Mermaid Festival of Love and Fun!
Cruz is seen working on the working on the field with some girls checking the crops looking good as they will be ready to get for just a few more weeks while getting some veggies that were already ready.
"Okay, I think that should be all of them." Cruz said.
"Thanks for your help, Cruz." One girl thanked.
"Yeah, sometimes its hard to tell which tomatoes are good or not yet." Another girl said.
"You're welcome, happy to help." Cruz smiled as he walks back to the house.
"ACHOO!" Charlotte sneezed loudly.
"Hey, would you careful when shaking that!" Charlotte yelled at Mamori from the second floor.
"I'm sorry!" Mamori apologized.
"Looks like Charlotte is having a little trouble with chores again." Cruz said as he went inside and made his way to Charlotte's bedroom.
"Hey, is everything okay in here?" Cruz asked.
"Well, this red hair girly just made my beautiful nose sneeze with the baby powder." Charlotte explained.
"I was just surprised when she taught me that you can this stuff on pillows before putting on the new pillowcase." Mamori added.
"Really? I didn't know that." Cruz surprised.
"The powder can help freshen the pillows making them smell good like changing a babies' diaper. My mother showed me this once or twice when I was a little girl." Charlotte mentioned.
"Uh, and I was worry that you would be complaining about doing chores again for the past three days, but it looks like you've been helping out well." Cruz commented.
"Well, of course, even I know the simple basic of cleaning up my own room." Charlotte huffed, looking away to hide her blush.
"(It looks like it won't be just me and Mirei having Cruz as our lover.)" Mamori thought chuckled.
"Hey, guys!" Momoko entered the scene.
"Meifeng is back with more stuff she brought back from Veste!" Momoko informed.
"Oh goody, let see what she brought this time!" Mamori excited.
Soon, everyone gathers to see the stuff Meifeng have brought as there are some new clothes, some jewels, magazines, and a bunch of can peaches.
"Ho, ho, ho! Behold, your out-of-season, genderbent Santa Claus' triumphant return!" Meifeng mimicked Santa's catchphrase as the girls get excited.
"You're a blessing as always, dear. Good to see you!" Torino hugged Meifeng into her breasts, being carefully this time not to suffocate her.
"Everything's okay though, right? You know, those Warter people, they aren't going to follow you again, are they?" Torino asked a little worry.
"Yep, it's all good! This time, I made sure to cover my tracks and Charlotte here said that it's all good!" Meifeng smirked at Charlotte.
"I still can't believe this thief has managed to get all this stuff here from the castle without getting caught, and I have no choice but to let this go on because of my suspension." Charlotte twitched her eyebrow and felt Cruz's hands on her shoulder.
"Come on, you should know by now how it's hard being out of the castle for most of the girls and living with them. So, maybe you do something like letting Meifeng and her partners keep taking some of this stuff here with no problem." Cruz stated calm and strongly.
"(Damn it, this boy and his kind spirit is like a hammer to my heart.)" Charlotte mentally gasped and blushing mad.
"Hey Cruz, look! It's a Guru-Neko!" Mamori called out holding a pink stuff cat toy.
"Huh, what's a Guru-Neko?" Meifeng asked.
"Have you never seen one before? Everybody thought he was the coolest thing ever back when I was a still little." Mamori said smiling excited, then turns to Mirei.
"Hey, did you just ask yourself if my growth wasn't stunted somehow?" Mamori asked, Mirei shook her head for no meaning she wasn't thinking that at all.
"Oh yeah, I remember you have a bunch of merchandise on Guru-Neko. You had the pillows, the slippers, posters, even the eraser-shape head on your pencils." Cruz remembered.
"Wow, who would have guess that Miss Little Virgin girl had such a thing for little kids' toys." Aoi joked.
"Hey! I keep telling you my name is TOKONOME!" Mamori yelled.
"So, this was your favorite you, then." Meifeng looked at the stuff cat.
"I think I remember having at least six of these in different colors like a rainbow." Charlotte recalled.
"Oh, you got the rainbow six Guru-Neko! I have those too!" Mamori said with happy sparkles in her eyes.
