The camera fades back to the Gophers already cooking their salmon dinner. It was already nighttime, and there were sounds of howling somewhere in the distance.
"Dudes," said a shivering Tom, "I'm a little nervous of being out… here…"
"So what?" questioned an uncaring Andie, "It's only for one night. Get over it, you big baby."
"What if there are bears?" asked Tom, "What if they come and eat us?"
Jasmine put a hand on the fashionista, trying to reassure him everything's all fine, "You don't need to worry, Thomas." she said, "They're probably all huddled up with family."
"How would you know if they even have a family?" Tom asked.
"Good point, dawg," agreed Winston, "Some bears just are left out where they could be kicked by the chrome-men."
"Chrome what?!" 'Sammy' called out, "Where are you from, Stupidville?! There is nobody who can be made of chrome!"
Winston glared at the cheerleader, "No, you idiot!" he snarled, "I meant, dudes with guns! They kill em with the chrome! Chrome, guns, ya dig?"
"Uh, yeah, not really…" 'Sammy' looked away, not caring anymore.
"Y'know, I don't really know what's gotten into you, Sammy…" said Jasmine.
Sammy turned to Jasmine, "What's that supposed to mean?"
"Lately, you've been so… rude to people…" Jasmine said, her hands on her hips, "Why is that?"
"Hey, I hate my sister as much as anyone else does, but…" Amy tried to think of a lie, "Um… well, I just… miss her… to death."
"You miss her?" Cody asked her, but trying not to expose her.
Amy glared daggers at the geek, causing him to fearfully scoot himself away from her. Andie took notice of this, but still couldn't tell Amy off either.
"Hey, man." she said, "You okay?" Cody looked at her, and nodded to her, trying to say that it was all okay, even though in his mind, he wasn't.
Suddenly, everyone starts hearing rustling bushes. The Gophers all started looking around to see where that was.
"Don't tell me…" quivered Tom, "Is that a bear?"
"Shut up…" hissed Andie, "You act like everything's out to get ya."
"Listen to Andie, Tom." agreed Cody, who was calm about the situation, "There's no bears around us. We're all good." But he looked around, a little nervous himself.
"Maybe it's just a squirrel…" suggested Emma, who stood up and walked over to investigate, "I can make sure of it."
Tom shook his head, still scared. "Chris did say there were bears around here…" he quivered.
But Emma just continued walking over to the source of the sound, where she made it to a few bushes. "Everything's gonna be fine." she says, "There's nothing to see, and-"
Just then, a bear pops out from one of the bushes, growling angrily at everyone, getting everyone to gasp at the sight of it. The camera shows Cody in a scared state, before it pans down to him peeing his pants.
"B-b-b-b-b-b-b-b-" Tom tried to say the word, but he couldn't.
Andie slapped him on the head, "Say it, you pussy!"
"BEEEEAAAARRRR!" screamed Tom, as the bear roared in everyone's faces, ready to attack the team.
Everyone screamed in horror from the bear's roar.
Emma looked over to the giant tree nearby. "Everyone up on the tree!" she ordered, before taking off. The rest of the Gophers followed suit without a second guess.
Somewhere else in the forest, the camera panned down to see the Bass, whom they had already cooked their trout on the crackling fire. There were coos from an owl somewhere far away, which scared Bridgette.
"You good, Bridgette?" asked Harold.
"Sorry…" Bridgette told him, "I just get really freaked out in the forest." She rubbed her arm in embarrassment.
"This reminds me of this really scary story I heard once." Duncan got everyone's attention.
"Lemme guess," teased Kitty, "You were nearly killed by someone…"
"No." Duncan bluntly told the selfie lover, but what she said about him nearly getting killed by someone got him to shake his head, feeling tense. But then he covered his feelings away and continued, "This story's really hardcore…"
Chelsea rolled her eyes, "Yeah right…" she grumbled, "Amateur…"
"Alright." said Duncan, sighing in mock defeat, "But don't say I didn't warn you." He started to go into story mode, "One night, a lot like this one…"
The camera cuts to the full moon, with fog eerily covering it. Duncan had already talked about the context of the story; most of it.
"So suddenly, they heard this tap-tap tapping on the side of the car," Duncan kept narrating.
Everyone (except for Ennui) was focused on the story, with some of them feeling scared of where it was all going…
"The girl started to freak out," said Duncan, "And by this time, the guy was getting a bit scared. So he turned the car on and he stepped on it! When they got back to the girl's house, she opened the door and screamed!"
Duncan was shown with a sinister smile, the kind that would intimidate any crook, "Because there, hanging from the door handle… was the bloody hook!"
Sam and Kitty were seen holding each other, as the camera panned to see Ezekiel and Benny holding each other. The camera cuts to Harold and Bridgette hugging each other, before it shows Chelsea gripping onto Ennui, who didn't seem to care.
"They say this killer is still alive, wandering these very woods…" Duncan kept narrating, "He could be just about anywhere, really. Maybe even right… HERE!" Duncan went crazy-eyed insane as a hook was seen right next to him.
There was a shot of the hook, as most of the Bass screamed in terror.
The Bass were cowering in fear, before they heard Duncan laughing that they fell for it. He had worn the hook on his right hand.
