Recap of Chapter 9
Itachi waited until she was all the way up the steps to speak to the hot-headed blonde. "Do you remember the rules of living in this house?" Naruto knew this would be hell, but he would bear it all if only to be sure they never beat her as they once did him. He would try to distract them from their new toy. He knew them as well as they knew him after all.
Naruto cleared his throat, "How could I forget?"- "Hn." Naruto was curious, he had plenty of Dominants in this house. "So… Who's my teacher this time?" Itachi smirked, "I don't think Kakashi would forgive me if I handed you off to anyone else… Welcome back. Naruto."

Sakura wasn't sure what room Sasuke was in, so she wandered the hall opening each door, 'This house is even bigger than mine…' She notices one door that is cracked open. Pushing the oak door gently she opened it enough to know someone was laying in the bed.
Instantly she had regretted stepping foot in the door It was the white-haired man… his name was eluding her. She couldn't just walk out after she made eye contact with him, "Sorry. Wrong room." She started to back away when his gentle voice caught her attention. "Hold on a minute."
His voice suggested obedience however there was also the reason she walked in this door, to begin with. "I'd love to but, Itachi sent me to find Sasuke." Kakashi sat up revealing his naked torso to the emerald-eyed beauty, "Don't worry I'll take care of that. Besides, you're the last person who should walk into that room without Itachi or I present."
And so she stood there like an obedient dog. She kept recalling the events of this morning and how her disobedience got her into trouble. Truly, trouble was the last thing she wanted during her extended stay here. "Come, sit." He pointed to an upholstered victorian style gossip bench in the far corner of the room. Walking over to the said armchair she noted it had quite an unusual dark pattern, mostly a blood red with black pinwheels and thin circular lines…
Sitting down, she faced the man; after a moment she cleared her throat. "I forgot your name." He chuckled, "It's Kakashi but you can call me Kakashi Sensei." She squinted her eyes, "Sensei?"- "Yes. I wouldn't want you to gather a bad habit in class. Although some would say I should call myself Professor but I find that too formal."
'No way. He can't be…' In her shock, she threw a bit more attitude than she had meant. "You're the professor that's replacing Shizune-sama!?" He yawned, stretching his arms above his head. "Only for a year or two. I agreed to fill in while she pursues a career in the United States… Hand me that robe, would you? He pointed to the bathroom door to his right.
Standing up, she took her time in getting it for him. Trying not to get close to him, she stretched her arm across the bed and gave it to him, turning on her heel she marched straight back to her chair. And that was when Itachi barged in. "Sakura. Come here. Now." She sat there frozen with fear, was she in trouble?
Kakashi stood in her place. Fastening the belt to his loose robe, leaving a delicious v-cut all the way down to his mid stomach. Itachi couldn't resist a glance at Kakashi's six-pack, "Relax Itachi, she was looking for Sasuke when I made her come in here."- "Is that supposed to excuse her?"
Sakura was looking to Kakashi in the hopes that his promise earlier would not have been for nothing… "Well, I only got her to listen because I promised she wouldn't be in any trouble. You know how I feel about breaking my promise's Itachi…" Itachi huffed, "Come on, let's go." Jumping to her feet she whispered to Kakashi as she passed him, "Thank you…" He simply nodded.
Itachi led her further down the hall stopping in front of the room she assumed Sasuke was in. That was when Itachi did the oddest thing he swung the door open and closed it just as fast. She was left puzzled for only a second. She understood when she heard the sound of a glass shattering against the door. In his deep voice, Itachi spoke. "Watch your step."

Kakashi had performed enough at-home procedures to know he didn't want to be upstairs when those two started on fixing Sasuke. He walked his way to the kitchen only to find Naruto sulking with a bottle of Junmai Sake in hand. "Don't you have a club to run tomorrow?" Naruto in all his sass retorted, "Well lucky for me I work nights." Kakashi knew the boy well enough to know that he was planning on getting drunk.
