Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom or Spider-Man. I do not own the original story this is based on

The night sky was cold as the guards patrolled the grounds of a hidden Wayne research facility. While it wasn't enough to demand a jacket, the temperature annoyed the men as all was quiet.

Too quiet.

Quiet enough for a cat to sneak in undetected.

Felicia had been flown in close by, courtesy of her client. As far as anyone knew, the girl was up late studying at a private location.

Making her way in through a hole cut in the skylight, Black Cat made her way through the corridors, avoiding guards like the plague.

After several displays of being stealthy, she soon arrived at her destination.

"There it is," Black Cat said, staring at her target.

The client wanted an experimental sonic taser, the Knockout Wand. A device purposed to disarm people with concentratedly aimed high-frequency sound. Skyway Patrol had invested heavily into this, along with government officials and other companies like DevTech. After weeks of testing, the scientists had stated a breakthrough.

This made the project a grand leap in policing the streets and an even bigger target for those who knew its existence.

And Black Cat was in the same room with it, along with the laser grid linked to the automated defense system, motion sensor podium, and reinforced titanium walls programmed to entrap any intruder.

But Felicia knew she was not just anybody and relished the challenge the security system might bring.

"Alright, let's do this," She said as she pulled out her twin grappling hooks.

Leaping past the laser with grace and finesse, the thief added a few dance steps to liven up the mood. Laser grids had always been among the easier systems to bypass for someone like her.

The girl then launched herself high above the last few lasers, making a dive at the podium.

Almost landing near the podium, the girl thief took her grappling hook and fired mid-air, linking her to the ceiling and off the ground. She fired the second one to stabilize and fixate her position in the air.

Mere inches from the glass container.

"Come to kitty," Black Cat cooed. She cut open the glass and grabbed the device. Only for her hand to go through it.

"What the—" Black Cat whispered to herself. She smelled a trap.

"Yeah, I don't think you're gonna find it on the podium," came the voice of a girl. The catty thief looked to see her holding the Knockout Wand.

It was a confident crime-fighting cheerleader named Kim Possible.

Kim frowned at this thief. She had been hired to protect the device but expected someone else. She thought Drakken or Dementor would arrive, as per her norm, but it looks like they have a new foe. And while she didn't know Black Cat, Black Cat knew her.

"Well, well. If it isn't Kim Possible. Teen hero who takes the time for cheerleading," Black Cat declared dramatically. Her Cheshire grin seemed to belie her competence.

"Well, it looks like our new thief knows me. Can't say the same for you," Kim said, her stance never faltered as she eyed the catsuited girl.

"The name's Black Cat, Red."

"Wow, how original," Kim said. She rolled her eyes.

The same feelings couldn't be said for her friend.

"Boo-yah! Me-wowed!" Ron commented, mesmerized by the tight bodysuit and flirty eyes. The white was certainly doing favors.

Black Cat bowed in a flirty and exaggerated manner. It had been so long since she had some fun like this, but part of her felt a sting.

Kim, on the other hand, scoffed. "So not your type."

"How would you know?" Black cat asked before eyeing Ron. "Maybe I am."

"Really!?" Ron asked, very excited.

Kim turned back to scold her friend, but Black Cat took the opportunity to race past the girl. Reaching Ron in seconds, the thief delivered a kick to the head, knocking the poor boy out as Rufus, his naked mole-rat, came out of the pocket to comfort the boy. At that moment, the teen hero understood her new opponent better as the two stared down, both in martial art stances.

They circled each other, daring to take the first move.

"Was that really necessary?" Kim asked.

"You know what they say about three's a crowd. Besides," Black Cat gave a wink and a smirk. "when it comes to redheads, I just want to challenge them...more."

Kim frowned as she stared at her friend. While Ron is not always the most alert, he was her best friend for a good reason. Though part of her wished he didn't have a dazed and enamored look on his face.

And she wasn't going to let some thief in a skin-tight catsuit knock him out without consequences.

"Well then," Kim said. "Let's see how much of a challenge you can take."

"Oh la la," Black Cat teased, but she was even more excited for a fight. The last few rounds had been fun with Danny, but she welcomed a change of pace.

The girls danced around the beams as they fought. While it would make things easier to trip the alarms and trap the cat, Kim had confidence in her abilities.

So did Black Cat

"Let's see what you got, Red," Black Cat said as she threw a punch.

"Bring it," Kim said as she dodged.

The teen hero side steeped before jumping over part of the grid, leaving her thief to duck under in an attempt to land an attack. Their fight was something similar to a dance-off. Each girl would punch, kick, or dodge to win the battle.

