Chapter Ten, The Wedding
Thea, Larissa and Tauri were excited for their wedding. They had decided to have a April wedding on the 7th the following year which also meant Teddy was a little older, now at four years old. They were all getting married on the same day much like Bella had teased them about so long ago now, but it had actually been Garrett to suggest it as he along with Emmett and Jasper knew how much the sisters meant to each other. They had decided to hold the wedding in the Manor's gardens near the lake and then have the reception inside, and they had decided on a navy blue and dusty rose coloured scheme. Jasper, Garrett and Emmett would all have navy suits with black shoes, but the ties although dusty rose, would be different same with the flowers.
Jasper has a dusty rose patterned tie with a dusty pink rose, Emmett has a dusty rose coloured bow tie and a white flower that has a bit of pink, and Garrett also has a dusty rose coloured tie but it is a lighter shade then Jasper's and he has a white rose. Teddy as their cute little page boy also has a navy suit like his Daddy and uncles, but like uncle Emmett he has a clip on dusty rose bow tie, and he looked adorable. Emmett, Jasper and Garret had built an arbor for them to get married under right in front of the lake, and it looked beautiful draped in dusty rose coloured netting and white and dusty pink flowers.
The seats outside were also gave crafted from trunks of fallen trees into beautiful log benches covered in navy blue stairs that the guys had also built. Inside in the large ball room were round tables stairs in navy blue table cloths, dusty rose napkins, white chairs and white crockery. On the tables were tall ornaments with fairy lights on them and an arrangement of white and dusty pink coloured flowers sat on top. All around the room fairy lights were strung, wrapping around the support beams making the reception look beautiful and magical.
On the main table in front of where the couples would sit were gifts from the maid of honour, Luna. They were tall champagne glasses that she had decorated herself. For the guys, they were painted navy blue and had some white lace attached, and fit the girls they were painted white and had some silk roses of dusty pink and navy over the top of the lace. They really were very well made and very pretty, the girls treasured them greatly.
On the other side of the room was the amazing cake that Esme had made, it was four tiers and each tier was a different colour except the last two. The bottom tier was a navy blue and had gold edible glitter on it in the shape of leaves and writing that read, 'E and A' for Emmett and Amalthea. The next tier was white and had edible dusty pink roses on the side and 'G and L' written on it in the golden glitter for Garrett and Larissa. The next tier, was a dusty pink and white colour in a marble effect and also had golden glitter writing on it that said, 'J and T' for Jasper and Tauri. Finally, the last tier was the dusty pink and white marble effect, with golden leaves and the dusty pink roses. It truly was a magnificent cake.
Bella as one of the bridesmaids for her cousins' wedding was wearing a long light dusty rose coloured dress, that had a slight v-neckline and mesh straps that were slightly off-the-shoulder. She was thankful her cousins were letting her wear flats and had a navy blue pair that had silver beading on them. Her hair was curled with the sides pinned back, she had light pink eyeshadow, mascara and dusty rose lipstick. Her nails were painted a dusty rose colour that was slightly darker than her dress and also had white patterns in it, that matched the white rose bouquet.
Bella felt sorry for her cousins we none of the Weasleys or Hermione were coming to their wedding, as they were still being blamed for Fred and Ginny's deaths. The only ones that didn't blame them were Mr Weasley, Bill, Fleur, Charlie and George, but they sent their best wishes along with some gifts. The only ones that were coming were Luna and Neville Longbottom, Andromeda Tonks (Teddy's grandmother) who would be moving in soon (as she had finally taken the girls up on their offer and it was also easier for Teddy), Hagrid, Severus Snape and the Minister of Magic, Kingsley Shaklebolt who would be presiding over the wedding.
Unlike Bella's own wedding to Edward, there would be no one from town attending the wedding; only Charlie and everyone at the Rez. Also, there would be all those who had fought against the Volturi except for Alice and Rosalie (who now lived with the Denali's but they had refused to come). When Thea, Larissa and Tauri found out about the confrontation with the Volturi and they hadn't been told about it at first, they were rightfully so, upset. But once they had calmed down they understood their family's reasoning, as they had just come out of a war and their family didn't want them in another one.
"Renesmee." Andromeda called, looking over to where she was playing with Teddy. "Your turn to get ready now."
