In Winter's Turning, Winter says that the Icewings would rule the world if the Nightwings hadn't stolen their animus. We thought that we should explore this topic more and so without further ado, may we present to you The Icewing Empire!

Her thoughts jumbled together. She had been sleeping, and then something large and tan landed on her. She scrambled away and the strange dragonet thudded to the floor, looking disgruntled after landing on an invisible dragonet who disappeared shortly afterward. She watched as the new dragonet got peppered with questions from Rainbow, who she was surprised to see here.

The fainting dragon woke up and looked at him, but seeing him was too much for the new dragon and he fainted. She watched as the hybrid (she should probably learn his name, this was getting tiresome) and Rainbow poked and prodded the new dragonet, talking to each other. She couldn't believe that some dragonets actually ENJOYED socializing or being in the same room as other dragonets.

She curled up, letting herself fall back into a deep slumber, dreaming of being alone in a cave with a fire and a scroll.