"Oh yeah, I remember being big on collecting every Guru-Neko stuff you can get your hands on. But wasn't there one Guru-Neko thing you couldn't get?" Aruka asked.
"Yeah, it was the huge plushie one that I could hug it with my whole body!" Mamori answered.
"Right, they had it for a raffle game, and you wasted your whole money as you couldn't win it at all then you got grounded for a month." Cruz laughed a little.
"Yeah, I kinda took my love Guru-Neko for granted, but it would still be nice to get one." Mamori sighed.
Charlotte saw the sad look in Mamori's eyes as she really wanted to have the plushie which is also a reminder of her home outside the island, letting out a sigh and walk up to Meifeng, asking her to come outside for a bit.
"Hey Meifeng, you and your partners can pull some strings in the Veste, right?" Charlotte asked.
"Oh, does miss pink princess want to go back to the castle to feel royalty again?" Meifeng mocked.
"Even if I wanted to ask you that, I believe Sir Arclight have already made dozens of plans to make sure I don't come back to my position. In fact, I think he might already know about your two partners." Charlotte stated.
"Wh-What? He does?!" Meifeng shivered in fear.
"I'm not entirely sure, he just has his way of knowing more than others even realizes it too late." Charlotte said, wondering in her mind what Arclight's true intention for the island.
"Anyway, it's actually something else. You know that the Mermaid Festival is coming soon." Charlotte reminded her.
"Totally, the books are filling up even faster than they did the last time. It's the biggest contest of the year, who wouldn't be excited about it." Meifeng excited, and then smirks.
"Including the long-awaited rematch between you and Lady J which everyone will obviously vote for her again and you'll be wincing like an angry baby when you lost last year." Meifeng brought up the memory causing Charlotte angry and a tick mark on her head.
"Shut up, you little shit! I didn't think Lady J would even enter the beauty pageant." Charlotte said.
"She wouldn't if you did say to the whole island that any can enter, no questions ask." Meifeng reminded, laughing a little.
"(She's right, I did say that.)" Charlotte thought, feeling regret about that.
"Looks, it just one simple thing I want you to do and that's it." Charlotte said and leans to Meifeng's ear which her eyes widen of shock.
(Meifeng and her Partners' Secret Hideout)
"WHAAAAAAAAT?!" A pair of female voices screamed.
"Charlotte actually asked a request for us!" One girl asked shock. She is Hyouko Yundou, a Warter Liberator with violet hair and dark blue eyes. Breasts sizes: D-cup.
"This isn't a joke or a threat!" The other girl asked worry. This is Futaba Kirii, a Warter Extar with long light brown hair and green eyes. She is also Hyouko's partner. Breasts sizes: F-cup.
"No sire she really has a request for us, and she said that we can keep doing our usually business more out in the open without any trouble at all. No getting arrested, no need for sneaking around, and she'll even pay us once her suspension is up." Meifeng nodded explaining.
"For real! That is very uncharacteristic of Charlotte." Hyouko surprised.
"Yep, and it's all thanks to this guy, right here!" Meifeng showed her cellphone with a picture of Cruz.
"Ever since he came to this island, things have been changing a whole lot better for everyone and I think he's even sorting up on Charlotte otherwise she wouldn't have said all that and more." Meifeng pointed out blushing a bit.
"Yeah, I think I'm going to like how things are going to turn out on this island now." Futaba smiled.
"Fuck yeah, I think Cruz might even help us live like Queens!" Hyouko cheered.
"Just what I was thinking!" Meifeng agreed.
"So, what does Charlotte want us to do?" Hyouko asked.
"Well, it's not really big or anything, just change the prize into something else and we're all set." Meifeng answered.
"Really, just that and nothing else?" Futaba asked.
"Yep, though she also asked for some kind of hairspray." Meifeng remembered what Charlotte said to her.
"Oh, and she also wanted to add a little something else to the Beauty Pageant." Meifeng smirked.
(The Next Day)
Meifeng is with Cruz, Mamori, Mirei, Aruka, Charlotte and Eva at the table talking about a certain subject.