Grabbing a glass of ice water Kakashi snatched the wine from Naruto and switched the two out. "Do you really think Sasuke is going to handle the dayshift half in his condition?" Naruto didn't argue, Sasuke's screams caused the blonde to look up towards the ceiling. "Nope, I guess not."
Kakashi didn't even flinch at the sounds the young Uchiha was making. Naruto looked to the ceiling for a moment, 'Serves him right, that bastard.' The blonde shifted his gaze, fixing it on the white-haired man. Naruto didn't know if he wanted to kiss him or hit him… 'Maybe both?' - "So… Kakashi-sensei. When I leave to cover Sasuke's shift what happens to her?"
Kakashi's lips upturned in that sexy smirk that gave Naruto goosebumps, it brought back good memories… Memories that followed with the shadows of bad ones too. The ones that made Naruto leave in the first place. - "I haven't the faintest idea, that isn't my decision. That's Itachi's."
Naruto stared into Kakashi's eyes, searching, and hoping that some part of the man would take pity on the girl and help her. "Please Kakashi-sensei." Kakashi's smirk faded away and he sighed, "I will do what I can." Naruto studied him for a moment, deciding that was all he was going to get.
Naruto stood, "Where did you put my shoes, keys, and phone?" Kakashi huffed, "By the door." Naruto didn't give that a response - "You're going to work in sweatpants and a t-shirt?" Gathering his things, Naruto didn't respond to that either and opened the door - "I thought the Hidden Lotus had standards." - SLAM
Naruto got in his trusty GR Supra and was determined to get to work as quickly as possible. Weaving through traffic as much as possible he recklessly pulled out his phone and hit the speed dial. He would only need to be there for a few hours, "Hinata, I need you to come in early." the busty raven haired girl yawned out his name, "Is everything…" - yawn - "Is everything alright?"
He felt bad that he had woken her and sighed, "I'll explain when you get here." She yawned yet again, he thought how cute she sounded when she was sleepy, "Yes, okay. Naruto-kun." Naruto hesitated, She always spoke to him so affectionately, even though he was probably the worst boss she could have asked for. "Thank you, Hinata...chan." - Click.
Just then Naruto pulled up to the valet circle, got out, and quickly threw his keys to one of the drivers, "Don't scratch it." The three young valet drivers looked at him bewildered.
There was no doubt the sparkling burnt-autumn orange-colored sports car belonged to the co-owner of the Club. But no one had ever seen him show up without his black and orange suits… Naruto hurried through the door, passing about a dozen people as they cleaned or were restocking the liquor.
Finally, he made it to the First Shift's Manager Office and Opened the door. The redheaded manager had her back to the door but was quick to turn around once she heard it open, "Sasuke-kun!" she turned around as quickly as possible - "You're here final…" she paused when she saw it was in fact Naruto instead.
Her cheeks flushed and she stuttered, "Oh, um Naruto. Where's Sasuke at?" Naruto lifted a brow silently judging the girl. He cleared his throat, "Sasuke will be absent for a while." She looked concerned for a moment, it was no secret the young Uchiha liked to party but work always came first for him, it was not like him. "Why? Is he alright?"
Naruto sighed, he didn't have time for this. He needed to get back to sakura. "He'll be fine." he paused knowing that that came out with an attitude. Regaining some form of composure he continued. "I need you to gather everything that Sasuke and I would normally need to sign off on." she nodded her head. "Get that to me as soon as possible, I need to leave soon." she stuttered again, "O-okay, but um-" he cut her off.
"Hinata should be here shortly, you and she will be getting some overtime for the next few weeks. Hinata is the senior manager and if there is a dispute she will have the final say. If you think it is important enough you can call me. Your normal duties will be split, you Karin will manage both your staff and Hinata's keeping them in order. Hinata will handle your operational duties and her own. Understand?"
"Yes, I understand… But… Why is Sasuke-kun going to be gone for weeks? Did he get hurt?" Naruto knew she wouldn't let this go, she was too obsessed with him - "Karin, everything will be fine. He's just not feeling very well. I'm sure you will hear from him in a few days." He could tell that didn't really help.