"Okay Andy." Renesmee chirped as her mother took her place to play with Teddy. While Luna, Thea, Larissa and Tauri were showering in their own bathrooms. Renesmee quickly got changed onto her long dusty rose coloured dress that had a high mesh neckline and paired it with some navy blue kitten heels. Once she was dressed Andromeda did her makeup and nails the same way as she did Bella's, before she started on her hair. Weaving it into a french plait that wrapped around her head and pinning the end up with a pink flower clip. Leaving a few strands to frame her face to finish off. She also had a white rose bouquet.
"There we are." Andromeda sand when she finished, smiling at the young dhampir before her.
"Thank you Andy." Renesmee said happily as she hugged Andy who was dressed in a beautiful navy blue lace dress. Once she let go of Andy giving her a kiss on the cheek she went back to entertaining her cousin.
"Don't get you or Teddy dirty Renesmee." Bella warned.
"Bella, we have magic to clean up if that happens, don't worry." Luna said gently as she and the others came back into the room. She quickly got herself dressed as Larissa and Thea were waiting to do her makeup and nails and Tauri her hair.
Luna had a long chiffon dress that was a darker dusty rose colour. It had straps that twisted up over one shoulder, wrapped around her waist before tying at the back leaving a v-neckline. She had navy blue heels that had white stars on them and she wanted her nails painted a sunshine yellow to bring happiness to the wedding. Which Thea, Larissa and Tauri didn't mind as they loved Luna the way she is. Once she was dressed and her nails done Larissa started on Luna's makeup. She had golden brown eyeshadow, cats-eye eyeliner, mascara and a dark dusty rose lipstick.
Next, Tauri worked on Luna's hair, giving it a few more curls and plaiting the sides back. She left some to frame her face before adding a flower crown on top consisting of dusty pink roses. Which matched her white rose bouquet, all in all she looked beautiful and like a woodland nymph.
"You all look beautiful." The triplets cried happily.
"Beautiful!" Teddy shouted making everyone laugh.
"Tight. Your turn." Andromeda said to the triplets who she saw as daughters. "Bells, Luna and Renesmee can you do their nails while I entertain Teddy." She instructed as they all got to work, starting with Thea.
Amalthea's nails were painted in alternating colours consisting of navy blue, dusty rose and white, with navy blue and dusty pink flowers on the white nails. Her makeup consisted of shimmery golden eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and dark dusty rose lipgloss. Her hair was curled and twisted up into a high bun held by silver leaf clips, and a curled strand to frame her face. She had navy blue silk peep-toe heels that had a silver leaf pattern on the heel that matched the clips, and a bouquet of dusty pink roses.
Finally, it was time for her dress. Her dress was a field-of-flowers embroidery and was in a classic ballroom-style, with a full skirt, a structured bodice that had a low back and was off-the-shoulder. It truly was a beautiful dress. Once she came out of the closet (as they were all in a spare room so the guys wouldn't see the dresses), everyone gasped and Bella got venom tears in her eyes as she looked at her cousin, and Larissa and Tauri were trying not to cry at the sight of their big sister.
"Oh Thea! That truly is a beautiful dress. You look stunning, Emmett won't be able to dirks when he sees you. Which will be a first." Bella said, making everyone laugh.
"Thank you Bella." Thea said laughing softly, smiling as her younger sisters hugged her tightly.
"You really do look amazing Thea." Tauri said as she kissed her cheek.
"You look stunning dear sister." Larissa stated.
"Thank you." Thea said as she kissed both her sisters' cheeks. "Your turn Lissa." She said pushing Lissa into the chair.
Larissa's nails were painted a matte dark dusty rose colour apart from the middle finger and the ring finger on each hand. The middle finger had a dark navy blue pattern painted over the dusty rose, and the ring finger was painted a dark navy blue that was almost black, with golden gems stuck on top. Her makeup consisted of golden brown eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, mascara and dusty rose lipstick. Her hair was curled and pulled back into a low bun with a flowery gemmed clip attached to the bun.
She had dusty rose coloured strappy heels that had beads over the strap around her ankles, and her toenails like both of her sisters had been painted white the night before. She also had a white and dusty pink rose bouquet with a touch of navy. Once she was done it was time for her dress.
