Alright kids….I know, I know I'm sure none of you ever thought you'd get another chapter for this one, I appreciate ya'll sticking around and being patient with my crazy ass. Its been many moons since I've been on here, with COVID keeping everyone at home, I find myself with some free time and creative ideas lol and also quite a few years older, I was 21 last time I updated this thing, I'm thirty now so hopefully that just improves upon the story; possibly my writing skills? I hope where ever ya'll are at, you're safe and sound. Now let just jump right on into her, shall we?

Chapter 10: Solitary Isolation

BPOV

Jake just kept staring while I held my hand to my chest. "Little mother fucker, he's lucky I don't just…..urgh I'm so pissed I could spit on him…I honestly should, spit right in his stupid dog….."

"Bella" I was brought out of my inner musings by Alice calling my name, sweet Ali…bringing me back down to earth, out of my murderous rage for that stupid little rat dog…fuck! Alright calm down queen, they're all staring now…chin up like the bad ass queen you are, now use your mouth to form some words and…

"Bellllaaaa" Alice yelled "I can see you're amusing yourself with your own thoughts but your friends are kind of concerned for your well being, speak, actual, words!" She stomped her foot for emphasis and I started to laugh much to her annoyance, Emmet in the background with a wee grin on his face, Jake still staring out into space…hes so lucky I have been practicing my self control, rat ass, googly eyed bastard….queen, you are a queen! Do not focus on his googly bastard eyes.

Chuckling I finally answered. "Sorry" I breathed "That hurt" Glaring at Jake who was still not totally paying attention, ugh dogs.

"I promise I am okay but like the rest of you" I sat down, hand still clutched to my chest. "My brilliant ass has no idea what this 'Black blood' means or why I seem to have it" I looked around to Jake still in his daze and rolled my eyes, making my voice louder "And if SOME PEOPLE" Emmet snickered "Would be so kind as to enlighten us, maybe we could come up with some sort of plan?"

Alice sat next to me checking my cut, which thankfully was almost completely healed, still the heat from the blood was there, so much so that Ali gasped when she finally put her hand to my chest.

"You're so HOT Bella! Oh my god what have you done to her?" Alice now frantically walking and talking a mile a minute about the incompetence of dogs and why on earth did she always have to be the responsible one and why oh why hadn't she thought to bring some more cannabis?! "I am way to stressed now, look at this mess" She gestured to her now frazzled pixie hair, sticking out in every direction. She looked sublime and if she kept pacing, we might find ourselves in a possibly embarrassing position.

Her muttering seemed to pull Jake out of his stupor who joined in with Emmet and I in our collective laughing fit.

"Ugh" she shrieked "You are all just so irritating, why do I always have to be the grown up? Hmm someone please tell me who died and made me the boss cause I don't remember saying yes to any of you!" Pointing a dainty finger in our direction, our laughing only grew louder, Emmet now lying on the ground howling along with Jake.

"First of all my dear" I slowly got up walking towards her "You have said 'yes' to me, plenty of times." I grinned as I neared her, breathing the last part of my sentence just close enough to her ear to make her shudder and become a more lovely, flustered pixie.

"Ohhh…you think you're hot stuff huh?" She growled out, though she couldn't hide the small grin tugging at the corner of her lips.

I grabbed her hand and kissed it. "I mean you've called me that too so…" I trailed off knowing that we had to get serious about the next part of our conversation, as much as I loved teasing Ali and laughing with the boys, I felt different, the heat had not left my chest even though the cut was now completely healed. Jake had to explain whatever he knew, we had to make a plan.

"Jake" I said simply "Can you please explain what this crazy, magic, bullshit is?"

Emmet laughed. "Always so eloquent isn't she?"

I grinned a toothy grin "Indeed sire, queen of the eloquent verbiage and don't you forget it." I crossed my arms for emphasis, I suppose I am also to blame for why we never get anywhere, perpetual procrastination in the form of jokes, yes this is who I am, wanna fight about it?

Emmet grinned and bowed, Ali giggled and rolled her eye's, Jake laughed standing up, crossing his arms; signaling the end to our banter getting down to business.

"Alright" Jake sighed, furrowing his brow "Okay before I start, I'm sorry I just cut you like that" He held his hands up in surrender "It was the only way to see if you really are the one of duality so to speak….like an eagle with two heads, you are a vampire but you have the ability to command werewolf power" We were all sitting now, listening intently as he spoke. "In a way, you are the ultimate, a being that can command both worlds, you could bring peace or…."

He turned looking me in the eye. "Or you cold bring ultimate destruction"

Emmet and Alice looked at me, I shrugged my shoulders and sighed, hands running through my hair. "So basically I could fix some shit or break some shit?"

Jake laughed and shook his head "How very Limp bizkit of you, essentially yes that's exactly what you could do"

I grinned, happy that someone got my reference, I'm not totally sure if Alice or Emmet know anything of 90's and early 2000's Nu metal but they should. I'll have to remember that for later.

Alice stood up, pacing between Jake and myself. "So, that's all fine and dandy, really great guys." She clapped her hands and rolled her eyes. "That still doesn't explain why Bella got so hot."

I chuckled and stood in front of her, stopping her pacing little feet. "One I have always been hot" I beamed, grinning at her "And two, I'm sure Jake was just getting around to that part." Alice scoffed, walked up to Jake, punched him in the arm and spoke. "Well budzo?"

Jake smiled and held his hands up once again in surrender. "I was just getting around to that part yes, thank you Bella" He sat down now gesturing for the rest of us to follow suit.

"Bella" He started "Is a special species, neither living nor dead and to a degree neither hot nor cold, her blood isn't the same as anything on this planet, if you were to look at it under a microscope; you wouldn't be able to identify what you were looking at."

He could tell that, if anything that still left us kind of confused.

"She's a vampire with unique blood.." He trailed off, gesturing as he spoke "She's full vampire, of that I am totally sure. Again its this whole duality thing, you are able to control other beings and since you're related to the original Vampire, you have power over wolves, part of our curse I suppose" He ran his hands through his hair and sighed, trying his best to explain "You my dear Bella are chosen, you seem to have what we natives call, 'The good and bad wolf' what you feed them will determine whether you 'fix shit or break shit'." He finished with a smirk.

Well aren't I just the coolest shit eh? I chuckled to my self, looking at Jake. "So I'm super dope and I'll save the world, I have to admit I like the sound of that but.." I stood up flexing my arms, crossing them on my chest. "Where does that leave us now?" Alice and Emmet looked to Jake who had a knowing smile on his face.

"Well now." He turned toward me grabbing me by the shoulders. "Now we awaken the 'wolf'." He made air quotes as he said it, putting his arms down and smiling "I'm not really sure what to else to call it, you're definitely not a wolf and yet you can harness wolf power" Alice sat back looking intently, she definitely wasn't so sure of this whole thing, Emmet jumped up and gave a loud howl, giving a Jake a shove he grinned at us all. "Well lets get this beesch all wolfed up or whatever Fido said." Leaning his big frame on Jake's shoulder, Jake took a step back letting Emmet fall to the ground. "Fido can't hold up your massive ass." He laughed. "We do however have much work to do my friends, the world kind of depends on it.

We all looked at Jake who had this evil looking grin, oh man what have I gotten myself into?

Jake's grin only became wider and slightly more crazy, if that was possible. "Lets get to work kids."

Ahhh man it feels good to have some direction back in this story, thank you all so kindly for your patience, I know its only been ten years or so since I updated. I promise it will not take me that long to get more chapters out now that I'm back. Please R&R :D