"Anyhow Karin, I need you and Hinata to get along. Sasuke needs to know that there will be nothing to worry about while he's gone, ya know?" He gave her a gentle smile. Hoping they could avoid the drama they dealt with the last time. Her eyes lit up 'Anything for my Sasuke-kun' - "I know okay! I promised Sasuke that wouldn't happen again okay!"
Naruto sighed and scratched his head. "I want those papers in my office, have Hinata bring them when she gets here." - "S-sure thing…" He shook his head after closing her door behind him. 'That girl is crazy…' He thought about the last time one of them was out…
Naruto had taken a vacation last year and Sasuke nearly killed him when he got back. All because he had to deal with a crying Hinata and a fuming and bitchy Karin. Something about Hinata trying to steal Sasuke from her. Anyhow it was a total nightmare. He needed to know this business was going to be fine while he was dealing with Sakura's predicament…
Naruto arrived in his office and sat down, logging into his computer. He was distracted, thinking about work and the pink-et. He wasn't planning to be absent from work but he also wasn't planning on doing his normal shift either…
Sasuke and Naruto did more than just paperwork… they took turns through the night promoting the club with not only their appearances but inviting celebrity/rich friends of theirs too. Naruto decided he was going to have to make a few calls.
First, he needed to find a replacement for Sasuke, the darkness to his light… That was what was so great about them running this club together. They had the most diverse types of people in the club every night, solely because they were opposites when it came to getting a party started. "Now who is moody, and too cool for you to sort a guy that I could call… yeah that's it!"
Naruto called the first person he could think of, "Hello?" The man's voice was a deep, tired sounding octave, as usual, maybe a slight hint of irritation, "Gaara, hey buddy how's it going!?" - "Only you could be this excited at ten in the morning…" Naruto chuckled nervously, "Oh you know me, I'm full of energy! I heard you were in town filming a new movie? Tamari sure keeps you busy, am I right?"
"What do you want Naruto…" said the blonde gulped, "Remember that favor you owe Sasuke?" - "What of it?" - "Well uh, he needs to cash in on it…" there was a long pause before Gaara spoke, "What does he need?" - 'HA! One down and one to go!' - "We need you to make an appearance at the club, just for two weekends in a row… Sasuke can't be there otherwise he wouldn't ask."
"He's lucky I owed him one…" - "Thank you Gaara! Make sure you post it on your social media stuff, ya know?" - "Email me and copy Tamari and Konkuro." - Click
Next, he had to think about it, who could possibly compete with the amount of energy he brought to the table? He sat there thinking about who could possibly be well known enough and similar to him to attract massive amounts of club-goers… he couldn't think of anyone…
Naruto lifted his head from his hands when he heard the door open. And watched as Hinata was struggling to hold open the door and walk through it. She had a mountain of papers in her arms. Quickly Naruto made his way over to her and grabbed the door. "N-Naruto-Kun! T-thank you very much!"
She quickly sat the papers on his desk, "Hinata, thank you for coming in. I'm afraid you're going to be working longer hours for the next month or so…" she tilted her head as if she was surprised he would feel bad, "Oh! No please, I'm happy to help!" She smiled that beautiful smile.
"Please, let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with." she bowed and was about to start walking away. Naruto stared at the young girl, noting how her hair looked much longer than he remembered… truly he didn't know the girl as well as he ought to.
She was always eager to please him even when she didn't need to. He had never given her much thought until maybe after Sasuke and he had broken up… That was when he started to notice her and noticed that she liked him. He tried to think of how long she had actually paid attention to him like this...
She was someone he considered a friend. Someone he relied on often upon, she was always nurturing towards him and in a way, he really liked that about her. She was different from everyone else that surrounded him. 'Maybe she can help...'
"Hinata-chan" - she started to blush, 'He's been saying my name like that more often lately… does he realize my feelings for him?' - "Y-yes Naruto-Kun?" - "I am trying to think of someone who is well known in this area and is similar to me… Tell me can you think of someone who reminds you of me?"
