(Beacon Academy Grounds, 7 AM, Saturday...

Marth: Hold on, who are they?
Byleth: Combat prodigies. Leaders of their own teams.
Marth: Are they first years?
Claude: Pretty much. The professor just likes to make us look good. *smirks* Not that we can't do that ourselves.
Marth: Uh…sure thing. Whatever. (We got Mr. Arrogant Douche among the roster, it would seem.)
Byleth: I've been watching you for a while Marth Altheos, and now that you are no longer a child, I'd like to see what you've gained in the fast few years.
Marth: Oh, I've gained plenty.
Byleth: Dimitri! Claude! Edelgard! On my signal!
Marth: *flexes fingers* Great. The only jokers at Beacon are Cardin and his mongrels. I sure hope you guys can offer more of a challenge for me.
(Several metal-clanging minutes later)
Marth: Wow! You guys are the real deal.
Byleth: *eyes glittering with exhilration* You were pretty remarkable yourself. You bear the crest of a leader Marth. (Just like your mother before you.)
Marth: Leader, that's my game, don't play it out!
Byleth: Who would've thought the boy who'd burn nearly half his fingers trying to make a weapon had the flames of a legend burning inside of him.
Marth: *takes a step back, pale* Uh…yeah. Well you know, practice, training, eight meals and three hours of sleep. The usual regimen for aspiring Huntsmen. Well it was nice to see you again Professor…sir…dude. Gottagobye!
Edelgard: Sir, I think you've upset him.
Byleth: Really *smiles* I haven't noticed. I was too busy looking at the way you three nearly tore each other apart while Marth was able to thread through your movements. (He would've been a fine student at Haven, but it seems fate guided him to his mother's alma matter)
Dimitri: *vomits onto Claude's boots*
So many references to Three Houses in this chapter, but we need to do Byleth, Edelgard, Dimitri and Claude justice. It's gonna be recurring every time another FE character just pops in. Which should be in the next chapter.
Also, I'd like to apologize for a mistake I made in Chapter 14, which was an Ike X Pyrrha Support. I've updated the chapter with the proper convo, so sorry for all the WTFs I caused with this big oopsie.
Also, that wasn't the only oopsie I did, so the next chapter will be with Ike and Blake, a support I noticed wasn't in the chapters.
