A/N: I'm back after so long since my last chapter, apologies. I've had other stories that received my attention. I'll try and update as much as I can since this is my first story and I want to finish it. That said this chapter feels a little off compared to the other chapters.

Anyway enjoy the latest chapter.

Any mistakes are mine and mine alone.

After receiving the photo of Taavos, Marcus and his team went to the bridge that is being guarded by a small team of Roakar. Ordering his team to spread, Marcus aimed at one of the Roakar soldiers and fired, the bullet tearing through the shields and armor with ease. Eli and Sasha opened fire on the remaining Roakar soldiers, the soldiers proved no challenge for them since they caught them by surprise. Rising from their cover the group crossed the bridge and made their way to the location of the Roakar Outpost that Jaal had given them before leaving with Sara.

Shortly after crossing the bridge Marcus spotted a tower in the distance, taking a knee he activated the zoom function in his helmet and zoomed in to see Roakar forces occupying the area surrounding the tower. Behind the tower he saw a tunnel with barricades set up blocking the entrance.

"Looks like a welcoming committee." Sasha said from beside Marcus.

"They haven't noticed us yet, stay low and move quietly." Marcus orders his team deactivating the zoom function and getting back to his feet and advanced on the blockade making sure to keep low and out of sight from the Roakar snipers that are in the tower. Marcus and his team took a knee next to a small formations of rocks next to the blockade, gesturing for his team to spilt up Marcus reached for a plasma grenade from one of his pouches. The moment the others signaled that they are in position Marcus armed the grenade and threw it at the base of the tower next to one of the legs. The grenade detonated, super-heated plasma ate through the metal and destroyed three of the legs supporting the tower causing the tower to collapse.

Rising from cover Marcus took aim and fired hitting a Roakar engineer in the head killing him instantly, causing the other Roakar to begin firing at Marcus, getting back into cover Marcus heard another explosion go off and knew that his other teammates have struck based on the confusion that the Roakar are shouting and shooting in random directions. Activating his biotics Marcus leaned out of cover and threw a warp hitting three Roakar as the warp split into three in midair. Soon the sounds of gunfire stopped as the last Roakar fell, reloading his weapon Marcus waited for the others he didn't have to wait long as the other two members of his team arrived.

After checking their location Marcus and his team entered the tunnel expecting more Roakar to be inside defending the tunnel but they didn't encounter any, something that Eli commentated on. Exiting the tunnel Marcus checks his map to make sure that they are headed in the direction of the outpost closing his map he and his team continue on their way to the Roakar outpost. Entering a small clearing the group is attacked by a small pack of wild animals.

"That just gave us away," Eli said after the last animal is put down.

"We'll deal with it," Marcus responds before the group resumes walking to the outpost. Finally, in the distance they spotted lights and Angaran structures in the distance. Zooming in Marcus sees Roakar soldiers running to and from different buildings, flashes appeared next to one of the buildings.

"Mortars!" Marcus yelled upon hearing the whirling sound of the incoming explosives. Running toward the base to escape the incoming explosive shells and dodging the incoming fire from the Roakar soldiers.

"Spotter located. Data has been downloaded to the Hydra." Ava told Marcus who looked to Sasha who smirked and grabbed the M-650 Hydra launcher off her back and pulled the trigger in the general direction of the spotter. The rocket flew through the air and honed in on the spotter who didn't have time to dodge the incoming rocket and died in the explosion. With the spotter dead the mortars didn't have the accuracy has before and a lot of the shells didn't land near them.

Finally reaching the camp outskirts, Marcus and his team took cover and engaged the Roakar. Slowly the group pushed further into the camp. The Roakar proved no challenge to Marcus and his team. Taking cover from a set of turrets, Marcus peeks out of cover and spots Taavos running further into the camp.

"Spotted Taavos." Marcus told his team. "Ava hack their comms."

"Keep the humans back. I'll call reinforcements."

Marcus threw out a Biotic lift at the turret gunners causing them to lift in the air making them easy targets for Eli who picked them out of the sky. Pushing onward the group follows Taavos further camp and fighting Roakar along the way.

Sasha utilized her engineering skills to jam the Roakar communications and weapons, making things easier for the team. Eli lended them his combat skills, using his grenade launcher attached to his rifle to clear out fortifications and turrets.

"Taavos is heading into the communications building." Ava told the team as they continued to clear the camp.

