Hello, everyone. Your girl's back to update another chapter for you all. Legosi and Bill will fight after the former finds out about the latter's secret weapon of calming himself down. Hopefully, you guys will like this chapter. I don't own the canon characters as they rightfully belong to their owners while I only own my OCS.
Warning: This chapter will some blood and brutal fighting it.
Els set in front of her mirror in the girls' dressing room as she felt ready for the play. She really was exacted for Bill of becoming the star of the play while Louis was recovering. It was nice that Louis of giving Bill the chance to have the lead role despite Bill being a carnivore. The little goat hopes that the audience will accept Bill and cheer for him once the play is over.
"Els-chan, the play is almost ready. Are you all set to go?" Shelia asks the goat girl.
"Yeah, I'm ready, Shelia-san," Els said as she got up from her seat to get ready to start the play.
Quietly, she prayed for the play to be successful and for Bill to have the strength as he's carrying the play on his shoulders. She overheard him talking to other carnivores about how this is his chance to shine and show the world just proud he is to be a tiger in this world.
"Even though he acts like he has confidence, I know that deep down he's afraid of messing up. But I know he can do it as long we support him," Els thought as she and the others were waiting for the signal for them to start.
Legosi, meanwhile, was sitting down as he practices his lines for the last time. He was still unsure if he could do this, but Els had asked him to support Bill in any way he can. The gentle wolf couldn't deny her that, owning her that much for hurting her. Unlike the others, he wasn't wearing his costume since his part won't come for a while in the play.
"'I found you'" Legosi said to himself as he read his lines from the scrip in his hands.
It was then, Bill had finally come out of the dressing room with his red costume on his person. The tiger had just had a conversation with Louis on the way here. They talked about the duty and curse of the character Adler. Louis telling Bill if the latter is crushed by Adler's curse, the tiger will suffer more than a merely broken leg. The deer even told Bill how Legosi annoyed him as he finds the fact that the gentle wolf hides his true strength from everyone to be insulting to him.
"Bill, did you sleep well? Are you ready?" Sanu asks the strong tiger.
"Yeah, thanks, Sanu," Bill said, feeling confident in himself.
However, it was then that Legosi soon picks up a very strange but familiar scent coming from Bill. Legosi quickly walks over to Bill to see what the tiger had on him. It smelled so familiar to Legosi. Like he knew the scent but he couldn't figure it at first. However, once he got up close to Bill's personal space, the kind wolf knew immediately what was the scent.
"Hey! What's with you today, Legosi?" Bill asks as the wolf kept sniffing at him for some reason.
"Bill..." Legosi said as his eyes harden as he looks at the tiger, "You..."
"I need to go the bathroom!" Bill said as he quickly runs while he realizes that Legosi might have figured out his secret weapon.
"I'm going as well!" Legosi said as he follows Bill to the restroom.
Sanu and Dom warned them that the play will start soon and told both carnivores to finish quickly. Legosi needed to confront Bill on the sin he had committed. Anger fueled Legosi's entire being as he followed Bill to the restroom and wanted to know why he did it while knowing there will be consequences for his actions if word gets out.
Boys' restroom
"Seriously? You followed me all the way here. What do you have feelings for me?" Bill said as he looks at Legosi with confusedness once they were alone.
"Bill... What do you have on you?" Legosi demanded as he wanted to know if he was right about the scent while he was walking close to the tiger.
Bill chuckles a little as he knew that he should have figured that a wolf like Legosi would easily pick up the scent of his secret weapon.
"Figures a wolf with a nose like yours would pick its scent up sooner I than thought," Bill said as he took out what he was hiding from the rest of the Drama club.
The strong tiger held out a small glass bottle with red liquid in it. However, Legosi had immediately recognized its scent and knew what was truly was.
"That's..." Legosi stated but couldn't finish his own sentence.
"Goat's blood? Yeah. Don't worry, it's not from Els-chan or one of the goat students here. One of the older punks had given it to me. I keep it just in case I actually need it. Looks like today's the day I need it," Bill said as he put his bottle back under his costume.
Legosi felt his anger reaching its breaking point. Bill had gone and drank the blood of a goat while Els had offered to give him her support for his lead role, and yet the tiger repaid her kindness by drinking the blood of her species. Legosi won't ever forgive Bill for his unforgiven actions of betraying Els. The gentle wolf placed an image of the tiny goat in a meadow of flowers while she sweetly caresses them.
"So, you kind of have to understand my reasons of..." Bill stated but he didn't finish his sentence as Legosi then leaped on him, pushing the tiger against the window of the restroom.
Both Legosi and Bill had each grabbed the other's hands to keep the other from gaining the upper hand on him. Legosi stares at Bill as hatred began to unfold in the wolf's heart. He will never understand Bill's reasons for drinking blood from a helpless animal. Bill kind of laugh a little from Legosi's reaction from hearing that he drinks goat's blood. It's rare to see the gentle wolf get riled up like this and bearing his teeth at someone. This makes the tiger wonder if the wolf had done something similar once. Or if this is something more.