He smiled at her amused, "Eh?" he took note of how red she turned, like a tomato. He had a weird sensation and it made him want to keep teasing her…
She couldn't think, 'Someone that reminds me… of Naruto-kun?' she noticed how his smile turned into a smirk, his big blue eyes seemingly innocent yet looked as if he knew a secret… she breath caught in her chest as he grabbed her hands easily covering them with his bigger ones. He pulled her closer to him forcing her to take a step closer to him.
She was angled down hovering above him and only a foot or so away from his face… She could feel his breath she gasped and then looked away from him quickly, turning her head to the left. Naruto's smirk was huge, 'She really does like me.' he played koi and whispered in a seductive way, "Hinata-chan…"
Hearing her name she flinched slightly, still refusing to look at him. He used one of his hands and cupped the left side of her face with it. She stopped breathing. She couldn't believe he was showing her affection. 'Wh-why is he, why would he…' pulling her to look at him he spoke softly, "If you can't help me find someone similar to me, I don't think anyone could help me…" he gave her the most exaggerated sad and disappointed eyes he could muster up.
She jerked away and turned around, Naruto wasn't expecting that and was mildly surprised, 'Did I take that too far?' she held her arms, clutching herself and finally spoke, "K-Kiba… Kiba is as loud as you… and hardheaded… and…" she gulped, "A-and Obito… Obito is funny and kind…"
Naruto actually thought those were good choices… he didn't dare tease her any further. He actually felt a bit bad about it. "Thank you, Hinata-chan." she didn't say anything for a moment, "I um, I'll be back to grab those papers in a bit!"
She stormed out of the office and Naruto's fun was over. He needed to get to work anyhow, He called Kiba and sure enough, the professional dare-devil dirt biker himself was more than happy to throw down for the other two weekends.
And with that Naruto would finish up the paperwork in an hour. He called Hinata so that she could come to fetch the paperwork and had put the two promoters in the system for their advertising and scheduling. He would leave before Hinata grabbed the paperwork, in a hurry to get to his home. He needed to grab a few things before going back to the den of the Uchiha brothers…

Well, Sasuke was sedated by Itachi, he had come to the conclusion that it was likely an olecranon fracture. He had Sakura assist him with splinting Sasuke's arm until the morning. Itachi would take him to the hospital and have an x-ray done.
Itachi recalled what had happened earlier that morning. She didn't regret hurting Sasuke at that moment, but he could tell even now as she sat on the bed sulking that she felt bad. To be fair, they had trapped her into a corner, and like every scared animal, she chose between flight or fight. Or in her case Fight and then flight. She chose to survive, and he couldn't blame her for that.
That didn't make him any less angry with her for hurting his Ototo, though it did calculate into her punishment. Fear, he would make her fearful wonder what horrid punishment would come. Every passing moment he chose not to say or do anything in response to what she did would make her fearful. He would leave her on the edge for a week.
"He should be out for the rest of the day." she nodded. Getting up with him she started to help Itachi clear off the medical supplies sprawled out on the elder Uchiha's bed. Itachi was ignoring her, she knew it. He wouldn't look at her, and that made her nervous. She wanted him to yell at her, hit her, or do something.
His doing nothing was making her head spin. She was playing the what-if game with herself, slowly making her more and more paranoid… She started to follow Itachi out of his room before his voice halted her, "Stay." She did as she was told and waited, like a good girl…
She wondered what he was doing and what could be taking so long. It had to have been at least five minutes. She was pacing, fretting about what he was going to do to her… 'What did I get myself into? This whole thing is a mess… I want to escape from this place. But how?'

Kakashi was cooking himself breakfast when Itachi walked into the kitchen. "So, how's the kid?" Itachi didn't respond right away, instead, he brushed up near Kakashi in order to grab a cup from the cupboard. He walked over to the sink and started to fill it with water. Finally, the elder Uchiha spoke.