Ava gave them the all clear once the last defender fell. With the camp clear Marcus and his team advance on the communications building where they can hear Taavos trying to call in reinforcements but getting only static. Sasha and Eli took positions on either side of the door and waited for Marcus who gave them a thumbs up.

The doors opened and the group entered the small building and found Taavos aiming a pistol at them.

"Stay back!" Taavos yelled aiming the gun between the three.

Marcus collapsed his rifle and attached it to his back and held his hands out. "Easy there." He told Taavos who held his gun in shaky hands and continued to wave the gun between the three. "Put down the gun."

"Stay back!" Taavos repeated now aiming the weapon at Marcus who took a step toward him still holding his hands out in front of him. Eli moved to the side getting Taavos attention. "Don't move!" he shouted aiming the gun at Eli.

Marcus grabbed the gun and twisted so Taavos let go and pushed him back. "Relax." Marcus told Taavos still holding the gun and sets it aside and out of reach.

"Ryder, do you copy?" Marcus said while gesturing for Eli and Sasha to keep an eye on Taavos.

"A bit busy right now. Make it quick."

Marcus could hear gunfire in the back ground. "Do you need assistance?"

"No, we just finished dealing with the problem. We encountered a larger Remnant that put up a difficult fight. We're in the clear now."

"We secured Taavos and are waiting in the camp." He told her over the comms.

"We still haven't located the gauntlet yet. We'll contact you when we locate it and topside."

"Alright." Marcus said ending the conversation before looking to Taavos who is looking nervous or he thinks he is nervous, it's hard to tell with the Angara. "Calm down, we aren't going to hurt you."

"You are lying. Your Initiative is no different from the Kett!" Taavos shouted at the group of three. "You claim to be here in peace but that is false and when you are ready, you'll kill us all!"

"Is that what you believe or what the Roakar will have you believe?" Marcus asked which gave Taavos pause. "You seem a little young to be with the Roakar."

"I'm old enough to fight." Taavos responded.

"So why sign up with the Roakar?" Eli asked curious as to why he would join up with the Roakar.

Taavos didn't answer and looked away from the group. Marcus took the hint and gestured for Eli and Sasha to stand guard. Marcus looked to Taavos who crossed his arms and sat down.

"Why'd you really join up with the Roakar?" Marcus asked getting Taavos' attention.

"They speak the truth." Taavos spoke uncrossing his arms. "These planets belonged to the Angara and your Initiative and the Kett show up to take over."

"We're not like the Kett. We're here to coexist peacefully." Marcus told Taavos who just scoffed as he faced Marcus.

"That's the same thing the Kett told us before they started their war." Taavos replied.

"I'm not gonna try and change your mind." Marcus said surprising Taavos since he expected the human to try and convince him.

"Shepard, we're topside and have the gauntlet." Marcus' radio came to life.

"Got it, we're at the Roakar base. The way should be clear, except for the local wildlife." Marcus told her sending her a waypoint to his location.

"Copy, see you soon."

"Another alien coming?" Taavos asked.

"She's the Pathfinder for the Initiative." Marcus said leaning against the wall while Eli stood watch outside.

"I heard about her. She crash landed on Aya." Taavos said keeping a watchful eye on Marcus and Sasha and kept his distance from them.

"Really?" Sasha asked curious while checking her weapon.

"You can ask her." Marcus said crossing his arms and looked at her briefly before going back to keeping an eye on Taavos.

"And have her deny it? No thanks." Sasha said finishing checking her weapon and took a seat on a nearby crate.

Eventually Sara and her team arrived at the base and entered the communication building. Marcus saw her looking at him then to Taavos who chose to silent brood in the corner like an angry child. Taavos' gaze went to Sara and her team.

"More aliens." Taavos said with hate and scoffed at them.

"Hello, I'm the human Pathfinder. Ryder." Sara said walking to Taavos and greeting him.

"What do you want?" Taavos asked not hiding his hostility. Sara didn't show any reaction to his hatred since it's not the first time she had to deal with hostile Angara. She pulled out an old gauntlet from her pouch on her belt and handed it to Taavos. The gauntlet has seen better days and looks to be falling apart.

"Can you put this on?" Sara asked when Taavos took the gauntlet. "It could tell us how to open the door that leads to the third monolith."

"If I do this, will you leave me alone?" Taavos asked both Marcus and Sara, both of them agreed and he put on the gauntlet. "I don't feel anythi-" Taavos yelled in pain and staggered back to the desk. Jaal went to help him.