Her dress was an off-the-shoulder mermaid style dress, the top was covered in an intricate lace embroidery before it turned into tile at the bottom and flared out into a train at the back. Like her older sister's it was a beautiful dress and suited Larissa perfectly.
"Oh Lissa." Tauri and Thea exclaimed as they pulled their sister into a hug. Larissa's cheeks turning red from all the compliments she was getting, and turned the attention onto Tauri.
"Let's get you ready now Ri, before we're late to our own wedding." Thea teased, making everyone laugh.
"Mummy?" Teddy called, moving away from Renesmee and over to his mother.
"What's the matter sweetheart?" Tauri asked concerned.
"Can I have a cuddle?" Teddy asked cutely. Tauri just smiled at her son and picked him up, snuggling him on her lap while the others worked their magic on her.
Like her elder sisters, they started with her nails and in the opposite colours to Larissa. Painting them navy blue except for the middle and ring fingers that were painted a light dust rose and decorated with silver and blue glitter. Next, was her makeup which consisted of brown eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, mascara and dark dusty rose lipstick. Her curly hair was curled slightly more and twisted back into a low bun, with strands to frame her face and a pearl flower clip placed just above the bun. She had white heels that had a gemmed flower pattern on the heel, and a bouquet of white, dusty pink and navy blue roses. Giving Teddy a kiss she set him down so she could go change into her dress.
Hey dress had a flower embroidery and was in a elegant, princess style with a sweetheart neckline, with a full tule skirt and a structured bodice that had a corset back. It truly was a beautiful dress and suited Tauri extremely well, like Thea's and Lissa's dresses suited them.
As she came out of the closest everyone couldn't help but gasp at how beautiful she looked and those who could cry were trying not to so they didn't ruin their makeup. Especially Thea and Larissa as it was their younger sister, though they all felt that way when each sister came out in their dresses.
"Mummy. You she aunties look like Princesses." Teddy exclaimed, making Thea, Larissa and Tauri hug and kiss Teddy thanking him softly. Not a moment later there was a knock on the door. Renesmee opened it to reveal Charlie stood there in his wedding suit.
When his eyes locked into the sisters threats immediately filled his eyes. He couldn't believe that all four of his girls would be married by the end of the day. He would be walking Larissa and Tauri down the aisle, one on each arm and Andromeda works be walking Thea down the aisle right besides them.
"Oh girls you look so beautiful." Charlie gasped, smiling softly at them.
"Grandpa. Mummy and aunties are Princesses." Teddy exclaimed as he ran over to Charlie. Charlie smiled and picked Teddy up settling him on his hip.
"You're right Teddy. They are Princesses." Charlie agreed kissing his grandson's cheek.
"Right it's time. Teddy you go with your auntie Luna and behave." Charlie warmed as he set Teddy down as the little boy agreed.
"Come Teddy. We can see how many people have nargles on the way down." Luna said as she held out her have a child size spectraspecs. Teddy giggled as he slipped the glasses on and took his auntie's hand as they left the room, and the Manor. The rest in the room just smiling after the pair as Bella and Renesmee followed after them and then the sisters on the arms of the two most important and only parent figures they had left.
As they walked down the aisle their eyes were fixed on their soon-to-be-husbands and their eyes were fixed on them, as wide happy smiles spread across their faces and venom tears filled their eyes. They had never been so happy in all their long lives as they were in this moment; watching their beautiful brides walk towards them. They were ethereal there was no other word that could describe their beauty that would do it justice. At this moment all the hardships they had all faced seemed to be worth it if it led to this moment. After what seemed an eternity they finally reached Jasper, Garrett and Emmett who stood in front of the arbor with Kingsley behind them dressed in deep navy robes fit this occasion.
Charlie placed Tauri's hand in Jasper's and Larissa's hand in Garrett's, while Andromeda placed Thea's hand in Emmett's. Charlie and Andromeda kissed each of the girls' cheeks and gave the three vampires a warning look before taking their seats, Teddy sitting on his grandma's lap.
"You look so beautiful my darling." Jasper said aww as he kissed Tauri's hand. Besides them Garrett and Emmett were murmuring compliments to their own brides, and Thea and Larissa murmuring one's back to their grooms.
"You look handsome my cowboy." Tauri complimented as she leaned up to kiss his cheek as Jasper chuckled quietly.
