This is just a summary and final scene...

I may come back and fill this part out, I honestly haven't even reread most of what I wrote before. But as I found more of the story then was published I thought I would share that...

Chapters 10-12 deal with them working on exposing Lex. Going underground, and I really don't remember what else. I don't have the DVDs from the show anymore, and really lost interest in trying to finish it. But I thought I would publish the rest of it, as was written. Suffice it to say that in Chapter 10: The truth starts to get exposed and they have to go underground and fake their deaths. Chapter 11 is getting the evidence and Chapter 12 is exposing.

Chapter 10:

Somehow, with their full commitment to their marriage, Lois had thought that their lives would be easier not harder over the past few weeks. It had been two weeks since their tearful commitment to each other and their marriage and the full exchange of rings, yet it had been so hard to live out in the two weeks. Lois glanced briefly at her husband beside her, she could tell his tenseness as they waited for Uncle Wallace to open the door.

It was Aunt Marian who greeted them, "Come in, dears, do come in." Her smile was warm.

Ending of Chapter 12:

VERSION ONE ENDING:

Lois rode up the elevator, leaning against her husband. "Its good to be back, yet the response we'll get." She shook her head.

"I interviewed about a year ago. Who'd have thought our lives would change so completely in a year?"

"Tell me about it." Lois smiled down at her patruding stomach. Now in early August she was just declared full term. "Bet you Jimmy will dead faint away as soon as I walk in."

"You mean we walk in, like everyone he thinks we're dead…"

"Nah, especially if we walk in with the exclusive on the downfall of a mastermine criminal, that's just par for the course with us… no little Laney will cause him to faint…. Once he realizes it's real."

They arrived during the lunch hour and were ushered into Perry's office.

Jimmy was just leaving for lunch when the new team arrived, passing him in the hallway. He only took a brief glance at them before hurrying onto meet his friends at the deli around the block. His stomach had soared for a brief second thinking perhaps it was Lois and Clark back, only to sink again to the depths realizing this new couple wasn't his old friends. The woman wore a flowy soft maternity top over a equally flowy skirt, covered in delicate flowers, excentuating her clearly expectant belly. Her curly dark hair though bearing a minor respemblance to Lois, wasn't Lois. Nor the pointed glasses she wore as she smiled at her husband. The man was a mystery, with a white fiorar and wearing tan and white from head to toe.

He returned to find the couple, already at work ignored by everyone else as they filtered back in from lunches. "Sorry, he said, "Just need to finish getting you set up… You must be Mr. & Mrs. El, Perry told me you were coming. I kept hoping…"

The woman turned towards him, "Kept hoping what, Jimmy?"

"Lois!" Jimmy cried out. "Your back! You've been undercover! Wow! I knew that baby was a fake. Why'd Perry say you were Mr. & Mrs. El? You're not still undercover?"

Lois smiled at him. "Jimmy, if we were still undercover do you think we'd be here? Course not. We bagged him."

"Who?"

"Lex Luthor of course. They just arrested him." Lois smiled, "And Kent and Lane-Kent have the exclusive."

"What?"

"Kent and Lane-Kent." Clark repeated slowly. "Lois, that's not how you spell…"

Lois slapped his hand. "Stop editing my copy Clark, that's what Editors are paid for." She turned back to Jimmy. "We've missed you Jimmy."

"Wow, no one would have recognized you two that way…. Great costume Lois, my cousin was pregnanet once, and I remeber how she looked towards the end, you look so real, like you're ready to burst!"

Lois laughed. "I am 38 weeks…"

"Wow, so they make fake bellies based on how far along you want to look?"

"Jimmy, Clark and I are expecting."

"A Pulitzer, that's for sure."

"Jimmy." Clark leaned in behind his wife. "We're expecting that too."

"All done!" Lois hit the send button. "Jimmy, here' see." She raised up her shirt. "Want to feel it? She takes after me and kicks something awful. See, real."

" .ba…ba" Jimmy fell in a faint on the ground.

"Welcome back you two!" Perry grinned slapping the couple on their backs. "What's up with Jimmy?"

"The shock." Clark shrugged. "Lois pregnanet was too much for him."

"Well, come on. Time for the morning massacure."

They left the office, following Perry towards the conference room where old friends and colleages waited.

"Ready Mrs. Kent?"

"Mrs. Lane-Kent." Sure as I ever will." She looped her arm into her husbands and walked with him into the doorway of the conference room.

"Ah there you are… That new couple I was telling you all I hired."

"You can't replace Kent and Lane!" They heard Jimmy cry out.

"Now, Jimmy we all have to move on. They brought us in an exclusive. The downfall of Lex Luthor. Quite an assit to our team. Everyone, Now may I introduce: Clark Kent and Lois Lane-Kent."

"Lane-Kent?" Someone wispered.

"They're alive?"

"And brought in the Superman exclusive."

"No wonder no one recognized you." Cat called out. "Lois Lane pretending to be preggers and married? Hah."

"Cat?, what are you talking about? Even you were there for the wedding reception last fall… I have to say though it's been nice to have Luthor jailed and no longer a threat."