"I saw… flashes of images, blurry." Taavos said after he recovered and took off the gauntlet, he gently laid it down on the desk. "I- I think I know how to open the door."

"Great, let's go." Sara said heading for the door.

"Wait." Jaal said stopping Sara and the others from leaving. "He needs his rest. I'll stay and watch him and then meet you at the door."

Sara looked at Taavos and saw him rubbing his head and breathing heavily. She nodded at Jaal and left the building with Marcus.

"So we head for the door?" Marcus asked once they left the building. Sara looked at him and nodded.

"First we need to resupply." Sara said. "Who knows what we'll encounter."

"Sounds good." Marcus said, his team didn't need to restock their heat sinks so they followed Sara to a clearing outside the camp and waited as a supply drop flew to their location. Soon a medium size pod landed and Sara and her team went about restocking their heat sinks and grenades. Marcus and his team checked their weapons while they waited.

"Ok, let's go." Sara said after they finished resupplying. The two teams went back to the bridge they crossed and started to look for a way down. Sasha pointed to what appeared to be a path leading into the chasm. They climbed down and encountered Remnant drones again, after dispatching them they continued their trek to the door.

"Wait." Sara said when they came upon a crashed starfighter. Marcus looked at Sara as she activated her scanner and started scanning the wreckage. The crashed ship had been in the chasm for a while, vines and mold had started to grow on the damaged hull.

"What are you doing?" Marcus asked when he saw Sara look at the cockpit.

"Searching for a helmet." She said scanning the interior. "I promised that I would keep an eye out for any Angaran artifacts. Here we go." Sara closed the scanner and picked up a some what intact helmet. "SAM alert the science outpost that I've found an intact Angaran helmet. Tell them that I need it prepped for transport."

"Of course, Pathfinder."

With that taken care of, the group resumed heading for the door. Along the way they encountered more of the local wildlife and more Remnant drones. Finally they reached the large door, a lone pedestal stood before the door. Sara approached the pedestal and tried to activate it.

"No good?" Marcus asked when he saw Sara give up.

She shook her head and looked at the massive door. "Guess we need Taavos' help."

Marcus and the other took positions outside the door when they saw more Remnant drones in the area. Jaal contacted Sara and told her that he and Taavos are heading to them, she warned them about the drones in the area. After a while Jaal and Taavos arrive at their location.

"Have any trouble?" Sara asked Jaal who shook his head while Taavos approached the pedestal and did a series of hand movements that activated the pedestal. A blue holo interface appeared and Taavos interacted with it. The large doors slowly opened and dust fell from the doors finally being moved after so many years of being inactive.

Taavos took the lead and entered first with the rest of the group following with their weapons raised in case of danger. The group came across destroyed Remnant drones that are covered in dust.

"This is where my ancestor was frozen." Taavos said looking at the drones with a thinking expression. "This is where they learned the language of the machines."

"Sounds like the stasis field that trapped the scientists." Marcus said looking at the drones then to Taavos who resumed walking further into the cave. Suddenly Taavos took off down a corridor of the cave, the others ran off after him and came upon a set of destroyed armor on the cave floor.

"This is where my ancestor died." Taavos said leaning down to place his hand on the chest piece of the armor and traced the pattern on the armor. "They were trying to activate the monolith, but were attacked by the drones."

"I'm sorry." Sara said trying to comfort Taavos who stood and looked at the group.

"Come, the monolith is ahead." He said once again taking the lead. "We need to activate it to complete their mission."

Taavos led the group to a gravity well with an orb floating stationary above the platform.

"Down we go." Sara said activating the gravity well and floated down to a lower level. Marcus looked at his team before jumping into the well and safely descending to the lower level. Their descent slowed as they reached the ground and they felt the ground once again against their boots.

Marcus saw Sara and the others next to a console and in front of them is large black monolith in the far back of the cave. Its design is similar to the Geth structures he had seen on Rannoch.

"Remarkable, I'm detecting a ton of data from the monolith." Ava said through their link.

"What about?" Marcus asked while walking over to Sara and the others.

"Mostly just junk data but there are some interesting tidbits." Ava said as Marcus reached Sara just in time to see her activate the console and a loud boom came from the monolith. Looking at the structure he saw a blue beam emerging from the tip of the monolith and leading out of the cave. "I just picked up a massive data spike. It must be from it activating, I'm already picking up a massive signal from beneath the planet not far from your current position."

