10. Status Update

Hi everyone! I know it's been a hot second since I last updated this fic. Unfortunately, this is not another chapter but rather a general story status update. I've been thinking about this story a lot in the last few years and I've wanted to rewrite it for quite some time. I've started several times, but the more I thought about it, the more I kept reworking. Eventually, I realized what I wanted to write was no longer fan fiction and had become a fully original work.

At some point, I hope to publish what I have and, as such, have chosen to abandon this story. I'll be leaving it up just as a reminder of how far my writing has come, but I will no longer be updating here. If I ever manage to publish the rewritten version I'll drop another update so anyone interested can check it out.