"Duncan!" yelled an irate Chelsea, "What the hell?! You almost gave us all a heart attack!"
"I know!" laughed Duncan, "I just wish it was all on camera!" Duncan looked over to the cameras, "Oh wait, it is!"
Chelsea growled at the delinquent, before rolling her jacket sleeves up, "Why I oughta…"
Suddenly, Ennui came to her aid, pressing his hand on her shoulders. "Hey," he said, "Don't try to sweat it…" Chelsea let out a deep sigh, relieved before she could lay a finger on Duncan.
Ennui turned his attention to the storyteller. "Your story was pathetic." he said.
Duncan stopped laughing and glared at the goth, "What?" he questioned, "I just told a story about a killer with a hook, preying on a girl! What part of that isn't scary?!"
"I find your story… predictable." Ennui explained, "I knew you were going to have that hook. Who else had their arms behind their back?" He put his right hand behind his back to mock the delinquent.
"Whatever…" Duncan rolled his eyes.
Suddenly, the Bass started hearing noises from a couple yards away from them. This was enough to trigger one of the contestants.
"Uh… w-what was that?!" quivered Bridgette.
"Relax, sunshine," mocked Duncan, "It was probably just a squirrel…"
As on cue, the Bass started hearing clamping noises and leaves getting crumbled, with almost everyone concerned (minus Ennui and Duncan). "Could a squirrel be that big?!" Bridgette pointed out.
Duncan went over to the source of the sound, "Okay, now you're being too over the top." he told her, "One story, and you all want to go back to your mommies…"
"Shut up, Duncan!" hissed Chelsea. Duncan smirked at the alternative girl, before looking through the bush.
"Didn't Chris say that there were bears?" asked Sam.
"Could they be attracted to our food?" suggested Kitty, eyeing the trout above the fire.
"Duncan, don't…" Bridgette tried to tell him. But Duncan wasn't paying attention. He opened the bush up to reveal…
A black bunny. In fact, the same black bunny Ennui had tried to get off earlier.
Duncan turned to his team with a taunting smile, "Stay calm. It can probably smell your fear…" (1)
Some of the Bass took a sigh of relief, while Bridgette still looked scared, Chelsea rolled her eyes, and Ennui just stared unemotionally.
"Honestly…" said Duncan, "You all need to take a chill pill…" He pressed his elbow against a tree, only… it wasn't a tree. Does a tree have brown fur on it? I'll let you be the judge of that!
"Uh, Duncan?" Ezekiel tried to say to him.
"Look, nature sucks, and I don't blame you." Duncan tried to tell them, "But chin up."
"Duncan, behind you." Kitty warned him.
"Just because the world can be scary, doesn't mean there's a massive chance something horrible'll happen to you."
"No really, behind you!" Bridgette pointed out.
"Let me finish!" Duncan informed, "And just 'cause our 'friendly neighborhood host' said that there was gonna be bears, and that 'one might've eaten an intern', doesn't mean we might get eaten too. Remember that."
"For f**k's sake!" an exasperated Chelsea shouted, "Look behind you!"
"Looks like someone has anger issues." taunted Duncan.
Chelsea glared intensely at the punk. "Fine." she said, bluntly, "It's your funeral, for all I care."
Duncan let out a chuckle, before turning around to finally see what was behind him that everyone else was warning him about.
A roar was what the creature made, as it menacingly glared at the Bass, eyeing the food.
"Oh well…" said a nonchalant Duncan, "We all bite the dust eventually, so..." He walked off without even thinking of the dangers that were to happen to him and his team.
Suddenly, the bear shoves Duncan to the ground, causing most of the Bass to scream.
"Run!" yelled Bridgette, as everyone did as they were told. Duncan picked himself up as the bear was distracted and crept away.
The camera shows Benny and Ezekiel, both of whom were running like the wind. "Oh man!" cried Zeke, "I wish we were like the Gophers and not in danger, eh?!"
The Gophers weren't really doing any better, as the camera cuts to them, all of whom had climbed up the giant dead tree.
"Okay, like, now what?" Tom asked Andie.
"You're asking me?!" Andie retorted, "Don't look at me, I don't know how to fight angry bears! Besides, Emma's the one who told us to climb this damn tree!" She turned to Emma, "What now?"
"I-I'm not sure…" quivered Emma, "Stay here, maybe?!"
"No, we can't!" 'Sammy' declared, "One of us has to fight that thing!"
"Fight it?!" cried Emma.
"Yeah!" said 'Sammy', as she grabbed a hold of Devin's leg, "Let's have this loon fight it!"
"Why me?!" quivered Devin.
"You chuck a dodgeball like Zeus!" (2)
"Well do you see a dodgeball?" Devin inquired, "No you don't…"
"Exactly, man!" agreed Monica, "Leave him outta this!"
"Okay then…" said 'Sammy', "Why don't you get down to take that bear?"
Monica gulped.
"Girls, we don't need to go fight the bear, okay?" suggested Cody, covering his wet pants, "Besides, we're safe up here!"
"Trust!" agreed Tom.
Suddenly, the bear started to become enamored by a certain fishy scent. It turned around and saw the salmon, already being cooked over the fire.
"Someone fight that thing!" Andie yelled, "It's gonna eat our dinner!" She grabbed Tom by the collar of his shirt.