"Must be the Vault." Marcus said not noticing Sara approaching.

"That's right, we can go activate it now." Sara said now by Marcus' side. "SAM has the location, we can head there now."

"Lead the way." Marcus said following Sara as she headed back to the gravity well and took it back to the top level. From there the group went back to the entrance without anything interesting happening and they exited the cave and soon the large doors closed behind them.

"I'll head to the science outpost and wait for you there." Taavos told them before leaving the group. "I need to think about things."

The group followed Taavos until they made it to the bridge and from there they separated. Taavos went to the science outpost and the others headed for the Vault.

"I'm picking up Remnant signals up ahead." Ava warned Marcus as they climbed a small hill.

"Remnant signals ahead." Marcus told the group and they slowly advanced up the hill. When they reached the top they saw Remnant drones moving back and forth not noticing them. Seeing how they are unnoticed Marcus took his team and moved left while Sara took hers to the right.

Unfortunately, one of the drones spotted Sara's team and alerted the others. The drones opened fire on Sara's team, Sara and her team quickly took cover from whatever is available and returned fire.

Marcus and his team opened fire on the drones and drew some of their attention while the others continued to focus on Sara's team. Marcus aimed his rifle at a drone and opened fire destroying the drone and aiming at another one. Soon the drones were destroyed and the teams regrouped and advanced carefully when they heard more drones further one. Sure enough they encountered more drones protecting an underground entrance.

Once again the two teams dispatched the drones with ease and reloaded their weapons after the short battle.

"What can we expect inside the Vault?" Marcus asked looking at the entrance.

"A lot of drones and once we activate it. We need to outrun the cleansing field." Sara explained to Marcus as she led the way to the Vault entrance. The two teams walked through the entrance and found another gravity well at the end of the hallway. Once again they took it down further into the Vault.

"Wow." Ava said impressed at the size of the Vault. "There is a ton of data flowing through the Vault."

"I wonder how long it took to build this." Sasha said in wonder as she look at the Vault.

"Never seen anything like this back home." Eli said shaking his head slightly. "'Cept maybe the Reaper corpses."

"Trust us, you haven't seen nothing yet." Cora told them.

A loud sound emanated throughout the Vault as the large doors opened allowing the group entry. The group moved deeper into the Vault until they came upon another console.

"This is the console we need to activate after we turn on the Vault." Sara explained to Marcus.

"Can't we just have someone here prepared to turn off the cleansing field?" Marcus asked looking at the console.

"I'm afraid that won't be possible as Sara is the only one capable of interacting with Remnant technology." SAM said.

"We discovered that the field needs to cleanse the entire Vault before it can be properly activated." Sara said after marking the console on their map. "We'll find the heart of the Vault further on."

Marcus held back his questions for later and followed Sara and her team as they took point. True to Sara's word they encountered more Remnant drones but they were quickly dispatched and soon they entered a large room.

"Holy shit…" Marcus said taken back by the sheer size of the Vault.

"Definitely don't see this kind of thing back home." Eli said amazed at the sight.

Before them is a sight they've never seen before. An endless plane of pyramids made from Remnant tech that continued well beyond the horizon.

"Is this whole planet a Vault?" Sasha wondered.

"I look forward to finding out when the Kett are dealt with." Cora said also looking at the scene before her. She had seen it before and it still took her breath away.

"Let's move on." Marcus said regaining his focus. "We can gawk later."

The two teams moved carefully through the corridors of the Vault dealing with the Remnant drones that they encountered. Finally they made it to the heart of the Vault where they once again encountered more drones, this time they fought two of the larger ones. Marcus and his team dealt with those while Sara's team dealt with the smaller ones.

"Ok, what now?" Marcus asked after the final drone is destroyed and reloaded his weapon.

"Now, we get ready to run." Sara said standing in front of the activation console and already interfacing with it. Another loud sound emanated throughout the Vault and Marcus saw a dark cloud fast approaching them from a corridor further down the room. "Move!" Sara shouted spurring the group into action, they took off running as fast as they could to escape the fast approaching dark cloud.

Marcus looked behind him to see two drones get destroyed the moment the dark could touched them. He didn't want to find out what that cloud could do to them, he picked up the pace now running side by side with Sara as they rounded a corner.

Thankfully the drones left them alone as they too tried to escape the approaching doom. Though some of the drones still tried to stop them by shooting them, the team didn't want to risk slowing down so they tanked the shots thankfully they didn't penetrate their shields as they continued to run to the entrance.

