," indigo eyes closed as he held him close, "I've got you. It's alright now. I'm here."

"I thought you were dead," the former Shenlong pilot sniffed.

"I know, son," the arms around the teen tightened, "and for that I am sorry. But after I managed to escape the colony's explosion, I infiltrated White Fang. I couldn't risk sending a transmission to you. All I could do was help you accomplish your mission any way I could."

"Oh, bàba," the tears wouldn't stop falling as he buried his face in his father's shoulder.

"So," Duo's hesitant question broke the tension that had fallen over the room, as the reunion on the stairs continued for several minutes, "is that really Fei-Fei's dad?"

"Yeah, Danny," Sirius shook his head, his own tears streaming freely down his face. "That's my baby brother, Regulus, Fei's dad. Hey, Reg, you gonna come down here and see me or does Fei get you all to himself?"

"Alright, Sirius," the younger male rolled his eyes, finally releasing his son. "Come, my dragon, before your uncle does something stupid. Help me up."

"What's wrong, bàba?" the teen frowned, but did as he was asked.

"It's nothing to worry about," Regulus flashed him a reassuring smile. "I just took a piece of shrapnel to the knee as I was escaping Libra. It will heal, it's just a slow process, though with Severus here it should go a bit more quickly."

Wufei nodded and continued to help his father down the stairs. He refused to let go, even when they reached the ground floor. The pair were met halfway through the room by Sirius, who seemed to be too impatient to wait for their slow pace. The ex convict gathered his brother in his arms in a tight embrace. Regulus chuckled quietly at the other's antics but returned the hug readily, he had missed him after all.

As they finally pulled apart, the injured man's gaze fell on the rest of the group.

"I'm sorry if I startled you," he nodded toward the still visible weapons in a few hands. "I was not expecting company, as I'm sure you were…"

He trailed off as the indigo gaze fell on Harry, who had been maneuvered behind his brothers at the sign of a threat. His eyes did the familiar trek upward to the lightning bolt scar before shifting to the two teens in front of him.

"Wǒde mā ya!" he exclaimed softly, stepping away from the Animagus and staggered toward the triplets. "Sirius, how did you find them?"

"I didn't," Sirius shook his head as his brother gathered the now confused trio into his arms as best he could. "I told you two years ago that I had lost Danny, and apparently Moony lost track of Troy three years before that. No, it was the Muggles who found them, all of them. I don't know how this fucking happened."

"Look," the braided teen managed to extricate himself and his brothers from the man's arms, "its nice ta meet ya, Fei's dad, but just because you slept with our dad does not make us close."

"Daniel!" his aunt scolded.

"No, Petunia, it's okay," Regulus held up his hand. "It's been almost fifteen years, I'm sure they don't know the truth. So, why don't we sit, my knee is starting to bother me, and we can talk about this."

"Right," Sirius chuckled.

He wrapped his arm around the younger male's waist and guided him over to one of the couches. Wufei and Severus joined them on that couch, after the latter had conjured another so everyone could have a seat. Remus and Petunia sat on one with Dudley, while Trowa, Heero, Harry, and Hermione took the last. Duo and Quatre opted to sit on the floor in front of Trowa and Heero respectively.

"Okay," the braided teen clapped his hands together, "you said you'd explain, Fei's dad, explain."

"Of course," the younger Black shook his head. "I guess the best place to start would be when I was seventeen. In my adolescent foolishness, I made one of the biggest mistakes of my life, I joined a group of pureblood supremacists known as the Death Eaters. In a short amount of time, only a few months actually, I became disillusioned of their leader. With the help and encouragement of Sirius and Severus, I became a spy within their ranks, since getting out was not actually an option, save for death."

"Ookkay," Duo scowled. "I don't see how you joining a cult, and then deciding to turn traitor and spy, ended up with you screwing our dad and deciding you could be anything to the three of us aside from Wuffer's dad."

"I find it quite humorous," the Potions Master smirked, "that you are the one fighting this so much, Daniel."

"It's Duo," amethyst eyes narrowed slightly. "And why's that?"

"I will explain once Regulus finishes his tale," he shook his head.

"That sounds quite ominous, Severus," Regulus shot him a sidelong glance. "However, I shall continue. So, with my new position, I could not remain at my parents' house, because while they were not actually Death Eaters, they were avid supporters of the Dark Lord. Well, Sirius and Severus were gracious enough to let me stay with them. At the time, James and Lily were frequent visitors, there on almost a daily basis, even though they were newlyweds themselves. Over time, I got to know them and we became close. I may have developed a sort of infatuation with them."

"Infatuation?" his brother barked out a laugh. "You were full blown in love with them by two months in. And not subtly either. Some Slytherin you were."

"Yes," dark eyes rolled irritably, "which is why James and Lily noticed. And instead of doing the sensible thing of turning me away and letting the feelings die, they invited me to join them."

"So you're sayin' you had a kinky night with our parents and that's how you ended up knocked up with Fei-Fei?" Duo asked incredulously.

"Can we please not get that mental image?" Harry groaned quietly from behind him.

"No," Regulus shook his head. "That was actually quite awhile before I ended up pregnant. Apparently, Lily and James had developed feelings for me as well. Truthfully, the only reason we didn't marry was because of my status as a Death Eater. But I did move in with them and we were actually very happy, until everything happened."

"So wait," the former Deathscythe pilot held up his hand, "you're sayin' you had a legit threesome with our parents?"