"No way!" he said in defiance, "I'm not gonna earn my sexy butt a bite mark!" Andie, Amy, and Cody looked at him weirdly.
It wouldn't be long until Andie, 'Sammy', and Tom each start shoving each other, trying to push each other off the tree so that one of them could fight the bear. Cody, who was on the same tree branch, was watching them, as were the rest of the team.
"Somebody do something, one of them's gonna fall!" Emma pointed out.
"I ain't gonna get in that fray, dawg!" Winston shook his head.
The trio were still fighting each other, when all of the sudden, Andie shoves Amy, who grabs Cody, and they both fall; onto the bear!
The bear growled in discomfort as both teens landed on top of it.
The Gophers, on the other hand, were in shock. "Both of you, get outta there!" yelled Jasmine.
The bear leapt up on its two legs and growled menacingly at the two teens.
"Uhhhh… nice bear?" Cody tried to say, only for the bear to respond with a vicious roar.
"Sacrifice the geek!" yelled 'Sammy' as she shoved Cody into the bear and made a mad dash away.
"AA-!" shouted Andie, almost yelling Amy's name, as she saw Cody hit the bear's chest.
"No! No! NOOOOOO!" Cody screamed as the bear proceeded to maul him.
The camera showed the horrified Gophers, as they all witnessed Cody getting ripped to shreds. Jasmine was beyond terrified, not only was a bear mauling down a poor geek, but that Sammy would do something very horrible. Winston had hidden his face behind the tree. Emma was shaking her head in horror, disbelief, and regret; if she didn't regret putting together an alliance with Amy and Andie, she does now one-hundred percent. Monica was near tears watching the attack. Devin was comforting her, but he was scared himself too. Tom was holding his legs, hoping the bear wouldn't attack him as well. But the one who was most in shock was Andie, of all people, who was nearly going to lose it! But she knew that someone had to stop it.
She turned to Tom. "Do something already!" she yelled, trying to pull herself together.
"There's no way I'm gonna-" Tom began, only for Andie to grab him by the neck and throw him to the ground.
The bear looked up to see Tom, who let out a groan when he hit the ground. The bear was about ready to attack the fashionista…
"No!" Tom cried, "You wouldn't wanna hurt me too! I'm too handsome!" But the bear was already locking its sight on him, forgetting Cody as the geek laid nearly unconscious.
The camera showed Winston, who peered from the tree, and saw that the bear was about to eat Tom.
"Hoooh man…" Winston sighed, as he started to consider his options. He looked up and saw a few branches hanging over him.
The bear raised its claw to attack Tom, who let out a scream, only for it to get hit by a broken branch.
The camera showed Winston again, as he hurled another branch towards the bear. (2)
"Winston, what are you doing, mate?!" Jasmine cried out, but Winston ignored her and jumped down like a wrestler, landing on the bear.
The camera showed Winston pinning the bear on its back, also having his arm on its neck. Meanwhile, Tom saw Cody, who was still near unconscious, and ran over to him without getting the bear's attention.
The fashionista hoisted the geek over his shoulders and ran straight back to the tree, just as Winston knocked the bear unconscious. As soon as the slum boy saw it counting sheep, he picked the bear up effortlessly and ran off with it.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Gophers checked on Cody, who had a black eye and a bunch of nasty scratches on his torso. His shirt and pants had tears, and his piss stain was dried.
"Cody!" Andie exclaimed, as she started checking on his condition.
Emma and Jasmine leapt down from their branches to inspect, as Tom climbed up to Monica and Devin's. "Oh my god!" Jasmine exclaimed, "You really need medical attention!"
"Shouldn't we get Chris or a medic?" Emma suggested.
"Or we have this first aid kit…" Tom held out a white first aid kit with a red cross.
"Does anyone know how to treat a bear attack on someone?" asked Emma.
"Well, don't look at me!" Tom argued, "I haven't done something other than walk around with this!" He shook the first aid kit.
"I'm not much of a medic either…" Emma retorted. The rest of the Gophers looked at each other, wondering what they needed to do.
*CONFESSIONAL: Cody*
Cody: (covered with bandages; giggles) Okay, I know I got mauled by a bear, but I feel good about this! I'm a quick healer. One day, people'll treat me with all the medication I need. Next day, I'll be walking like nothing happened the day before!
*END CONFESSIONAL*
On the ground, Andie was bandaging Cody up. However, she was missing out a few of his wounds.
Tom noticed this and went over to assist, "Hey, I think you're missing a cou-"
He was slapped on the cheek by the rebel, "Stand back, sweetheart!" she hissed.
Tom glared at Andie. "I really, really, don't get why you're mad at ME!" he retorted, "Y'know, you're not the one who risked their sexy ass to save Cody! Else he'll probably be even worse!"
"Oh what a hero you really are…" mocked Andie.
"Y'know, you could be a little more kinder to me for saving him?" Tom asked with his arms folded, "If anyone should be getting yelled at, it should be you! You shoved me off the tree!"
"What are you, a cop?" asked Andie as she attached another bandage onto Cody, "All you do is act like a loser who wants to wear overrated rags just to feel rich…"
Jasmine and Emma stepped in before Tom could say something else, "Would you two quit fighting each other?!" asked Jasmine, "One of our members got mauled by a bear, and the last thing we need is everyone bickering!"