They made it to entrance and Sara quickly interfaced with the console, turning off the purification field before it reach them.

"The Vault is now operational." SAM told them as the group breathed heavily to catch their breath after running.

"Let's get out of here." Sara said heading for the gravity well with the others following close.

The group exited the Vault and Marcus couldn't explain it but he felt that something was different.

"The air feels different." Eli said looking at the sky.

"Let's head back to the science outpost." Sara said and Marcus agreed, the two teams made their way back to the outpost. They weren't attacked on the way which gave them a reprieve and they made it to the science outpost without any complications. Back in the safety of the outpost Marcus and the others put their safeties on and collapsed their weapons back into their compact forms and holstered them.

Marcus and Sara went to talk to the scientists while the others decided to rest for a bit before joining the two.

"By the stars you have done it." The Angaran scientist in charge said when they entered the building. "We're already seeing improvements to the atmosphere and the quakes have subsided. Thank you."

"It's our pleasure." Sara said. "Is there anything else you need?"

"No, there is nothing more you can do, Ryder." One of the scientists said looking at Sara. "From here it's just monitoring the situation on the planet."

"What about the Roakar?" Marcus asked getting their attention.

"They leave us alone and after what you did to them. They may leave the planet entirely."

"Some will remain behind." Taavos said not wearing the Roakar armor but regular clothes. "You have given much to think about." He said looking at Sara.

"Are you going to remain here?" Marcus asked drawing his attention.

"Yes, the memories from my ancestors may help the scientists." Taavos said.

Jaal entered the room and walked over to Sara. "We have located the Moshae. She is on Voeld."

"Are you sure?" Sara asked turning to Jaal and serious.

"Yes, our recon teams have confirmed that she is on Voeld." Jaal said sounding just a bit excited. "We have to leave at once."

"I'm headed to Voeld." Sara told Marcus.

"We'll be coming as well." Marcus said just as his team entered the building and stood by the door. "It sounds like you might need help."

"We'll take all we can get." Sara said before looking to the scientists. "Good luck with everything here."

The scientists bowed to Sara and Marcus. "May the stars guide you and help you bring back the Moshae."

Marcus and Sara left the main building and headed back to their own ships for the journey to Voeld. Marcus and his team took a shuttle back to their own ship on the way Sara informed them that they are departing the planet.

"Chloe, prep the ship for takeoff. We'll be arriving soon." Marcus ordered.

"We'll be ready to leave when you get here." Chloe replied.

Marcs and the others rode the shuttle in silence and they landed, the three thanked the pilot before disembarking and heading back to the Normandy. They entered the Normandy and waited for the decontamination protocol to end once it did they entered the ship and immediately went to the armory to drop off their weapons before heading to their rooms to change out of their armor.

Now back in his BDU's, Marcus went to the bridge and activated the galaxy map. He selected the planet Voeld as their next destination and left the rest to bridge crew. Soon the ship is back in the empty void of space and entering FTL.

Marcus then headed for the communications room to get an update from the teams on the Nexus and on the colony Prodromos. Entering the room, Marcus called Kesh to see how things are progressing on the Nexus.

"Admiral." Kesh said with a nod after her holo form appeared.

"I called to see how things are progressing on the Nexus." Marcus said.

"Things are going faster with your help. We even started opening closed sections. The engineering teams have also helped in making the station operational."

"Any problems?" Marcus asked wanting to hear them.

"Most of it is on the technical side. Your tech isn't compatible with ours, but we're making do." Kesh told him and brought up a second screen with more information that Marcus looked over. "The food you've brought is a major boon, as you know we've been rationing ever since we arrived and moral has been low."

"It's improving?"

"Ever since Ryder and the human Ark arrived." Kesh told him. "More since you and the fleet arrived."

Kandros appeared next to Kesh. "Admiral, sorry for interrupting. I thought it prudent to update you as well."

"Any issues?" Marcus asked the turian.

"Some minor scuffles between our people, nothing too serious." Kandros told him. "The security teams you sent have been a great help. We managed to shut down a smuggling ring that has been sending supplies to the Exiles."

"We've also opened up more docking spaces for the fleet." Kesh said. "Space is still limited-"

"So we can't wake everyone, I understand." Marcus said before looking to Kandros. "Have the supply routes from Prodromos been established?"

"Yes, we've had problems with the Kett and Exiles intercepting some of the shipments."