"Let's end this," Black Cat said, leaping up.

"How about we make things even," Kim said. She brought out her kimmunicator and had her tech support, Wade, on-screen in a few seconds. "Wade! Now!"

In seconds the beams around the room, save for a few high up, disappeared.

"What!?" Black Cat cried out. "How did you—"

Black Cat was interrupted by Kim's punch. The feline flipped over as she landed on her feet.

Taking a moment to recover, Black Cat checked to see if she had bled. Luckily, no blood was found. She glared at Kim, who smiled smugly.

"Supergenius friend, now let's see what you got, Black Cat."

Black Cat almost lost her composure but cooled down, and she lunged towards her foe.

Kim ducked to sweep the leg, knocking the cat down. She would have followed up with a punch but was met with the air as her thief rolled sideways.

Black Cat used her arm to lift herself, allowing her to stand upright again.

The two girls eyed each other—Kim's eyes held determination and some annoyance. Black Cat had confidence in hers.

"You're tougher than you look," Kim said. Though her stance was strong, her voice had a slight panting. No one ever had put up this much of a fight.

"You're not too bad yourself, Red," Black Cat replied with a smirk. "You might make me change my mind about redheads."

"Oh, really?" Kim said sarcastically.

Black Cat nodded.

"I think it's time to kick things up a notch," Black Cat said as she stared into Kim's eyes with her glowing ones.

Kim, who had made eye contact, saw this and was confused. She ignores it as she ran toward her.

Black Cat smirked, knowing that her powers would kick in soon. And she was proven right as Kim lost her footing, sliding towards the cat. She was greeted with a kick to the chest.

"What the heck?" Kim said to herself, but shook it off and tried to continue with the fight.

Unfortunately, due to the bad luck, things were not in her favor.

Her shoes were starting to fall apart as her Kimmunicator sparked up. If she hadn't thrown it out of her pocket, the exploding device would have caused some real damage.

"It looks like you're not all that," Black Cat teased. She threw a punch at the girl, only for it to miss.

"So not the drama," Kim replied with a smirk, but she noticed the one on the cat didn't go away. Instead, the thief had grabbed her shoulder.

With a twist of her waist, Black Cat kneeled and threw Kim over her shoulder.

"No, I think you're wrong" the cat cooed.

She walked over to the girl. Reaching into Kim's pocket with a wink, the catty thief held in her hands the Knock Out Wand.

"Now, I may not need this with you, but my client wants this," Black Cat teased before putting the device away.

She would have walked away, had Kim not gotten up.

Kim was almost taken back by how Black Cat had gotten the best of her.

This is so not going to happen. She thought.

Not giving up the fight, the cheerleading heroine leaped to tackle the thief but was easily dodged.

Kim rolled up and turned around, but the jinx's effects were still coursing through her as she slipped. This gave the opening needed to knock her out, with the last thing that Kim saw was Black Cat's smirk.

The cheerleading heroine landed on the floor with a hard thud. The girl tried to get up but saw Black Cat already at the door.

"See ya, Red," the thief winked and threw a pair of pants up in the air. She left just as it hit one of the remaining beams, triggering the alarms, and trapping Kim and Ron inside as guards came. Turrets appeared from the walls, all of them aimed at the only people inside. Luckily they were wired directly to human controls, who assessed everything.

Kim gritted her teeth in anger.

"This is not over," She said in anger, staring at the closed door.

"I'm up! I'm up!" Ron shouted as he stood up, noticing the turrets aimed at him with the siren. Standing still, the boy looked around with his hands up. He had only one question.

"Uhhh, Kim? Why are my pants missing?"

All Kim did was groaned before laying her head on the floor. She'd rest for now but would make sure to find Black Cat next time.

Black Cat giggled as she made it outside. The cold air that greeted her felt almost refreshing.

As she left, the thief felt an emptiness. While the fight was challenging, even by her standards, part of the girl wanted more.

I wish Danny was here for the fight. Black Cat thought for a moment. She immediately shook her head, wondering why she would think that.

But decided to ignore for now.

Black Cat took off for the drop-off with her prize in tow, unaware of the hacked cameras.

From an unknown location, the client and his guests had seen the whole thing. The client wore a smug smile on his face while one of his guests walked closer to the screen. This man was in shock and awe as he demanded the fight to be played again.

"I kept saying she's not all that," Dr. Drakken said, his voice still awestruck. "I never knew such a day would occur when Kim Possible would be defeated.

The third person seethed with rage as her fists glowed green. She wanted nothing more than to blast the screen.