Andie stopped bandaging Cody and turned away from the trio and said, "I don't need your chivalry, lass…" This got all of them, except for Cody, to glare at the ignoring rebel.
Emma looked around. "Hey, has anyone seen Winston?" she asked.
"Yo!" Winston's voice was heard, as the camera panned to see Winston running out of the forest. As soon as he came back to his team's campground, he stopped and started panting.
"What happened to you?" asked Devin.
"So… bear was out like it was dimin'…" Winston told the group as he was trying to collect his breath, "But was still breathin', man… So I let it daze 'cross a river, few kilos from homebase… Probably won't remember where we at…"
"How did you pick up a bear without busting your back?" asked Monica.
"Edmonton's given me a lotta rough skin…" said Winston, "One time, I took out my ex's crib."
"Oh… really?" asked a weirded out Devin. When Winston nodded, Devin asked how.
"Kicked it to the brink, the whole unit started leanin' against a building." Everyone else looked at Winston for a few seconds, before someone else said something.
"Where's Sammy?" asked Jasmine, "She needs to come back here!" She walked near the edge of the forest, "Sammy! Sammy, where are you, sheila?!"
Deep in the forest, Amy was long, far away from the Gophers. She stopped to catch herself after sprinting all this time. She had hoped that the bear wouldn't catch up to her. But she was optimistic that she outran it.
"Okay…" she said, "Like, where am I?!"
She looked all around and saw just mostly trees, with a cave several feet from her.
"Well gag me… I ain't going in there…" she grumbled as she looked at the cave.
Suddenly, she started hearing howling from somewhere far away, causing her to become fearful. Her only other option was to walk through the forest, risking potential attacks from animals craving her flesh. So she strode off into the cave.
Meanwhile, the Bass were still being attacked by the bear. Duncan, who had hidden behind a tree, peered to the side to see where it was. He could only see that the bear was ripping their tent to the ground.
"Fantastic…" said a sarcastic Duncan.
Suddenly, he started hearing grunting. Duncan tilted his head to see Sam, who was hiding behind the tree next to him.
"Caw, caw!" the gamer made noises, before making more grunting sounds, blowing raspberries, and whistling. Suddenly, he was hit in the back of the head.
"Do I have to ask what you're doing?" Duncan asked, who stood right behind him.
Sam turned around to face the criminal, "Hey man!" he greeted, "I was just using animal sounds to distract the bear!" He went back to grunting and whistling, as Duncan rolled his eyes, annoyed.
Sure enough, the bear heard Sam's animal cries. After destroying the Bass' tent, it started stomping towards the duo.
Duncan leered at the gamer, "Way to go, buddy." he sarcastically congratulated.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Ennui stood in front of the duo, staring the bear down, not even afraid in the slightest of what it was going to do to him.
"Uh, Ennui, what are you doing?" Sam asked.
"I'll hold him off…" the goth told them, "You two better scurry along. Find the others if you may…"
Duncan rolled his eyes, "Okay dinner meat…" he said, nonchalantly, "Should we write your epitaph as, 'This is why I f***'d up?'" Sam couldn't help but chuckle at his statement.
Ennui ignored Duncan and kept on staring down the bear, just as the bear growled at the goth, menacingly approaching him.
As soon as the bear got a few feet from the goth, he roared in his face, and his hair was blowing back. Ennui closed his eyes, as well as making a nearly silent sound. It almost sounded like a gulp.
Sam had his eyes shut, fearfully hugging Duncan, as the latter was indifferent with what was about to happen, not even caring that a nerd was holding onto him.
The bear raised its paw to attack Ennui…
Only for something to hit it in the face.
Ennui opened his eyes to see the same black bunny from before, standing in between him and the bear. The bunny growled venomously at the giant creature.
The bear roared at the bunny, not even scared. It was a giant bear versus a small bunny. What could go wrong?
The bunny sprung upwards and smacked the bear in the face again, as the bear fell back to the ground, groaning.
The bear tried to get back up, only for the bunny to hop on top of it and bounce on its face, much to the bear's discomfort.
The camera showed Duncan, who was still indifferent, Sam, who was shocked, and Ennui, who still wore his gargoyle persona, but someone could tell that behind it all, he was surprised.
Eventually, the bunny picked the bear up by the ear and bounced into its nose, causing the bear to flinch, a few tears coming from its eyes.
The bear regained its posture to see the bunny growling at it. The bear ran away in a fright, running as fast as its legs would carry. It wouldn't be long until it was long gone.
Meanwhile, the bunny turned to Ennui. A few seconds went by before it jumped into the goth's arms, much to the trio's confusion.
"What the heck?" Sam pointed out, "It just goes into cuddly mode after taking on a bear?!"
As uncomfortable as Ennui was having to have a bunny in his arms, he remembered that the bear was going to attack him and his teammates. "Wow." he flatly said, "Whatever you did… That was just… something. I… I have no words…"
The rest of the Bass went out from hiding and cheered that the bear was all gone.
"Holy cow!" Kitty exclaimed, "That bunny just went and took on a bear as if it was a piece of wood!" She turned around, and took a selfie of Ennui and the bunny. The flash caused the bunny to get timid and bounce away into the forest.