"The Mermaid Festival, what's that?" Cruz asked.
"You four are still pretty new to this place, so I doubt you heard of it." Meifeng said.
"I almost forgot about that, the Mermaid Festival it's like the biggest party that the whole island celebrates!" Eva excited.
"Wow, a party!" Mamori amazed to hear that.
"Yep, we do food stands, competitions, all sorts of fun stuff." Meifeng added.
"Sounds like a blast, but is it really okay for us to come since it's being held at Veste?" Aruka asked.
"Eva already said that the whole island celebrates it, so of course, you all can come. For that time only every year, people from the town and the castle can all come together to have fun and not worry about the political stuff." Charlotte explained.
"And we even have a Beauty Pageant, it's like the main even of the whole party. Check it!" Meifeng showed the poster of the Beauty Pageant showing this year's prize.
"Whoa! Is that what I think it is?" Mamori asked shock, seeing a Guru-Neko doll on the poster.
"It sure is, I was surprise as you are. But yeah, I remember you saying you like this cat thing, so when I saw that it was your prize, I had to show you!" Meifeng explained and secretly wink at Charlotte who slightly nods in return.
"Huh, wait… is that me?" Cruz pointed at a picture of Cruz on the bottom left corner of the poster.
"Oh yeah, it would seem you're going to be the hoist of the Beauty Pageant." Meifeng mentioned.
"I'M GONNA WHAT?!" Cruz gasped.
"Really, I don't remember you being into that sort of thing." Aruka surprised.
"I think it would be cool, maybe you can do like a rockstar impression on stage." Eva advised pretending she's playing a guitar.
"But I never even host a contest before. What if I mess up?" Cruz worried then his face is cup by Mamori's hands turn his sight on her.
"Don't worry, I know you'll do great as a hoist." Mamori said before kissing him on the lips making him blush.
"Does that mean you're going to enter the contest for him?" Aruka teased.
"M-Maybe, but I don't think I stand a chance consider the only thing about me is how small I am." Mamori sighed.
"Don't underestimate yourself, you're great!" Mirei believed.
"She's right, you might not win the contest, but I think you could have fun in it." Cruz added.
"Aw, thanks you two." Mamori smiled.
"And Mirei, I think you should enter too." Mamori suggested.
"I don't know…" Mirei said nervous.
"I'm not so sure, we'll need to see first if she has what it takes to compete and I'm going to train her myself." Charlotte offered.
"But wouldn't that be helping the competition?" Eva asked.
"It'll only just to have her warmup, Meifeng can handle the rest." Charlotte explained.
"Hmm, I wonder if I should enter too?" Aruka asked herself.
"I believe this year's Mermaid festival is going to be awesome!" Meifeng excited.
Then the preparations have begun, Charlotte, Mirei and Mamori have been preparing themselves for the Mermaid festival with the huge help from Meifeng, Torino, Aruka, and Eva with the composure training and other beauty pageant stuff while Cruz is getting himself ready to be the hoist.
(Day of the Mermaid Festival)
The day has come for the Mermaid Festival is here, everyone from the small Torino Town and in the castle to come together for the funniest time of their life, Cruz is with Mamori and Mirei looking around with Aruka seeing everything around them is amazing.
"Hey Cruz, Mamori!" Nimi greeted.
"Hi Nimi, good to see you again!" Mamori smiled.
"How are you and Noe doing?" Cruz asked.
"Great, welcome to the Mermaid Festival!" Nimi welcomed her friends.
Nimi soon took the group to a food stand where she and Noe are doing together serving fried noodles that are super fire spicy that suggested because she loves spicy foods. When Cruz and the girls taste the red noodles, they're face turns red and sweating like pigs as Cruz screams in pain and somehow breathing fire.
They went to see some other stands like Saejima holding a fish catching game only she has eels instead of little fishes and catching them is very hard because the eels would break through little nets. Next they went to a haunted mansion stand where Aoi and Momoko are doing though they scared Mamori a little too much which makes Mirei angry, but Mamori is really happy that everyone is so nice and wish everyone from both sides could get along like this.