"Kitty just got lucky!" Shego said, still angry that someone, other than her, managed to make a fool out of Possible.

Ignoring his cohort's wrath, the blue man watched the fight again. He is unconvinced any of the video was real.

And he would have continued the encore had Shego not finally had enough and blasted the screen. She gave a scathing glare at the doctor, who backed away.

"I take it then we can work together in the future then, Dr. Drakken?" The client asked with his hand extended.

Dr. Drakken turned to the screen and grinned at the sight of his foe, still unconscious. He walked up to the man and looked him square in the eyes as they shook.

"Buddy! You got a deal!"

Danny Fenton had dealt with another day at school. Though his popularity skyrocketed, in part due to Felicia, the boy didn't bother with any events or parties. He was over such frivolities. Much to the dissatisfaction of Dash, who had somehow made efforts to include him his former target, despite his protests on doing so. However, he did still bully the boy when any invitation was rejected.

The ghost boy had even been greeted by Michelle Lynn Clark, the most popular girl in school and queen of seniors.

It may not be his cup of tea, but Danny found the passing days to be tolerant.

The only significant differences were how Sam wasn't hanging out with him as much anymore. The boy knew it was because of what she won't talk about, but he felt the matter to be getting out of hand.

He asked Tucker, but the boy was silent on the matter. The only comment he ever made was, "Dude, you might wanna look around town, sometimes."

Danny wished he knew what that meant, not noticing the stares from a nearby shop. Or at least was too preoccupied to care or realized.

"Well, Tuck's busy," the ghost boy commented after a series of texts. "I guess his video dates take longer than I thought. Oh well, guess an uneventful evening again."

Danny couldn't be more wrong about tonight. As he opened the door, he saw a guest sipping tea on the couch. The man wore a costly suit that was a regularity for him—a rarity for many of Amity Park's people.

"Why, hello, Daniel. So glad you could make it," Vlad Masters said in his usual faux politeness.

"Vlad!? What are you doing here!?" Danny asked. It seemed as if the other halfa's presence was a bad omen. Not that anyone who knew the two better could blame.

Unfortunately, his dad didn't know any better. He is blissfully oblivious about the tension as he started talking.

"Isn't it great? V man here had some time to chat. It's been great catching up. He was even curious about Felicia, and I told him about that trip you took to New York last weekend."

"You did?" Danny asked, not liking this. He looked to his arch-enemy, who gave him a fish eating grin.

"I must say though I haven't met the girl, she sounds like a real keeper," Vlad said, taking another sip. Though not without glancing at Danny.

"That's putting it lightly. The girl fixed one of my inventions," Jack bragged. This got Vlad's attention. "I'm telling you, Danny couldn't pick a better girl. Why I think I see a future Fenton in her."

"Dad!" Danny yelled. While it was embarrassing, evident by the boy's blush, there was no need to tell that to Vlad.

"Calm down, Dann-o. You know that I am just teasing," Jack said.

"There's no need to get upset, little badger," Vlad said smugly.

Danny glared at that.

"Don't you have a cat to attend to?" Danny snarked.

To the ghost boy's surprise, Vlad didn't react negatively. Instead, the man chuckled before asking Jack if he had anything to eat. The large man cried fudge and left for the kitchen.

Leaving the halfas to themselves.

"Honestly, Daniel," Vlad said, dropping the facade. "I know we have our differences and our battles, but I am quite happy with Maddie."

Danny rolled his eyes and mentally shuddered. Of course, Vlad named the cat after his mom.

"Though, to be fair, I'm not the only one to have found a cat," Vlad snarked.

The ghost boy said nothing but stared at the guy. He sat down and brought himself to eye level.

"I must say, Daniel, this one is a keeper as well. You should come by and babysit for me. One can't be everywhere at once."

"I'm sure," Danny said with gritted teeth.

"But anyway," the older halfa said, pretending to glance at his watch and getting up. "I'm afraid I simply must go now."

"Awww, going so soon, V man?" Jack asked, bringing in a tray of fudge.

"Sorry, old friend. Mayoral duties keep me on my toes. I only wanted to stop in and say hello."

Danny glared at the man. His face was calling him a liar. Something his enemy relished at.

From the door, Danny watched as the older halfa walked calmly down the streets. They both knew the boy to be watching. Whatever it was the man was planning, one was for sure.

"Things are gonna get harder."

And match up between Kim and Black Cat, and what a performance. But it would seem Ms. Possible had a run in with bad luck. For now. And Drakken is having a good day, save for an angry Shego.

Special Thanks! To Flower Princess11 for all her help!