"Great." Ennui said without a change in mood, "You scared him off…"
Kitty let out a giggle, "Sorry, Ennui." she said, "Thought I'd seize the moment for ya." She showed the uncaring Ennui her picture of herself, him, and the bunny. "I can always send it to you after the game." Ennui said nothing else.
Suddenly, Chelsea went up and hugged him tight. "Are you okay, Ennui?" she asked, "I was so worried about you! I thought you were gonna be eaten up!"
"Yeah, we all thought you were gonna lose your free trial of living…" a smirking Duncan said. Chelsea glared at the punk. She picked up a rock from the ground and tossed it at his chest. He reacted like it didn't hurt at all.
Meanwhile, Ennui was looking out into the forest, wondering where that bunny was.
*CONFESSIONAL: Ennui*
Ennui: Maybe I wasn't thinking straight. That bunny was brave enough to get rid of the bear. I couldn't have done the same. Maybe… (breathes in, breathes out) Maybe that bunny has something that turns me on, the way I turn it on…
*END CONFESSIONAL*
Back in the cave, Amy was lying on a rock. She was looking all around, hoping that the bear hadn't followed her. However, her stomach started growling. She really hadn't eaten anything since… Well, she really didn't eat much all day. She was totally starving.
"Uhhh…" she moaned, "I'm so hungry…"
Suddenly, she had a realization. She had saved some blue berries from her pocket.
"Heh heh… Lucky me for keeping these…" She picked a berry from her hand. But before she did, she looked at the camera with a smug look, "I wonder if 'sheila' told me these were nightshade just so that she could scare me…" She popped on berry into her mouth, before looking at the rest of the berries in her hand. She popped all of them into her mouth without any hesitation whatsoever.
A few seconds after eating all the berries, she started thinking of what had happened. "That wasn't too bad…" she said.
On cue, a few seconds later, she started feeling something scratchy in her throat. "Oh… my throat…" she complained, as she started scratching it. Just then, she started having a coughing fit.
Just when she thought it couldn't get any worse, her cheeks started to turn red, as the mean twin started struggling for breath. It was that moment that she realized that she had eaten nightshade berries!
She tried to call for help, but her cries were incoherent, and she couldn't say something without choking. Eventually, she fell over, still struggling for breath.
Somewhere else in the forest, the bear that had been attacked by the bunny was still running away from the Bass' campsite. Suddenly, it tripped on something, causing it to land on a small hill.
The 'hill' started groaning in pain, as it picked itself up, revealed to be the bear that tried to attack the Gophers' campsite. It was still in a daze after being in a chokehold from Winston. Nonetheless, it growled for revenge.
It looked around, trying to find where the Gophers were. Eventually, it found a small light a few kilometers from where it and the other bear were, getting the dazed bear to growl and walk in a menacing tone. The other bear shrugged and followed its buddy.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Gophers had already eaten their dinner.
"Man!" stated Winston, "That was worth the wait!"
"Yeah, thanks Jasmine." Monica told the Aussie.
"My pleasure." said Jasmine.
Andie turned to Cody, who was regaining conscious, "You feeling better, Codester?" she asked.
Cody giggled, "Definitely! I'm sure that tomorrow, I'll be back on my feet no matter what!"
"Cool." said Andie, as she lit up her cigar, inhaled it, and exhaled, a cloud of smoke coming from her mouth.
Suddenly, bushes started rustling from right behind the Gophers.
Jasmine stood up and immediately assumed 'Sammy' was back, "Well crikey!" she exclaimed, "You're back, Sammy!"
"You talkin' 'bout the she-dog that shoved Codester to the bear?" asked Winston, crossing his arms.
Jasmine ignored Winston and walked over to the bushes, "Sammy, we saved you some salmon. Would you like to have some before it gets cold?"
But the rustling wouldn't stop, much to the rest of the Gophers' concern.
"I don't think that's Sammy…" Tom shook his head, as Emma and Andie did the same.
Jasmine turned to the rest of her group, "That's preposterous. She wouldn't miss us at all." She opened the bushes, and she found two bears menacingly growling towards her. "Oh blimey…" she gasped as she saw the bears again.
Everyone gasped in horror, and the camera shows Cody pissing his pants again.
"Run away!" yelled Jasmine, as she and the rest of the Gophers dashed for it to the tree.
Back at the Bass' camp, the Bass were looking at the state of their tent, which was covered with rips from the bear that attacked them.
"Well that's just great…" Chelsea pouted, "Now we have nowhere to sleep!"
Duncan turned to the alternative girl, "Yo, drama queen, relax!" he told her, "Everything's cool."
"How?!" Chelsea exclaimed, "Our campsite's been obliterated and we're stuck without any shelter!" She kicked a nearby rock. "This cannot get any worse!"
At that moment, she felt a drop off her head. It wouldn't be long until it started downpouring, accompanied by a low rumble of thunder. Duncan smirked at her.
"I'm just gonna go to bed before I question why I was even conceived…" Chelsea simply said, going to the ground. Duncan kept on smirking at her.