"A threesome isn't legally recognized," Hermione interjected with a frown. "You wouldn't have been able to get married anyway. Even if you weren't a Death Eater."

"In the Wizarding world it is not, Hermione," Remus explained. "And while it is not common, it is not unheard of. So yes, Duo, to answer your question, they were in a legitimate triad."

"Damn," the braided teen slumped back against Trowa's legs.

A fond smile crossed the younger Black's face as he watched the triplets take in this new information. After a moment, he turned a calculating gaze on his brother-in-law.

"Severus, why did you find it so amusing that Duo was questioning this?"

"Because," the Potions Master shook his head, "even though you asked me not to, to satisfy my own curiosity, I ran a paternity test on the three of them shortly after they were born."

"James, Lily, and I all asked you not to do that," he scowled. "We didn't want to know. It didn't matter who they belonged to genetically, they were all our children."

"Be that as it may," Snape shrugged, "Lily knew I ran the test, and she also knew the truth."

"And what truth is that?" the unibanged teen's brow lowered in his version of a frown.

"The truth is," he shook his head, "that you and Harry are the sons of James Potter, while Daniel, Duo, is the son of Regulus Black."

"Nuh-uh," the self proclaimed Shinigami shook his head emphatically. "No way. Not possible. The Preventers ran our DNA and the three of us are full brothers, and Fei is our half brother."

"The Preventers are a Muggle organization," the Potions Master explained patiently, "as such, they are unfamiliar with same sex pregnancies. They probably wrote it off as a discrepancy or technical error, and came up with a plausible explanation for it."

"That would make sense," Heero nodded. "Non-magic users always rationalize away what they cannot explain. On top of that, multiple fathers in a multiple birth are rare."

"I suppose that would explain why you were always around," Petunia shook her head.

"Did Lily not tell you of our relationship?" Regulus frowned.

"No, she did not," she replied. "And I don't blame her. Back then I probably would've run straight back to Vernon if she had."

"In that case, I'm glad she didn't," he sighed tiredly. "Though, I want you to know that I would've used the entire Black fortune to save you from that fate if I could."

"I thank you for that, but it was my cross to bear," she smiled sadly. "Though, I am curious as to how you got in here. James said that no one could without my permission."

"Right," he chuckled slightly. "You probably don't remember, but shortly after the Fidelius was placed, James had you write it down and he sent it to me. The plan was for me to return here with Wufei, and they would join me after a time, and then we'd get the other children back. But… they were killed before I made it back, so I fled to the colonies, and only Sirius knew where I was."

"Well," Sirius clapped his hands together, "be that as it may, we're all here now, and together, and safe, and that's what matters, right?"

"You're right," his brother agreed. "Even though James and Lily are not with us, we are fulfilling their final wish: For all of us to be here together, with the children."

"So you risked everything to come here, bàba?" Wufei frowned up at his father. "The house could have been in ruins, and the charm could have fallen. There was no guarantee this would be a safe haven for you."

"Actually, I did know," Regulus shook his head. "I was here when James and Sirius were building it. While I couldn't help with anything due to my pregnancy, James would bring me along to get me away from Lily."

"That doesn't sound very good for your great fairy tale romance that you supposedly had with them," Duo challenged, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Don't get me wrong," he chuckled, "I loved Lily to death, but she became unbearable during my pregnancy, especially after you three were born."

"Oh, and why's that?" a brow rose over amethyst orbs.

"Well, after the three of you were born, all boys," he smiled, "she was convinced I had to have a girl. She would hear nothing against it. I had a feeling I was having a boy, but she wouldn't listen. She went out and bought dresses and accessories, and became quite insufferable. So James would take me with him when he could. But with that, I knew James and Sirius' spells would hold, and as for the Fidelius Charm, the way the spell works, which you know well, Wufei, and I'm disappointed you would forget, is that even if the Secret Keeper dies the spell transfers to anyone who knew the secret. So even if Petunia had passed, there were only a select few who would ever know the secret and I could trust all of them with my life. So, no, I know I would be perfectly safe here, so it is where I came."

"Duìbùqǐ, bàba," the former Shenlong pilot lowered his head in contrition.

"It's alright, my dragon," his expression softened as he pulled the teen into his arms. "You just need to remember your studies better."

"Shì de, bàba," Wufei nodded.

"Very well," he nodded as well. "Now," he turned his attention to the trio of brothers, "I know that this is a lot to take in, and I'm not expecting you to accept me."

"Yeah, no shit," the braided teen scoffed.

"All I'm asking," Regulus held up his hand to forestall any further comments, "is that you allow me the chance to get to know you, and discover the young men you have become."

Trowa, Duo, and Harry exchanged a long look before the former pair gave a noncommittal shrug. The raven, however, shook his head and pushed to his feet. He slowly made his way over to the injured male and came to a stop right in front of him.

"Look," he fidgeted slightly, "I can't speak for them," he motioned to his brothers, "I just met them yesterday. And in the past twenty four hours I have learned more shit than I ever wanted to know, and quite frankly, yours is the least shocking information I've had all day. So I don't mind getting to know you. I just, uh," he bit his lip, "do you think, um, can I call you dad?"

Ammie: Okay, so there it is. I will say this now, this fic is a guilty pleasure of mine and could so be considered a crack fic, but I'm enjoying writing it and that's what counts right? Oh, and please forgive me for the Mandarin use in the chapter, but I felt it was appropriate for what I used it for. If anything is wrong or misused, please let me know because I relied heavily on google for this. Anyway, please let me know what you think.