"I've already ordered patrols to be set up around the Nexus and along the supply routes." Marcus told the two and they nodded in approval. "Some may still slip though."

"It's understandable." Kandros said. "I'll send you my reports about the situations on the Nexus."

"Me too." Kesh said. "We'll let you get back to your duties."

Kesh and Kandros nodded before their call was ended and their holo forms vanished. With that taken care of, Marcus called Captain Dornall. The Captain he placed in charge of security of Prodromos.

"Admiral." Dornall said with a salute when his holo form appeared.

Marcus returned the salute and Dornall went into parade rest. "What's the status of Prodromos?"

"We've secured the settlement and set up defensive towers along the perimeter." Dornall said bringing up a map of the settlement and the added security. "Mayor Bradley was surprised when we showed up. After a brief explanation and some help from the Nexus, Mayor Bradley has since then been accommodating. He asked to be put in touch with you the moment you're available."

"Patch him through." Marcus said and soon a second form appeared next to Dornall. "Mayor Bradley?"

"Yes, and you must be Admiral Shepard with the Relief Fleet." Bradley said looking at Marcus. "First, let me thank you for sending Captain Dornall and Lieutenant Daniel to help us. We had a small team of security to help us. We're scientists not soldiers."

"You're welcome. Captain Dornall has informed me that you've been helpful in accommodating them."

"We got plenty of room to spare, Lieutenant Daniel and his men have already set up in the settlement." Bradley told him.

"Any problems?" Marcus asked.

"Some of the patrols have encountered the Kett, other than that no." Dornall said. "The radiation has been keeping them at bay, though we have spotted what looks like a FOB a good distance from the settlement.'

"Radiation levels are also dropping as well." Bradley interjected. "Our estimates say that the radiation will clear in the next three days."

"Any plans of expansion?" Marcus asked Bradley.

"Not at the moment. Expand too fast and we run out of resources too early." Bradley said and Marcus noticed a subtle shift in Dornall's posture.

"Anything to add, Captain?" Marcus asked and Dornall cleared his throat.

"There are two sites that can be converted into living spaces."

"Promise and Resilience." Marcus said having briefly read the report that Tann sent him. "What did you have in mind?"

"With Mayor Bradley's permission, I'd like to turn Promise into our main MOB." Dornall said with a gesture to Bradley.

"To be honest, we were planning on memorializing the sites." Bradley said. "They hold a lot a bad memories for the Initiative. I think those that fell would be happy to know that new life is being brought to Promise."

"Lieutenant Daniel and his men will remain at remain at Prodromos doing security. In the meantime we'll start transforming Site 1 Promise into a MOB." Dornall explained.

"That work for you Bradley?" Marcus asked the Mayor.

"That works for me, I'll tell the rest of the people here." Bradley said with a nod. "Having a stable military presence nearby will help calm their nerves."

"I'll leave you to it, Captain, Mayor Bradley." Marcus said with a nod to both of them. Dornall saluted and Bradley nodded as the call ended. "Ava."

"Yes." Ava said as her holo form appeared next to him.

"What do we know of Voeld." Marcus asked turning to face Ava.

"According to the files we got from the Initiative. Voeld was supposed to be a Golden World." Ava said bringing up a projection of the planet. "Now, the planet is frozen over and the site of the fiercest fighting between the Angaran and the Kett."

"Anything else?"

"Aside from the data from the planet? No." Ava said crossing her arms.

"Contact Ryder on the Tempest. Let's see if we can get more information." Marcus said and Ava nodded once.

"Shepard." Sara said once her holo form appeared.

"Ryder, can you bring in Jaal. I want to ask him about where the Moshae is being held." Marcus said.

Sara called for Jaal and soon he appeared next to Sara.

"What can I help with?" Jaal asked looking at Marcus first then to Sara.

"I wanted to ask you if you knew anything else about where the Moshae is being held." Marcus said looking at Jaal.

"Hmm, our scouts have reported that the Moshae is being held in a facility." Jaal said crossing his arms. "We don't know much about the facility since we haven't raided one."

"Okay, we'll be arriving before you." Marcus said bringing up a report from Chloe. "Who do we ask regarding the mission?"

"One of our people will bring you to the commander in charge of the rescue." Jaal said uncrossing his arms. "I've already let them know."

"Appreciate it." Marcus said with a small nod to Jaal. "See you on Voeld." He told the two before ending the call.