The camera shows Amy, who was still in the cave, lying on the ground, her face all swelled up from the nightshade she ate. Then it shows the rest of the Gophers, all of whom were stuck in the tree as the two bears surrounded them. Then it shows the Bass, with Ennui holding up a large leaf for shelter, with every Bass member sitting underneath and Chelsea already fast asleep.
The camera faded to the next morning, where the sun was shining brightly. It panned down to see the Gophers, with Emma stretching her back and Jasmine keeping a lookout.
"I think the coast is clear, guys…" Jasmine told her teammates.
Cody was shown being carried by Andie, "Yeah." he said, "It'd be good to not get mauled again…"
Devin picked up the team's map, which was sopping wet, covered with tears and mud stains, "Welp… Wonder how we're gonna get back…" he said.
The rest of the team looked at each other, wondering how they were going to get back.
Meanwhile, the Bass were all sleeping. It wasn't long until they started waking up.
"Man…" yawned Harold, "What time is it?"
"Time to get a watch?" poked Duncan, as a few of the Bass chuckled. Just then, he turned to see Chelsea lying on top of Ennui.
"Aw-haww…" Duncan chuckled, "Someone's cuddling with someone else…"
Chelsea woke up to hear what Duncan said. As did Ennui, as Sam knelt down to their level.
"So, did you ever think of yourself being conceived?" the game junkie asked.
The alternative girl responded by slapping him in the face. "No, but I might if you ask me again." she told him.
Ennui raised himself from the ground. "Had a good night's sleep?" he asked.
"Totally." said Chelsea, "I kinda didn't mind, but I like the sound of rain." She hoisted herself up and started stretching.
Meanwhile, Amy, whose swelling finally died down, picked herself up. However, another side effect may have started up.
"Ohhhh maaaannnn…" groaned Amy, who was swaying back and forth, "I feel soooooo warrmmm…" She started itching her chest. This got her to take her shirt off, leaving only her bikini. Then she started taking her shoes and socks off, leaving her barefoot. "Ahhh… that's better…"
She saw two figures standing in front of her. "Wh-what are you doing here?"
The camera flipped to see the two bears. Both of them roared at the cheerleader.
However, Amy wasn't scared by them. "Noooo…" she moaned, "Nooo, mommy and daddy… Don't put me in the caaaarrr sssseeeaaatt… Saxxxoooon will beeeeeeaaaattt meeeeeeeeee uuuuuuuuppppp!"
Suddenly, Amy flopped herself on the ground and starting rolling, "Leeeaaave me alooonne Saxon…" she whined, "Leeeave me allllooooonnnne!" She started rolling away from the cave, leaving the bears in confusion.
There is a time skip, where it shows Chris back at the campfire, patching things up before the teams finally arrive. He was putting logs in his campfire for the elimination.
Suddenly, he hears footsteps charging onto the scene. He turns around with a smile to see the Screaming Gophers, all of whom were tired from all the running.
"There…" Emma was panting, "We made it."
At the same time, the Killer Bass arrived at the campfire, equally tired.
"Oh no!" cried Kitty, "The other team's here! We lost!"
"Well that sucks…" Duncan shook his head.
Chris walked up from behind them, "Uh uh uh uh, not so fast, Basserinos!" he told them, "It seems that the Screaming Gophers are missing one of their pack!" He pointed to the team in question with his two pointer fingers.
"Who, Sammy?" asked a coy Andie, "She probably got mauled by a bear or something…"
"Truth." said Winston.
Meanwhile, Jasmine shook her head upon hearing two of her teammates talk badly about Sammy. Suddenly, everyone starts to hear a voice.
"Ugh!" yelled a now bikini-less Amy, holding it on her index finger, "Screw you Saxon, you no-life little… eugh! Someone oughta shoot you right between the eyes! Bleughleughleuah! Mommy and daddy neverrrrr listen to meeeeee!"
"Uh, Sammy?" Jasmine asked, concerned about her 'friend'.
"And here's what I have to say to yooooouuu…" she said 'you' in a high pitched voice, before she uncovered her skirt towards the Killer Bass, and started breaking a massive wind.
Most of the Bass could only recoil in disgust as they were in the hot zone for her intestinal wind-breaker.
'Sammy' turned back around, shaking back and forth, "Y-yeah… That's what I… have to do to YOU, Saxon!"
The camera showed the Bass all fanning the stench away from them as much as possible, before Benny fainted from the intense smell.
"Ahem, are you done?" asked Emma.
'Sammy' turned around to face the law school hopeful, still woozy.
"I hope so, because we just lost the challenge!" she berated, "And it's all on YOU!"
"Alright, Screaming Gophers!" Chris pointed to them, "One of your tiny tails is going home!" He turned to face the Killer Bass, "Fishies!" (Most of) The Bass smiled when Chris announced, "You're going on an all-expense paid trip toooo… the tuck shop!"
(Most of) The Bass celebrated as a 'cha-ching' sound effect was heard in the background, and they all ran off to relish off their reward.
Meanwhile, the Gophers were all having unhappy looks on their faces. Cody, who was still bandaged up from the bear attack, was sad about not getting the reward, Monica lightly kicked a stone and looked down at the ground, Tom facepalmed, Devin and Winston shook their heads and folded their arms, Jasmine looked disappointed, and Emma and Andie glared at 'Sammy'.