"Hey, take it easy. Hear me out, Legosi. For you, it's easy to live in the shadows and hide the natural gifts we carnivores are born with. But unlike you, I want to show this world the strength of a carnivore and become an adult in this society, not sucking up to the herbivores! Me drinking this blood is justified!" Bill said to Legosi. However, he wasn't quite finished with his talk with the wolf.
"Although I know you'll hate me for doing this, Legosi, I never thought you end up being this angry. I wonder if this has something to do with Els-chan," Bill said with a smirk on his face.
This causes Legosi to nearly hit Bill, who managed to dodge it and threw Legosi against the window. Bill had noticed that Legosi has been staring at Els since after the murder of Tem. The wolf even began to become flustered around the goat girl whenever they were interacting with each other. Els even began to do the same as she would look over to where Legosi was at.
"Don't tell me actually like her, Legosi? Are you upsets that I'm practically drinking her, huh?" Bill asks in a somehow mischievous tone before he got serious.
"Just accept what you are, Legosi, and you might make her stand by your side," The tiger said before he left the restroom.
Legosi stood there as he thought about what Bill told him. Just accept what he is in this world and make Els stand by his side. Remembering what Louis told to take responsibilities for his own strength as well remembering Els' bandaged arm.
"Bill's right. I have no right to hate him after what I nearly did Els-chan. I won't run away anymore... for her," Legosi thought as he panted hard.
Auditorium room
The play was going smoothly. In the beginning, Bill was nervous since sweat could be seen where Els was standing even with that mask he was wearing. Nevertheless, Bill kept going. Els was glad that Bill remains strong even when he was scared. Els was happy for the strong tiger, but was worried about him on stage, even wishing that the other students go see how Bill is just doing his best instead of whispering themselves of where Louis is at. The goat girl couldn't wait to watch Legosi do his part as well.
"I'm worried about Bill out there," Els said to both Shelia and Sanu, speaking her concernedness for the strong tiger.
"Yeah, I think he's doing great," The beautiful cheetah said to her.
Els could hear some of the students say that Bill's acting is nothing like Louis or that the deer is better than a carnivore taking his place on stage. Els clench her hands tightly. So what Bill isn't as skilled as Louis. The tiger is still trying his best and she loves watching him.
However, her thoughts were soon interrupted by footsteps coming towards her and the other two. Turning around, Els saw Legosi in his costume. She blushes when she notices that his shirt was unbuttoned. She could see that Legosi was muscular thanks to his chest being exposed. Legosi was barefoot as well, making Els' heart skip a beat as the gentle wolf came closer to the light.
"There you are, Legosi. I was wondering whe..," Sanu said as the wolf walks past him.
"Legosi?" Els said worriedly as she felt something off about him.
Hearing her voice, Legosi turns to give a simple smile to Els. He then returns his glace to Bill.
"Bill, if you truly believe that drinking the blood of a goat is justified, then show me your strength," Legosi said in his mind as he came out to the light.
"You must be the last demon that has come to fight me," Bill said in his lines.
"I will destroy every part of you," Legosi thought.
Letting his anger getting the best of him, Legosi then runs towards Bill as he dropped his sword and his cape fell off before anyone knew what was coming. Jumping on the tiger, the now angry wolf soon punches Bill on the face, making him fall over to his back while everyone else was watching what unfolding on stage. Els gaps in horror as she placed her hand over her mouth upon seeing Legosi's actions. The normally kind wolf never be this angry and he would never hurt anyone.
The Legosi that Els knew was a kind and gentle wolf. Something is wrong with her class.
The punch was strong that it made the glass battle that Bill had hidden fall out of the costume and rolling over to Louis' feet. Getting up, Bill felt the anger Legosi was falling from the punch.
"Are you crazy, Legosi?" Bill asks the wolf as quietly as possible as to not break character.
However, Legosi wasn't having it, and jump on Bill once more. He'll never forgive the tiger for breaking Els' trust like this.
"I will never forgive you!" Legosi said in a quiet voice as he began to punch Bill several times.
"We have to stop this!" Els said as she tried to run the two carnivores, but Sheila held her back from going stepping stage.
"Els-chan, don't! It's a bad idea to try to get between two carnivores when they're fighting," Shelia said as she held onto the goat's shoulders from coming the latter from running to Legosi and Bill.
"But Legosi could hurt Bill if he keeps punching him," Els said as she tried to break free from the cheetah's grape on her.
Legosi continued to punch Bill more times than anyone could count, leaving a black eye on his left eye and some bruises. The angry wolf began to pictured Els in his head. Smiling and picking flowers without a care in the world, but remembering he had hurt her. She supported Bill on his new role, but he went and drank of the blood of her species, even trying to justify it. Legosi let out a cry as he kept punching Bill in the face as everyone else only watches, wondering if this is part of the play.
"Damn, the audience is actually drawn by this. Who knew that what it took," Bill thought as Legosi kept punching his face.
The wolf boy continued to punch the tiger until the latter finally caught the former's fist in his hand.
"That's enough, Legosi," Bill said quietly as he held Legosi's fist tightly before he got up and grab the other hand.