"He will probably need a tension band wire at the least." Kakashi was trying to feel him out, and the Uchiha knew it. "She really did a number on him didn't she?" Itachi was glaring at the back of the older males' head, "No thanks to you."
Itachi turned off the stove, his eggs were finally done. He finished putting it on his plate, before he turned to face Itachi, "Oh I'm sure he'll be fine." Itachi closed his eyes, not making any indication to the normal eye that he was beyond pissed. Kakashi's eyes were not normal though.
"An interesting young girl, isn't she?" Itachi said nothing, "I think she will be more talented than Lady Tsunade herself. Maybe even more skilled than you or I, if you still plan to mentor her that is." Itachi still planned to train her, she was a genius, just like him. Itachi opened his eyes to meet Kakashi's fake enthusiastic face. "Tell me, what do you know about that girl's lineage?"
Kakashi took a bit of his food before diving into that subject, "Her parents were nothing special. They were detectives on the police force. She was 3 years old when they died in front of her." Itachi was surprised, he hadn't realized she witnessed their deaths… Orochimaru was the terrorist behind that and many other offenses, including the death of his own parents.
Yes, they indeed had more in common than he had realized before, and more than she could know. She was a fighter and a skilled medic. He saw a bit of himself in her. "The father died on-site, the mother was being kept alive by Sakura. Her little hands were pressed into her mother's stomach, trying to stop the bleeding."
"Tsunade was the acting pediatrician that night at the ER, I assisted in reviving the mother when she arrived on site." Itachi looked at Kakashi, his anger was gone for the moment. "Does a three-year-old remember something like that?"
"I doubt it. Too traumatic, if she does remember all of that then she's probably more like you then you'd care to imagine." it unnerved Itachi when Kakashi could read him like that. "Hn. Yes, you're probably right." Kakashi finished his plate and slapped Itachi on the back, "Just go easy on the girl, will you?" - "Not likely." - "huh, oh well. I suppose it can't be helped.
Kakashi was going to walk upstairs but stubbed his toe on her bags, "Ugh!" Itachi scoffed at the man, "Are those her bags!?" Itachi nodded. And with that Kakashi grabbed the two bags and walked up the stairs. Itachi was trailing closely behind the older male. Holding the water he had gotten for Sasuke.
Finally, Sakura heard footsteps, two sets actually. She heard the first pair pass the room and the second one stopped in front of the door. Itachi entered and ignored Sakura's presence, setting the water on the nightstand next to Sasuke's good arm.
Itachi turned around again and could feel her eyes on him, pleading. He started to walk out his door again and paused, finally looking at the poor girl, "Follow me." She was quick to do as she was told, and yet was also worried, where was he leading her?
Itachi opened the room next to his own, "Your things are in here." he opened the door walking into the room. Sakura followed closely behind. There was a king sized bed, a writing desk, nightstands, dresser, closet, and bathroom. She noticed her bags were on the bed.
"Make yourself at home, this will be your room." she nodded and walked around taking everything in. Itachi watched her as she slowly realized this was her reality now. "You will stay here until I come and get you. Do you understand?" again she gave him a simple nod, but he wanted a response. And she would learn to give him one.
He approached her with a menacing aura and she was frightened. Backing up slowly until her back reached the wall. Itachi pinned her staring down at her smaller frame. With one arm by her head, the other grabbed her face, turning her head to one side.
His breath tickled her neck, gave her goosebumps, and caused her to inhale sharply, "Do. you. Understand me?" she gulped, and when she didn't respond right away he let his teeth graze the spot between her neck and shoulder and then started to kiss her milky, soft skin.
He felt her shutter and it turned him on, he placed a leg between both of hers and pressed. His hands started to roam her body, pressing himself even closer to her. She felt him get hard against her and finally, she managed to speak, "y-yes sir"
He stopped, pulling away from her entirely. "Good girl." She was frozen, she hadn't moved a muscle. He made it out of her room, closing the door behind him, and still, she remained at the spot. 'Kami...Why did that turn me on?'