"You suck, Saxon! You suck hard! Blalalalalleugughgh! Y-yeah... that's what I have to saaayyy to you..." the woozy Amy kept it up.
"She ate nightshade…" Jasmine could tell what 'Sammy' was hooked on.
The camera pans a few hours later, where the Bass were lounging about at their cabin, eating their smorgasbord of snacks and soda.
"Aww man!" Ezekiel stated, holding a bag of chips, "This is awesome, eh? Who knew there were so many snacks I didn't even know exist!" He ate a few chips from the bag.
"You're in luck, Zeke." said Bridgette, who was holding a few maple creme Oreos, "When you go to a tuck shop, you luck out with getting these…"
"A-hal-right!" Sam exclaimed, holding up an extra large bag of chips and a carton of ice cream, "The Killer Bass rule!" He turned to Duncan, "Yo, you gonna finish those chocolate Twinkies?"
Duncan rolled his eyes and held out his arm that held the chocolate Twinkie bag, "Go crazy."
Sam immediately responded by taking out a few chocolate Twinkies, and then opened his ice cream carton, before mashing them with the Twinkies and potato chips. This got everyone disgusted.
"Uh, why?" asked Chelsea.
"Hey, I like to be creative!" defended Sam, "And I like salt and sugar together; kinda balances the two evils together." He took out a spoon from out of nowhere, scooped his little 'concoction ice cream', and swallowed it whole. "Mmmmm…" he chuckled, "That's the spot…"
Chelsea walked off from the rest of the group, to the back of their cabin.
After a few seconds of leaning beside it, thinking, she heard footsteps. Turning around, she spotted Duncan. "What do you want?" she asked him, venomously.
"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry I ticked you off last night." Duncan simply said, with his right hand behind his back.
Chelsea didn't say anything. She just stared at the punk, still feeling uncomfortable
"Look man… It's just a story… Besides, there's no such thing as a hook-man…" said Duncan, before he made a wide-eyed, sadistic grin, "Or is there?!" He held out…
His right fist.
Duncan immediately noticed this and became confused. He turned around to see Ennui behind him, with Duncan's spinning on his finger.
"You really need to stop that." Ennui flatly stated, "You're only making yourself look even worse…" Duncan rolled his eyes.
The camera shows the exterior of the island later that night, where it zooms on to the raging bonfire.
The camera switches to the Screaming Gophers, whom they were all seated, and they were all tired. Cody was fully healed thanks to what he was treated from the infirmary, as was Amy, who was no longer hallucinating, but she still had her beauty mark covered, still impersonating Sammy.
Chris stood in front of them, behind his vat podium, "Well, I see that a few members have been fully treated in the infirmary…" he said, as 'Sammy' and Cody nodded, "Good. You've all cast your votes. The camper who does not receive a marshmallow must immediately hit the Dock of Shame, grab the Boat of Losers, and get the heck outta here! And, you can't come back. Ever!"
The Gophers already knew what Chris was talking about. They've been at elimination twice, now three times.
"Now, I can see you're all tired, so tonight, I'll just throw 'em to you. Savvy?" Chris held up the first marshmallow.
"Emma." The law school hopeful caught her marshmallow.
"Monica." The emo caught her marshmallow.
"Tom." The fashionable boy caught his marshmallow.
"Devin." The tech guy caught his marshmallow.
"Winston." The slum boy caught his marshmallow.
"Jasmine." The Aussie caught her marshmallow.
This left 'Sammy', Cody, and Andie. 'Sammy' was smirking at Cody, Andie was scowling at Amy, and Cody was feeling indifferent.
"Now, you three each have one vote…" Chris addressed the trio, "The question is… Which two of you are actually safe?"
*CONFESSIONALS: Amy, Andie, & Cody*
Amy: People will forget about what I did… I know my team will eliminate 'poor, innocent' Cody, 'cause they'll see him as 'gag-me' baggage on our team. (chuckles wickedly) My team's so full of idiots, Andie and I will rule this competition with an iron fist! (she holds up her right fist)
Andie: Y'know, I was planning on dumping Amy a little later than usual, but after the way she acted last night… (shakes her head) Nope, don't think so.
Cody: (shudders) I just hope someone doesn't vote me out tonight…
*END CONFESSIONALS*
Chris held up the second-to-last marshmallow, "Alright." he said, "The first person safe is…"

"Cody."
The geek happily caught his marshmallow. This left Andie, who kept on scowling at Amy, and 'Sammy', who became confused, before worriedly looking at the host.
"Ladies…" Chris told them, as he held up the final marshmallow, "This is the final marshmallow of the evening."

"Samey." The cheerleader caught her marshmallow, as she turned to see her 'unaware-she's-not-her-alliance-mate-anymore'.
Andie stood up, upset by the results. "Seriously?" she questioned her team, "Which one of you dodos were responsible for sending me outta here?!"
The camera showed a smirking Tom.
*CONFESSIONAL: Tom*
Tom: To be fair, as much as I wanted Sammy out for leaving Cody to die, it was Andie who shoved both of them to the ground.
*END CONFESSIONAL*
*FLASHBACK*
It shows the previous night, where Tom, 'Sammy', and Andie were wrestling each other on their branch, trying to get each other off for one of them to fight the bear. Only Andie shoves 'Sammy', who grabs Cody, causing both of them to fall.