"Are you trying to punish me for what I did? Do you think you're a better carnivore than me? Well, let me tell you something, Legosi... You're not," Bill said before he swings Legosi around and locked the wolf boy in his arms with the former's claws on the latter's back while his was facing the audience so no one will see what he'll do next.
"Have you smell the blood of a goat before, Legosi? Was it your prey? Did you killed it?" Bill asks as he kept his grip on the wolf boy tight.
The tiger boy's claws began to sink clawed deep on Legosi's back. Legosi, meanwhile, thought of Els and her sweet smile in his head. Bill has now suspected that Legosi had given in to his carnivore instincts once, causing the wolf to committed an unforgiven act.
"I..." Legosi stated, but no other words came out of his mouth.
"Please be silent! After all, we're no different from each other as we both have blood on our hands!" Bill said to both the audience with his lines, and to Legosi that the two of them are no different.
Bill then began to scratch Legosi's back with his sharp claws, making a large, bloody mark that will forever be a scare of on this very night. Legosi's blood soon fell on the stage floor, staining the beautiful stage with the blood of a cursed carnivore like Legosi.
"Don't challenge me again, Legosi. These striped marks that I'm leaving, are the proof of our new friendship," Bill whispers to Legosi.
"My blood is dripping from my back, is the same as Bill's. This is the cursed blood of a carnivore. The very same blood that haunted me all my life. I've always struggled with the blood that runs through my veins," Legosi said in his mind as he felt woozy all of sudden.
"Legosi..." Els said as she stopped trying to break from Shelia's grip on her.
The goat girl could see that the small blood coming from Legosi's back. He was hurting while she was doing nothing to stop this fight. Her friend needed medical treatment now, but no one wanted to end just stupid play and let it continued while a student needed help.
"Was the goat Els?" Bill asks seriously.
Legosi didn't say anything, but his silence was enough for the tiger boy to answer his question.
"Did she let you drink out of her? Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about you and her," Bill said as he let the wolf boy go.
"Just fall down, and the play will be back on track," The tiger boy said.
And with that, Legosi fell on the floor. His back hurt while he could feel his blood getting his costume stain by it. The wolf boy wonders what Els was thinking of him right now after watching punching Bill like a berserk animal. She was no doubt terrified of him again after seeing him like that.
"I'm probably a monster to her, like before. Even if I'm trying to fight for her honor," Legosi thought.
"Sad little wolf... Surrender to your fate now," Bill said as he continued his lines.
Bill then walks closely to Legosi in a quiet tone, "I'm the hero of this story. So, let me finish you," He said as he placed his foot on Legosi's chest, causing the wolf to gasp for breath.
Bill soon raises his sword up in the air, ready to finish the blow to Legosi's character. Everyone in both the audience and the other members of the Drama club watch with tenses as the tiger boy then aimed at the wolf.
However, another sword came in connect with Bill's, causing it to fly into the air and fall on the ground. Everyone was shocked to see that it was Louis the Red deer had entered the stage. But the audience cheered once Louis had finally shown up again.
"You were having too much fun," Louis said to Bill before putting his mask back on, "But unfortunately, you'll have to play the role of a villain now."
"I know who you truly are, imposter," Louis said as he aimed his sword at Bill, who dodged it.
However, both Legosi and Bill knew that Louis had likely known why they were fighting during the play. Legosi, slowly but painfully, set up in awestruck as he watches Louis taking care of Bill now on his own.
The audience cheer as Louis and Bill began to circle each other, which Louis stood next to Legosi.
"I will show you who is the true Reaper," The Red deer said before speaking to the injured wolf right next to him.
"Legosi, let me handle this now. Don't let the audience see your back," The deer boy said as he walks closer to Bill.
"Leave this place if you're not ready to fight me. I know... the sins you've committed," Louis said, refereeing the bottle that fell near him.
"Why don't you drink my blood as well," Louis said, now confirming the truth to both carnivores.
"That's how you'll become a true Reaper. Now leave! We're done here, imposter," Louis said.
The audience cheers as Bill ran off. The lights were then off for a few seconds before the two golden lights were turned on, putting both Legosi and Louis on the spot. Louis turns to Legosi and offered his hand to the wolf.
"It's alright. You're okay now," Louis said gently to the wolf boy.
The kind wolf took it and got up despite he could still feel the pain from his back. It felt that Louis' much smaller and delicate hand was telling Legosi to get up and stand to tell. The audience cheered loudly after watching such a scene before them.
Seeing that the fight was finally over, Shelia let Els go with the goat girl quickly running towards the gentle wolf she knew. Els hugged Legosi's leg with tears running down her cheeks, not caring if a few members of the audience and Drama club saw this. Legosi, however, was blushing from her action. He never that his classmate would ever hug him like this, much less in front of a large crowd. However, seeing Els hugging Legosi, Louis now began to suspect that the fighting was something more personal than the deer boy even realize.

Both Bill and Louis now suspecting a possible relationship between those two without the two latter realizing their growing feelings. Now that's done, Legosi and Els will have a dinner date in the next chapter after he helps her dealing some bullies.