"Hey, Cruz!" Charlotte called out running up to them.
"Hi Charlotte, enjoying the festival?" Cruz asked.
"Yeah, but we have to go now! The Beauty Pageant is about to start soon, and you need to be up there at the hoist." Charlotte informed.
"I almost forgot!" Cruz panicked a little.
The scene changes to the stage of the Mermaid Beauty Pageant where a spotlight shines on Cruz standing on the stage wearing a black tuxedo and a microphone in his hand.
"H-Hello everyone, are you having super-duper fun in the festival?" Cruz asked and all the girls cheer loudly for yes.
"Okay then, this is my first time doing this but I'll give it my all. Now, let's begin the Mermaid Beauty Pageant!" Cruz announced as the crowd cheers.
"(He's doing so bad for the first timer.)" Meifeng thought commented while in disguise.
"Bring out the girls!" Cruz stepped off the spot and the contestants soon came.
First came Momoko and Aoi walking together: Aoi is wearing a simply yet pretty light blue dress and Momoko is wearing a black outfit with a skirt and her upper part revealing with black stripes barely covering her breasts.
Next came Lady J wearing a beautiful black and blue dress with her top cleavage showing for everyone to see and the left hip revealing. She gets lots and loud squeals from the crowd.
Charlotte step on the stage wearing a red sequined strapless dress that reveals a lot of cleavage with a low back, pink stilettos, elegant purple opera gloves, and gold stud earrings. And her hair is smooth and flowing. She gets the same amounts of squeals from the girls, maybe a bit more.
Much to Cruz's surprises, Aruka comes up wearing a one-piece skintight sleeveless blue unitard which clung to the upper half of her body but proceed in the style of a loin cloth along the hips. She also wore a tattered brownish-red cape along with large metal arm guards on both arms, and Knee length boots the same color as her dress.
"Better be careful or I might punish you." Aruka winked making at least five girls faint happily.
Then Mamori came on the stage a little nervous, but with a bright smile wearing a hazel-colored dress with her hair changed into a single ponytail and she's cuter with her cheeks blushing.
"(Wow, this is fun!)" Mamori thought as she can hear the crowd screaming for her.
Next up came Mirei wearing a beautiful white dress that shows her cleavage perfectly and a white ribbon tied to the back of her head. Then came some more lovely contestants.
"(Wow, they look so damn good even my sister. Come on, Cruz, calm yourself down!)" Cruz thought holding back his boner.
"OKAY EVERYONE! Weren't they all great? And now you must decide on which one is your favorite the most, so start costing your vote!" Cruz said.
Some time later after everyone made their votes and Cruz is handed with the notecard.
"Okay everyone, you made your decision and you're about to find out who is our Mermaid Queen this year." Cruz said and look closely at the notecard.
"And the winner is… Mirei Shikishima!" Cruz announced as everyone cheers loudly and the spotlights all shine on Mirei who is surprised.
"Congratulation, Mirei! You won everyone's heart, take in the moment." Cruz said while blushing and hands her the big Guru-Neko plushie.
Mirei smiles feeling proud to have won something she never did before and took a bow at the crowd, then she walks up to Mamori handing her the Guru-Neko plushie.
"Oh well, I guess I'll have to try my luck next year." Charlotte sighed.
"I'm surprise you didn't try cheating, I thought you would've have wanted win against me." Lady J said.
"True, I could've cheated and rigged the votes, but I didn't because well… I didn't to be hated by Cruz." Charlotte smiled looking at Cruz.
"Huh, you continue to surprise me more and more, Cruz Schild." Lady J chuckled as Rain in the crowd feels the same way.
"Thank you all for coming and hope you had a great of the Mermaid Festival!" Cruz cheered.

Hope you all enjoy this chapter being different then the "No Money, No Life" anime episode where two of Meifeng's partner did not fight each other and Charlotte decided to not cheat in the Beauty Pageant, I also made Charlotte dress up like Jessica Rabbit just for the fun. Cruz has sure help made a big and good difference since coming to the island with Aruka as his and his future harem's adventures continue!