"We are here today to witness and celebrate not one wedding, but three weddings." Kingsley said in his deep soothing baritone voice. "We'll start with Thea and Emmett as the eldest. Please hold your applause until after all three ceremonies." He said firmly looking over all the guests before turning to Emmett and Thea. "Do you Emmett McCarthy take Lady Amalthea Carina Potter to be your lawfully and magically bonded wife? To have and to hold, to love and to cherish from this day forth and in sickness and in health. Until death parts you?" Kingsley asked Emmett as a golden ribbon wrapped around their hands.
"I do." Emmett said happily, making the ribbon disappear for a moment so he could slip the beautiful diamond eternity wedding ring onto her finger.
As soon as the ring was on her finger the ribbon reappeared around their joined hands. "Do you Lady Amalthea Carina Potter take Emmett McCarthy to be your lawfully and magically bonded husband? To have and to hold, to love and to cherish from this day forth, in sickness and in health. Until death parts you?" Kingsley asked again.
"I do." Amalthea agreed making the ribbon sink into their skin and disappear as she slipped the large white gold eternity ring onto Emmett's left ring finger.
"Then by magic and the power as Minister of Magic I now pronounce you husband wife. You may now kiss the bride." Kingsley said happily as Emmett wrapped his arms around Thea's waist, Thea wrapping hers around his neck as they kissed each other passionately.
When they pulled apart Kingsley started speaking again to Garrett and Larissa.
Do you Garrett Cullen take Lady Larissa Phoebe Potter to be your lawfully and magically bonded wife? To have and to hold, to love and to cherish from this day forth and in sickness and in health. Until death parts you?" Kingsley asked Garrett as a golden ribbon wrapped around their hands.
"I do." Garrett said happily, making the ribbon disappear for a moment so he could slip the beautiful diamond eternity wedding ring onto her finger.
As soon as the ring was on her finger the ribbon reappeared around their joined hands. "Do you Lady Larissa Phoebe Potter take Garrett Cullen to be your lawfully and magically bonded husband? To have and to hold, to love and to cherish from this day forth, in sickness and in health. Until death parts you?" Kingsley asked again.
"I do." Larissa agreed making the ribbon sink into their skin and disappear as she slipped the white gold eternity ring onto Garrett's left ring finger, like hers it had a few diamonds on it.
"Then by magic and the power as Minister of Magic I now pronounce you husband wife. You may now kiss the bride." Kingsley said happily. Garrett smiled and pulled Larissa closer and kissed her passionately for several minutes.
Once they pulled apart Kingsley started speaking again for the final time.
Do you Major Jasper Andrew Whitlock take Lady Tauri Jocelyn Potter to be your lawfully and magically bonded wife? To have and to hold, to love and to cherish from this day forth and in sickness and in health. Until death parts you?" Kingsley asked Jasper as a golden ribbon wrapped around their hands.
"I do." Jasper said happily, making the ribbon disappear for a moment so he could slip the beautiful twisted diamond eternity wedding ring onto her finger.
As soon as the ring was on her finger the ribbon reappeared around their joined hands. "Do you Lady Tauri Jocelyn Potter take Major Jasper Andrew Whitlock to be your lawfully and magically bonded husband? To have and to hold, to love and to cherish from this day forth, in sickness and in health. Until death parts you?" Kingsley asked again.
"I do." Tauri agreed making the ribbon sink into their skin and disappear as she slipped the white gold eternity ring onto Jasper's left ring finger.
"Then by magic and the power as Minister of Magic I now pronounce you husband wife. You may now kiss the bride." Kingsley said happily. Jasper smiled as he pulled Tauri closer to him and kissed her passionately as everyone cheered and Hagrid blew his nose loudly into his table-sized handkerchief.
As the three now married couples walked back down the aisle leading the way back into the Manor for the reception, everyone chucked the confetti over the group as they laughed happily and unburdened by any worries. After a wonderful three course meal and many heartwarming speeches, especially given by the three husbands to their wives and sisters-in-laws who they loved and cherished like little sisters. The three couples cut the cake to many cheers, and danced the night away on the dance floor each one dancing with Teddy after the first dance. As he wanted a dance with his parents and his aunts and uncles. It truly was a wonderful and magical night, one that no one would ever forget.