"Her attitude's one thing… But she threw three of us down to that bear. Totes would've had a hundred-percent chance of dying." Tom's voice was heard.
Then it shows Andie grabbing him by the neck and throwing him to the ground.
"I managed to garner a few more of my friends to deal with her…" finished Tom.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
*CONFESSIONALS: Devin, Jasmine, Monica, Emma*
Devin: (hesitant) I don't know… Neither of what they did made them any less guilty… Though I guess if I have to pick who's more twisted, I'd choose Andie. Sorry Andie, but you are burying yourself even deeper at this point.
Jasmine: I'll eliminate Andie for now, but I really need to knock some sense into Sammy. I don't know what's gotten into her. Is her attitude the reason why she doesn't have any friends?
Monica: (ponders about it, holding the two pictures of Sammy and Andie) Boy… I really want to out Amy… But… at the same time, Andie's no saint herself… I guess I'll just close my eyes and vote at random… (she closes her eyes, and makes an X for Andie's picture)
Emma: That's one down, one more to go… And I thank Tom for making this move to out Andie. This cancer on our team has overstayed her welcome. (sighs) Now I just need Amy out too…
*END CONFESSIONALS*
Andie folded her arms, glaring at her former teammates. "Alright, you know what?" she asked, "Fine. See if I care. You all lost your best player here. I hope you feel good about yourselves…"
"Bye bye, Andie!" taunted Tom, "Also, your attire blows."
"Ugh, screw this!" Andie hissed, as she started making her path to the Dock of Shame, "Screw all of you!" She flipped everyone off, and started walking, but not before throwing an idle rock at Tom, who dodged it.
"Nice knowing you, mate…" Jasmine said, with her arms on her hips. Her response was a rock being thrown at her direction, to which Jasmine stepped to the side.
Meanwhile, Cody felt sad. He got up from his stump, though he still felt a little pain from the bear attack, and went to follow the rebel.
The camera shows Andie, who already boarded the Boat of Losers. She had her back turned against the Dock of Shame, and had no intention of turning back.
Suddenly, she started hearing someone call her name.
"Andie!" Cody's voice was heard, "Andie, hold up!"
Just then, the Boat of Losers started up, and took off from Wawanakwa, just in time for Cody to make it to the edge of the dock.
"No, no, wait a minute!" Cody yelled out. But Andie was not responding; either she was too mad to talk, or she couldn't hear him. "ANDIE!" Cody yelled one last time.
The camera showed the Boat of Losers driving behind another island; and by the time Andie would hear his pleas, she was too far to respond to him. The Boat of Losers was far away.
The camera showed Cody, who looked out into the horizon for a few seconds. Then he stepped down to the edge of the dock to sit there. He looked down at the water, sad.
"I can't believe it… She's gone." he lamented.
Behind him, Chris walked to the dock, as he was about to give his final word.
"Well, looks like rejection, hurts!" he said with a chuckle, "Alright, that's five teens down, about seventeen more to go. And I don't really have much else to say, other than, I'll see you next episode! Sayonara!"

Alright, that wraps up The Sucky Outdoors! I'm sorry if I'm not updating my stories alot recently... I have a lot of priorities with school, work, and doing chores, but I at least was able to find the time to finish this chapter. It's worth knowing that I wrote Cody getting mauled by a bear a few episodes earlier than the canon. Sometimes, you gotta mix some ingredients in the bowl...
Amy could nearly be close to blowing her cover as herself. Only three other people on this island (not counting Chris, who may choose NOT to tell everyone) know what she's doing. But by this time, it seems like she's running on a thin wire. How much longer until she keeps up her act completely?
Cody has a crush on Andie, who ended up sinning and burning bridges along the way, which resulted in her elimination this episode. He wanted to say something, but it was too late, as the Boat of Losers left, carrying the rebel with her. How will Cody feel in later episodes?
Tom managed to be a key contributor in this episode's elimination. Does this make him a key player, or a threat Amy, or anyone else, sees as something that has to be disposed soon?
Now about Andie's elimination, I bet you guys were shocked to see her getting eliminated this episode. I almost thought of eliminating Cody this chapter, but then I decided that Andie wouldn't be too hot of a character to deal with. She's burnt so many bridges in her path, that it makes her trapped by 'mountain lions', and it might make her impossible to get out of it. Even if Amy does get eliminated before her, she's still susceptible to be eliminated the next time the Gophers get eliminated. So, in the end, I decided to take her out... I'm sorry to you Andie fans, or those who hate her (it's okay if you hate her for what she's done this episode and the one before), but sometimes there's gotta be some hard choices that I have to execute (and there's more where that came from...).
A lot of this episode was focused less on the Killer Bass (minus Duncan, Ennui, Chelsea, and a little bit of Sam). I'm hoping that soon, I could focus a little more on the Bass. Some characters deserve their spotlight too!
Make sure to read, review, follow or favorite this story if you have the option! Who do you think might be next to leave? Feel free to say what you feel about this chapter! Until next time!
(1) - Tangled really has a lot of moments... I just had to do it
(2) - Hercules too. Decent movie, but still had a lot of creative moments
